Poor show dirty tables food & cups full tables outside blowing litter all over the outside area come on sort it out

Great drive through service from Leandra & Andreia !! Been a few times now and each time we get served by them they have a great energy, always smiling ! Thank you both and Thank you Costa.

Service was brilliant. Shame the coffee tasted like absolutely garbage, burnt and bitter coffee and the milk wasn't steamed properly.

Drive through was empty so in and out, just the way I like it.

I enjoy the food and drinks but it can be very cold on there, especially in the winter and the toilets are rarely clean. The overall standards of cleanliness are not great.

Nice enough inside, but the drive-thru was closed and it caused a certain amount of frustration in the car park. Very sad to see how rude and petty some people can be.

Costa coffee Colonnades is a very well located caffeine wake-up place popular with motorists, folk from the Nuffield gym after effort, traffic going into work in town or needing a boost for a journey south or around the M25. The large car park is big enough to provide spaces on most days and there is a drive-through for busy folk. Very good. Still speedy even when the traffic queue gets heavy and walk-in customers are peaking. I think the staff deserve particular recognition for keeping two streams of business served efficiently: drive-thru & walk-ins. Congratulations to Manager Andrei and friendly staff Joanna, Linka, Leandra, Cassandra, Ella, Edita, Nemara, Alexandra, Rachel & Hugo. All superb and helpful serving to my table because they know I'm disabled. Love it so much I visit daily.....

Popped for a meeting so ideal for that purpose.

Dirty, drab, dire. Staff were friendly. Toilet was in a state. Coffee was lukewarm.

All ways tip so the sugar is put in the drive thru coffee.

I'm more a Nero's fan, but tbh if I can't get to Nero, this is the only Costa I'll go to. So there you have it!

Food? What some rubber cheese and ham sandwich. No thanks and a large cold coffee is always a 5 star experience worth over a tenna......another greedy chain that values nother bar there profits.

I have a very bad experience with that stuff this morning. I’ve ordered and small vanilla latte. The payment was with a voucher before she make the coffee ask her. Can you please make it with oat milk that was the whole thing and she asked me to pay the 45p extra charge for what she didn’t make the coffee yet If she was making the coffee and t returned back to them. That’s fine. I will agree but she didn’t have the milk ready yet and I have to pay the 45p extra, which is ridiculous better staff Starbucks

Excellent service, staff are very friendly and attentive! Serves as my regular retreat as I am a coffee fanatic, and I am pleased to say I’ll continue to come here! Please keep up the great service 👍

Beware - they’ve changed their shop opening hours to 7am-7.30pm Mon-Sat and 8am-7.30pm Sunday. The opening hours are shown are for the drive-thru section

Very nice spot, clean, with staff that seemed focused and worked fast. The music was nice too and though it’s in a fairly busy spot, I didn’t feel rushed in anyway, I guess most people use the drive-through.

Standard Costa selling everything you would expect. Service was a bit slow but the manager stepped in to speed things up. Coffee tasted good. Food was ok, a little expensive. It has a constant flow of customer coming in and out. Big glass front makes it feel light and airy. Toilets were clean to a reasonable standard.

Well, I didn't get a chance to hands on Costa's brilliant Chai Latte, as it was pretty busy, and we are almost on timer. But everyone knows Costa is the best in terms of cuppa coffee.

Had some terrible Costa hot chocolate in my day, but this was by far the worse I've ever had the misfortune of drinking. It was barely tepid, tasted of absolutely nothing - dishwater probably tastes better. Oh well, live and learn. Probably would not go here again Hopefully others have better drinks than I had, I sincerely hope so.

Coffee is fine for a chain restaurant, but does occasionally taste burnt or sour. Which leads back to badly balanced coffee. But it does the job so cant complain too badly

Only go here because nothing else is open but its painful every time. The drive thru staff give the impression customers are just disrupting their day, they frequently get orders wrong, are monosyllabic at best and slam the window shut as soon as possible. Last week abandoned drive thru and went inside instead due to length of queue only to see staff by the drive thru window on mobile phone.

Opening hours are definitely incorrect online. Just went to get coffee and it's closed. Sign on door says closes at 18:00 everyday. Please update your hours online.

This is by far the best Costa in Croydon thanks to the helpful staff and the fact that it’s got a very active drive-thru. It’s open early hours, which is very useful.

Ample parking and nice chill out zone. Car park can get a bit busy at time

Always quick and efficient. Drive through is prone to congestion, but they do seem to be able to churn through the orders. Nice atmosphere inside the cafe.

My family and I had a terrible experience in this store this morning because of a very rude staff member who could not take the order right

We went to the drive through and the queue was small so we decided to go ahead and grab some a drinks. There were 4 cars in front of us and it still took 25 minutes to order and get our drinks. When we came around the corner, the staff were just chatting in the window so no wonder drinks weren’t coming out!! The car in front was waiting quite a while and then they only had one drink on order!! Drive through should mean speedy service but this was shockingly slow with no apology for the wait.

You serve your toasties shockingly hot like way too hot ! I was greeted with a blister for valentines day.

No one can go wrong with a brand. Costa keeps up high standards. Very busy though, but bearable when you are aerved with freshly brewed coffee.

As a chain they have their standard. The espresso is not really good and the pastry are not the best and a bit expensive. The service was good

This Costa is TERRIBLE if I could give 0 I would It says it opens at 5am I’ve been going for the past week and it is NEVER open at 5am and the phone line DOESNT work either so either change it or stop false advertising and wasting peoples time!!!!!!!

Nice Costa Coffee branch. Imposing building right at the entry of the leisure park. Toilet facilities are satisfactory. However, it is listed as 8pm at their closing time on the Costa Coffee website. I visited this branch on December 14th and staff were already telling customers to leave at 6pm. I was confused to know why. Very confusing and just had to point this out.

Every time I come here I'm always met with rude staff. Each time I'm at the drive thru I'm handed my food and drink but I have to ask for a bag, serviettes, sugar and stirrers. Each time I ask, the staff roll their eyes like they're doing me a favour. They keep changing the opening times, one day its 5am, then it's 6, then 7 and now 8am. I checked on Google their opening times which said opens at 5am and is currently open...I drove there at 7:30 and went up to the door only for all 4 members of staff to see me at the door but constantly ignore me until I knocked on the glass door. Eventually one girl shouted through the glass door to tell me they open at 8am as its NYE...why not update Google?!?!? The only poster was at the drive thru part so if u wanted to eat inside, no one would have known. They're rude and very unhelpful and there are always flies buzzing around. We ended up going to faithful old McDonald's

Plenty of space to park your car the service is good and there is a variety of different food and cakes worth a try

Awful 'cookie cutter' building design and placement. No space to manoeuvre between seating and very awkward disabled access. Staff are nice and as efficient as can be.

Wonderful friendly staff. The place was quite busy and sadly there was a fly landing on almost every cake. Opting for a wrapped sandwich instead, as soon as we told a staff member she was very quick to remedy the situation. Would visit again as good location but I hope something is done to save the cakes! 🤣

Staff are good but never have any oat milk. This site doesn’t even sell the chicken and bacon toasties!! Ridiculous for such a large Costa branch Will be avoiding in the future

Delicious coffee and that’s the only advantage of this place. Completely unsuitable for mothers with prams or the disabled. difficult to walk between chairs. dirty dishes on the tables. Moreover, I couldn't even stir my coffee because I got a dirty teaspoon with pieces of dried chocolate 🤢. Disgusting

This is a good drive thru, used it a few times, varying times and therein lies the problem! Good branch but getting out if it during a lunch-time is a nightmare! I know the road layout is probably not costa's fault but that of the landlord - on entry, you have drive round a mini roundabout (which you are discouraged from doing on a public highway) and a couple of times folk coming from in front don't think you're right indicator means just that! Then exiting costa there is a left fork and a right turn (where the majority of drivers want to go) so at peak times that exit is blocked - nightmare!!!!!!!!!

Ridiculous layout - worse if you're disabled as there isn't a ramp or an accessible door by the disabled parking bays. (Assuming the petrolhead chavs haven't parked in the spots!)

Staff are not friendly at all. Final tipping point to write a review was tonight. I was handed 2 drinks by a lady who didn't even put the lid on one of them properly. The drink spilt over my clothes, car seat and seatbelt. I asked for some tissues and said the lid was not put on properly and she literally did not say anything as she handed me the tissues, not even an apology. Appalling manners and customer service. Avoid this drive through.

I visited today to find the place clean and tidy. The staff were amenable and prompt to discharge their duties. Plenty of seats available at this time, 4-5pm, with people sitting around comfortably relaxed. The ambiance was ideal. The food was of the usual standard one expects from Costa Cafes. I’m invariably left happy and satisfied to spend a few hours doing some work here in the colonnade Costa. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Quick coffee while son bounces at oxygen. Place was quick to serve but most inside tables where messy but it was dry so sat outside and watch the car park mayhem use the drive thou don't park unless your shopping here

First time ever I'm rating 2 stars the lady who served me was really polite and nice but the ham and cheese toast wasn't even toasted properly and was cold .. I didnt complain .. also it wasn't busy and nobody even offered to help me with the tray even tho I had my little one with Me without the buggy.

Lime and coconut cake reminded me cleaning the toilet, seriously the taste was horrible it tasted lime cleaner.

I love this place. The staff are amazing & the service is quick. However the times on this are wrong. Drove here just now as it says closes at 8:30pm but they actually closed at 8pm.

I regularly use the drive-through and order a drink for myself and a “puppuccino” for my dog. Catia and the team are absolutely awesome - Catia is professional, cheerful and my dog loves her. Not in the least because she gets dog treats as well as her “drink” My favourite Costa!

I had coffee there. I was not altogether happy about the cleanliness. My table had Crumbs on it The hand sanitizer by the door was empty..I therefore resorted to using my own sanitizer.

Very fast service for Click and Collect. Good coffee and cold drinks are also quality. Good customer service by the shop staff. Drive thru useful for everyone whos crossing by Purley. Car park also available and it open till 9pm also. 5 stars

Absolutely ridiculous queue 4 ppl attending in till but super slow. I was queuing up for 30min, absolutely ridiculous and the lady in the till ugly attitude towards customers.

Nice interiors after the recent redecor. Staff is getting better and more efficient than that is witnessed in the past few months.

They did not take there time and they don’t care about how the food/drink comes out they just rush it to serve more customers and make more money. I bought a coffee and it was rushed so the milk had been burnt. Additionally, I got a ham and cheese toastie there was hardly any cheese and the ham was on one side of the toastie literally falling out of it, the toast had also been burnt on the bottom it was basically black! The cutlery was all dirty and has marks on it like it hadn’t been cleaned for ages. All the Costa’s I have been to this is the worst one by far! Do not go here!

Probably the worst Costa I've been in. Slow service, staff looked liked they are stressed and hardly communicate with you. Tables were dirty and the tray return area was full. And to top it off the Americano was luke warm.

I work in Gatwick, I pass there to get a coffee around 05:20 am, they are never open, should change their timing. Adding 2 miles to my journey costs money. Terrible

Had a frostino from here and was not the nicest and the staff were not very friendly

Nice modern looking Costa with its groovy sloping roof and new interiors. I bagged myself an oat cappuccino, a bag of popcorn and sat on the seats outside to enjoy the view of many cars coming in to pick kids up and drop them off at Nando's, McDonalds and Oxygen. Good times.

Decent Costa but despite opening hours advised until 22:00 you can only access as a pedestrian up until 18:00, after this you will receive no service unless you are going via the drive thru.
