Sandwiches at this branch are notably pretty bad. Coffee is awful.

Not as big as most Fullers pubs and a limited menu. Having said that, all the items on the menu looked very tempting. We ordered hummus (with pitta and black olives) and a charcuterie board for 2. Both were delicious and good value. Both the ladies behind the bar were really helpful and pleasant (this is not a given in central London pubs). One helped us take our supper to the upstairs "Wine Room" - a very quiet oasis of a room. A very nice evening. We wnat to go back to try the toasties and the Scotch eggs.

Charming place with great and friendly service. We had a chance to enjoy breakfast in this restaurant and everything was delicious.

My brother and his family were visiting from abroad and I decided to take them for a quick bite to eat after walking all day. We were turned away because of my infant nephew whom was by the way, 3 years old and sleeping in his chair. It is incredible that a city like London still have businesses in its centre town, have a no children policy.

El miércoles por la noche, la mayoría de los asientos se toman en un acogedor bar de arriba, velas en la mesa, charlar en cada mesa. No hay televisores, ni máquinas de juegos, nadie en su teléfono - solo bebidas y charla y cómo - hacer - usted - hacer (y buena comida si ese es su juego). Hace 175 años que Betsey apareció por primera vez en David Copperfield. Si Dickens entrara aquí hoy, pensaría que el mundo no ha cambiado tanto.

Personal encantador, pero la calefacción estaba apagada, todos allí, sentados o de pie, tenían abrigos al aire libre. Entiendo por qué, pero no puedes dirigir un negocio sobre la base de clientes congelados.

My partner Eva and I went for a drink here after going out for a meal elsewhere yesterday evening. We'd been to this pub a few times before (occasionally for food), but not for a while, and never late on a Friday evening. I started with a pint of Five Points Railway Porter (which was very good) and an Aperol Spritz (which Eva told me was decent), before moving onto whisky later. It didn't take very long to get served, and the barmaid who served me was courteous and efficient. Eva commented on the wide selection of spirits behind the bar, when it was her round. The one negative aspect of our visit was the level of background noise, which didn't bother me but which Eva didn't like, resulting from the acoustics of the pub. I expect that one or both of us will be visiting again at some point.

This pub is one of the loveliest pubs in Uxbridge, just off the main town centre, and also has the best staff. My friend recommended this pub to me and it has one of the nicest rose wines I have ever had. I also managed to lose my coat here and the staff kept it safe for me, even recognising me to let me know I lost it. I definitely need to come back to this pub in the future to try their menu! 🍷🍝

La grosería del personal está aumentando. Hemos vivido en Islington durante muchos años y comido y tomado café aquí muchas veces. Cada vez son más groseros. No hay alimentos con gluten disponible ahora y cuando se imprime en el código qr para obtener información no funcionó. Así que el personal era hosco y poco servicial. No tiene sentido ir más. Este es claramente un lugar infeliz para trabajar y la comida es increíblemente cara para lo que es. Muchas tiendas de la calle superior son sonrientes y acogedoras. El euforio se va por el desagüe.

Me dirigía a un espectáculo en el Pleasance, así que reservé el depósito para algo de comer. El depósito resulta estar justo al lado del Pleasance - por supuesto, debo haberme dado cuenta de eso cuando lo reservé, pero fue hace meses. Tuve que bajar al final para encontrar una puerta que se abriera - y es un granero de un lugar, un piso de madera desnudo, un entrepiso, y un montón de mesas. Agarré a un miembro del personal, que inmediatamente me dijo dónde estaba mi mesa - no hay necesidad de reservar esa noche, parecía. Me decidí por el schnitzel de pollo, y subí al bar a pedir. Personal amable y encantador. Estaba sabroso - los chapuzones con él no eran mucho, solo ketchup y mayo regular, pero el ketchup fue bien con las patatas fritas gruesas. Me habría quedado - y de hecho, el vino era más sabroso, y más barato, que en el bar del teatro - pero no quería dejar demasiado tiempo para ir. Excelente lugar, sin embargo!

Fabulosa comida, tenía las ostras, escargot, ternera y conejo. Y una crema crujiente para terminar. El servicio fue excelente, el personal muy amable. Lo recomendaría.

El personal encantador, animado y atento, nos sirvió un corte particularmente delicioso de bistec bellamente cocinado, maridado con un delicioso tinto. ¡Volverá!

Aire bastante altivo del personal, caro. £ 4 por 4 supuestos pimientos rellenos (parecían 4 tomates cherry) , £ 7 por un pequeño plato de mejillones bastante gomosos en salsa de tomate.
