I booked this restaurant for my family of 10. I received an email that confirmed my booking between the hours of 5-6pm. I called the day before to confirm my booking as I havent heard good things about this restaurant anyway and thought ill give it try for myself. I questioned the time as I've never booked a restaurant that did not give me a precise time to show up. They answered- all was confirmed and booked and said I can turn up between that hour- fine. Why is it when I turn up with my party of 10 at 5.30pm I am being told that I never booked a table and that I have not confirmed my booking and nobody called yesterday to confirm. I showed the manager (who introduced himself as the manager) my booking confirmation; which by the way was comfirmed via someones iphone ( should of known by then this restaurant was not professional) he said oh I'm not the manager, I'm just here to help out.. then why the hell are you talking to me if you can't help. He mentioned we have a party of 40 people you will have to wait over an hour to get your food, they quickly put together 2 tables by the door bearing in mind I have 2 babies in my party of 10. There is no customer service, no cutlery on the table, no menus. In the end we just walked out, there was no way in hell this restaurant was going to see a penny of my money. Stay away at all cost- do not waste your time and energy and go to a WELL established restaurant that have customer service and actually remembers you even have a booking.

The food was quite nice I had macaroni fried balls and honey Hennessy tenders. I enjoyed it, and great service from Moudy(?) he went out of his way for me to receive quality service, well pleased. I am impressed and will be eating here again for sure!

I and three friends visited Crepes&Cones on Sunday 20th November unintentionally. My friends and I had planned to dine elsewhere, which was fully booked. Crepes&Cones was on our list of places to dine at in the near future, it was relatively close to the fully booked restaurant we didn’t wait for so took a chance going to Crepes&Cones. Despite a couple of reviews saying service was slow and waiting time very long we gave it ago and so glad we did. Service was excellent and waiting time was minimal to be fair it wasn't busy, a large group came after us and a few more people later on. We had an amazing meal with generous portions. We started off with the red velvet prawns, absolutely delicious in addition to the roulette of wings, tasty. Main course didn’t disappoint, once again generous potion and delectable. Service was excellent. We were served by a young lady named Olivia, she deserves 5 stars for being attentive and hardworking, she made us feel welcome, Olivia made sure we were ok. Definitely would recommend and hope to visit again.

Went to C & C on Sunday 20th not a lot of people in there but only one waitress Olivia speaking to her realised it’s her first week there, what a lovely young lady. The food was good the red velvet prawns omg. The mains was nice and hot and the apple crumble pie was a struggle to finish, so nice I had to give it a good go 😁 overall really good experience well done Olivia 👏🏾

The place definitely has potential and it’s a really good concept but it does need to improve. After the experience we had I wouldn’t receive or go back. The staff was mostly nice, but the service was so slow and it wasn’t even super busy. We went for dessert and they were nice, but took 40 minutes to get a course of sundaes and a waffle, they came a different times too, like 20 minutes difference, which when there’s a group it doesn’t work very well. And why have drinks under mojitos and then mocktails when they’re all alcohol free? A bit misleading.

My partner took me last week and we had a great time. Thé drinks were perfect and the food was 10/10. Thé service was great and we didn’t wait long for our food. Will definitely go again especially since the menu wasn’t overpriced.

I Went with my cousin who was visiting from Canada. It was our first visit to the restaurant. Great music playing. The staff were poilet,super quick service. The staff checked up on us and if we we need anything eles. We didn't wait for long for the food either. I enjoyed the starters and main. The mango moctail was amazing too. I paid by card but I wish I had cash to tip the staff. Hopefully i will return to tip the staff as they were lovely. Overall I would recommend going there from 5pm as it was not to busy. Definitely will visit again ☺

Service is terrible, they must have their friends little Sisters working for them as Most of them are “road”, Quite embarrassing as the restaurant has potential…I think they should call it a day and stick to something else but restaurants

Came here years ago when it first opened and the food was average. Decided to give it a second chance on re-opening weekend and it is still average. The jerk salmon burger was nice but nothing special. The service was not great. Ordered drinks and food, but also asked for tap water, I was told that they do not serve tap water. They serve mojitos, which I assume contain alcohol, i believe it is therefore a legal requirement that they serve tap water, but even if they did not serve alcohol, what kind of place doesn’t serve tap water?! Bad customer service!

I have went to this restaurant twice now and both times i have been waiting over a hour for my food. Everyone deserves a second chance so i visited for the opening hoping to have a different experience. I did not. People who ordered after us getting their food before us. We had gotten to the point where we was going to leave arriving at 2.30 and not getting our food till after 4 was not what we expected. Our food finally arrived but in parts so we were still waiting longer. The manager did give us free drinks which we were grateful for but the server took so long bringing them the manager brought them himself. One server then came over asking us if we would like the bill when we had not finished our drinks or food making us feel pressured to leave. Although the manager originally tried to make our experience right. It was undone by the server asking us if we wanted the bill. We travelled 2 hours for this restaurant & its sad to see that it had not changed. If you want to be waiting over a hour to eat & feel pressured to leave due to more bookings then go ahead.

Not very tasty and portions were very small and overpriced.. I won't be going back here. Also it was very slow.

Went for dessert in my daughters 18th my young son loved the photo wall and interesting memorabilia around the restaurant. Menu had lots of choices. Staff were great. Now my son wants to go for his birthday too !!

Lovely lovely food and excellent staff, huge choice of Halal food aswell for my boyfriend, really happy and will come back again soon!!

A Great value stand out restaurant strike diner with a vibe that hits you as you walk through the door. The decor and style has clearly taken a lot of attention to detail and you feel catered to and inspired. Could take my laptop or meet some friends for breakfast or have a meal before a night out . Such a lovely atmosphere with beautiful energy , friendly staff , delicious food and delicious drinks. Family friendly too and a great, fun indulgent place to go eat in this city. Lovely

Visited as I’d heard good things, however found staff to be rude and more interested in their phones than serving As we were seated at the back near the kitchen we could see our food and were waiting a while for it to be given to us, to then see one of the waitress taking pictures of our food before serving us which I found really bazaar. Due to the delay the Mac and cheese was so cold the cheese had hardened and the pasta was rock hard, when I told the waitress this, i was met with an eye roll and then heard the chef shout that there’s no way it could be cold across the entire restaurant The only good this about the visit was the cocktails which are amazing! Apart from this I wouldn’t waste your time going as it’s not worth it and the food is average at best

Got here with my family for a celebration. We waited for a table for 45 minutes when there were empty tables. Once we finally got seated we were left for 20 minutes just to order and when we did we were told that the waiting time for food is 45 minutes. After just over an hour waiting for our food we ask the waitress how long and she said an extra 15 minutes. At this time we were hungry and frustrated. Finally after an hour and a half the food began to come it was half of the meals (which were practically cold) and had to wait another 10 minutes for the rest of the meals and they left telling us that they ran out of plantain to after we got the meals. The food is good but such small portions. Slushies were the best part of the night. If you want to come here I suggest you leave up to 4/5 Hours for your visit because the service is super slow.

Currently sitting here and writing this review as we've been waiting for more than an hour and half for our order even though it's not busy at all and fairly empty for a Saturday evening. We keep having to flag the staff down to ask about our order and remind them we have been waiting. Not a good first time visit and we can't say we'd visit again.

I went here on a Wednesday evening the place was empty as it was quite late.There was one waitress there and cook in the kitchen.We were seated and were waiting for the waitress to take our order but she was too busy cleaning so we had to call out and say we are ready to order.We ordered drinks and she carried on cleaning for a while but didn't actually make the drinks. We had to then ask her again "can we have our drinks please".The food was absolutely amazing! It cannot be faulted however we were expecting the infamous shaped 'freak of the week' cocktail in the same glass but it just came in a normal glass instead.This place would be great if the service was better because the vibes, music and food is good but service is terrible.

Nice food, Summer(Waitress) was great and really tried to help us but the kitchen staff couldn’t get to grips with our order. We had people finishing 20 mins(maybe more) before the last person even got their food. Value for Money? No.

This place is probably a bit too cool for me, I felt very old! Amazing food though, and the interior is epic. We had amazing desserts, and I have no doubt thet the whole menu is good, they really have done this properly. The only thing I didn't like was the speed, I felt like we were being a pain wanting to order (after 25 minutes) That said, if we had known it was a laid back service situation we'd have made more time to be there, because it was really good. I could see that the other diners were doing just that, taking time to hang out rather than just eating.

I recently visited to this establishment as my friends and I were in London today and decided to give it a try, we shouldn't have bothered. 1st Starters came out cold and were tasteless, there wasn't a single fork at the table so asked the waitress to get us some but there were none on shop floor so had to go wash some, sent one starter back but my main had then come because it took so long. Again mains were cold and portions were tiny, tasteless and over cooked, customer service was appalling and then had the cheek to service reach persons food!!!! What a joke this place is hyped because of the artists involved, your better off eating in hungry horse!!

Ok, so my 11 year old son has been nagging me to take him to this place.... as we are from Birmingham I waited for the holidays to book a table.Naturally prior to our visit I read the reviews and almost cancelled due to some very negative comments. So when we arrived it was quiet and I appreciate that would annoy people waiting for there food. However..... as I walked to the toilets I noticed in the kitchen are the chef has chicken breast and a tub of seasoned flour. What does this tell me.....?? YOU WAIT FOR YOUR FOOD BECAUSE THE FOOD IS FRESH!!!!! Perhaps many people writing bad reviews are used to pre frozen “pub grub” and can’t seem to fathom why you will have longer waiting times for fresh food....The service; the waitress who welcomed us was friendly and extremely polite, agreeable she left us a little too long before offering us drinks but other than that she was what was expected from a good eatery. The ambiance was lovely and was nice to hear current music for the kids rather than something suited to olders.The food came and was lovely.... great flavours, fresh and warm. Only thing we’re the chips we’re a little colder than I would have liked... but the fact that the food was of such a good fresh standard who the hell moans about a few chips?! All in all we really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend! In a nutshell, if your not a great cook and don’t appreciate good food, this place will definitely have you writing bad reviews. But if you are the latter; you will appreciate what’s served to you and won’t mind the wait at all!

I came here with my teenage daughter, tbh I wouldn't of gone if not for her. Everything is just average. We booked a table for 2pm, when we arrived the place was pretty empty. We ordered, the food took a little over 15mins to come, I ordered the chicken and waffle, which was just that, nothing special at all. The chicken was very bland and under seasoned, the waffle a little on the doughy side. And there was no sparkling water!On the upside the waitress was very polite. I wouldn't come here again.

Shocking service! 2 people serving, making drinks, taking orders for the whole restaurant?! Constant angry shouting ‘Service!’ from the kitchen. Ordered drinks before meal came and they never arrived so paid and left, didn’t even get to have dessert as knew we’d be waiting all night! We booked table a week in advance yet could only get 6.45pm but so many empty tables so either they’re blocking from booking at busy times or people read reviews before and didn’t waste their time!

Had a lovely time in here, the only thing i suggest dnt go early they will only be you and the table and chairs chilling,food was nice but need more customers, they should open up more later than 2.00 because it looks like people dnt start coming until 5pm

Customer service an all time low. arrived at 20.30 only to be seen for our order at 09.15. Food came out at 10.30 after keep asking the staff and even then it did not come out complete. 8 people and only 7 burgers came out with 2 chips rather than 8 burgers and 8 chips. buff burgers were cold and so was the chips. spoke to the manager and she asking if i want to cancel the other orders. lauagbale to be honest. would not recommend to anyone. was looking forward to it and went out our way to go there. We was not the only people to be waiting a long time. It was not even over busy.

Went here with my girlfriend for lunch when up London for my birthday. Food was proper nice especially the Henny wings and got the big disco ball cocktail! Would recommend v good service for us too

Came here for my niece birthday and Luke was the only one on the floor serving, great service from Luke he was very kind and exceptionally friendly. We didn’t wait that long considering he was the only one serving! Luke made my experience at crepes and cones amazing. My niece couldn’t stop talking about her unicorn slushy that he made for her birthday I think this was her highlight of her night. Well done LUKE brilliant

Visited this evening - food tasted very nice, staff were friendly and helpful. Summer was amazing. Helpful and positive attitude. Highly recommend attending! :)

Upon entering, the restaurant was a ghost town, greeted by what is seemed like child labour, seated right by the door which was freezing cold, then moved to the back area, silly division like on the floor which everyone buckled over. The tiniest menu on planet earth, may as well order the entire menu for one as it’s that small.Mediocre food, filthy oil hence the chicken tasting horrid. Over caramelised Henny Wings, stuck to the plate & had a fight with it just to take it out the plate Really needs a serious look into, re-up the menu, staff & food for sure. The staff were incompetent & hadn’t a clue what was going on.

Popped in for a desert, from the minute we walked through the door the service was shocking. The waitress grabbed two menus and walked over to a table unbeknown to us see was showing us to our table. When we asked the difference between the different apple crumble puddings we were known the wiser. We waited for half an hour for it to arrive, and as we were near the bar 3 people came to the counter two wanting to know when there food was coming the other thought you had to go to the bar to order their food as they had waited so long. The restaurant looks dirty, the red tiles are greasy, the glass fridge doors are rooted. The waitress have long hair but have no hats or nets on. Toilets dirty tissues all over the place. When the waffle came it was so doughy I left nearly all of it I had a bit and my husband tried a bit, the waitress didn’t even ask what was wrong with the desert. Would definitely not go again. Shame because I thought with a the hype of the place absolute let down.

I purposely came at 3pm on Friday 15th Nov as I wanted to see what it was like. Excellent service. The Oreo shake and apple crumble were brilliant! Great place in a town that is like my 2nd home. Great vibe!

We visited this place as couples on a Saturday night, which wasn’t busy at all for a weekend but the service was shocking. We waited 20 minutes to order a drink and then another 20 to get these drinks, and even longer for our food. The food was really nice so it’s such a shame it was crap service. We had empty plates for around 20 minutes before getting cleared as staff would just walk straight past our table. We got told a side dish would be 2 minutes but we didn’t get this until we asked (once we had all finished our main meals) so around 25 mins/half hour. I honestly wouldn’t recommend even though the food was nice.

I and my girlfriend celebrated our 1 year anniversary here. The mocktails were amazing and Savannah the waitress was amazing. Look out for her when you visit 👍🏽

We had a table booked for 7 people, waitresses were fine, one of us ordered Henessy prawns and the rice which came out cold, kids had a vegan burger and veg kebabs which they seemed to enjoy and I had the Henessy wings which were lovely. However bill came and we seemed to of been over charged for certain things. Waitress has to amend our bill twice and I think if we hadn’t of checked it we’d of overpaid by at least £30.

my experience at creps and cones was brilliant. the staff, especially a young girl named savannah, were very kind and helpful. the food was amazing and very delicious. the drinks, alcoholic as well as non-alcoholic, were refreshing and tasty too. the place itself has a very nice vibe with good music playing while you’re enjoying your meal.

The service was not great, need better staff. The wait was far too long, over an hour and the restaurant was not exactly packed! The food was so poor, the chicken, waffle & chips was so sh*t. I would of rather eat Iceland oven food and I don’t eat Iceland oven food!!! Even the apple juice tasted like no frills apple juice with ice, which im sure it was. My family and I all left hungry and was sure to go and get food elsewhere, what a waste of our time. Never had no nice dining experience. The best thing was the music. While I was there, 2 other customers also seemed very disappointed. Would not be coming back here, ever. Even if I was having a free meal. Definitely would NOT recommend this place to any one. Great server, really friendly, took order correctly however then 30 minutes wait for drinks. An hour later only half the food order came as kitchen forgot to make the rest so we cancelled it as we'd finished eating. Then only one of the two desserts came so cancelled that too.Restaurant was less than half full, maybe only six tables of people and at least two other tables had similar problems. Nobody in charge. That's the problem with celebrity restaurants. Owners not there and no idea what's going on. Will never go back.

Went to Crepes & Cones today for my birthday lunch and was so impressed with both the service and the food. We ended up getting to the restaurant quiet early so there was no delay in food arriving and when it did it was insanely tasty, full of flavor and brilliant portion size. We went for starters of chicken wings (a must), plantain and fried shrimp - could’ve easily just kept eating those over and over. For the mains we ordered the BUFF (beef) and What The Cluck (chicken) burgers plus chicken and waffles with fries! Couldn’t get enough of it, it was fresh, tasty, flavoursome- everything you’d want in a main! To finish off an insane meal we ordered milkshakes and pancakes with fruit and Nutella - which again was incredible! Definitely coming back very soon for seconds and a massive shout out to our waitress Lizzie who was amazing! See you soon guys ❤️

The food was prompt and very well cooked there is one person in particular that I would love to thank and that is the sweet young lady that served me called Anjum she made my time was enjoyable and was also very friendly making it her mission that my meal was exquisite.Please make sure makes she receives some recognition for her efforts Kindest Regards

This was the second time I was visiting the restaurant and I have to say the service me and my family received was amazing. The food and music was great and even the kids meal look delicious. We were seated as soon as we entered and our waiter Victoria looked after us so well.I definitely recommend this restaurant if ever your in the area.

I went to Creps and Cones for the first time today with my husband. I’ve heard mixed reviews so I was very nervous, coming here was the best choice I made. I came at 1 o’clock, it wasn’t busy but it wasn’t empty so it was perfect. The staff is wonderful, especially a young lady named Tyler, she went out her way to even make my my favourite dessert that ran out. The food came so quickly and everything tasted so good, I was very full and satisfied. I highly recommend Creps and Cones and I’ll be coming again very soon!

Fabulous first visit. Warm welcome. As soon as you enter there is a sign saying to ask staff with regards to food allergies and intolerances. Servers friendly. Didn’t order starters , we just went straight in with the mains, good thing too. We ordered the Chicken and waffle and the Hennessy Tiger Prawns which comes served with rice as a part of the meal . The food was well presented and looked very tasty. We were not disappointed. Would definitely order this again. We ordered one dessert waffle to take away. We amended the dessert with alternative toppings for allergy purpose. The server was also very helpful in suggesting an alternative to the choice of sauces they offer. In all the staff were nice and the restaurant was comfortable and attractive with a good atmosphere.

Stale chips and overflowing, watery milkshakes. The high price point is fine if it’s backed up by quality but that’s seriously not the case with our experience. The sixth form student that served us had no idea how to serve. He charged us more than what was printed on our bill at the end, we had to correct him.

Went to try it out ourselves after reading more bad reviews than good. We booked a table online so you we didn’t wait that long. The server took our order and 10mins later came back to say our order didn’t go through, so we had to repeat our order. The mains came out before the starters and the wings I got were not even hot. The only things I liked and recommend is the Mac & cheese and the Delroy Island Cocktail.

Four of us, had a late lunch. We had table booked but we're running late. Phoned restaurant and they were happy to hold table another hour.Staff very friendly and helpful. The chicken on waffle and maple syrup was a great dish. The kinder milkshake was fantastic.Only negative was our main course did not arrive together.

Don’t let the bad reviews put you off! We visited here at the weekend and travelled a long way just to visit here.I had BBQ wings, mac and cheese and seasoned fries as my main and all of it was great, hot and fresh. The BBQ wings were amazing. The crepe for dessert was okay but I enjoyed the main a lot more. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would love to return.

Disappointing meal for a birthday, better off spending your hard earnt money elsewhere. Why did it take 15 minutes for tap water? why was the burger as dry as my dms? Why did i nearly choke on stale chips? WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

We were visiting family in London and our son wanted to visit here. It wasn’t far so we decided to have a meal out. All of us were very impressed with our meals. Very filling and good value for the price. Friendly helpful staff, served by Lizzie. If we are in the area again we would definitely return.

We took our daughter here for her birthday today and we honestly couldn’t of left happier! The service was amazing the food was luscious as where the drinks! Our daughter is only 7 today and her favourite music is rap so going here today was about this for her not just the puddings and she was made to feel special by all the staff here, to the point of wanting to go back once a month. So definitely a five star rating from us it would be more if there was an option.

Visited Crepes & Cones yesterday with family and it was really really tasty. Clean restaurant, easy menu and flavoursome food! The food exceeded our expectations and is literally one of the best diner type restaurants we’ve been to as everything we ordered had GOOD FLAVOUR! (compliments to the Chef). Victoria, our waiter was very pleasant too and gave us really good service, thank you :) We ordered a starter, main and side but was too full to get to dessert, but we plan on visiting another time to try them (which i’m sure will be delicious). The waffle crumble dessert is calling us and looks rather good.Our food recommendations: Hennessy Honey wings and the Mac n cheese are worth a try, they were sooo nice! AND the fries were even tasty.Constructive criticism: Popcorn shrimp starter could’ve had a little more prawns as it was very small. The drinks/glass size could be revised also and be abit bigger considering the price paid e.g. the small glasses used for a £5 milkshake. The restaurant could perhaps offer Small and Large sizes and charge like £3.50 for small and a larger size £5 if anything.Overall, thanks guys, keep up the great work!

We had waiting so to visit the services was shocking the waitress we had was so bad that we took service charge off as we felt it was not warranted. The wings came and most of the were burnt and I’ve never seen half a wing or a a chicken that small in my life the food is seriously over rated. We than ordered more drinks which were the best part of the dinner and again she brought over half and we had to ask her 4 times can we have the others please there was no apologies for the lackness. By this point we sacked off desserts, I wouldn’t recommend it if honest

After waiting months to visit this place we was also very disappointed. The menu is so different and the choices are great, shame the food was cold.The staff were slow and rude, not the sort of service you expect when the restaurant adds 12.5% service charge onto the bill.We asked for some tissues and sauces with our meal, they completely forgot.Wish we had read the reviews on here before deciding, will definitely go to a neighbouring restaurant instead next time.

I had waited months to come to Crepes & Cones, where some friends and I were actually hoping to visit a few months ago, but they were closed for refurbishment, which made me even more excited to finally visit.We went to the restaurant on a weekday around 5pm, so the restaurant was practically empty, which was fine with us. We initially wanted to visit for lunch, but they don't seem to open until 4pm, which is a little strange. So I do think they should consider opening from 12pm, especially during the school holidays.I had been on a diet for a few weeks, so my visit was actually a cheat day so my hopes were really high! I ordered the Hennessey prawns as a starter, then the chicken and waffles with a side of mac & cheese and sweet potato fries. After the images on Instagram, I had to try a bit of everything!Hennessey prawns - The prawns were deveined which was good to see, as not many fast food type restaurants do this, but the Hennessey sauce was weird and tangy. Not sure if it was supposed to be their twist on the Jack Daniel's sauce that TGI offer....but I wasn't impressed.Chicken & waffles - The coating around the chicken was ok, but feel I could have bought it from the freezer section in Tesco, as it was bland inside and very mediocre... the waffle was nothing special. Similar to the one you can get from Creams dessert cafe. On a plus side, the golden syrup was a good consistency. Mac & cheese - Was the worst I've had from a restaurant - it was really bland so I feel they forgot to add salt to the macaroni and some of the edges were a little burnt. It also had the added ingredient of spring onion, which I'd never had before in mac & cheese. I wouldn't have minded but they had been chopped so large, that you often confused it for a macaroni piece!Sweet potato fries - Were perfectly fine!All in all, I was very disappointed as I thought it was going to be the UK's version of the American style type of food that's offered in the US - sadly not.Positives were - decent length of time to be served, reasonable price and had air con on one of the hottest days of the year.

To begin with, credit must be given to the PR team behind the franchise, as their Instagram page and promotional video certainly painted an idyllic picture of a fashionable and chic dessert place. Despite this, the main thing to take from the trip was the magic of Instagram filters and A-lister endorsement.Apparently, it turns out 'chic' means a grubby interior, damaged upholstery, next to no customer service and music that hasn't been calibrated to the right decibel, at a level sufficient enough to make your ears bleed. The best service we had all night was receipt of the bill, which we didn't even ask for. The tap water took so long we thought they'd gone to source it from the local well. I just really hope I don't sound too salty - something the chips did a fine job of. To make matters worse, this experience has meant I can't even listen to the original Crepes and Cones song without getting violent flashbacks to our horrendous experience. Please save your money and time - I wish we did.

I'm honestly so annoyed. We waited 30mins for wings and chips - when the wings came it was burnt. We had to send it back and them waited another 15mins - the whole exprience was slack. On one came to apologies for the latness, you can tell people have no heart for this - in the end we just paid for our drinks and the chips and left... even then - no1 apologied -After having been there for 45mins, we left hungry and annoyed. I love to support my people but this was a no no.

Visited with a party of 20 work friends for my 50th. I had the lamb ribs which was a good choice “ delicious and tender”. Raj was our waiter he was brilliant. Customer service second to none. Can’t wait to visit again. Cocktails are fabulous

We visited Crepes and Cones yesterday for my Dad's Birthday with no prior reservation but was seated promptly by Aiden we ordered everything from the menu and it was all delicious!!!! The freak of the week cocktail was amazing i will definitely be returning

Spent what felt like forever waiting for food. Staff didn’t even warn us about the wait. Would not recommend.

We booked here for my 6 year old daughter’s birthday via phone..yes they did answer lol.We were told to pre order as there were a large group of us (29 in total),so we sent through our orders on the day via email although we did not get any response back to say they had received our orders Which was a little worrying, but we decided to just turn up and hope for the best.Luckily we were not disappointed, all of our orders were ready and waiting and served upon arrival except for one waffle which was brought out while we received our bill. We had only one waitress (shout out to Tyler) which I found a bit strange for such a large party but she did an AMAZING job. She was extremely patient, very calm and nothing was too much trouble! considering there were little ones running around everywhere! Well done Tyler thank you for being such a great waitress!

myself and 4 others visited for my son's 15th birthday in the 12 June we had a table booked and on arrival was not greeted I approached bar and told him I had a reservation he looked round and shrugged and said sit where ever it was fairly quiet.my son has been excited to come for a long time we travelled 2ish hours for him to celebrate his birthday, I had asked via the booking if I could bring candles and had no response so we didn't take a cake.the service was slow the waitress was polite but didn't seem to be in any hurry, once we had ordered drinks and food it took a long time for it all to arrive to the table. the starter was fine and we ate most of it and dinner was ok except our order was not complete and it was hard to flag down staff to request the missing chips. we then ordered more drinks which took 20ish minutes and I'm pretty sure my cocktail didn't have any alcohol in it and tasted rather unpleasant. Our family was prepared to order dessert but again it was hard to flag down anyone.The wait for the bill was lengthy and we then had to approach the bar to explain about missing chips as we refused to pay for food we did not have. walk to bathroom was rather slippery and I would not recommend going to the toilet in high heels.the restaurant itself has a really lovely feel to it and the music playing was in keeping with the theme I'm just sad that it wasn't the experience my son had hoped for.

Pretty much just that. We were only there for desserts so can't really so much bout the food and that. I'd come back though and try the food, gotta do that. The desserts were nice, I ain't got any complaints, they did what they were supposed to, so I'd come back and bang them again. Actually, wait nah, I do have one complaint. Why the milkshakes so that small though? Was looking for a proper big ole milkshake for that price, not some itty bitty ti**y milkshake, nah man. That price ain't worth it. (You lots is rich already )Anyway, shout out Lizzie though. She held it down with the service.

Excellent customer service from Victoria she was very attentive and provided us with excellent service, even made sure asked if anyone was alergic to anything (suffer from pineapple alergie). Food was amazing as expected desert my kids loved it my only criticism was the maccaroni had way to much herbs inside still finished it as beside that it tasted amazing very cheesy. Would recommend it to family and friends great music as well.

I cant knock the food at this joint i had the mac nd cheese plaintain wings burger chips and 2 drinks set me back almost £50! but thats not what annoyed me what i didnt like was the fact i was fasting and had to wait a whole hour before my food came?? Ngl not acceptable staff were friendly but so slow service.

I am pleasantly surprised by the complete turn around I have experienced at Crepes and Cones. The service was much more quicker than at the beginning, however the great staff were constantly updating us with the order progress and their lovely banter. It made the experience less of a negative, which I appreciate. The food was delicious and worth the wait! Keep up the good work C&C x

Went here for my birthday and I wish I listened to my friend as she warned me the place was awful but I was determined to go as I have been wanting to since it wasn’t opened. Where do I begin, the service was terrible...we arrived and told the waitress we had a booking, she said okay and proceeded us to take us to a table for 3. We told her actually we booked a table for 5 and the rest of our Pary were on the way and asked if we could sit on the empty table for 6. She told us we couldn’t sit there as it was reserved (the restaurant was barely fun and there was plenty of space) so we asked her to show us to a table of 5 then, to which she replied that there were none available. Puzzled, I told her that I had a booking and that she needs to review our booking. After stood around for 10 mins waiting for her to look on the system, finally she agreed we could have that table for 6 but we could only have it for 1h 30 mins. Errr no, I told her our booking clearly said the table would be for 2 hours and showed her my email. We sat at our table and had to fan down a waiter after no one came to our table for 18 mins (my friend is a restaurant manager...she timed it). We ordered drinks (some tap water and 2 cocktails) and our food (popcorn shrimp, Hennessy prawns, chicken wings). Oh my gosh the food was terrible, I almost lost a tooth on the popcorn shrimp as it was over fried and clearly sat under the light in the kitchen for added gravel texture. We asked for fresh ones and the next batch was undercooked and you could taste the flour batter. Hennessy prawns was so tasteless! Chicken wings were the only saving grace. Still hungry we decided to try the sweet potato fries, ribs and mac and cheese...yet again terrible, I have to say the sweet potato fries were okay.All the food was just tasteless and bland or over cooked and salty (ribs in particular). So disappointed as I chose this as my birthday restaurant...never again! Serious improvements needed if this restaurant wants to stay in business as the table next to us were also complaining about their food

We went for a birthday meal- where I ordered the chicken and corn cob salad. The salad had little dressing and 7 pieces of dried corn at the bottom of the salad. When I called the waitress over she said she could add more corn which I declined as it was dry. At the end of the meal I asked the manager that I shouldn’t be charged for the salad. He said I should of spoken to the waitress (which I did). I said I was pregnant and limited to what I could eat and was not happy with the option of over dry corn being added. He simply replied that I should have asked for a replacement. No empathy or apology was offered.

Hennessy prawns pleaseeee - if I wasn’t so broke I would come here everyday and order them. They are toooo peng. Definitely will keep coming back. Lovely drinks and staff too.

Well.. where do I start.. I came here very sceptical due to reviews and all sorts online. I was greeting immediately at the door by a very friendly member of staff who found us a table straight away. We ordered and had our drinks within 5 minutes. We received our food within under 10 min... chicken&waffles, BUFF burger, chicken burger, honey Hennessy prawns, popcorn shrimp, plantain and max&cheese. All of which we really really enjoyed. Well the Mac was a little salty and plantain is plantain. None the less, I finished absolutely everything. We then got two desserts to share...apple crumble and a holy crepe, which were soooo so so nice. I would really really recommend this place. The staff are lovely and all helpful, food is great and it has a really nice atmosphere. Thanks guys!! #kreptandkonan #crepesandconesdunknow!

Well i must say, disgusting is being polite. I travelled miles to be seated (by myself) and pretty much served myself also. The restaurant is so understaffed and miserable ones too who clearly don't even want to be there! The staff made the experience so dreadful, I couldn't wait to leave. The manager is so unprofessional, I tried to complain about the cold, stale, left in oil for days on end chips, as the manager just did not seem interested at all. The drinks arrived after we finished out meal, and fresh chips came after that as we were ready to leave. I would definitely not even recommend even trying.Overall experience just so disappointing.

Food and cocktails were amazing. Service was bad. I’m not sure if it was because there was only two people visibly working. Starters came out with my main when the others in my group hadn’t even had their starter. My friends order came out after we had all finished our main course. Really needs some work but food is nice.

If only the restaurant lived up to its star marketing appeal. It was my first visit to the restaurant going in with high expectations, one that had been constructed by persistent social media ploys. However, the food and service was bitterly disappointing. The very antithesis of its starry eyed image, the restaurant failed to offer any substance to the brand. We had a reservation for dinner, upon entering the restaurant was barely full, not what you’d normally expect. Perhaps indicative of its poor nature. There was not a lot of choice on the menu and a lot of the popular items had been missing. The price had been greatly inflated in comparison to their local counterparts. When our drinks arrived the glasses in which they were served must have been 250ml or less, disappointing considering I had spent £5 on a non alcoholic mocktail. We all ordered the fried shrimp starters at £5.75, when it arrived we had received more breadcrumbs than shrimp. It did however, taste quite nice with a decent sauce. The taste could not however, make up for the lack of food received. I was given 4 tiny prawns and others had more breadcrumbs that formers the shape of shrimp. Starter was not worth more than £3 in my humble opinion. The food was yet another cause for concern, barring the bland burgers to the side for one moment. My friend and I both received burnt brioche buns and over cooked chicken burgers. When brought to the attention of a staff member he kindly requested to provide us with fresh burgers. Credit where credit is due, he tried his best to rectify the error. When the new burger came, I wish I hadn’t complained in the first place. This one had a soggy bun and dry chicken breast, a burger that one could’ve gotten for at a better quality, in any other fast food restaurant. They did give us a portion of fresh chips each, frankly tasted like supermarket oven baked chips. We decided to skip dessert that we had ordered in the beginning due to the anticlimactic nature of their food. The pricing on the menu was disappointing considering the small quantity of drink and starters in comparison to the price. The staff were pleasant and accepting when we decided to opt out of paying service charge and did try their upmost to help change the poor quality of food. However it was an impossible task to rectify the errors of the kitchen, long waiting times and sub par food. Needs much improvement if they want to keep returning customers. Perhaps should pay more attention to the food rather than their celebrity restaurant facade.

My first time here travelled 4 hours to get here, first impressions waiter uninterested disgusting attitude, waited 40 minutes for drinks and only half the drinks were given, mains were served before starters. Three waiters brought the same drink which we asked for once,To add insult to injury we were charged for the drinks we didnt order that alone should make you change your name from crept and cones to broke and joke. After finishing the mains and drinks a rude waiter decided to bring our starters after rudely ignoring us three times. The waiters resonse was ‘you’ll get them wont you’ which I had no response for as I was thinking to myself are you thick. Coming back to pricing I order the prawn main but was given it as a side dish yet charged for the main, when asked the waiter why he said what do you want me to do. At this point I realised the waiters dont have a brain cell. Krept and konan seriously WO WO WO youre takeaway is a NO NO NO. Wouldnt get paid to eat here wouldnt recommend to my worst enemy. The only reason youre getting 1 star is because I dont have an option for 0 stars.

Poor quality service from a very inattentive staff. We had to wait for our booked table, ask for cutlery and water never turned up. All good came at a different time with a significant wait. When we asked three times, One of the waiter’s seemingly hushed is with a finger rather than acknowledge that we were raising a justified query! It was busy but all the waiting staff seem to congregate by the bar rather than pay attention to the customers. As someone with 30 years of service in the catering industry, I was shocked at the quality of service. My food macaroni a cheese was too salty so I removed the topping, my husband’s chicken burger was overcooked, my daughter waited over 15-20 Minutes for her wings, which she enjoyed and my son and his girlfriend waited again another 15 Minutes for each of their food! We won’t return until the improve!
