The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Cathedrals Southwark London

Stopped off here for breakfast during our stay in London for the weekend. Great little friendly coffee bar with a big range of food and drinks. Had the waffles and they were delicious. Mate went more traditional and had a bacon roll. All self service, choose what you want and then paid on for it on. screen.. Then the guys call out your name when the order is ready. We enjoyed it and would happily return and use the franchise again.

My first time in a Crussh and not massively impressed tbh. Wanted something warm and healthy to eat. Expected something like Leon, but what I had was of a lower standard. I ordered the spinach & paneer curry w rice and it tasted of very little indeed, even with added salt. The rice was also flavourless and had been cooked without even any added salt. Disappointing - could do better with a little more attention to flavour and cooking methods. My Matcha latte was really good on the other hand! Perhaps warm food just isn’t their strong point.

Always good, great choices with excellent fillings. Grab a drink and a snack as well. Perfect quick decent snacks

Me dijeron que al visitar Londres, debo probar la comida tradicional británica y el pastel estaba en mi lista de cosas que probar. Tuve mi primer pastel de Mrs. King’s Pies en Borough Market. ¡El cartel en el stand decía que eran pasteles galardonados! Para otros estadounidenses, se pronuncia “pasado - ee.” NO se pronuncia como lo que usan las strippers para decorarse (me corrigió la señora no tan amable que trabaja detrás del mostrador). Estoy feliz de informar que el “pasado - ee” estaba caliente, recién salido del horno, y muy delicioso! Sin embargo, fue el único pastoso que comí mientras estuve en Inglaterra, por lo que no puedo comentar sobre la exactitud de su estatus de ganador del premio. Era como un pastel de pollo, pero con salsa más espesa en el interior y en una forma que se puede comer sin utensilios o incluso un plato. También estoy feliz de informar que la señora no tan amable se calentó conmigo después de un tiempo (esperé 20 minutos para un pasado muy fresco - ee para terminar de hornear y la mantequé durante mi espera).

The worst latte of my life! It tasted like mud. The staff was also horrible. They refused to make my coffee in a normal cup instead of the to go cup, even though they had them (the staff was too annoyed to do the dishes). There were so much rubbish on all of the tables, even though there were like three customers, so they had plenty of time to at least pick up some cups. And the toilet! Ew. Used toilet paper all over the floor everywhere. The whole experience was just tragic and disgusting. Never again.

Great service and beer from the girl in the bar

I was enjoying the peace and quiet in the upstairs section when they started to play loud music, including rap. This is the third Cafe Nero I've visited recently where the music has been too loud. Anyone who wants to listen to music has their own system these days, and it is just annoying. Starbucks seem to get this and have music on low so it's not intrustive.

The restaurant has table service and a great view of the Thames and St Paul’s. Jurate and Elena looked after us brilliantly well and we had a great lunch. There is a great choice of beers and wine, and a good food menu. I enjoyed a glass of Featherdrop sauvignon blanc. Haddock, chips and mushy peas were great, as was rhubarb crumble. A discretionary service charge of 12.5% is included.

great service from our waitress maddy she was very helpful and was very jolly and made the experience very pleasant. additionally the food was very good. i’d highly recommend!

Looks small from outside, opens into a bigger space, and a sneaky beer garden out back. A good secret for the summer! Clem and Laura are wonderful and engaging. Had a great few beers there with friends and will def be back
