Ate here a few times while staying near Paddington. Good portions and fairly priced for the area. Would certainly recommend

Bonito y acogedor pub inglés en la zona de Paddington, a la vuelta de la esquina del hotel fácil y también Tune. A veces no siempre ocupado, pero hace más almuerzo empacado con el la gente de la zona y los turistas en las noches.

Para empezar no estaba tan seguro, ya que a mi hija de 12 años conmigo. Pero la comida era genial y no tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo. Sólo había dolor y patatas fritas. El personal era amable y los baños muy limpios. Muy bonito.

Заведение тематическое: все вокруг Александра Флеминга. Очень понравились столики на улице: можно посидеть с видом на тихую улочку и поить сидр.

This pub offers tasteful food for reasonable prices. The atmosphere is friendly. We were very content. Thumbs up!

Me pasó al otro lado de este lugar mientras camina desde la estación de Paddington porque me sucedió a mirar hacia un lateral de la carretera. El menú es limitado. Tuve el moo tarta y estaba deliciosa. Estaban fuera de puré de patatas fritas así que tuve, pero aún así era muy bueno. Si quieres una copa son limitadas, pero parecía tener un buen tamaño vino y cerveza menú.

Gutes bier, nette bedienung, gemütliche sitzgelegenheit vor dem pub. Etwas versteckt in einer gasse, dafür sympatisch.

Une superbe ambiance dans ce pub de quartier près de la gare de Paddington. On peut y boire et y manger pour pas cher avec une ambiance tres "british".

El pub Alexander Fleming es un pub estándar en el corazón de Paddington. Está a sólo una corta distancia a pie de la estación. Es pequeño pero tiene un ambiente acogedor. Sólo tomamos unas copas aquí, así que no tuvimos oportunidad de probar la comida, pero estaba bien. Los precios parece barato y vale la pena volver una vez.

I have bin with friends in sir Alexander Fleming pub we had a great time in there The food and drinks was fantastic, and they are one of the cheapest in terms of prises in that area, Also nice ladies in there friendly staff.

Great pub for price, seating and service.Thankfully one can almost always get a seat compared to some other pubs in the area. Good English rock on the playlist and always a friendly dog or two present to restore your faith in the world.

Nous avons pris des verres en famille tous les soirs dans ce pub et y avons mangé une fois. Très bon rapport qualité prix, très bon accueil. Pub calme et convivial , ce qui n'est pas évident à trouver à Londres.

Quite surprisingly a lot of students were there when I visited which made lunch with my colleagues very interesting. Unfortunately at the time I don't think the kitchen were prepared for the amount of people that were there so our orders took over 30 minutes to come. The food was tasty, not a lot of flavor but decent enough for pub grub.

Spent an afternoon in here with old friends before heading out for the night and had a great time, decent food and beers at a reasonable price.

The Sir Alexander is a short walk from Hilton London Metropole. We had dinner here twice during our 3 day stay there. Atmosphere was good, with good music playing and plenty of happy patrons. Meals were well priced, passable pub grub with generous portions. The menu featured mostly traditional English fare, bangers and mash, pies, and burgers.Recommended if you are in the area and in need of a filling meal and a beer to wash it down with.

Basic pub,friendly with different ales for different tastes,clean and tidy,a lovely visit for a Sunday evening

Nice place to visit at lunch times. They're generous with portions and its a nice place to eat. Food isn't astounding but great little place if you want a change from the normal sandwich shops.

Bog standard pub which serves simple bar food all day. We ate here at 3 30pm after walking back from Knightsbridge through Hyde park before getting our bus back home. There were plenty of light dishes to choose from at very reasonable prices. Our chicken and Parmesan salad was delicious with a lovely dressing and the cheesy jacket was perfectly cooked. If you want unpretentious food without breaking the bank this pub fits the bill.

Bog standard local......from the seventies! All that was missing was the smoke. Oh and the good beer, nice food, warm welcome and man at bar with dog.Sausage and mash took 25 minutes to microwave and came out with the most disgusting brown gloop from a jar with a (nearly raw) slice of onion to make it look home cooked. I suppose it is handy for locals but don't make any effort to come here

Assuming this is the pub in Paddington! Friendly staff, good beer, nice price. At least a couple of quid a pint less than other pubs in the area. Also we liked the music. Recommended.

Went for dinner with family. Ordered and paid for dinner at 8.10pm. No one else was eating in the pub at the time. At 8.50pm after checking where our order was they came back to ask us what we had ordered and then went back into the kitchen. Another patron's order came out and we were then told they hadn't started ours as they were busy! Only one person in the entire pub was now eating! We got a refund and left!!

Always drop in here when in London and heading back to Paddington. Good choice of beers and good place to sit outside and people watch and watch the world go by.

Excellent service and very good food, in addition a relaxed music and typical "english environment"... We will miss this place and the people inside, so try you for us!!!!

Near our hotel in Paddington and were are so bummed we didn't discover it until the last day. It was warm, cozy, good food and a great pub feel. Prices are good too. I highly recommend.

good value for money, great friendly service from young lady at the bar, nice relaxing atmosphere, close to the paddington station

Place is ok, food also ok. Beer not bad. But it bugged me when the kicked me off my table as a regular (I'm guessing) wanted the table. That is bang out of order, especially as I spent more than them but that isn't the point. You want to be in the service industry then you must treat all patrons the same. First come first served, especially when I'd arrived the table beside me was empty. Won't rush back.

On a recent break to London we stayed in Paddington and used this pub as our local there. It is a pleasant pub - not fully traditional - a bit of a bar feel. Service was friendly and a good range of beers. Didn't try the food but there was a reasonable selection. Great Turkish restaurant opposite.

Went In for a couple of drinks during our stay in London and found it to be a pleasant, cosy pub just right for escaping for the cold and rain!

This pub was half full when we visited. Decor is a bit sparse and the room smells like yesterday's food. Service is friendly and the bottled and draft beverages were as expected. However, food is flavourless and unoriginal even for a pub, and certainly not anything worthy of the phrase "Gastropub". There are better choices in the area around St Mary's Hospital.

Pub a poca distanza dalla fermata della underground "paddingthon". Ci sono stato in quanto soggiornavo nei dintorni. Carino ed ospitale e la birra è buonissima. Prezzi per il cibo ragionevoli e qualità del cibo buona.

Este é um pub como outros tantos, cardápio de pub, comida de pub, bebida de pub. Dizem que foi deste pub que saiu o fingo que entrou pela janela do Sir fleming e o ajudou a descobrir a penicilina.

Very slow service. Will not go anywhere near this pub again. Go to a difference place next time, there's plenty of alternatives!

I wnet here after a busy day, and had some food from the menue. The food was OK, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. I was quite fine in a large, comfy chair on my own, with my book, food and pint of cider.They had free wifi too, just ask for the password at the bar.

Good beer only1 pump on hand ..great food reasonable prices .great service . Toilets good on same level. Wheelchairs good to get into pub.

Great food, reasonable prices, pub atmosphere, and, as with most of the establishments we dined in, really slow service...

Firstly the positives. The food was ok, fairly well prepared, although the pie was lacking in meat and was fairly dry. Portions were small, but as food isn’t particularly overpriced that’s acceptable.There is plenty of seating, and the pub is generally clean (although the toilet less so).The negatives. Awful service. The barmaids were extremely unfriendly and at times very rude. There was awful, very loud music playing continuously with a range of Sean Paul ‘classics’ seemingly on loop. Especially annoying as we were told that they will turn the music off when the (big) football match started (which obviously didn’t happen).The wine list was average and there was a really poor choice of lagers and ales, unless you love Carling.Had to leave as soon as we had finished the food as it was unbearable.There are plenty of nicer pubs around the area not to waste your time with this joke of a pub.

Great pub, used by the locals which says it all, reasonably priced for the area serving a good pint with tasty wholesome pub grub

the sir alexander fleming is my first stop after getting off at paddington station,the beers are good and the staff friendly they have 2 tvs for sport or music they do food but i only drink so cant say about the food but it is well worth a visit.
