Fatoush in City of London, Westminster

When my family and I visited the restaurant by chance, I found that the quality of the food was not good at all. The dishes were not fresh and lacked flavor and freshness. Additionally, I found the prices to be excessively high for the quality of the food being served. Overall, our experience at Fatoosh restaurant was negative and I will not return again.

Our first night in london so we weren’t sure where to go until we saw this, Great atmosphere, everyone was very friendly and asked us if we needed help ordering, went with 3 adults 2 kids and everyone had lots of choice on what to eat, great portion sizes as well. would highly recommended.

The food was so disappointing that we couldn't eat it. We ordered lamb shawarma and chicken shish tawook, but both dishes were inedible. The shawarma was extremely dry and tasted as if it was three days old, while the shish tawook was equally unappetising and had a strange, unpleasant flavour. To top it off, both dishes came with a side of sliced yellow onions, which only added to our distaste. It honestly felt like the entire meal had been heated in the microwave. Overall, a very unsatisfactory experience.

Great food & service, very friendly staff specially the owner

My parents and I wanted to have a snack together and found this restaurant and went in! When we said we only want Falafel their attitude was awful! The owner of the restaurant brought the sandwich in his hands and put it in our plates! The taste of the Falafel was extremely unpleasant and badly served also! Never go back again and would not recommend it to anyone!!

Didnt have a problem. Owner had a good rapport, ordered Shawarmas, mixed grills and a prawn dish. sat afternoon, meet up with my old uni friends. The waitress served us before finishing, she was superb, food was really nice, owner gave us his business card, overall no issues from my visit, thank you.

We were looking to have dinner in the nearby area and walked into Fatoush. It wasn’t as busy as the restaurant next door but we were welcomed like regulars. The food served was fresh and flavoursome and was presented reasonably quickly. If you go there and you meet the owner just say G’day

We had relatives visiting from overseas staying in nearby Paddington, so we decided to visit Fatoush for a late mezze lunch, as we expected them to have a good number of vegetarian dishes. We were not disappointed. There was a wide range of both hot and cold mezze. We chose six, which was ample for a light meal for four people. I liked all of them, but thoughts the tabouleh was particularly excellent, made in proper Lebanese style with lots of parsley, lemon juice and olive oil. The Lebanese potatoes (batata harra) and the aubergine mutabal (nice and smoky) were also outstanding. A proper Turkish coffee was great finish to a nice lunch! Our waitress was so welcoming and friendly, we felt like old friends. We didn’t have any alcoholic drinks, just water, and our bill was £65 before tip. If we lived closer, this would be a regular hangout..

It is a good place for a nice Labanese taste. Lamb shank and kibbeh is especially very delicious.

Delicious, authentic Lebanese, fresh ingredients ! I had the potato chili, falafel, stuffed vine leafs, Moussa bi zeit which was a delicious vegetarian aubergine dish! My favourite! Also went for some Sambousi pastry filled with Lebanese cheese. Very comforting thank you

I've been to this restaurant but this one is excellent Decoration service and dishware My third visit, and the prices are reasonable This year was ruined. I still had a samosa Deep fry from the inside 👎🏻

Lovely atmosphere. Service is super friendly fast and kind . They gave us complimentary cake afterwards. It was very delicious. I will come again ✨

Best Lebanese food in the whole of london hands down. 🙌🏼 I've tried many Lebanese places in all my years living in London, but none can compare to the quality and recipes here at Fatoush! The atmosphere is as you would expect in any Lebanese family owned restaurant. The tabuleeh salad is a must order here and go very well with the chips and large selections and variations of meat! The only downside is they currently do not serve alcohol, but have a bring your own drink policy, which is great as you can save your money buying a single bottle of wine instead of the extortionate price of a single glass! 🍷🍾

One of the best places I've been in a long time. The customer service was amazing, so friendly and polite, fast service. The atmosphere was lovely. The food itself was divine! So fresh, piping hot, amazing taste and cooked to 'fall off the bone' perfection. Definitely a new favourite my husband and I will be returning to!

The food was great, I never tasted better mixed grill in my life, and the staff were very friendly and served me tea and cake on the house. I really recommend this place.

If you love Lebanese food you must try this place. The freshly cooked Falafels are amazing and the Mixed Grill for 2 was cooked to perfection and is more than enough for even the most hungriest person. Great service and reasonably priced.

We stopped in at the end of a long day and were welcomed warmly by the host and enjoyed a very well executed Lebanese meal. We had some appetizers and the mixed grill, with the falafel and lamb skewer being particular standouts.

Amazing food, 10/10 service. I came in with a friend, and we ordered plenty of dishes. It was worth every penny. The place is clean, and the staff are well-mannered. Best Lebanese on Edgware Road.

Was staying at nearby Hilton Metropole. Less than 5 min walk. Ordered a shish taouk. Politely asked tot ale a seat. Chef prepared in front. Plenty of garlic and chilli dip packed with salad and bread sliced up. Maybe 10 min wait max and food was hot when back in room. Chicken was well cooked and easy to chew and tear.

mixed grill is very good and shawarma is the best in the world

Unpleasant service and poor food quality. We had gastric upset after few hours, spoons were not clean !!! Odd taste of the salad !! Not recommended at all .

Terrible, they attempted to add on £27 total on top of the listed price of the food including trying to charge £17 for one shawarma wrap. Awful - the attitude of the people working here is the worst I have encountered. This reminded me more of being harassed by scammers in a middle Eastern souk then an honest restaurant in London.

I had an exceptional dining experience at this Lebanese restaurant. The food was fantastic, with the chicken dishes being a standout, and the bread was incredibly delicious. The service was outstanding, and I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent prices, making it a fantastic value for the high-quality Lebanese cuisine they offer.

The service was good. We were offered complementary desserts and bread basket, but the food did not taste good and the hummus had a funny and sour taste.

I went here with a colleague for lunch. It was near the Hilton Metropole where we had just had a meeting. The ambience was so inviting and the staff were very attentive. The food came out and we were just impressed at both the speed of service and the quality of the food. The food was well seasoned and was very tasty. The staff brought us some coconut cake with our meal. It was such a good meal that I am sure I over ate so have had to skip dinner !!

Disgusting service by the manager. Given us awful dry burnt food. When asked to replace, he gave us a excuse of "how it's cooked like that". . And when we said no! He said they ran out of chops lol. Funnily the table next to us got brilliant service just because they spoke the same language. What a shame to experience! Would not recommend this to anyone!!!

4 of us dined here hast night and the food was terrible. We ordered the lamb chops and they were overcooked, burned and dry. They forgot about my meal and didn't apologise, and when it arrived, the lamb cubed pieces were dry and overcooked. Our drinks were not cold and served warm. Very disappointing.

One of my favourite restaurants along Edgware Road. Extremely fast and courteous service. Great variety of dishes with my personal favourite being the chicken liver.

Eerste kerstdag leek het mij en mijn 2 vrienden een goed idee om te gaan eten bij een Libanees restaurant. Voorheen waren we ietswat sceptisch, maar volgens onze vriend leek het erg veel op Grieks. Prima dus dachten wij. Eenmaal aangekomen vielen meteen een aantal zaken op: Het personeel was onderbezet en het stonk er vreselijk naar frietpan met ongezonde kruiden. Uiteindelijk bestelde we 3x pepsi cola en 3x mix shoarma / kip schotel. Toen het eten arriveerde viel ons al een ding op; het vlees was namelijk niet geheel gaar en de portie was minimaal. Ondertussen werd er een tafel naast ons 2 mensen "verplaatst" omdat er meer plek was voor een gezin van 10 (!) Personen. Deze 10 personen zetten letterlijk en figuurlijk de hele tent op de kop door een gehele volksverhuizing te bewerkstelliggen. Na meer dan 15 minten aanplaren verlieten ze het pand weer zonder genade. Iets wat wij achteraf ook hadden moeten doen. Nadat wij met lange tanden braaf ons bordje hadden leeg gegeten en het blikje (!) hadden leeg gedronken kregen we van de vriendelijke ober een rekening waar je u tegen zegt. $ 80,- voor 3 blikjes zonder glas, 3 bakjes halfgebakken kip met een pannekoek (?) en gare rijst die ongevraagd op tafel kwam en ook nog op de rekening stond. Conclusie: Niet lekker genoeg voor wat het kost en niet gaar. Ps. Het lijkt niet op grieks.

I have often eaten in Lebanese restaurants but I must admit that this one was really excellent. The service was quick and the staff friendly and welcoming. I am not at all disappointed, the dishes are delicious.

I definitely suggest to eat here to try lebanese cuisine. Very kindly service is receiving you and well prepared plates are served.

Wir waren mit unseren 3 Kindern hier. Sehr freundlicher Service. Ich war vorher noch nicht libanesisch essen und es wurde uns ein Teller zusammen gestellt zusätzlich zu den Hauptgerichten für die wir uns entschieden hatten. Sehr lecker. Die Kinder haben sich dennoch nur Pommes gewünscht.

The food is very bad that we couldn't eat it. We ordered lamb shawerma and chicken shish tawook and they were both uneatable. Shawerma was very dry and felt like it was three days old. Shish tawook also too bad and reeked with some unpleasantflavor. Both dishes were served with a side of sliced yellow onions - yukh. Felt like the entire plate was heated in the microwave. The server was nice and offered us to replace the food but we had to leave.

Expensive. The dishes are not fresh, and you can still taste the microwave in the rice and the lamb.

La primera ocasión fuimos por que era lo único que estaba abierto casi a media noche, y no pudimos dejar de ir para desayunar y cenar, todo delicioso, muy bien servido, y la atención inigualable!!! Siempre amigables y atentos con nosotros... Si regreso a Londres, volveré a ir!!!

I've never been in a Lebanese restaurant before and the person who served us knew this and couldn't have been more helpful. The food was fantastic, the service was perfect and all reasonably priced.

We visited this restaurant we didny know much about the cuisne the guy who was taking said he will get us food like traditional he confused us we told him we r not that hungry. He gave us so much food and than charged us £165 pound and the food was even less it was worth 100 he didn't even gave us proper bill just wrote down amount on plain paper he was trying to rip us off bu giving us extra food. He tricked us very doggy customer service. Never visiting this again

The service was slow. It took 45 minutes to serve two dishes out of the Bain Marie. The restaurant did not appear overly busy. The food was not heated through. The MD was gruff and did not make me feel welcome. Probably not a vegetarian friendly menu either.

Food was ok, but very over priced. Didn’t get a bill was just told to pay at till. We Were definitely over priced on the bill and extra £30 I would say. If you dine here, ask for the bill to avoid being over charged.

The best lamb shawarma and byriani around! Fresh mint tea like at a bazaar in Lebanon. Very friendly and fast service. This place is our staple whenever we're in the area.

Came to have lunch with my wife. Had Tabouleh, hummus with meat and skewed chicken with rice. Very quick service and the food was fresh. Would recommend. Apart from the price, the rest was very good. The best tabouleh I had so far

My teenage children and their friends were hungry after a long day of shopping in London. They craved Mediterranean food so they went into this restaurant to eat. Shockingly, they were refused entrance by staff, claiming they were not wearing suitable clothes for the “posh” place!!!! Firstly, the group were wearing normal t-shirts and trackies, so very fashionable. Secondly, the place had no sign saying black tie or smart clothes only. Thirdly, and most importantly this treatment should not be acceptable and obviously the owners and staff know nothing about good customer service. I am disgusted but happy my children didn’t spend a penny at this horrible place. Good luck managing your business by rejecting customers and losing money.

Amazing service above their duty.. display was wow factor. The food was delicious, it was so good I had to re visit .. the mixed platter was so good. I had stuff lamb ohhh deliciously yummy a must have. The best food in London.

I would not recommend this restaurant as the food tasted poorly and the food was very expensive. To pay £14 for a small chicken shawarma that tastes pretty bad is ridiculous.

Overload price 3 skiwear’s of meat with bit salad and Houmous and bread drink coke’s 39 pounds !!!!! I don't recommend visiting this restaurant as it firstly ,I think the only reason the staff were nice is to scam us out of our money. This shouldn't even be a one star.

I don't recommend visiting this restaurant as it firstly was empty, the shawarma was cold and they seemed to have added 20 pounds pounds to our total,some of our food wasn't served and they still made us pay for it. The fruit juices weren't fresh. I think the only reason the staff were nice is to scam us out of our money. This shouldn't even be a one star.

Food was amazing. Tasted so fresh. Portions were really big! The houmous was the best I've ever had. The shish could have done with a sauce to accompany it though but was still tasty. I'm not sure if the prices were fair. £50 for 1 starter, 2 drinks and 2 kebabs. That said I'd definitely come back.
