Animado y concurrido pub con personal eficiente y amable del bar, que sirve bebidas y comensales dentro y fuera (acera acordonada) en una agradable, frondosa, victoriana, terraza, Bethnal Green (a menos de 10 minutos a pie del metro). The Approach Tavern, es un gran viejo boozer que sirve como un gran lugar para la familia y amigos de todos los tamaños. La comida del pub es barata y los muebles están un poco destartalados, pero eso es lo que lo hace tan apto para reuniones familiares más grandes. Para una familia de ocho cenamos y bebimos de 19 : 30 a 22 : 00 el Sáb 22 / 06 / 24 por poco más de £ 300.

Total disaster of a restaurant. Food was poor quality, understaffed and decor was rotting away. No longer a restaurant by the looks of it.

Friend who lives in London recommended this spot and I’m so glad she did! Great atmosphere, clean and sophisticated, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food and drinks were delicious and our group had a wonderful time. Keep in mind that it might be busy - so check if you need a reservation. It’s not technically in Notting Hill, but definitely walkable - about fifteen minutes at most. It’s also a treat to walk around Kensington, especially the Hillgate Place’s beautifully colorful homes. Would definitely return!

Great Bar, friendly staff and great atmosphere

A Disappointing Experience I usually enjoy Pret, but this morning’s visit was far from pleasant. I ordered an Earl Grey tea, requesting it white and lukewarm. What I received was essentially a cup of milk with barely any tea flavor. Hoping to salvage it, I asked for a second tea bag to strengthen the flavor. Instead of accommodating this simple request—given that they’d already overdone the milk—I was charged an additional amount just for the tea bag. I found this appalling, as they could have easily rectified their mistake without nickel-and-diming the customer. Even with two tea bags, it still tasted like milky water. Truly shocking for something as basic as a cup of tea. To make matters worse, the staff didn’t seem to care that I was unhappy with my order. The lack of concern added to the poor experience. And if that wasn’t enough, the state of the premises was disappointing too. The walls are visibly dirty, with grime climbing up them, which makes for a very unpleasant atmosphere. Overall, an absolutely dreadful visit. Pret, you need to do better.

The blonde manager is rude. I think she was on break. She asked us not blocked the fire exit which was not true. As she was blocking it herself. Would not recommend this place at all.

My husband I stopped with our dog for some cocktails - we had a lovely relaxing time with reasonably priced cocktails. Espressos from the inside bar good also.

Booked this for a random Saturday lunch for the family, and was pleasantly surprised how nice this pub is. Tasteful decor, comfortable chairs, good options, food was of good quality, lovely wood fire. We did have to wait for over 40 minutes for our food which slightly ruined it but overall pretty good.

Waited nearly an hour for cake and drinks . No acknowledgment from the water for the delay . Hot chocolate was tepid . I had the lemon merengue tart which tasted perfumey and couldn’t taste any lemon . There was no interaction from the waiting staff and when I paid I wasn’t told how much the bill was and just got out the payment machine under my nose . No thank you , good bye , have a nice day . Customer service is needed desperately. Although they were busy politeness doesn’t cost anything . Would not recommend or go here again

Food was cold but I appreciate that it's a strange hour

There was a lady with blue and grey hair and she was the nicest, charming individual. Made my day.

Had a great Maple Hazel hot chocolate was made by Adrian, perfect temperature for me. Matt was very helpful and lovely to talk to. Thanks again.
