Great place for dinner, food is spot on, very family friendly. Passing through from Nottingham and couldn’t have found a better place to eat. Great atmosphere, my 5 year old daughter absolutely loves this pub.

We had lunch & it was really tastie! Service was great, Isablla served us & she was brilliant! Well done, great Pub Grub!

I just had a party here with 60/70 people and I cannot recommend more. The management team and staff were superb and so attentive. Everyone commented on how good the buffet was, the atmosphere was great and we had an absolutely memorable night!

I just recently had a party at The Treehouse with between 60-70 people. Aron, Aden and the team made us feel incredibly welcome, everything had been organised fantastically, there was plenty of food and the team were so attentive. I had people travel here from Ireland and wanted the night to be memorable and the team at the Treehouse ensured this was the case. I would highly recommend The Treehouse as a venue for large or small groups- everyone commented on how good the buffet was which had a great selection and included great vegetarian options! We were able to hire in a DJ and dance the night away with our friends. Thanks again to all at the Treehouse

First time here. Came for the Sunday roast as the price looked very reasonable. We came at 4pm and it was empty which was a little surprising. We ordered two adult chicken roasts and one children's beef roast. Whrn they came, the portion size was massive! Couldn't finish it all. All well cooked. The beef was especially soft and tender. Lovely gravy with great flavour. For desert we had a vegan chocolate cake and vegan vanilla ice cream asnmy child has a dairy allergy. It's rare to find vegan desserts so this was an added bonus. They both tasted great too. Well worth a visit on a Sunday. We will be back.

Nothing Short Of Superb! Imagine the perfect pub for a night out with friends. Then double it and dial it all the way up to 11. That's The Tree House. A superb pub that I recommend with total confidence! The bar? Very well stocked with something for everyone. The food? Well prepared, tasty and satisfying, with all tastes and dietary preferences catered for. The decor and ambience? Very pleasant, the sort of place where you can relax and unwind in comfortable yet uncluttered surroundings. But the best thing of all about The Tree House is the incredibly high standard of customer service and their 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude. Our server, Aaron, was perfection personified: highly professional, warm and welcoming, friendly, helpful, efficient and informative. My friends and I could not have been looked after any better. Thank you, Aaron, for helping to make a great night even better! A solid 5 star pub that takes pride in welcoming all customers and looking after them properly.

Overpriced for the standard & quality of what is served. Cannot recommend this restaurant. The cauliflower cheese side for £5.50 which was inedible and the server cleared the plates with it almost untouched and didn’t ask why. The spinach ravioli was a strange concoction. Literally a bowl of tomato soup with some raviolis in with two spears of asparagus and a naan bread. Fish & chips hard to do badly except it was. The fish was ok but cooked to within an inch of its life and the chips could have used another few minutes cooking. Plate had a smear of mushy peas & tartar sauce which would have been better served separately. Do yourself a favour do not visit this restaurant.

Honestly look amazing was good but once i food came outside the files was attacking my plate it was terrible everyone in the garden was brushing them away I don't know wats going on there but it needs sorting immediately I couldnt eat my roast coz it made me feel sick so was a wasted meal but honestly it look great but files have swapped in there garden pity coz it's such a beautiful garden guys get it sorted ASAP

August 2024 - sadly, I have to update my review. I am a regular and it’s disappointing to see that the food has gone downhill. We had the veggie raviolis, which were not good and very pricey for the amount served. Also had the vegan chocolate cake, which tasted shop bought (very sweet and tasted full of chemicals). It’s a shame to see this as the Tree House is a lovely pub with friendly staff, and previously had a really wonderful menu! Won’t be returning often if the food stays that bad… — Really good quality food and friendly staff! Had the halloumi burger with sweet potatoes fries, and it was one of the best halloumi burgers I had in a while - lots of layers, tasty and really filling. Sticky toffee pudding was delicious too. Lots of vegan options too. Great local pub in South Croydon!

Despite a recent change in staff, Tree House maintains its excellent customer service. While the food quality has diminished , the cocktails, particularly the Bramble, are exceptional—I wish I could give you 6 stars.

To say that I am in absolute shock of what I experienced today is a complete understatement honestly! I have visited this place on many occasions in the past and it is literally like a complete different place now! The venue used to be clean comfortable and very inviting by staff. The staff used to be friendly and very attentive, would take your order from your table and check if everything was ok with your order at some point! Today I was horrified to walk into an environment that was extremely disorganised, the staff were very laid back and engrossed in talking and joking amount themselves behind the bar as if they were at home chilling out together. I received no greetings as I entered and waited to talk to someone about my reservation. I ended up finding my reserved table by myself. As I waited for someone to come and serve me I noticed that people were getting up and going to order at the bar. I was then advised that I had to go to the bar to order so waited in a long queue to finally order. When I went to order I was first advised that the dish I had chosen was not available as it had not been defrosted to later find out that it was in fact available! The starter (prawns) I received was appalling and tasted nothing as I had remembered it to be. It was overcooked and the dish was burnt and dry with what was meant to be the garlic sauce it was meant to be in. At some point I asked a staff member for Tabasco sauce to which he assured me he would get however he never returned. I waited forever for my main and when I looked inside I just saw it sitting there in front of the kitchen waiting for it to be brought out to me whilst staff talked amongst themselves. My main I couldn’t even finish as it tasted sour, cold and extremely dry! I was better off rumbling through the bin outside for scraps of food, it was that bad. As I approached the bar again to discuss my disappointment with my order I looked into the open kitchen and was horrified. It was absolutely foul back there. It was extremely dirty and looked like a dump site with flys flying around everywhere and around the food! I felt sick immediately. The whole place stunk of sewers and when my sister asked where the smell was coming from a staff member explained that the smell was coming from the dish washer!! Honestly I could go on with outlining the many things I experienced today however I would be here forever!! I don’t have a clue what had happened to this place and why it has gone down he so rapidly and miserably but it is such a real shame as I have old fond memories of this place and had really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. I’m not sure if there has been a change of management or something but I most definitely will never be returning to this nightmare of a place again! My stomach has been feeling funny since I left a few hours ago!!!

Booked a table outside for a hot and sunny Saturday. There were not enough umbrellas to shade all the tables but got lucky and nabbed one before they all went. Service at the bar was fab but sat at table in the garden it was another story. Maybe it was a day when there were insufficient staff but it seemed one person was doing most of the service. As things got busier, another person appeared, but I think they were missing a trick and could have sold a lot more drinks by being attentive.

Went for a Sunday lunch, big portions and lovely food. Staff was amazing, very hands on especially when one of us was choking at one point they were promptly on it. Couldnt thank them enough. Will definitely be back

I’ve been here many times, the place has gone right down hill. Walked in, nobody in, nobody at the bar. Took 20 mins for someone to attend to me, it was the chef. The barman walked in, quite clearly been out to pick up drugs, he was off his face. I told him to his face, he walked off uncomfortably. Avoid! Terrible experience.

I recently booked a 30th birthday party here Aaron the manager was excellent very accommodating and very professional, the birthday girl in question had an amazing time I definitely would recommend. Having any events at this venue, the staff are really friendly I'm very polite I love this place

Lovely place. Food however was disappointing. I had the calamari and my boyfriend had the shrimp, both overcooked and chewy.

The service however was nice even though the guy was working on his own, he made sure he attended to us but we had to go to the till to order dessert and some drinks which was ok for us. They also played our music genre of choice when we asked as it was really quite. This place has so much more potential if they take feedback and make changes to their food.

This pub was a nice surprise and looked and felt modern with dear heads made of board on the walls and decor done tastefully. It was a wednesday night so obviously quit. The menu displayed photos of some nice food. I chose grilled prawns based on what the photo presented and received prawns out of the shell in some sauce. I sent it back and said I would have fries. We paid up front and wasn't offered a refund for the difference. Once I said, there were no issues and refund was done right away. I went toilet and two other ladies wondering where toilet tissue was. I went and asked and was apologised to and given tissue right away. This is a nice place in a good location and I guess a little attention to detail on the least busiest evenings would go a long way. Not sure what weekends are like but I would like to try this place again and hopefully get the grilled prawns advertised and not the substitute. Thanks guys.

Lovely pub venue to host our 40th Anniversary school reunion party. Space for all guests, good seating & dining space. Did not get to try food, but drinks were great! Staff and manager always on hand to help out. We got sparklers for our cake which was a very special memorable touch to the night. Great playlist, requests taken by staff who walked around and asked all guests. Music not too loud, therefore we were all able to converse well!

I went to the tree house for the first time and it was an amazing atmosphere, Upon walking in, my sister and my niece were greeted by a lovely smile and amazing service by a young lady named Yasmin who made us feel very welcome great service great give would definitely come again, food smells amazing I'll have to try it next time I stop in. Been many times as we live close by, Sunday roasts have always been great, however, today it was awful. Not sure if they’ve got a new chef. Food was cold, beef and pork tough, not enough gravy. It is very dog friendly and the staff are very nice. Often go in for a drink but I certainly won’t be going back for food. Shame because it’s used to be great.

Wow! the best food I've had in a while great portions worth the money.lovely staff and they catered to us really well.i sat on a chair that was a bit low and a lovely guy came over to give me a beautiful cushion so I was very impressed with service here.thankyoy we will be definitely making it there regularly from now on.thankyou so much.

A lovely pub with a great atmosphere, Sal was fantastic and really made the experience, was so friendly and polite. It was a lovely interior and we didn’t sit outside but the beer garden looked great! Food was good and both food and drinks were reasonable prices!

I just celebrated my 50th at the Treehouse. They were amazing. The staff were so kind and accommodating. They were happy to play my music and the room was beautiful. Really impressed

We celebrated a big family birthday in the downstairs restaurant area this weekend. The service was great, from the very start of the booking process to the end of the event! Aaron and Joe always friendly, accommodating, and quick to respond. The team on the night were also great, it was a very warm and welcoming atmosphere :). The room was lovely and we were able to put up decorations beforehand and store our cakes in the kitchen upstairs, which was really helpful. Thank you to all the team for looking after us so well, we had a great time!!

Big thankyou to Joseph and the team at Tree House, they made our birthday very special, allowed us to bring cake and decorations, played our own music and more! Without the amazing staff it would not have been such a successful night! One of the ladies even helped us decorate and pumped balloons which was very helpful. We will be back again for food as we didn't have enough time to eat there but we are really looking forward to coming again!

Had a great time at the tree house. In particular, Yasmin was so nice and accommodating to our needs. One of my friends has a hearing aid but Yasmin signed everything we needed. She went over and above!

I went there not knowing what to expect, Croydon South End is not my end of town. Walked in, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. If the truth be told I was there for the open mic. Gem of a pub. One of the best veggie roasts I've had, which is surprising as I usually find nut roasts disappointing. Meat roasts and croquettes were delicious too. Friendly service, friendly to dogs, will be back. *Edit: The coffee wasn't great though, pretty sure it was instant.

I spent the first part of my leaving do at The Tree House and had a fantastic time. Great drinks and excellent service from Joseph behind the bar! We were clearly enjoying ourselves as I ended up forgetting my phone & leaving it behind😲🙉 Joseph kindly kept it safe until I returned the next day - again amazing service!

The Tree House was selected for Christmas lunch for our Deaf group. Although the Tree House does not normally open till 4 p.m., Aden the assistant manager kindly agreed to open the restaurant at lunchtime especially for us as some members do not like to travel home in dark. He and his staff arranged tables to suit us so that everyone in each of four tables could see each other for easy communication. Twenty four of us came and enjoyed the lunch on Monday 11th December. Food and service were excellent. Many thanks to Aden and his team.

Second year for Xmas we go to the Treehouse and it’s the best decision we have ever made. They are amazing Every single request we had, they catered for it. They were kind, patient, friendly and the food is just delicious!!!! Nothing to fault and my group of 12 loved it. Will be spending every Xmas there. I love it. Also my brother is gluten and dairy free and they catered for him without him missing out on any faves! Amazing!!

I came for my brother and his gfs birthday. I asked for a dessert with a bday message on the plate very late and they did it without an issue and even got a little candle to blow out. It was so sweet. Aaron and Hayden were so lovely, really made the night special. My brother and sindy were so happy. The atmosphere in the venue is such a vibe. Will definitely come back again xxx

I had my Christmas dinner with my family there today and I couldn’t be happier. The staff were amazing and gave great service. I heard one of them say to a table next to us that their oven had broken down today and they honestly never let on anything went wrong, the food was delicious and they dealt with it showing no signs of stress! The chefs worked non stop to make sure food came out in a timely manner considering how busy they were and the atmosphere was so festive and warm. Thank you everyone at the Treehouse for making my family’s Christmas wonderful!

christmas Dinner was booked for 5 people 3.30 still sitting 4.40 still no starter came 17.10 The Manager came to our table at 18,05 to inform us the OVEN had broken down would be another 20 minutes.It came uncooked no Turkey was awful this christmas Day no cost £55.00 per head bill after paying deposit of 150 they presented the bill of 146.00 which we said Noway but they locked us in until gave them £100 Cash

The first course was ok but there was not much cooking involved. The main involved cooking but again .. not much cooking involved…. The chicken and bacon were raw. The dessert was good but what can go wrong with heating up sticky toffee pudding? Anyway, without being too negative.. I hope this place improves….

Went here for a work Christmas do. Attentive staff and great quality food. Also a good variety of drinks available. The interior was 'decked-out' for the holidays, and there was plenty of room. The furniture is sturdy and I am guessing is pure oak. There is a rear garden attached and the facilities were clean and well maintained. Would recommend this place highly, and would definitely book again. I was not able to get pictures of the whole of the 3 course meal ordered as the food barely touched the table before wolfed down, it was so good. The dish pictured is Honey Roast Parsnip Soup, which was part of the festive set menu.

We had our annual Christmas celebrations at The Treehouse. The staff couldn't do enough for us, we were a group of 34 and it was a busy night for them with it being Christmas but we were so well looked after, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. Will definitely go back. Thank you Treehouse team!

The food and the service are amazing. However there needs to be a way where the servers can get a tip without having to pay cash (because who has cash these days?!)

We had our Christmas Party here on 16/12/24 and Aaron and his team were fantastic! We opted for the buffet menu and I’m glad we did. Value for money, fresh from the kitchen and hot on the plate! The team behind the bar were friendly and I and my team enjoyed the fact we could banter with them and they kept up with us. Aaron, thank you! Thank you for helping us enjoy a much needed night out! I’m not sure you’ll ever understand just how much we all appreciated it!

We recently had our company Christmas Party with The Treehouse and I would absolutely recommend it. Aaron and Aden were so calm even though the venue was fully booked and the service was incredible. The food was delicious and they couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely be coming back here for future occasions.

A very warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellently prepared, good quality food and lots of it. The staff are the definition of hospitality "the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests" I will certainly be returning. A real gem.

Wow, such a nice place to have the Sunday roast. I love the music, the service, and their food. I am in a group of six, and everybody is having a great time. I also like the beers, Level head is just the best. Joseph of the crew in particular has been very helpful with his recommendations.

About 25 of us went to a work Christmas meal at The Treehouse in Croydon. It was really nice. We had preordered our meals and I had frankly no recollection of what I had chosen. Luckily - the Treehouse staff were totally up to speed. They were very organised and meals were delivered promptly without a hiccup. My food was delicious. It was tasty, hot and nicely presented. The staff were all really nice too. They couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. So all in all 10/10. I’d deffo go back.

Had our Christmas dinner there and all the staff (especially the manager, Aaron) went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Food was lovely as well - especially the warm goats cheese starter!

Great night celebrating Christmas. The service was brilliant and very quick. The staff were very attentive, the ambience was very festive and fun. The only tiny negative was that the turkey was a bit dry and cut very thick but apart from that I'd definitely go again and would recommend it as a place to eat and drink.

A huge thank you to both Aaron and Aden for taking the hassle out of organising our Christmas work meal! Their communication was excellent throughout. On the evening it was really easy to order drinks at the bar, who were super efficient, so there was no hassle trying to work out who drunk what! The food was superb, everyone was really impressed. Probably one of the best Christmas dinners I’ve eaten (except my own of course 🤣). Everything was cooked and presented to a really high standard!! The one slight negative was the main meals not arriving together. We were a table of 14, so this is always tricky. If we had been a group of 8 it would have been flawless. However, the staff team kept us informed about how long it would take and everyone seemed happy to wait for great food, rather than rushed mediocre food. Thanks to the whole team for a wonderful evening and a very happy Christmas to you all. 🥂🎉

Attended work Christmas party on Friday 01/12. Was going well until the desert when I was given a desert which was not dairy free despite double checking. Due to an adverse reaction I had to leave early and my plans for the rest of the evening were ruined.

My and my woman elect had a wonderful time, Joseph made us several Gimlet cocktails despite them not being on the menu. Great pub, great atmosphere, I would highly recommend to everyone to visit The Treehouse.

We had our first Christmas work party here and it was the perfect choice. The staff were so pleasant and accommodating. The table was all set up beautifully. The food was excellent, not one plate from our group of 17 went back with any food left on it. The staff are so friendly. When booking this venue Aaron was very efficient, replying to my emails back and forth and catering to all our requirements. I certainly would recommend this venue and i will certainly be going back there again whether its just me and my partner or a family meal out.
