Tuvimos una comida encantadora aquí el viernes por la noche, que reservamos a través de la primera mesa y por lo tanto obtuvimos un 50% de descuento en la comida. La comida era deliciosa y el servicio era brillante. ¡Incluso sin el 50 % de descuento habría sido un gran valor! Lo recomendaría a cualquiera en la zona! Sin duda volveré!

I ordered quite a bit of food with my mates we ate it the coffe was not good the waitress was pretty nice the only reason I’m giving it a good review is cause my mate upchucked his gingerbread and coffee so the place was good about having to clean it sit at the table near the windo and you might smel my mates vomit

We popped into this branch before a booked meal. We ordered 2 luxury hot chocolates. We were served one with the whipped cream and then they ran out of cream. Both “ hot” chocolates were luke warm and below standard. We sat downstairs and were asked to move as they were shutting the downstairs off ( even the customer toilets) . We moved upstairs and there were no seats available. We got a replacement drink but I’m afraid standing with a glass cup is not acceptable. Will never return here and probably avoid all outlets! Smarten up your customer service skills please.

Great food, lovely people! What more can you ask? The service is very good, friendly and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble.

The sandwiches are to die for.. coronation chickhen is superb. £2.90 but very deep and tasty filling. In the past I've experienced grumpy staff, but things look to have improved

Service très très lent… nous avons tout d’abord attendu 15min pour la prise de commande. Nous avons ensuite attendu plus de 45 minutes pour recevoir deux pains perdues, un brownie industriel et des tacos mexicain. Nous avions demandé de l’eau, celle ci n’est arrivé qu’à la fin… (de l’eau du robinet… on se moque de nous) Climatisation très forte alors qu’il ne fait que 22 degré à l’extérieur… nous étions glacées… À FUIR

Fuimos con 14 amigos después de un almuerzo, la señora que nos servía era tan grosera que todos nos fuimos después de la única bebida. Si hubiera sabido lo grosero que había sido cuando entré, ni siquiera habría comprado el.Ah, y había un bistec en el fregadero de hombres que el personal reconoció y se encogió de hombros.No te molestes en volver si me ofrecieras dinero. Ordene a su personal del bar - Honestamente, nunca me he encontrado con una actitud tan repugnante y vil. y tal vez limpie sus lavabos.

Tuvimos un domingo de asado (carne de res) y estaba excelente, la carne estaba cocinada a la perfección y venía con todos los recortes habituales.

Este solía ser un gran lugar local para comida, bebidas, servicio. Acaba de bajar - lástima, pero el servicio es terrible ahora ... agrio - se enfrentó a los baristas! ¡Mesas sucias! Im assuming this is the stour cafe 258 Kingsland Road, and if not then thats what I'm talking about! Amazing coffee and the best bacon sarnie Ive ever eaten. Had in back in early December. Sour dough bread, butter, amazing meat and brown sauce - it was just brilliant. The bread was ace too. Great chef!

I didn't want to leave a review, but feel I want to leave my thoughts for The Junction. I've been going to TJ since about 2016. Many times I went 2-4 a week as it's not far from home. The Junction was like my second living room and I sometimes even spent money going into overdraft, just to listen to the music and come to terms with my grief. But I only give it 2 stars even though they have world-class Jazz & music program, unbelievably for free 6 nights a week. I loved the concept "from musicians for musicians" run by Paul & Luke. I loved what Sung put on with open mic nights on Mondays. In the first few years I went, most if not all bar staff were musicians jumping in to play music and then back to the bar to serve drinks. That really was a great thing and the staff were all amazing naturally. They are jelled with each other like a big family and the "for musicians from musicians" concept was really evident. But these last 3-4 years the staffing has changed a great deal. Apart from having a high staff turn-over now, and of course the pandemic coming inbetween, some staff have really turned me off The Junction. One particular staff member who at the beginning seemed quite "lazy", letting his colleague do all the work while he sat around drinking free gin & tonic. Quiet shocking to see this attitude as I worked most of my life in hospitality and know this kind of work like the back of my hand. But as I have personal issues, having lost my family, I gave him the benefit of the doubt, thinking he might be going through stuff which leads to him not being professional. After getting to know him a bit as he's also regularly there as a customer and as he mingles with regular customers, I was really put off by the way he gossips and talked bad about other customers and even some people who played on stage. I'm sure Paul & Luke are aware of this as I witnessed him being taken aside once by another staff member being upset with him. Most bar staff aren't musicians anymore, which is not an issue, but I missed the old guard of staff, at least their attitude. I also was not keen on the food. On my birthday a friend and I had steak. I ordered a well done, and my friend a medium rare. But I received a medium rare and my friend an almost rare steak. I didn't complain and left it as a one-off. But I stopped ordering food. NEVER compromise on food-quality and cleanliness. Rather have a simpler menu, less on the menu, but then make it top quality if your chef can't handle the pressure. I'd rather have a simpler menu with high quality. I had a meltdown recently (my trauma of losing my family etc) while drunk, and apologised to some of the staff and emailed The Junction directly to apologise, but also to explain my concern about this one staff member. Upon apologizing to one staff, I was told that my meltdown was out of character. I appreciate this being acknowledged and would like to apologise again to all involved. I emailed TJ never received a response, which is ok. I just feel I have to leave this review. To me, you can have THE BEST music, and even the best food, but if your staff aren't professional and spread a toxic atmosphere, even to other customers, a musician and staff, it's a total downturn. Your customers are your bread and butter. Customers pay your wages and bill. Rather charge tickets or more for food and drink when you play world-class Jazz, then have it for free with poor staffing. I wish The Junction all the best in their new location and I hope they take a good look at how and who to hire. Everything stands and falls with staffing, with people.. Paul & Luke seem detached now from staff. But Paul was very strong and visible during the pandemic. He handled the new rules after lockdown very very well in an unprecedented situation. He took that very serious and was very visible and hands on during the initial openings after lockdown. Keep your music alive, but take a good look at whom you hire. They represent you. 2-3 years ago I would have written a 5 star review. Sadly, it's 2, 1 more star for the music. But I'd rather have crappy music and respectful staff than the other way around. I felt uncomfortable many times. Best wishes for the future.

Visité aquí el fin de semana pasado mientras estaba por Peter Kay. La comida, bebida y edificio era genial no puede culpar al personal del bar o la comida de ninguna manera. El entorno es fantástico, que gran edificio. Ahora la razón de la clasificación de tres estrellas, por lo que somos una pareja de mediana edad, nunca suelen tener un problema con los porteros, sin embargo, el portero que me encontré después de alrededor de las ocho de la noche fue muy arrogante y definitivamente me pospuso volver. Cuando salgo a pasar una noche pretendo tener un día placentero, no salgo a que me hablen como si fuera un niño o me traten como si los porteros me estuvieran haciendo un favor dejándome entrar. Se puede ver claramente que somos una pareja de mediana edad, es mi elección dónde voy a gastar mi dinero, no voy a rebajarme masajeando un ego de porteros, no me estás haciendo un favor dejándome entrar, no eres dueño del bar. Por esta razón no volveré, iba a dar una calificación más baja, sin embargo pensé que sería injusto para el resto del personal muy bueno.

Great food. Great prices but be prepared for wait as been twice now and very busy. Seem to be very short staffed.
