飴細工のパパブブレ。日本にもあるけど、ロンドンにもあったとは知らなかった。可愛いし、お土産に良さそうだと思った。

While I had read a few reviews and found a couple of Fish & Chip places close to our hotel, I asked the doorman at our hotel for his opinion. I know that in many cases this is not always the way to go, but we were pleased with our choice. We all had Fish & Chips and while I don't like mushy peas, these were fine - straight up peas. IMHO could have used some butter and seasoning but at least not peas that look more suitable for an infant. Service was great - personable and welcoming.

We had relatives visiting from overseas staying in nearby Paddington, so we decided to visit Fatoush for a late mezze lunch, as we expected them to have a good number of vegetarian dishes. We were not disappointed. There was a wide range of both hot and cold mezze. We chose six, which was ample for a light meal for four people. I liked all of them, but thoughts the tabouleh was particularly excellent, made in proper Lebanese style with lots of parsley, lemon juice and olive oil. The Lebanese potatoes (batata harra) and the aubergine mutabal (nice and smoky) were also outstanding. A proper Turkish coffee was great finish to a nice lunch! Our waitress was so welcoming and friendly, we felt like old friends. We didn’t have any alcoholic drinks, just water, and our bill was £65 before tip. If we lived closer, this would be a regular hangout..

Done my research for this place before having a day trip to London. Looked fun. Close to Paddington Station, perfect. Rocked up at 6:00 - 6:30pm on Saturday and they were packing up and no explanation from the guy other than they were closed! Very disappointed. Will not be returning when next in London. The area around it looked very quiet, perhaps that was the reason but if advertising Opening hours until 23:00hrs I expect it to be open.

This is a great spot for a casual night out alone or with friends! The drinks were great! The bartender was charming and the atmosphere was relaxing. It’s also a very friendly environment. I went for a solo night out and ended up making some new friends before I left. Overall, it was a great experience!

Staff blocked main seating area 2 hours prior to closing time. Pushing all customers into a few corner seats. Here is the view 92 mins prior to closing. So staff can leave at 7 pm sharp. Two stars for friendly service.

Ate here a few times while staying near Paddington. Good portions and fairly priced for the area. Would certainly recommend

Dont be fooled by the lovely setting. The food was tasteless, stale, tinned, and/or meager. And you pay 12.5% service charge for the privilege of ordering and paying (and giving your email) via an app.

Avoid… Terrible customer service Says it’s open until 11. The lazy barman likes to close at 1015. Probably gets paid until 1130 though eh?

Beautiful spot for a good night out. Table easily provided, drinks ice cold and helpful service from our fantastic wait staff Sonny. To top it off my daughter won 'paper, scissors, rock' and a free dessert. Music selection 👌 Point to add although busy and a wee wait for food. The toilets were clean and pretty.

I came with some Friends, and we were treated so well by Stella. From the first moment, she was looking after us. She found a nice table to accomodate all of us Then, she recommended what to drink and eat. She came several times to take orders. At the end, we stayed nearly 2 hours! We ordered several drinks and food. Since it is very quiet, and she treated us well, we are planning to come back next week with more friends.

I’ve never been to Pergola before and was super excited for our first visit. On arrival the vibe was promising with great music and a bongo player and Saxophonist. We were seated by a lovely girl who was on her first shift working at Pergola. She took our drinks orders which was fine but 35/40 minutes later we were still waiting. Not sure why it took so long considering it was just a vodka, lemonade & lime and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. We then had to chase 3 different members of staff. When the drinks finally came over they gave us the bottle of wine as it was. No wine cooler which I find astonishing considering we were paying £48 for a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. The manager did apologise and brought some cocktails over but it seemed that most tables were complaining and had the same cocktails on their table. We ordered food which came out reasonably fast. Most of it was fine but the mac & cheese was basically dry pasta with some cheese on. We then ordered more drinks (same order as the first) and shock the same thing happened we waited absolutely ages and then when they eventually turned up we were told we needed to vacate the table. We asked for the bill and 20 minutes later we are still sat there waiting for it. We went to the bar with our drinks as the lady said we could wait there. No one came and it was only when we got sick of waiting and wanted to leave and asked the waitress about our bill she looked confused and clearly hadn’t even remembered. She then got her manager who finally gave us the bill. It was an absolutely shocking visit and so disappointing. It’s not a cheap place and considering how much we spent I think it’s just not on. Unfortunately I would never go back or recommend.
