Gunnersbury Park Cafe in Hounslow

My took my daughter and her 3 kids here last year and had lunch,. All 5 of us was vomiting and had diahrea and tummy ache for 3 days after,. This was deinitely to do with the fact we all had the pizza there... Also in a side note,, the woman who served us at the till was miserable and rude,. we saw her have an argument with another customer as we got there..We will never ever go back

During lock down the building was extensively damaged by fire. It is beyond renovation and will need to be rebuilt. There are currently two mobile vans offering teas and coffees and a bar service.

Vine aquí con un amigo para almorzar. No había una gran variedad de sándwiches, pero me decidí por una mayonesa de huevo y tomate con centeno oscuro, que era bueno, aunque bastante caro. El servicio fue un poco hosco. Este lugar es Benugo, pero no está a la altura de su nivel habitual.

First time here the other day, it blew me away when I was told how much my order was...Nevertheless a nice little cafe the pizza was the main attraction for me, I definitely recommend. The staff seemed nice enough for me, maybe because it was a nice quiet afternoon but had no problem there.Would say for staff to check the fruit bowl, some didn't look great... At all. -- I picked out the best bananas for out and about and to my surprise, one was absolutely rotten none of it was salvageable, so money wasted there...

The staff at Gunnersbury are such a disappointment to what should be the lovely new cafe. I have been a few times over the last year and a bit and on each occasion the staff are really rude and just ignore you. On one occasion they had an argument between each other just in front of me. They also appear to really hate interrupting their conversation to make coffee. The whole culture of the place really needs to be changed- the staff act like moody teenagers and I think their manager needs to remind them they are getting paid to do this job! On the up side the food is getting better. The first breakfast I had was awful but the latest few have been better. Recently had the salmon and eggs and it was delicious and a really large portion.

We often stop here for brunch but the food standards have really deteriorated. Had a very expensive sausage butty but the sausages were awful. Gristle and tough, inedible skins. Waste of money.

Good place to stop off in when visiting Gunnersbury park. Is a bit pricey though for a basic cafe. We just had sandwiches and coffee/tea but they also do freshly made Pizza and other more substantial meals.

Excellent flatbread with Moroccan pulled chicken and fantastic fresh salad and dressings; this accompanied by a fresh Camden beer.

Tan caro como puede ser y nada más.He disfrutado mi café en el parque durante más de una hora antes de que llegue la Pizza. . .Prosciutto Fungi Pizza que resulta ser jamón procesado, mira las fotos.. . . y el penne que ordenó mi esposa era aún más asqueroso que la pizza, suave en el fondo y seco en la parte superior, ya que han sido precocinados y recalentados.Repugnante.

Debe ser el personal antipático más grosero en cualquier cafetería de Londres. This is the second time I have visited this café and this experience was a lot better than my first. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was tasty. There is a pleasant out door seating area which is popular with dog owners. I do wish they followed the request to keep their dogs on leads when using the area. Next to us were a couple with two dogs, one of which was constantly under our table eating the food that my little grandchild dropped.

I have visited the café several times since it opened as I like to walk in the park. On my last visit this week I found the selection of sandwiches and cakes to be much better. In the past there has been very little choice. I understand that pizzas perhaps dominate the menu not everyone wants that much to eat.

My wife and I visited Benugo with our daughter and granddaughter on a quiet Monday lunchtime. There was plenty of seating available. We enjoyed coffee and lemon drizzle cake while our daughter and her 4 year old shared a Proscuitto N Funghi pizza with two fruit juice drinks. Both the food and drinks were fine although I thought the pizza was a little overpriced for what it was. Nevertheless it is a handy place for lunch while visiting Gunnersbury Park.

A small selection of food cakes & beverages were available. Some hot food, crisps, souped...plenty to choose from.

We arrived at 11.45 for lunch. Pizzas were served from 11.30, but we couldn’t order any ‘mains’ until 12 so were left to sit around for 15 minutes waiting to order as our order was mixed. A strange arrangement and many families had opted to all have pizzas to avoid the wait. However when our order arrived it could not be faulted. Pizza was freshly made and watched with interest by our 4 yo. Then put in a traditional fired pizza oven. Absolutely delicious!

Visited after a walk around Gunnersbury House. Ok for a park cafe, lots of outside tables for dog walkers. Pleasant interior. Poor sandwich and pastry selection although it was 3.30pm

I had a lunch in the cafe on Monday. My child has allergy for certain products, staff was knowledgable, named allergens and showed allergen matrix and offered some changes in the menu. It doesn’t happen often in different places. Thank you for your help guys. Food tasty, facilities clean.

It couldn’t have been situated in a more scene environment. The large glass walls over look a pond, trees and flowers. Minimalist scandenevian design and music. Fantastic food and service.

I was a regular at the old cafe and only get over to Gunnersbury park now and again. I was shocked at at the prices in terms of what you get for your money but tolerated it as its only now and again and my daughter liikes it

Gunnersbury Park is our local park to walk, and only recently reopened after the lottery have restored the magnificent stately home of the Rothchilds, the museum has been tastefully done.

Best mash potatoes! Staff polite and nice. Fast service and lovely place to spend time with friends. I had fun.

A few tables inside were free, but they still had the previous occupant’s lunch on, forcing us to move the plates to enable us to sit down. Thankfully we had our own wet wipes to clean the table top. Grim. The rest of the café didn’t seem any better with food rubbish on the floor.

Awful staff. Can’t say what the food is like because I’m still sitting here over half an hour after ordering a pizza and a soup. Don’t bother. Staff also v rude.

Just got my money back because the food was inedible. Potatoes were lumpy worse than school dinners. Pasta cold and conjealed and mushrooms bitter. Very long wait for awful meals.

I visited the cafe yesterday. I felt welcomed and relaxed sitting outside in the terrace drinking my coffee. Prices are not the lowest but from time to time it’s worth visiting with your friends or family.

The first time we went, shortly after it opened, we had a cracking breakfast. A really good bacon roll, which is of course the measure of any good restaurant. Since then, we've been back a few times and on each of those occasions the food really hasn't been great. The grilled bacon tastes burnt and of carbon, which I can only imagine is due to the grill not being cleaned properly.

The cafe is busy. Do not recommend when you want to relax. Too many dogs around, dog owners seem to take over. They have designed dog area but seem not to care about different people around. Children left unattended, running around. You need to be very careful carrying your hot drink.i like the design of the cafe, food was tasty, a lot of choice, but definitely I won’t come back during the weekend.

I visited the cafe with family and friends. I have a gluten allergy and firstly asked my server could a particular item from the menu be done gluten free as there is no guidance on the menu. The man serving me asked the chef for me who said no.

The staff seem to have been poorly trained. The till staff are unable to multi-task, i.e. pass on a coffee order to the barista at the same time as sorting out your cake/salad order. They pretend to, but just end up ignoring you while going to the next customer. The queueing system is haphazard, not good at busy times. The owners with dogs are allowed to let their dogs beg at other tables. The dog only area should be a non dog owner area to give you peace from the dogs. The pizza I ate today was under cooked and stodgy, and the waiter had no interest in ensuring that we had cutlery and napkins. "Go inside and collect your own" seemed to be the message, despite a hefty price tag for the "award winning pizza". The management of this new cafe is going to have to turn this business around. There needs to be proper processes at the counter, more attentive staff, and better consistency with the pizza cooking before I am convinced that this cafe has improved on the old one.

My daughter has a nut allergy and although we have become used to being restricted with what/where we can eat It was hugely disappointing to be told "nothing is safe in the kitchen" when I asked if anything was nut free. A carrot cake with a walnut on top next to the till and uncovered obviously wasn't ideal and for my child and many others life threatening. I'm hoping this cafe becomes more accommodating to the millions of people with nut allergies and also has a better attitude towards the people that ask, as this is without a doubt one of the worst responses I have ever had. It's not just a case of won't go back it's more we can't go back until it changes.

I had a very bad experience at this cafe today and will not be returning. This cafe is ideal if you are walking your dog, and want to stop for a drink. There is even a very large pen pen you can put your dog into, if it doesn't mind being with other barking and or howling dogs. A pot of tea is £2.20 which is on the expensive side, and a scone with jam and cream is £3.50 which is way too expensive. I'd really been looking forward to trying out the new cafe, but I will never go back. The old one was much better.

Why oh why does the cafe in gunnersbury park allow smoking just outside! Or at least have an area for smoking!

Met friends at the cafe at Gunnersbury park, unfortunately the same old problem , paid a fortune for tea & cake only to have someone sit next to us smoking, wind bring it full in our direction. The management here don’t care at all!

Nos quedamos muy impresionados con el museo y el parque; excelente reformas. Fuimos a la cafetería para el almuerzo, pero tuvimos que comer en el interior debido a la cantidad de perros que deambulan gratis en la terraza. ¿Por qué no puedo leer los avisos de los dueños de perros y actuar en consecuencia? No me gusta perros y estaban literalmente en paquetes!

Caminamos hasta el parque y museo el recorrido del. El museo fue excelente. Paramos en el café y tenía una porción de tarta de almendras y chocolate fudge, caramelo quebradiza y aguas cristalinas. Fue una agradable cafetería que ofrece pizzas a pedido lil, envolturas y ensaladas en la sección. tome Vi gente disfrutando de un café y relajarse en el patio. Además de la gran parque.

Had a ham cheese roll ( kids size ) was in a rush dry white bread roll hardly any cheese or ham expensive second time here prefer old cafe this chain not very friendly ( should have given it to an independent ) price range unfair for locals and quality average

Yo solía venir a la cafetería antigua de principios de la década de 1980 hasta probablemente 8 o 10 años y era bastante horrible durante 30 años que toda. El nuevo sitio es muy elegante y de estilo. Es un poco caro pero es que soy Benugo ventilador de por su calidad. Tomamos el té y el café, que era muy bonito bollo enorme con mermelada y nata. La calidad de el bollo era de primera clase, incluso mi esposa dijo así y ella es muy competente baker. Sin duda volveré aquí.

This newly built cafe - replacing the run-down cafe that previously occupied the space - sits in the wonderful surroundings of Gunnersbury Park which is currently undergoing a long overdue restoration. The cafe serves wood-fired pizzas in addition to the usual cafe beverages and cakes...not cheap though and the cakes really should be under cover for hygiene reasons. There’s a lot of outside seating and a large kids play area (dogs also have their own segregated area). All things considered, a welcome addition to a beautiful park.

Argh! words cant describe how amazing and tasty these guys cook and make handmade sausage rolls! Great place for refreshments!

Visité por primera vez desde la reforma. Parece increíble realmente moderno muy espacioso y un montón de asiento. Una carga de sillas altas, lo cual es bueno. Parece luminoso y limpio y ordenado. Panecillos de desayuno de todo el mundo parecía llevar mucho tiempo. Una pareja eran más que a mitad de su desayuno y el bap llegó. Creo que la comida aquí es un poco caro para lo que te dan.

Después de un largo paseo caliente en el parque con el perro, mi esposa y yo decidimos tener un café al sol en el cafe benugo recién inaugurado. Este se convirtió en el almuerzo. . . Y fue a decir algo excepcionalmente bueno fòod. . El personal era muy servicial y cortés. . Eficiente y rápido servicio. . No puedo esperar a volver. . . La gente puede considerar que es caro para un café, pero teniendo en cuenta la calidad de la comida. . Yo diría que valió la pena

I visited the cafe today. The place was very nice and clean. Reasonable prices and helpful, welcoming staff. Definitely I will come back.

After such a long time of renovations and improvements the cafe has been transformed and reopened as an establishment to equal any new modern cafe. It is bright, modern with young staff with immense enthusiasm.
