This spoons is never going to blow you away. It is great for the price of food and drink, especially when a match is on, the vibe is really good. The food is hit and miss, depending on how busy it is, and the waiting times on match days is atrocious. I am still puzzled why they do not bring in more when West Ham have a game. Lots of seating in and out, though again come early if match is on otherwise you will be standing. Only 3 toilets for the ladies which is poor but otherwise pretty standard spoons. Would recommend for West Ham fans.

Amazing service as always from Tracy and Louise, you should be very proud to have these two ladies as representives of your company, they are very friendly and take time to get to know their regular customers which is a bit rear these days, I appreciate their amazing service and would highly recommend the golden grove for a drink and food.

the worst costumer service I've ever had in my life. Today, June 16, 2024, I had a regrettable and bad experience with the customer service at this pub. It was a sunny afternoon so we chose this pub because of the nice outside garden. I went to the cashier to order some starters to eat and I did a quick math in my head and I knew the cost wouldn't be more than £10.00 but the cashier charged me £15.00 so I was confused by the amount and I said: it's too expensive. Then the employee answered me: you are in the city of London, that is a cheap price. I felt extremely embarrassed because he treated me as if I were a tourist and had no money. I went back to the table with the change in my hand and when speaking to my boyfriend we actually realized that they had overcharged and I was missing £5.74. I went back to the cashier and reported it and they refunded the amount. Honestly, mistakes can happen to everyone, but they didn't even look at my face to apologize. I found it rude. but it didn't end there, because while I was getting my correct change from the til, the waiter went to my table and delivered the wrong food, my boyfriend, not knowing exactly what I ordered, started eating, when I arrived at the table and realized I went back to the queue to speak again with the manager that the waiter brought the wrong food, he replied that he couldn't change it anymore because my boyfriend had already started eating, any restaurant in the world would change the food, another disappointment, so I said: today you made a mistake with my money and with my food, that was really bad, he replied, don't complain, you're still eating too much, and I already refunded his money. I said it's not about eating too much it's about that today you made a mistake with my money and I still have to eat another food that I didn't choose, just say you're sorry. Do you know what he answered me? I'm not going to apologize because there's no reason to, I've already refunded your money. I was extremely disappointed, I have never felt so poorly served in a restaurant. in the end I told him: you are so rude , God bless you. I went back to the table and had to eat the wrong food.

Aashayh, she has been extremely helpful and she has truly understand our need, truly focused on customer service and also she made sure we got safely home! We do recommend Wetherspoons Stratford!!!

Klasse Pub mit sehr gutem Pub Essen. Waren mehrfach hier, weil das Essen gut war, eine reichhaltige Auswahl, große Portionen und relativ günstig. Für ein alkoholischen Getränk (z.B. Strongbow oder Cider) umgerechnet € 3,50 … 👍

Absolute joke! Rude staff !! We waited ages for the online order and when the food are (cold) we still didn’t receive the cutlery or drinks. The manager couldn’t even face us!! Avoid by all costs!!

The food is ok IF they can get the order right, yet ANOTHER disastrous visit here with them getting the main course order wrong AGAIN!! Both my friend and myself ordered extra coleslaw (these come in a larger pots than the standard portion) with our meals tiny pot came out which was the portion I was meant to get with my meal anyway ...complaining to the server he didn't seem to understand the these were portions that came with the meal he took 6 attempts involving I'm guessing a manger in the end to sort it out, also they couldn't do cocktails thet DIDN'T have ANY JUGS to serve them in what the heck !!! I then tried ordering Southern comfort and American..they didn't have any southern comfort JUST WOW ... This ISN'T the worst this that's happened here the last time I got CUSTARD served with my MIXED GRILL in a bowl on the plate mmmm you did read that right lol ....I did wonder what the heck it was !! ....I HAD ordered it BUT it was meant to come with the dessert !!!! The manager is lovely and harassed bless him some of the bar staff are ok, but a LOT of the serving staff don't have a clue !!! They don't seem to understand the problems or grasp what your trying to explain to them ... more than once. And don't even get me started on the cleanliness or lack of in the the pub generally let alone the nasty toilets !!! The ONLY reason we come is as it's close to my friend for a catch up, but if there was another whetherspoon near to her one we would 100% avoid this one sorry to say.

Got my food before mu drinks and had to wait 10min after my food to go up and ask for my drinks was polite and the women still wouldn't give my drinks even thou I told her my table number and the drinks had been sitting there for ages and then the manger come over and we asked for her name as she was rude for nothing and she said she ant telling us her name laughed at us said we was never aloud back in there again and then someone called her by her name so we said thanks that's our complaint sorted and she laughed and hide in the back room never would I go back in there the food was cold at this point so waste of money

Good location large pub.and cheap Is about as positive as I can be, Tables sticky not sure when they get a clean small flies flying around the drinks all night. Used the toilet and the door to the toilet was filthy as were the toilets some one needs to give those a deep clean Would not recommend this pub. This is actually 0 stars for all but won't let me select 0. Sarah the so called manager today on 30 sept 2023 is the worst I've ever come across and does not know what customer service is. Dropped our drinks and blamed us and would not replace them and then when I wanted my food order refunded as the service is do bad she refunded the wrong table. Hasn't got a clue and has a terrible attitude. Plus they suspend online ordering when it's not even busy because they are so bad and cannot cope. Also it's packed on match days by west ham. Fans and would be empty without them but cannot sing and create an atmosphere. Absolutely awful pub and the food is pretty poor too. Always cold and greasy and very unappetising. The photo uploaded is the appalling so called manager. Most definitely in the wrong job. Had no clue and as yet still no refund in my acct for the food order I cancelled. Totally ripped me off. Will be complaining to head office though I'm sure they wont care either. REVIEW I want to approach this from a different angle: looking at my fellow reviewers’ use of the English language (all of whom -by definition- have visited or continue to frequent Spoons), the question arises: how would anyone in their right mind want to frequent these pubs for any length of time anyway?? Top tip: by all means, visit for a quick, reasonably priced drink, BRIEFLY before a good night out. DO NOT, under any circumstances, tarry, particularly after dark…

Came in as a group and couldn’t be seated due to people taking up larger tables with smaller parties leaving no where for us to sit after half an hour of waiting then sat down to order food and drink , my drink took 20-30 mins to arrive and then my food after 45 minutes still didn’t show up and so when I asked for a refund the staff where very unprofessional and made me feel like it was my fault that the order didn’t come ,they then also proceeded to not give me the money back and send it to my bank, usually I will always stand by a weatherspoons as it’s cheap, fast and friendly service but this weatherspoons in particular was not any of the above I am very very disappointed and shall not return to the golden grove weatherspoons again and I certainly wouldn’t recomend to a friend

It says no frills not no standards, our standards experience with food here was nothing less than appalling , firstly first to be served had no cutlery brought and he had to hunt a staff member down to ask for some, one of us had sausage and mash and the gravy was a thick lumpy mess. My burger was simply just that with a load of pickles packed on the top no salad or anything . If it’s that no frills reduce your prices. I asked the group marks out of 10 for food at a Wetherspoons the reply was it would be a minus figure.

Like all Wetherspoon pubs, this is a place where you can get a meal with a drink included for a decent price. But this was the first time ever that I was served a hamburger with the plastic wrapping not being removed before grilling, but served on my plate. Hopefully they are more careful when they serve children.

Having visited many spoons across the country this one is one of the worst. You don’t expect A1 service, but the place looked like it needed a good clean. Been ignored at the bar four times was annoying, but this was only surpassed when I went to the gents to find a turd on the floor (which was still there 30 mins later on my second loo trip). We all know spoons is good vaule, but id give this one a miss.

This location was very near near my hotel, and I chose it entirely out of convenience. I wasn't disappointed. The fish and chips were good. Not the best, but very good. This is a very busy spot, and worth visiting if you're in the neighborhood.

Encontrar sus cucharas más cercanas en cualquier área siempre es útil y esta se encuentra frente al supermercado Morrison en Stratford. Muy útil para los fanáticos de West Ham, a solo cinco minutos a pie del metro y del centro comercial Westfield. Después del juego es predeciblemente difícil encontrar un asiento y parece que hay muy poco personal del bar, pero creo que es el momento más ocupado. Varios porteros en funcionamiento también. No me quedé para comer, pero se veía igual que todas las cucharas, un poco seco pero comestible. Pero son las bebidas baratas las que me hacen volver una y otra vez.

Llegar a las 17: 30 de un viernes sin reserva no fue lo mejor, sin embargo, pudimos encontrar una mesa para nuestro grupo. Las bebidas y las comidas se pedían en el bar y el servicio era amable y bueno. La comida era de gran valor y bien preparada, la comida era muy buena y las raciones eran más que adecuadas. This is the third review I have left for the GG - the first was very negative, the second recognised significant improvements but, based on our most recent visit, we are back to very negative.

Anteriormente, presenté dos comentarios mordaces de este pub, pero seguí visitándolos, en primer lugar porque es un lugar conveniente para reunirme con amigos, pero también con la optimista esperanza de que las cosas puedan mejorar. We were staying in a local hotel and was directed to the Golden Grove by the receptionist at the hotel. Although it was busy the staff were very friendly and food service was very quick. The food was delicious.

The pub is quite nice and has a great selection of beers. Orders can be placed with an app, which is cool.

I had already left a negative review in March, but I wish to comment again in the optimistic hope that someone in authority might take notice (I have made one other visit in the meantime on a quiet lunchtime and was disappointed then too as there was only one pale ale available even though it was supposed to be a "beer festival", and that came out looking like brown Windsor soup - so was undrinkable).

Am Zapfhanhn werden sehr viele Biersorten vorgehalten. Der Pub scheint immer recht gut besucht zu sein, so dass man immer etwas auf einen freien Tisch warten muss.

I have been here a few times for breakfast and things have gone downhill. It was Sunday about 11am and it was quite busy. It was hard to find a table and had to use one that had not been cleared. There were many like this.I asked a waiter if he could clean it, He took the dishes away, but didn't clean the table or come back to do it. The server was fine in dealing with the transaction. When the food arrived my toast was missing and I was given a knife and fork to eat porridge.!!!. I had to find the waiter to say where was my toast and could I have a spoon. 5 minutes later they arrived. No apology. Then I had to find him again as he had forgotten the marmalade. The food was the usual Wetherspoons fare, which was fine. It was clear that there was not enough staff to cope with demand . The toilets were disgusting. it was 11.45 when I used them and they hadn't been signed off as checked since 8am.

Klassischer Pub für London, recht voll auch am Sonntag abend. Sehr gute Bierauswahl und auch zum Essen nicht schlecht. Wenn man nicht unbedingt einen Salat bestellt ;-). Aber gute Auswahl britischer Klassiker, Fish+Chips, Pie etc. Das Bestellen am Counter ist halt immer etwas chaotisch, besonders wenn es recht voll ist. Aber einfach eine nette Art, abends noch ein Bier trinken und ne Kleinigkeit essen. War im Hotel um die Ecke, gerne wieder. Ein bißchen sauberer könnte es aber sein.

Estamos visitando este lugar casi una vez a la semana durante los últimos 3 años. Y por desgracia, cada próxima vez es peor que la anterior. Regresando sólo porque cervezas selección y precios razonables. El personal no les importa sobre el cliente. Son lentos, perdidas y realmente no saben lo que están haciendo. Puede hacer simple cóctel hasta la receta. A veces bien, a veces la comida horrible. Principalmente frío y se puede decir que ha sido recalentados. Carne rosada, alas grasienta, artículos que falten.

Estado viniendo a este pub durante años, pero me parece que los estándares han decrecido de tarde. Como alguien que ha trabajado previamente en el sector, la filosofía siempre debe ser que el cliente es el rey. La razón no hay condimentos y no había papel higiénico es porque a nadie le importa - atención a tales cosas se filtre desde la cima, y si la dirección no te apetece, no esperes el resto del personal.

Amigos conocimos aquí Sábado almuerzo antes de un concierto, había una buena selección de cervezas de barril y nos sirvieron rápidamente y eficientemente. Pedimos comida del menú y de nuevo, el servicio fue rápido y eficiente. La comida estaba bien cocinado y servido de forma agradable. No tienes que buscar los condimentos (como se ha mencionado antes), no se nos preguntó si necesitábamos algo mas cuando lo servían. En general fue una buena comida - New York Deli hamburguesa, patatas fritas y aros de cebolla. Amigos tenían el pollo burger y el imperio. Buena comida, buena cerveza, y parece haber muchos empleados a servir en el bar y en las zonas que sirve comida y recoger los platos y limpiar. No tenemos ninguna queja. La espera para una bebida aquí es increíble. El personal del bar no tome nota de que está al lado o que ha estado esperando, simplemente busca en la primera persona que viene a la mente y les sirve primero. Así que si vienes aquí, espero que tu no tengas prisas!

He utilizado varias veces en los últimos años. En general es un buen Wethespoons pero el servicio puede ser un poco impredecible. La mayoría del tiempo el personal es amable y eficiente. Comida para el desayuno, de día y de noche ha estado bien. Debe mencionar el director esta noche, Sean? Alguien entregado un teléfono móvil justo después de una chica a la izquierda, y él se puso por la Broadway cierta distancia para volver.

I've been a returning a returning customer here until today... After the fact that the staff completely messed up our order of food in the value of 60 pounds we made a complaint at the bar. (we had to wait for more than 50 minutes and at the end the food they served was definitely not fresh.) The manager's response was completely unacceptable, he refused all the obvious facts and furthermore he got one of us out from the place by the security. Just because we made a complaint! The only positive feedback regards to the security staff for the understanding but the costumer service was completely dump today. In addition all the remaining staff could not say more than 'if the manager says so there is nothing to argue about'. This response shows everything about his behavior. Shame on this place.

Non aspettatevi la qualità di cibo che trovate in italia. Ma x essere a Londra ha dei piatti gustosi a prezzi modici. Ottima la birra. 7 sterline x piatto a base di pollo (varie versioni) con contorno e bibita.

I've been to this typical English pub a couple of times before related to West Ham home matches. Last time with my 16 year old daughter, no problem for her to get in. This time with friends after the Leicester game (2-3 ⚒). The pub has various types of beers and different seating zones whether your preference is eating or drinking. It's not a stressful man only drinking pub, a bit more family friendly type of place. But you do also find many men drinking beer!

Went here for dinner. Took ages to get served, as there was hardly any staff on. One of the male managers was just walking around with a piece of paper in his hand, even though loads of customers were waiting to get served. There is only one place to get condiments in this pub, a bookshelf with hardly anything on, or basically tartare sauce. There is only a few bottles of ketchup, mayo and salt/peppers dotted about in the whole pub. Not sure why they don't just leave a set of everything on each table. It's a real battle to get anything, especially when dining alone. The food came, and the new york deli burger was missing half it's ingredients. The problem was, as I was not seated in the main room, but to the side, no staff member came to that area again, so there was no way of letting them know that the food was wrong. The first time I saw another member of staff was about 20 minutes later. I asked him to get me the missing ingredients. Half my food was already finished. Then I didn't see him again. After a while he came around again to bring food to another customer. i asked him about the missing ingredients. He said they didn't have it. I asked why he didn't at least come and tell me, and he just pulled his shoulders up like he didn't really care. I visited the toilets before I left. I get why they do it, but it is a totally dumb idea to have the toilet paper above and behind the toilet, about a meter above your head. Even more stupid is the fact that the staff can clearly no change a toilet roll properly(how hard can it be...???) so therefore even though most of the toilet roll holders are full, you can't get the toilet roll out because the roll has not been fitted correctly, or the dispenser is broken, and they obviously can't replace it. I tried to speak to a manager about it all, but after waiting 15 minutes I gave up. The poor male team leader was working as fast as he can, but the female manager with the pink hair and the ill fitting clothes(looked like she was dragged through a hedge), kept disappearing and was barely making an effort. Very poor.

This is a golden medal for a dive. Extremely poor service, no idea how to deal with customers and just an awfully bad pub. The toilets had no seats, they stunk to high heaven and looked like they had no been clean for a week. With a poor rating on the food hygiene I gave the food a miss. Other customers were complaining about the food as well so happy I did not partake. Cheap beer but that's it. The worst spoon evver.

Wetherspoon was recomended for me and I have absolutely no regrets. Great traditional breakfast, staff polite and nice, prices don't bite;)

Il locale è carino e molto frequentato, sicuramente un ottimo posto per farsi una birra in compagnia. Purtroppo però la mia esperienza a cena è stata piuttosto deludente. Per fare un'ordinazione puoi scaricare un'app, ma dopo un quarto d'ora non siamo riusciti a capirne il funzionamento, nemmeno la cameriera sapeva come funzionasse quindi ci ha consigliato di andare direttamente al bancone ed ordinare. Il cibo era pesante e non particolarmente buono, ho invece apprezzato la quantità di birre che offre il menù.

What can I say absolutely fantastic breakfast staff very polite and helpful and knowledgeable and friendly and we're professional and smart in there appearance thank you
