Had brunch here, I opted for the full English. Service time was OK, but when I looked at the breakfast I noticed what looked like very cheap deep fried sausages, which they were, the bacon was not great quality either. Sausages were nasty, no taste of meat and an unpleasant aftertaste, even my dog who was with me was not really interested when I gave him some. At £11.95 for the breakfast, I expect better quality produce. I mentioned the quality to the waitress, who just apologised. Later on in the day, I wrote to the cafe to query the quality of their produce, but to date I am still awaiting a reply.

I visited today with my three young kids. I have been here twice before (over a year ago) and the food and service was decent. Today we ordered 2 x corn fritters and one beef lasagne with salad, fries, coffee and tap water for the kids. The food was barely OK. The fritters look charred and unappetising but were edible. There was barely any smashed avocado, there was nothing jammy about the chilli jam, it was just very hot sauce and the egg yolks were a pale yellow which makes me question the quality of ingredients for an £11 main dish. The lasgane also looked equally unappealing. The beef in the lasagne looked and tasted low quality ,the salad served with the lasagne was composed of shredded iceberg lettuce only, if you looked closely you could spot the odd red onion. No cucumber, tomato etc. Almost £10 for this dish, Well overpriced for something so cheap. The only items that were OK was my coffee and the fries! Now onto the service; Staff seemed preoccupied with anything but the setvice. It was'nt particularly busy for a Sunday afternoon, ( we arrived before 4pm) and there seemed to be plenty of staff around not doing much. I had to ask twice for water, my coffee, and an extra plate. There wasn't enough cutlery on the table, we had to ask for this. When we asked vinegar (for the fries) two of the staff shook their heads saying ' no we don't have vinegar'. I was a little perplexed. After we finished our meal I popped over to the kitchen staff to ask if they had vinegar. They confirmed they did. Having seen me, a waitress proceeded to ask me if everything was OK. I told her I was just checking if the kitchen had vinegar because we given an emphatic no when we asked for it. Then to the side next to sauces I see bottles of balsamic vinegar. The waitress just gave a nonchalant shrug stating 'it's not chip vinegar'. I don't recall any of us asking for chip vinegar. When I asked for the bill I asked for the service charge to be removed as I found the service apathetic and unacceptable. I explained my reasons for not paying service and the waitress just seemed indifferent to anything I said. I would have been happy to pay the service charge if staff gave the odd smile and were more attentive. Unfortunately, they staff cannot even feign concern or deliver service with half a smile. Quite frankly most of them seem asleep. It's a shame, perhaps better management is needed to enthuse the staff a bit more. Overall, not great value given the prices. However, my kids ate well because they were starving, I don't plan on visiting again anytime soon, plenty of other places where our custom is welcome.

Cheap ingredients for the full English, very bad bacon and sausage, cold mushrooms and a pot of watery beans. Had to repeat about 3 times our order to a very unattentive and uninterested waitress. Not recommend and will not be going back.

Today was my first time visiting Bloom Cafe in Crystal Palace. It was unwelcoming apart from the nice barista who made the drinks. He acknowledged me and asked for my order, then asked his colleague to take the payment. The setting is lovely and relaxing but the overall service is terrible. I definitely wouldn't choose this place to review in the publication I work for.

I have used this restaurant whenever visiting Crystal Palace and the food/service has been great. On this occasion the quality of the food was awful with the cheapest ingredients used in the full English and veggie breakfasts which were only just hot enough to eat. The waitress was as bad as the food and spent more time messing around with kitchen staff than doing her job. It took two reminders for her to get our coffee which we had ordered 25 minuted prior. The coffee however was very good. I sadly won't be going back or recommending this place to anyone.

Extremely confusing and unfriendly. My sister and I walked in and even the waitress saw us standing but no one acknowledged us and I had to asked if I can sit down and then the white family came behind us she acted way more excited and asked them if they wanna sit down. Because I am not white May be?! The waitress asked us if we needed a menu… I felt the passiveness and arrogance from a particular waitress… whenever we talked to her. I saw a few similar reviews from customers on Google. I guess it’s not a ethnic friendly cafe. The food is fine and other people who worked there were friendly and sweet but.. improve your one particular racist staff please ewww.

Came today for lunch with my children. Service very muddled drinks arrived after food , Table was extremely sticky. No children's menu avaliable or even offered smaller portions with child prices. Another over priced uninterested in customers and more worried about profit margins ! Avoid ....

Had a great brunch with my BFF here. Our server, Ashley, was lovely and his good humour most definitely enhanced the whole dining experience.

Lockdown lifting so decided to have coffee and cake indoors. Poor coffee and cake. Not fresh, industrial and nothing special. It feels like another joint focusing on profit and nothing fresh, unique and above average quality. Shame as staff very nice and good location

I've been for breakfast with my kids and my husband,we had a delicious breakfast,smoke salmon ciabatta, fresh juice and excellent coffee,very polite staff and very focused on our needs,we will be back very soon,I recommended,the best food and service,5 stars!

Service was appalling - the worst service I have ever experienced in London: slow, lazy and unattentive. Food was alright, but portions were very small and quite precy for the amount we got. Some ingredients were not included in the English breakfast we ordered, despite being listed on the menu

I popped in on a Sat afternoon. From the moment I arrived I was made welcome and comfortable. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I had a few glasses of wine while waiting for friends.... excellant choice and the food is delicious. Thank you to Selma, Adriana, Simon and Lucas. I will be back to try the breakfast :D

Went with a group of friends for brunch. Pleasantly decorated on the inside and lots of seating however it was almost empty when we were there on a late Sunday morning.Despite the lack of customers our food seemed to take a long time but was nicely presented when it arrived. Food itself was OK. Friends were a little disappointed with the coffee.

Really helpful staff, quick and efficient service, great choice of foods to eat, great for young children as there are toys for them to play with and also an area to play. Parking is okay with lots of metered bays.

I went with a friend and we ordered a piece of cake to share and two cups of hot chocolate with cream. The waitress said that they didn't have cream but suggested that she could put some baileys instead. We said yes but we couldn't have imagined that she was going to charge £4.50 extra for each cup of hot chocolate!! (On top of the initially £2.80 that each chocolate costs). When we asked the waitress to break down the bill and told her that she should have told us the additional price in advance, a regular client (Robin) who was by the counter with the waitress verbally abused us. He was drunk. The staff didn't do anything. I was ripped off and abused. Never back again.

We went there to have a hot chocolate and a piece of cake to share with a friend on a Sunday evening. I asked whether we could have cream with the hot chocolates, but the waitress said they didn't have cream, however we could have marsh mallows and Baileys instead. When we go pay the bill, turns out it was a total of £21 for two hot chocolates and a piece of cake. When we go ask the waitress to give us the breakdown of the cost, she says that the cafe is actually expensive when it comes to alcohol. Turns out, the price of a SHOT of Baileys is £4.50 (!!!), but the waitress didn't care to let us know when she offered to add Baileys in our hot chocolates. What made it worse, is that there was some guy hanging at the bar with the staff, a regular client, who chipped in and started verbally abusing us for asking explanations and saying that they should have said how much the cost of the hot chocolate (initially £2.80) would grow with a shot of Baileys. We didn't even ask for our money back, or anything, we were just asking why they hadn't told us. No one from the staff cared to stop the man from attacking us. Looks like the ethics of this place is to take as much money as possible from the client, rather than being honest, upfront and respectful towards them. Never going back again.

Con 2 niños y 3 adultos de todo el mundo disfrutaron de sus comidas y bebidas. Cuando pregunté si querían pudding los niños trataron de helado con fruta fresca. Estoy deseando volver.

El servicio se encuentra entre los mejores de Londres y el precio son moderados para Londres. Tome usted mismo lejos de las multitudes y conseguir algo de comida.

The food is very average. Better food in places near by that are also child friendly and have outside space. They advertise a Happy Hour which is very misleading as the glasses served are 125ml which after 3 rounds at £4.80 (750ml) you have paid...

Visité Flor por Brunch ayer con mi pareja y mi hijo de 4 meses, fuera estaba muy lleno, pero por dentro estaba vacío. Todo el personal era muy amable, servicial y atento. Ambos tuvimos el desayuno inglés que era delicioso, junto con café y refrescos....

Hace poco visitamos florecen en Fulham para desayunar después fue recomendado por amigos y disfrutamos de uno de los desayunos más sabrosos jamás! El café era increíble, el personal era muy amable y la avena era para morirse. Unos días más tarde volvimos para almorzar y fue tan genial. Mejor hamburguesa en Fulham. Sin duda volveremos!

This is a good place to go eat if you have children as they have a playroom out the back to keep them entertained while you wait for the food. The children's menu is good and reasonably priced. The adult food was okay and okay priced.

This is a great place for a meal and drink on match-day (or any other time). They have a special light menu on those days which enables the kitchen to cope really well with the high demands on it. The service was really good and the staff very friendly. Overall - a really enjoyable experience!

Went here for recently and paid £12 for a chicken sandwich where the meat was flaccid and fatty. I complained to the staff and they were uninterested. I haven't been served food that bad in a while and was surprised that it should happen at this cafe. There are enough other places locally to go to. Avoid this one.

From the outside, the place looks very charming with the outdoor seating and the strings of lights, so we decided to give it a try. We were eventually greeted by a server. Another reviewer had it absolutely correct when they said the staff was 'uninterested'. We asked our server for any food recommendations. All she said was 'That is hard!' with no additional information. She brought our bottle of wine, placed it on our table, then left, without opening and pouring our wine. Thankfully it was a screw top! I ordered the 'Sea Bass' which came out as two fillets that were charcoal black and tasted like jerky. My husband ordered the seafood linguini and had to get almost to the bottom of the dish before finding one piece of calamari. The whole dinner was very disappointing.

My wife and I stopped on a week night evening for a quick meal and drink prior to watching Fulham play. The place was busy and unfortunately, being a warm evening, the nice outside area was full so we sat inside. The service was prompt and very friendly and, although we only had burger, the food was good and served quite quickly (which suited us). Not cheap but reasonable value for money. Not the place for a romantic evening but great for friends wanting to have an enjoyable meal prior to a night on the town!

As it is local to me I have visited a few times, gave the benefit of the doubt after a couple of awful breakfasts and tried again but this time I won't go back, this place is SO OVER PRICED for the rubbish you get, poor service and it feels like they are doing me the favour by serving me, I can't believe how difficult it is to fry an egg without ruining it every time I've been, and don't even think about asking for ketchup or brown sauce because that's just an extra effort, the portion of the chips are the size that even a toddler would ask for another one. I don't know how this place is still open and I can only assume they rely on unsuspecting football fans on their way to a match.

Great family run restaurant with great staff. 14 of us turned up for a family meal and it was fantastic. Food was delicious.nothing to much trouble for the staff......finally left just past midnight after they lot me loose with the music. Will definitely be returning.

Have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions, never been disappointed! Food is always of a good quality and good selection of drinks! I recommend the steak sandwich and mushroom risotto! Both are great! Staff are always friendly and overall had a nice chilled out atmosphere!Defiantly recommend

Went here last year for some wine and small bites with a friend. The staff were very chatty and attentive and knew a lot about wine so we have a great bottle of Pinot Noir. I would definitely go again but it just seems to lack a little bit of personality in term of decor. I imagine it's nicer in the summer when you can make the most of the outside decking area overlooking Fulham Palace Road.

I went there with my girlfriend on Saturday and this place was packed, I completely understand it was a match day when Fulham was playing but one of the reason this place was overcrowded was by it's own staff. The food was overpriced for the quality, I know cafes by Fulham Broadway who serve a much better quality food at a cheaper price. However, I must state that the staff are very polite.

Is it a coffee shop? Is it a restaurant? Is it a bar? Trick question - it's a bit of everything which is good for us locals in some ways but in other it's a case of Jack of all trades, master of none. Apparently licence is for alcohol with food only - cue mini buckets of fries for the after football crowd - fair enough they need to make a living but this adds to the mixed proposition conundrum. So my tip to you is to treat Bloom for what it is and time your visits carefully for best experience. Will review food at a later date.

Looks like a lovely place with a good terrace to catch some afternoon sun. Living around the corner I have decided to take my friend there for a late breakfast. I was left rather disappointed after paying the bill. Unfortunately due to some technical difficulties our food has taken awhile longer to arrive than expected. Understandable, however when the food was served it was just warm and I had to eat it quick before it went cold. When I heard a waitress say 'We're really sorry and thank you for your patience, can I offer you some drinks?' Automatically I thought it might be on the house, but I was naive and instead was charged with quiet a hefty bill for 2 long waited full English Breakfasts plus 2 coffees. I was patient about it all as I have worked in different restaurants myself, so I do not blame them and understand what difficulties could occur that are out of your control. However, it was not handled how I perhaps expected and despite it being my first breakfast here, sadly it is the last. Maybe you'll be luckier than I was and your breakfast will arrive on time, I'm sure you will enjoy it as the place does have a potential.

Popped in here for a quick coffee before heading for the drive home. The place is pleasantly decorated, and seems clean and well looked after. It was more or less empty, but this was at 5.30pm. The waitress was friendly enough, but she didn't offer any additional cake/snack with my coffee, and the coffee itself was only a notch above dish water for flavour.

This place is on the Fulham Palace Road opposite to where the Garden Centre was. We popped in for Lunch Menu was pretty uninspiring. My date had grilled Salmon which he liked and I had Fish and Chips Batter was soggy and chips were a little greasy for my likening. Why do establishments insist on thinning out the Tartar Sauce! Service was below par given that it was empty for a Lunchtime we had to ask three time for our water to be replenished. They do have outside area but the road is busy so I wouldn't sit there.

Stopped in for full English breakfast, the service was really friendly and quick the breakfast was excellent quality, really good quality sausage, bacon and beans that weren't from a tin!! Would really recommend for a flavoursome breakfast, will definitely go back

Dropped into this place while visiting our daughter living round the corner and really enjoyed just sitting here on the rainy Sunday afternoon and enjoying a coffee with the family. There were a lot of locals popping in and out was great local place.

Vaguely hipster-ish - with faint Sloane undertones - vibe in a bland modern space in an old building on a busy London road. Ok food from an extensive menu - our soups were good. Coffee also excellent. Friendly service.

If I had read the reviews before my visit they may have put me off going to this restaurant. There were elements that were correct but I did have a good meal and the staff were good.We were going to the football at Fulham so popped in here for a three course meal. Were welcomed as we entered and seated quickly. The staff were very good with taking our order and bringing our food and being very polite. They were talking a lot to each other but this seemed to add to the very busy atmosphere.I had squid to start which was okay. The batter was a little to thick for my liking but it was fine. It was cold and raining so I ordered sausage and mash which was delicious. I did find it strange to pay £1.50 extra for gravy though. Bread and butter pudding and custard to follow which again was great.I agree about the toilet situation. Not good from a cleanliness point of view and the male toilet not being open is unacceptable.I wouldn't say it was great but it wasn't poor either and for match day it was perfect.

Nice to sit outside in the sunshine (when it's sunny) or on a mild evening and enjoy a lovely glass of wine and some food with your friends and the cocktails are quite good too!!

Second visit of mine in the last two weeks and I was again not impressed. It started well, I was sat at a table in a pleasant enough atmosphere but that was about it. Though there were a number of staff on the floor at the time, half of whom were having personal conversations with their backs facing the general seating, resulting in our having to wait far longer than expected to even be given menus. The waitress that brought meals to our table was coughing and sniffing, clearly ill. This immediately put us off our meals. It is NOT acceptable to have ill members of staff around not only our plated food but the open baked goods on display and behind the bar where drinks are prepared. I find it extremely unhygienic to be served by unhealthy members of staff when it is clear that others have time to chat amongst themselves, as far as I am aware in the restaurant industry, the customer comes first. Another issue of hygiene is the lack of another restroom, the men's room being out of order since the last time I frequented Bloom over two weeks ago now. For the price that we pay here for a quick lunch meal, there are plenty of other places nearby where the standard is much higher.

Went here today for a Sunday meal, since we live local (v.local) this was our third visit here. The first time we went we where sat outside and had no problems, the second time we noticed the staff really like to lounge around and talk a lot.. But this last time, well this took the biscuit! We were sat down in the proper fashion but after the waitress taking our order it was all down hill from here, brought my cocktail without a straw and had not heard me order a coke, not that this bothered me but it took me a few attempts of waving at all the waitresses who seemed collectively more interested hanging off the bar chatting rather than notice I needed a straw to drink myCocktail. So a fairly empty restaurant and yet our food seemed to be taking a while to come out (I had ordered two simple starters) to which the Chef walks in from outside still in his whites with a tesco's shopping bag in his hand and casually says to a waitress (checking here phone whilst propping the bar up) "that food is in the lift waiting" to which she says "you are shitting me?" And low and behold... It's our food... So we're given our food, my partner has the pumpkin curry which was now luke warm, and my two starters we're just about warm enough to eat, however the chips I had ordered we're stone cold. I got hold of one of the three bar supports and she took them away... Only to bring them back minutes later, hot on the outside and cold on the inside and now cardboard in consistency (basically the chef just threw them back in the fryer for a re-heat) this was it for me, i asked for the bill and left sharply. Bitterly disappointed. Clearly this place needs a manager or at least a supervisor checking on the staff and ensuring a satisfactory standard of serving because it felt like I'd just been to a youth club playing "cafe". Re-heating fries?! Really??? What ever happened to people taking pride in what they serve? Avoid I'm afraid.
