Very nice little pub that serves good food, enjoyed my burger very much!

I've never been in such an unfair karaoke in my life. Three hours and we only got to sing one song when it wasn't even busy at all. There was a lot of favouritism and there was clear jealousy of the people that could sing as the rest sounded atrocious. I'd have rather of spent a night in a mental hospital than a minute in this pub. The pub should be called one flew over the cuckoo's nest.

This wonderful Irish pub located near east Croydon., provided us a joyful experience. I ate may fish'n chips, but none compare with orchard's The attendants were kind end helpful. Thank you all

hit this place as part of the xmas crawl and a nice few in here with music baring with the regulars using it like their living room feeling. decent vibe with good guinness and certainly lively with things guaranteed to get interesting as the evening wore on...watch what you say and who you say it to tho...lol

Delicious Sunday roast! You can tell everyone here is a regular. It felt like a really nice little community.

The beef and gravy pie was fantastic. The mash and gravy were fantastic!

We have used the Orchard regularly for functions the staff are the best, food excellent and I really can't more highly recommend it. I don't usually write reviews but the Orchard is outstanding.

I really like this place. Proper boozer where everyone is welcome. Karaoke night on Sunday is my fave!!!

Nice, old fashioned Irish pub. Perfectly friendly atmosphere, attentive staff and good pool table. Show all sports on big tv’s, which as a Brentford fan was great. Only gripe was lack of draft ales available. Didn’t try the food, but all in all, a decent old style pub.

Stopped in for a cider. Nice enough pub with indoor and outdoor seating. Not much of a variety for ciders so we left after one drink.

We visited on a Sunday. Had a gorgeous Sunday roast in the garden. Food was amazing (proper home cooked yum!). And lots of it! And reasonably priced. It was lovely sitting outside in the sun. Music from jukebox plays outside so you get to hear what you’ve put on. Perfect. Later on we went inside and karaoke was on. Really friendly pub and staff, Martin the manager was great. We will definitely be back!

Wir besuchten das Restaurant aufgrund der Nähe zu unserem Apartment und der vielen positiven Bewertungen. Der Service war rau aber freundlich und das Bier schnell gezapft. Hungrig entschieden wir uns ein paar Burger zu probieren. Die waren leider nicht vorrätig. Wir stiegen um auf Steak und Cannelloni. Nach kurzem Check der charmanten Bedienung, war auch das leider nicht verfügbar. Also klassisch Fish/Chips/Peas. Nach wenigen Minuten wurde uns für Fish and Chips das go gegeben. Leider ohne Peas. Das Essen war okay und der weitere Verlauf des Abends eine Erfahrung der besonderen Art. Als meine Frau draußen eine Zigarette rauchte, wurde sie Zeuge eines sehr interessanten Gesprächs. Ein glatzköpfiger Engländer mit den hier durchschnittlichen 120 Kilo erzählte der Bedienung wie groß sein P..... sei und wie sich eine Frau deshalb übergeben musste. Daraufhin übergab sich die Bedienung, die uns kurz vorher das Essen zubereitet hatte. Vermutlich war sie schwanger oder hatte einen Infekt. Wer weiß das schon. Vermutlich bin ich morgen schlauer. Die Sterne gibt es nicht fürs Essen, sondern für dieses authentische Erlebnis eines Pubs im englischen Arbeiterviertel.

A group of us from a local community organisation play darts and have a pub lunch twice a month here. The landlord Martin makes us feel welcome, caters to our needs and makes his pub readily available to his local community ,irrespective of the age group. The lunchtime meals are nicely prepared, unfussy but wholesome and there are a variety of hot and cold beverages to purchase. Well worth a visit if you are a community group looking for new, clean and accessible premises with a few extra frills.

Fomos muito bem atendidas. Pedimos o famoso filho and chips. Prato bem servido. O pub fica próximo à estação.

Nice local pub, you can hire one of the function room for an occasion with a paid bar. The staff are friendly. The decor is a bit dated. Not a bad size. Has a beer garden around the back, and a small car park.

I was there on a random weeknight but actually it's a nice pub. It needs a spruce up in the decor and furniture but has a lovely beer garden and very friendly staff

I think the pics speaks for itself! Excellent food friendly staff. Highly recommended and with the added bonus of beautiful cool Guinness.. you won't get the two in you local greasy spoon. Definitely as Arnie would say 'I'll Be Back'

Proper boozer; decent pint of Stella at a sensible(ish) price and a top drawer jukebox.

Fantastic atmosphere with Super Karaoke from an amazing host on both Fridays and Sundays. Food is okay. A little pricey but great staff running this pub.

Myself, sister, dad & his fiancé visited on Sunday 17th April What a lovely pub, the atmosphere was really nice, clean and friendly like pubs used to feel. The landlady Nicole is always welcoming and takes the time to come over to tables to say hello We also had the roast which was exceptional, big portions and quality ingredients and we all left with full tummies. Will definitely vist again thanks again x

Great venue, especially mandys karaoke on a Sunday evening.

Me and my friend stumbled across this pub while looking for a late vegetarian roast dinner. Although they didn’t have a vegi option Nic the bar maid did the best to accommodate us and even sourced some vegi gravy from a a local shop.The roast was really lovely as were all the staff will definitely be back.

They served delicious food, but on weekends they run out early. They have a board of photos of visitors from distant places. The service here is great and reasonable prices

Strolled in to watch an Irish rugby match. Absolutely accomodating staff and great karaoke . Went back for Sunday Roast. What an experience!! Best I've ever tasted since mothers and Yorkie Pud to put Aunt Bessie's to shame. Generous portions. Now a regular local.

Haven't been in this pub for around a few decades. When it was a little on the rough side! I rang up Sunday morning after a friend told me the pub showed GAA and various other sports. Asking a guy now known as Tom if he was showing the London Irish RFC game. He said he would. Arrived at the pub. At the bar unknown to me. Tom seen my LI shirt. And straight away to my embarrassment asked several patrons would they would relocate! What a great guy. To top it all a great treasure in Croydon. Great food. Helpful staff. Definitely my local. Thank you. Only serious issue was LI lost. Great pub. Strongly recommend.

Great place, very friendly service and a nice atmosphere

I was organising a reunion for a number of old colleagues, most of whom are retired and getting on in years. We were looking for a venue close to east Croydon with a room to ourselves. The Orchard fitted the bill perfectly. Tom, the owner, could not have been more helpful in agreeing the menu and making the arrangements was very simple. On the day over two dozen people attended and had a great time. The food was excellent and more than ample (only a few people finished all the courses). The staff were helpful and friendly and the environment absolutely right. I'm already trying to finalise the date for next year's get together and the Orchard will be the venue.

Feeling lazy and ordered my dinner and what a find. Brilliant even down to the Yorkshire pud and crispy roast potatoes. Definitely worth a try and will definitely order again. Well done The Orchard.

Clean, comfortable Irish boozer just around the back of East Croydon station. Great Guinness, friendly, fast service. Big screens for watching sport. Enjoyed it and will definitely go again. And they have Tayto crisps!

Very nice traditional pub. These is jotting fancy just good food normal pub drinks. They have kareoke and some nice events the staff are friendly and there is a decent outdoor area although it was very dirty and not clean.

Primo giorno a Londra, dopo qualche anno. Un po' fuori dalla zona turistica, ma comodo con casa nostra, tipico pub inglese con vasta selezione di birre e stuzzichini. Ordiniamo ham, egg and chips, un quarter pounder con patatine e insalatina, una coca e una pinta di Bluemoon. Hamburger un po' asciutto e prosciutto freddo di frigo, ma il resto non male e bella atmosfera. Consigliato, e penso ritorneremo!
