During the 5 days of our stay, we went to this pub in London every morning for breakfast. The menu is really cheap and it's very good!

Not an ideal location for W4 but well worth a visit. New owners have brought a fresh approach to create an easy-going, welcoming restaurant (now called the Devonshire Arms) which produces food that's well above the average. Lovely cheerful and cheeky service.

Superb pub food served in a cosy relaxed atmosphere though the menu had rather many pork dishes, not that I mind. For starter, I had pork and duck salad with garlic dressing and the duck was just devine. Although the qual was tiny, it was very crisp and so flavourful that probably a small pieces are sufficient. Had roasted pork belly with quail for main and the skin on the pork was crisped to perfection with smokyness bursting into flavours and linger in your palate and the tangy sweetess apple sauce was refereshing. Pork / quail was very juicy and soaking up the gravy. Mmm. The wine was very good, and food price was surprisingly reasonable.Too bad I didn't have enough room for dessert. Ah well must go again.

Not tried it since Gordon stepped in, but used to be extremely relaxed and low-key.

Closed down - no communication from hotel even though had confirmation email day before arrival. You’d think an email to say so isn’t too much to ask

This venue is currently covered in scaffolding and the building has been completely gutted. The current plan which has been approved by the local authority allows for the property to be developed into flats with the stipulation that the new development must have some form of bar/restaurant. There is currently no further information on when this development will be completed

Truly excellent pastries. Huge range of baked foods both sweet and savoury. We had a chorizo and tomato pastry. Wonderful taste and texture.

Decent pub to watch the football but volume was not that high. So annoying. Thinking why have so many sport screens then?
