A wonderful afternoon tea. High-quality products and very well presented.

Came here for afternoon tea, very dry pastries, def a tourist trap. They give barely two cups of tea in a metal tea pot, I would reccomend an ambience upgrade along with serving quality pastries.

I would have given a negative one star if I could. This was our first afternoon high tea experience in London, and it was terrible through and through. We’ve had much better experiences in the US, and that’s not saying much. Starting from the hosts and servers, just terrible manners, not acknowledging, not confirming things, just mumbling and avoiding eye contact. Don’t even get me started on the food. We paid 80 pounds and ate dry food that tasted stale. The tea pots looked like they were taken out of a granny’s attic from world war 2, stained and tiny. The deserts sucked and lacked any flavor. Please save your money and go to a million other good spots in London. There’s a L’eto few feet away.

Stopped by twice for dessert and both times had a great experience. The cake slices were big and tasty. Service from Carlos was warm and attentive. Great place to grab dessert after dinner.

The Lentil soup is best in London. Manager and staff are welcoming and very efficient Will keep coming back for sure

I had a very disappointing experience at this branch. I came in and sat at a table, only to be approached by a manager who didn’t greet me or speak with any basic courtesy. Instead, he told me I wasn’t allowed to sit down until he gave permission, which felt unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. When I asked if he could help me, his tone was condescending, and he made an inappropriate comment that implied I was “stupid.” This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially from someone in a management position. I left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone who expects even the most basic level of customer service.

We visited for lunch before going to the theatre. Speedy service and the food was excellent. We were served by Satish P, who was very welcoming. The rest of the serving staff were also excellent. We'll definitely be back.

The staff are so rude here! Took 20 minutes and having to beckon them over to take our order and then another 20 minutes to get the bill. Surly, poor communicators who should not be working with the public, I absolutely will not be back.

Giving two stars only because of Sulo and his excellent service — he was the only redeeming part of this nightmare. The quality of what we consumed was beyond disappointing — it doesn’t deserve even one star. The desserts were disgusting, flavorless, and honestly an insult to anyone with a palate. Absolutely awful.

Despite not many customers, waiters were more interested in talking amongst themselves Ordered coffee and scrambled eggs, food came after about 10 mins and had to ask for a coffee again overpriced and under serviced

I always planned to write a review on this cafe. I was treated a friend I hadnt seen for a while, after looking at decorations i asked her where she would like to sit down in Covent Garden. Cafe Concierto is a con, a tourist trap. They didnt have a choice of tea I opted for Sencha it cost £4.75. The worst was that my firend ordered a glass of wine : Solino Rosso & it cost £7.95, it was odinary wine, nothing special. It was exagerated. That glass of wine was almost the price of a bottle of wine & it was just ordinary wine.

Satish P served us and was very attentive and helpful.

How hard it is to find a decent salad in London! So just leaves, no bacon, eggs, cheese, etc.! Well, the grass is the grass... I found superfood salad right here! Well, everything else is also on the level! True, they brought me the wrong dish, but then they corrected themselves and brought me what I ordered, these are small things.

Llegué a Covent jardín y decidió ir a desayunar. El restaurante parecía tener un buen ambiente y nos sentamos rápidamente fuera. Tomó de 10 a 15 minutos antes de que un camarero tomó nuestra orden. Las bebidas llegaron unos 10 minutos después, los cafés estaban fríos. Esperé y esperé por comida. Habíamos estado esperando una hora y perseguido varias veces, pero nadie regresó con ninguna actualización. Pudimos ver mesas sentadas después de que nos sirvieran, lo que fue frustrante. Finalmente, varios empleados intentaron perseguirlos. Vimos a nuestro camarero pasar nuestra comida a una camarera y fue a recoger nuestra 3a comida, la camarera llevó nuestra comida a otra mesa. Decidimos que ya era suficiente y nos levantamos para irnos. Nuestro camarero llegó con la 3a comida y le preguntó cuál es el problema que ahora tiene su comida y le informamos que se había dado a otra mesa. ¡Su cara lo dijo todo! Servicio horrible, café horrible, pérdida de tiempo.

It is nice location however staff is a bit rude and rushy. You feel like you should eat and leave immediately. Otherwise everything tastes good👍

Cold, felt like we are sitting in corridor. Service slow. Cappuccino was a latte in a smaller cup. Witnessed staff speaking unprofessionally towards another member of staff, who clearly has less experience.

Un almuerzo muy pobre hoy que no estaba en! Pedimos pan italiano y nos dieron pan integral tostado con mantequilla de ajo y una de las comidas principales era demasiado ajoso para comer! Le informé al personal, pero apenas podían hablar inglés! Nuestra comida para 4 personas era de £ 156 y siento que esto fue muy decepcionante y muy por debajo de la media.

I had the Amalfi sorbet whi h was amazing however I did not enjoy the pancakes. They were super heavy and not fluffy as advertised. The service was good. The waiter Satish P was very polite provided an excellent service.

Caffé Concerto in Covent Garden is one of our go to place for late night tea and dessert, I’m glad we met Carlos S who gave us a good recommendation for the cakes and dessert, and truly it was the best! Such a friendly and welcoming staff!

A sad joke. I gave them a lousy review, so they had someone respond here with a promise of making it right. A week later, no response to my email - which is even longer than I waited for our food and beverages to arrive. There are better places.

A pleasant place and impeccable service. Special mention to Abdel who speaks French and who took great care of us. The afternoon tea is superb and very generous.

Unfortunately, our experience here wasn’t great. We came in looking forward to enjoying some classic desserts, but things didn’t quite go as expected. We ordered three pre-made cakes — something that should have taken just a few minutes to serve — but after placing our order, our waiter disappeared for over 30 minutes. To our surprise, we later saw him having his dinner at a nearby table. He didn't even come to apologise after. Thankfully, another waitress eventually stepped in and handled everything quickly and efficiently. As for the desserts, we really wanted to like them, but they didn’t live up to our expectations. One tasted old and lacked flavor, the cheesecake had an odd sour note, and only the pistachio dessert was somewhat enjoyable. We had high hopes for a sweet Italian treat, but sadly, this wasn’t the experience we were hoping for.

Very nice patisserie at the heart of London. Nice hot beverages like rose late and a selection of French-like pastries like chocolate gateux and some modern ones like Dubai chocolate. The cherry on the top was our waiter Carlos S who was very friendly and humane, a rare trait in our days! Prices were a bit high but so are everywhere in London!

As usual I had a superb meal at Caffe Concerto in Covent Garden. It is a lovely restaurant, the staff are all helpful polite and smart. Sulo is always friendly, attentive and please to see me. He is a great manager who understands how important good customer service is!

Went there for the Prosecco afternoon tea. Was very disappointed... expected better quality for the price and knowing their cakes are good. Sandwiches and scones were okay. The cake selection was limited and some of them were old (old cream and creme pâtissière isn't nice)...all of them tasted quite artificial and nothing to do with the taste or quality of slices of cake they have on show. Very expensive for an cheap prosecco, tiny pot of tea, okay sandwiches and scones and not very good cakes. Will not be coming back, especially knowing Brown's for example is cheaper and better quality.

Abysmal place. My friend and I went to grab lunch here, and the minute we stepped in, the place was filthy. The floor was completely coated in visible dust and dirt. We were seated at a dirty table that already had cutlery laid out on it. The waiter came and wiped the table very half-heartedly without even lifting the cutlery. My friend ordered a drink, and we both ordered plates of food. When the food arrived, we started eating, and a few forkfuls in, I discovered not one but two strands of very dark, thick hair in my food. My hair is a very light shade of honey brown, is thin, and was also tied up. After this, I called over a waitress, to which she replied, "It is probably fluff from someone's jumper," and then left. Minutes later, my friend discovered a strand of the same hair in her food too, and we were both disgusted. I called the waitress over again, and this time she got the manager. The manager came to the table and asked what the problem was. I explained it to him patiently and politely, and he immediately became very defensive, acting as if we were offending him by complaining about such a thing. He kept challenging me with a very aggressive tone and demeanor, saying that it was not hair, but fluff. It did not look like fluff at all. I also pointed out that the floors were dirty, so therefore the food must be unhygienic too. That’s when he realised he didn’t have much of an argument left, so he reluctantly agreed to take the food back and not charge us for it. When he brought the bill, I told him we did not want to pay the service charge, to which he started questioning me yet again, insisting the service was great—despite his nasty attitude and constant attacks. Absolutely appalling establishment which should not be allowed to operate any further. I ought to have taken more pictures. I won’t be visiting any other branches ever again and will advise my whole circle to avoid.

Tea time is expensive for a very disappointing result. Reheated pastries whose taste leaves something to be desired, absent and unpleasant staff service. We had to ask for a bottle of water three times to get it after 30 minutes of waiting. The waiters place the nested plates and cutlery, without taking the trouble to place the dishes correctly in front of the customers. On the other hand, the tip was added without our agreement and without the possibility of withdrawing it when paying (still an additional 13.50%!). Intolerable! A tourist trap to avoid!
