Benugo in City of London, Westminster

Llamé al pasar para tomar un café y un almuerzo. Muy decepcionado de que no hubiera opciones sin gluten para mi esposa, ni siquiera la sopa (que era muy sabrosa). Tampoco pan sin gluten, por lo que ni siquiera podía comer un sándwich. Todo lo que podía tener era una ensalada de frutas preenvasada. Muy mala revisión como resultado en este día y época en que todos estos establecimientos deberían ser adecuadamente conscientes de las alergias y satisfacer diversas necesidades. ¡No es ciencia de cohetes amigos! !

Love the vibe at this place. I always visit if I’m eating lunch alone, and want something quick, fresh and tasty. Plus points for the coffee being very customizable and good!

Mientras buscaba mi alojamiento de Airbnb, vi este lugar y tuve que reabastecer el motor.El lugar se veía diferente del resto, así que entré. Pedí un sándwich y un té grande que era muy agradable.Muy ocupado a la hora del almuerzo, pero es de esperar.Usaría este lugar nuevamente.

A nice place for a coffee and a bacon roll. Good quality bacon. Nice place to eat and well located. Not expensive.

Salió para una envoltura de dedo de pescado, una bebida y una ensalada de frutas = 9. 60. Los dedos de pescado estaban tan recocidos que podría haberlos clavado en mis zapatos y haber caminado a Beijing sobre ellos. Casi me rompí un diente en uno antes de guardarlo. El melón en la ensalada de frutas era tan duro que podría haberlo usado para los tacones. ¿Cómo puede la persona que sirve la envoltura no haber notado que la comida que estaba preparando no era comestible? Lo más irritante fue que no lo descubrí hasta que regresé a la oficina y no tuve tiempo de devolverlo. Hambriento, de bolsillo, frustrado y sin volver.

We were walking around looking for a snack after breakfast and happily came upon this place. The ready-made food in coolers was outstanding. I was also impressed with their environmentally conscious utensils and paper straws. I don't know but probably can assume that all Benugos have these - the utensils and straws are not plastic that takes decades to decompose in landfills. Thank you, Benugo!

Probamos el sandwich de salmón aguacate y parisino. Tanto los bocadillos eran sabrosos. Los baños abajo estaban sucios. Cuando solo tienes un baño compartido necesita limpieza. Había un montón de personal de pie por lo que no es como si estuvieran ocupados en una tarde de sábado tarde.

I travel all over the world and one thing that annoys me is bad customer service. If you don't want to do your job, don't be there. Spacious, busy branch but could do with a clean. One guy literally just standing there the whole time staring into space! Could you not welcome customers or clean. Other lady, saw her slam a hot drink down for another customer! Yes, they have a brilliant and tasty selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads, sweet treats, hot drinks and other things. Eating on a table in a pile of crumbs, do you want to eat like this. The food is good but Benugo you need to sort your staff out. I had the falafel wrap which was delicious and tasty. They offer a variety of seafood, chicken and vegan options with clear ingredient content. Would recommend if staff and cleanliness are sorted. It's nice to relax and chill and people watch. Located just behind Oxford Street near Selfridges.

Large coffee shop with two floors of seating. We called in for an afternoon coffee break after a visit to the Wallace Collection.It has an industrial-chic decor, seating is well-spaced out and we sat by the window watching the world go by. The drinks were good, though I was a little surprised at the use of paper cups, rather than china. Do these really get recycled? The availability of fresh water was a plus.

I always eat my breakfast here when I am in London , because it has variety and it's consistently good. You can go for healthy or bacon sarnies and it's not too pricey.

Really enjoy popping in here and grab some quick lunch. It’s busy so the only slight pain is waiting to pay but the food is tasty and a bit different to the other fast foodies

I eat a quick lunch here 2 or 3 times a month. Always somewhere to sit and don't have to share a small table. Salads and sandwiches quite good but you've stopped making my favourite salad - the veggie one with the fritters in!

While there aren't many qualities that make this place outstanding or special, it's good for a quick coffee break. Also, it's fairly calm (compared to other cafés around) and a good space to maybe do some work or have a quick meeting.

We arrived there by chance for a quick bite while it was heavily raining. Had nice warm sandwiches and coffee. A very good alternative when looking for a quick bite.

went to Benugo for having breakfast. Had caffe latte which was good. To eat an almond croissant which was tasty....

Good place for a quick lunch. We ordered some of the sandwiches and coffees. Both were good and hit the spot. I can't remember if there was Wifi. The toilets are unisex but clean.

The Parisian sandwich at Benugo is absolutely to die for. The staff are always pleasant and there are lots of good snacks!

This is a very nice healthy options. It has great sandwiches with a large variety. You can have great coffee too. Is a small place so it can get crowded in the rush hour.

This is a fine place to have breakfast or lunch, but it's nothing special. Service was friendly enough, but I don't see they are any more special than one of the many other coffee places/chains.

nothing too much to say other than the first time I tried was in Tokyo, every visit to Tokyo I'd go there for breakfast, love the egg muffin, smoothies and - well, everythingfresh honest and goodgreat coffee and tea too

Disappointingly slow and when they stuffed up my coffee order, rather than correcting it immediately and making me a new coffee, they shunted my order back to the back of the queue. I won't be rushing back.

A nice, clean space with a New Yorky feel- bright and simple. Good coffee and very well priced salads and wraps available to go, would recommend a salad bot with beetroot, edamame and falafel particularly. Worth a visit.

We stop at Benugos each time we visit Oxford street and find the fresh food and coffee consistent and tasty. Staff are friendly and prices are fair. Only rate 4 stars as at times it's hard to get seated and toilet facilities are limited and could be cleaner.

Coffee wasn't the best.. Had toasted bagels and they were pretty average. Only stopped because we were hungry but probably won't come back

Very expensive for what you get. As others have pointed out the ordering system needs to be looked at. Queues/ordering/payment took far too long. When I went to collect my order half of it was missing. Service was slow. There were far too many customers waiting at the counter with their order numbers. Complete confusion.

The place offers a decent selection of nicely displayed sandwiches which actually tastes alright. Service is usually friendly and prompt. Large downstairs area is available as well.

Stopped by as we was hungry and had seen it on a walk before and I'm glad we did. Really enjoyed my sandwhich and fresh lemonade. Staff was friendly too!!

We visited for a quick coffee and a snack whilst taking a break from shopping. They have a good vibe and happy staff with solid coffees. I recommend a try.

Paid £5 for a latte and cheese and tomato croissant. Coffee was average and the food was tiny and not heated all the way through.

Visited the Wigmore Street branch on a Saturday afternoon. The tables were full of rubbish. I ordered 2 coffees: the cups had stains on them and on top of it, they write on the China cup with an erasable marker what you have ordered so when you drink it makes even more mess. The toilets were messy. Overall first time in a Benugo and will be my last. 2 coffees and a cookie £6.25

Some slightly unusual choices which is great, friendly staff and quick service. All you need for a breakfast on the go.

I have my lunch here almost every day, great selection of food. I love their halloumi wrap, absolutely very tasty and the pistachio and chia seeds yoghurt. I am not too happy with the way order is taken and the number being shouted at, i feel sorry for the Staff that need to shout louder when it gets very busy and noisy...

The concept of this place is on the go, yet offering a variety of options. You've got healthy yogurt, granola, etc. but you've also got warm breakfast options, especially in an area that is either all seated restaurants or lunch snacks.You've got fresh juices, warm drinks, sandwiches and options of hot food in the sense that you could get your filled croissant heated as well as freshly prepared sandwiches.

Comida pronta para llevar, sandwiches ensaladas frutas etc. Es una opción no cara con comidas sanas y frescas. Ricas ensaladas, frutas, panes etc.

This is a great place to pick up a quality fresh lunch. The salads are great and full of awesome ingredients. Great value too.

I think Benugo is better than Choppd and Vitality (even though it is a different concept). It is healthy, always buzzing, it had a great atmosphere, the staff are very friendly, but the food is average. It looks good, tastes a bit bland, and they seem to have the same stuff on the menu.

What I like the most about this coffee shop is the location, just around the corner from St Christopher’s Place and a few minutes away from Oxford Street, and yet it's quiet and relaxed. The perfect place to avoid the hoards of tourists! The staff was friendly and the service was fast as apposed to my previous experience at some other branch of this chain. We had tea and coffee with cake. Good, fresh, nothing extraordinary.

Popped in for a quick sandwich with a friend, on a very busy lunchtime. The first thing that struck me, was the ridiculous set up they have for ordering/paying etc.. First you have to queue to place your order, you then have to fight your way through the people to join another queue to pay, you then proceed to another location at the end of the counter and wait to have your number called out, when its ready!!! Surely there is a much simpler way of doing all of this??!!As an added bonus to my visit, I happened to see one of the staff members supsiciously looking and smelling, what looked like a slice of cured meat. After sniffing this a number of times (whilst making a face, which gave me the impression this suspect slice of meat was off), she passed it over to a colleague, who told her to show it to the manager. As a result, she was quickly sent back and was told the meat was fine and available for purchase and consumption!!!!I went for the "sicilian" toasted sandwich, turned out to be cold, barely toasted and not enjoyable.... To conclude, there are plenty of lunchtime venues to visit and i wont be returning to this one!!!

LLegue de casualidad,a la hora de la merienda... estaba muy tranquilo, asi que decidi entrar para descansar y tomar un cafe y comer algo dulce... lo recomiedo!

Coffee that actually tastes of coffee!!! Centre of town and the doo coffee and tea and cakes etc but also proper food and sundries to buy= worth a stop
