Not at all busy when we visited at 14.00 on a Friday. Bacon or sausage baps tempting but advertised as only available until 11.30. Saw someone eating a Cornish pasty only to be told that they had the last one. They did have jacket potatoes. As far as cakes were concerned there were 2 pieces of Victoria sponge, 2 of chocolate cake and 1 scone. Clearly not too many coach parties anticipated. I asked if, as it was Christmas and not at all busy, it would be possible to break the 11.30 pork curfew and was told that it would be possible to have 1 bacon bap but sausages a bridge too far it seemed. I suppose one should be grateful for very small mercies however puzzling. On the positive side they do proudly advertise cold sausages as well as ice cream for dogs. Whether I could have had one of these sausages heated and made into a hot dog I thought best not to ask. It seems to me that The National Trust really should provide a better service for its loyal members, not to mention potential future members who may well be put off signing up by such a lacklustre welcome. Merry Christmas!

Service is really slow. When a hot drink is wanted, everything stops. There is a fair selection of cakes, but the sandwiches are packaged like supermarket sandwiches - not at all interesting. The staff looked terminally bored - the whole experience was somewhat depressing.

This is a wonderful cafe to visit whether going to Osterley House or Park. There is outdoor seating and a mixture of modern and traditional decor inside. There are often queues, which can take a while to be served. The prices are reasonable and not too overpriced. There is a small amount of seating inside with the majority outside. The food is good and fresh. There is a good selection of homemade cakes and treats. The drinks offer a wide amount of choices. The staff are friendly and try to serve quickly. This is the main area of weakness, but overall it is a good welcoming cafe to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Lovely house and gardens, worth a visit. Being quite a cold day, decided to go to the Stables Cafe for hot drinks. Managed to place my order fairly quickly, but drink delivery was so unbelievably slow. It was a Wednesday morning was only a small number of visitors in the cafe, but the counter staff just seemed to have trouble coping, with both of them fumbling around with drinks machine, some definite retraining being required. My coffee tasted good, but my wife's hot chocolate had a disgusting taste and had to be left unfinished.

I know to expect inflated prices when going to a stately home but the ones at the osterley park cafe are particularly bad for the quality that you received. The range of food is boring and simplistic. All the staff looks like they've got a life sentence and in all the months I have been coming here as it's local to me on my dog walks I've never seen any of them smile. They always seem understaffed even at peak times and I feel this is probably got a lot to do with the luck of motivation. It's such a shame because it let's the whole site down. Obviously doing their best against the system that is overcharging for boring, lacklustre food and drink. A little thoughts and investment and this could be a really lovely cafe bringing people, especially as there are no other alternatives in the vicinity. Need to change dramatically.

More staff needed in the cafe,it seems to be an on going problem, see older trip advisor reviews and we spoke to a local whilst in the queue and she says its always like this! Finally had the cream tea which was very nice even though it was served in disposable crockery.

I came in here a few years ago and the food was awful and expensive however I have been in recently for jacket potatoes served with homemade coleslaw. The potatoes were lovely quality and there was plenty of cheese and a decent amount of salad too. The coffee was also good for a non specialist coffee shop. I also had a piece of the homemade fruit cake recently which was delicious.

4.95 for half a sausage roll!!!! Undressed salad and more for soggy unseasoned wedges. Profit over quality

Stables converted into an informal cafe with light dishes and a good range of drinks. Service could be better but interesting and satisfying menu. Good for families.

A typical National Trust cafe in terms of offerings and prices. Set in the Tudor stables. Had the cream tea which was very tasty and reasonably-priced.

While walking round the grounds and the house I called in to the stables café for a snack. There is a nice breakfast menu regular things like sausage BAP bacon BAP egg BAP et cetera. And then after 1130 it goes on to the lunchtime menu which isn’t very large but it’s all very nice. You eat in the old stables which you can still see the old workings of the stable and where the horses used to be kept it’s pretty cool. Afterwards you can walk through the extensive grounds it’s free to enter into this park you only have to pay to go into the house and ornamental gardens the café bookshop and other shop is accessible free.

Lovely setting with great outside seating area. Usual NT food but the sandwich and soup we had was fresh. Service was good. The only puzzle is why the cutlery is hidden in a far room and not near the servery. Spent ages wandering trying to find it and watched lots of others do the same.

We sat out the front for our ginger cake and coffee, later went round to the garden for sausage roll and salad, while I had the cheese and spring onion panini which was delicious. Friendly staff, even if you chage where you are going to sit!

This is a fairly good NT property cafe serving light lunches and snacks. Prices are mid range. It is fairly small scale inside but there is an extensive outside seating area for the better weather.

Very rude unhelpful staff. Will never visit this awful place ever again. The coffee was cold, asked for a replacement and was told that there was nothing wrong with it. Whatever happened to good customer service? Very upsetting.

No wifi! I regularly stay in this area for business. Everytime I go, I find that the wifi is not working. I basically want to work there, so it wastes my money every time. It is also in a mobile data black out spot. Sort it out Costa!
