Great coffee & cakes but very busy and few empty tables. But worth a visit

I did order coffee and bacon bap but bacon bap never not coming! I do not recommend that coffee shop .

NEVER AGAIN.

SHAMEFUL. Open until 10pm. Kicked out at 6pm halfway through a meet up. Chose location to meet a friend but cut short. No explanation given and hours on website and app wrong.

I order from this place a lot and mostly when I pay 50p for marshmallows, I don't get them. I didn't get it again for this order.

Visited mid morning in group of three. Many four seater tables had been occupied by the laptop brigade spreading themselves over the tables whilst partaking in a sole cup of coffee for several hours. We had intended to drink and eat in, but squashed around a small round table didnt seem inviting so we left.

I went into store and was served by leandra. She was very helpful and kind. She was quick to make my drink. Very pleasant exporence

Leandra served me very well and quickly, I liked what I saw and the way I was served. I would definitely come back.

All tables were blocked with people working on laptops. Tables for 4 were accommodated by a person who was working on laptop. Nowhere to sit. Would have stayed to eat but couldn't get table. Counted roughly 8 tables of working people with more seats than needed.

Every day I drink coffee and I am very well served by two friendly women Leandra & Andreia every day with good humor and a smile. 😃

Located at the entrance of the collanades complex at the world famous Purley Way in the London borough of Croydon. If you like Costa's food and drink you won't be dissatisfied.

I love having coffee here, it's quiet, loads of parking spaces, and everyone friendly

I ordered a simple black coffee, and waited for it, 17 minutes later I finally got "my" drink but it was some iced caramel latte or something. I asked for MY drink and the employee took it back and told me to leave. Without my coffee. Without my money.

Poor internet in this day and age? Way too over priced. Would suggest supporting a local business instead. Plus if you are working from there, a second over the time allowance and you get a £60 fine.

Orders a mocha gets given warm brown water, goes back in to the store to get a new one. SOMEHOW ITS WORSE. no Costa seems to be any good on a Sunday

The worst coffee which I ever tried in costa

It says 10pm they shut and I dragged my friend out for the 2 for £4 deal on cakes because we wanted them and they were shut. Like update your opening times it's not hard. Plus lights on and nothing. Like these delicious cakes need us. Grrr

The time in google is until 22:00 ,we 3 people went 6 pm closed … waiter start cleaning and closed shop floor(but giving drinks friends) waiter said you can order at drive thru went there they said only for cars refused to take my order,such a waste of time.

Staff were not rude but not very polite either. Frappe wa okay but I have had better. I know it's croydon but smiles and manners really go a long way!

I don't mean to be harsh with 4 stars, it's just there are so many great coffee shops around and the latte isn't anything special - a big glass of milk with a shot of coffee chucked in. The toasted sandwiches taste artificial so actually maybe I should be scoring it a 3 star. That said, plenty of parking, it's got nice decor and the staff are friendly. I'd come back for convenience rather than making it a destination.

Costa coffee Colonnades is a very well located caffeine wake-up place popular with motorists, folk from the Nuffield gym after effort, traffic going into work in town or needing a boost for a journey south or around the M25. The large car park is big enough to provide spaces on most days and there is a drive-through for busy folk. Very good. Still speedy even when the traffic queue gets heavy and walk-in customers are peaking. I think the staff deserve particular recognition for keeping two streams of business served efficiently: drive-thru & walk-ins. Congratulations to Manager Andrei and friendly staff Joanna, Linka, Leandra, Cassandra, Ella, Edita, Nemara, Alexandra, Rachel & Hugo. All superb and helpful serving to my table because they know I'm disabled. Love it so much I visit daily.....

Quiet Tuesday afternoon just before closing. Lovely cappuccino and almond pastry.

Good food and nice place to sit and study. Sometimes can get a bit busy, making it loud and a bit longer wait but staff are nice and there is usually tables available

Had to request refund due to missing pink lemonade

Says online opens at 5, got here at 5:30 shut, very rude employee walking around outside watched me check both doors and said nothing, when I asked why it wasn’t open he grunted at me opens at 6, went out of my door way to get here

Of course there is missing a double chock cookie. Even not worth to ask for a refund 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 I ordered a lot of cookies from different Costa Coffees and something as a cookie always is missing. I lost of lot of money and of course no one of Costa Coffees refunds.

Service was brilliant. Shame the coffee tasted like absolutely garbage, burnt and bitter coffee and the milk wasn't steamed properly.

Drive through was empty so in and out, just the way I like it.

I enjoy the food and drinks but it can be very cold on there, especially in the winter and the toilets are rarely clean. The overall standards of cleanliness are not great.

Nice enough inside, but the drive-thru was closed and it caused a certain amount of frustration in the car park. Very sad to see how rude and petty some people can be.

Dirty, drab, dire. Staff were friendly. Toilet was in a state. Coffee was lukewarm.

I wanted to try the Terry’s orange hot chocolate and so placed my order inside the coffee shop. Firstly, none of the cakes were correctly labelled and so it proved difficult to decipher what they were or their cost and secondly the staff just seemed a bit disorganised and all over the place. This is a shame because this is such a busy location. I finally got my drink and took it back to my car where I took my first sip. It was luke warm. I didn’t bother going back inside and just took it home and heated it up in the microwave. The drink it’s quite nice to be fair but it really should be served ‘hot’.

I'm more a Nero's fan, but tbh if I can't get to Nero, this is the only Costa I'll go to. So there you have it!

I have a very bad experience with that stuff this morning. I’ve ordered and small vanilla latte. The payment was with a voucher before she make the coffee ask her. Can you please make it with oat milk that was the whole thing and she asked me to pay the 45p extra charge for what she didn’t make the coffee yet If she was making the coffee and t returned back to them. That’s fine. I will agree but she didn’t have the milk ready yet and I have to pay the 45p extra, which is ridiculous better staff Starbucks

Excellent service, staff are very friendly and attentive! Serves as my regular retreat as I am a coffee fanatic, and I am pleased to say I’ll continue to come here! Please keep up the great service 👍

Beware - they’ve changed their shop opening hours to 7am-7.30pm Mon-Sat and 8am-7.30pm Sunday. The opening hours are shown are for the drive-thru section

Very nice spot, clean, with staff that seemed focused and worked fast. The music was nice too and though it’s in a fairly busy spot, I didn’t feel rushed in anyway, I guess most people use the drive-through.

Standard Costa selling everything you would expect. Service was a bit slow but the manager stepped in to speed things up. Coffee tasted good. Food was ok, a little expensive. It has a constant flow of customer coming in and out. Big glass front makes it feel light and airy. Toilets were clean to a reasonable standard.

Well, I didn't get a chance to hands on Costa's brilliant Chai Latte, as it was pretty busy, and we are almost on timer. But everyone knows Costa is the best in terms of cuppa coffee.

Had some terrible Costa hot chocolate in my day, but this was by far the worse I've ever had the misfortune of drinking. It was barely tepid, tasted of absolutely nothing - dishwater probably tastes better. Oh well, live and learn. Probably would not go here again Hopefully others have better drinks than I had, I sincerely hope so.

Coffee is fine for a chain restaurant, but does occasionally taste burnt or sour. Which leads back to badly balanced coffee. But it does the job so cant complain too badly

Only go here because nothing else is open but its painful every time. The drive thru staff give the impression customers are just disrupting their day, they frequently get orders wrong, are monosyllabic at best and slam the window shut as soon as possible. Last week abandoned drive thru and went inside instead due to length of queue only to see staff by the drive thru window on mobile phone.

Opening hours are definitely incorrect online. Just went to get coffee and it's closed. Sign on door says closes at 18:00 everyday. Please update your hours online.

I received M&S macaroni cheese in Costa Coffee bag!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is totally unacceptable

This is by far the best Costa in Croydon thanks to the helpful staff and the fact that it’s got a very active drive-thru. It’s open early hours, which is very useful.

Ample parking and nice chill out zone. Car park can get a bit busy at time

Always quick and efficient. Drive through is prone to congestion, but they do seem to be able to churn through the orders. Nice atmosphere inside the cafe.

Good experience. Hats off to staff who rescued my electronics that I left behind and kept it safe.

The lids were not placed on the drinks fully so the drink was spilt in the bag. Both drinks only being half the cup full. Terrible

We went to the drive through and the queue was small so we decided to go ahead and grab some a drinks. There were 4 cars in front of us and it still took 25 minutes to order and get our drinks. When we came around the corner, the staff were just chatting in the window so no wonder drinks weren’t coming out!! The car in front was waiting quite a while and then they only had one drink on order!! Drive through should mean speedy service but this was shockingly slow with no apology for the wait.

You serve your toasties shockingly hot like way too hot ! I was greeted with a blister for valentines day.

No one can go wrong with a brand. Costa keeps up high standards. Very busy though, but bearable when you are aerved with freshly brewed coffee.
