Conveniently situated on Broad Street. Dropped in for a coffee and hot snack in the evenIng. Two staff in the shop. From the outset, there was a tense atmosphere. Perhaps there had been an argument? The member of staff behind the counter refused to heat up my dish. I asked why. He said “We don’t hear those”.So I took it home, microwaved it and it was excellent.

I am a regular customer here, and a few times the manager has made comments about me buying a drink with my 02 app. I have been made to feel uncomfortable and he insists and pressurises me to buy something at every visit. I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER! I should not have to feel pressured into buying something to eat at every visit. Please reevaluate the position of this member of staff. All of the other colleagues are very friendly.

Manager refusing to allow NHS staff to use the toilet without ‘buying something’ absolutely disgraceful coming from the manager who could have easily allowed us to use the toilet facilities quickly.

The manager was talking to a customer who did not have a mask, He never objected so NOT adhering to government guild lines. He refused to give me his name but he was European. He level of English was quiet low as he did not understand my objection at allowing customers . VERY rude and insulting staff and I was with my young child too.

I went to get a cup of coffee. The waiter was a man who did not understand English well and spoke Italian constantly. He made the wrong coffee. I told him it was wrong. He was upset and spoke very rudely. I will not go to this coffee shop anymore and I will go to Costa Coffee Shop

The waiter was a little old and very rude and Peruvian, when he realized he was wrong, he expected me to accept the wrong coffee and say nothing.👎

The barista who just served me was plain rude. I didnt deserve it. Best avoid him: broad build, full head of dark hair, beard. It was his acute lack of attention and failure to listen to me in the first place that caused him to continue getting it wrong. Not a good experience

Popped in for two coffees and cakes, meet with grumpy staff, really.... Is this good practice, and does this sell coffees, no, asked for two coffees and one of those they even got wrong, a smile goes along way in business, maybe the staff should learn from this, more or less every table had dirty cups on them, we won't be back! Coffee was strong and OK but that's it!

My wife's coffee was ok, but my hot chocolate was terrible. Very "thiny" taste, too watery. Interior like any other Nero, nothing special. Next time will not drink chocolate.

I love Caffè Nero coffee. There have ha good selection of pastries and muffins. Sandwiches/panini’s - cold and hot. Having said all of that the Teddington branch has to be the worst run one I’ve ever visited. It regularly opens late and nothing is ready. No pastries or sandwiches. No sugars or stirrers out. Not particularly clean. The sandwich selection is rarely more than 2 each and hardly anything left by 1pm. The staff are clearly unhappy. Not proactive and when you complain just shrug their shoulders. Caffe Nero head office did not answer when I emailed. Says it all. What a shame

Waiting for my daughter who was excited about a free coffee using her O2 deal with Cafe Nero. She asked for iced coffee with a LITTLE of the syrup. Masses of syrup added so she couldn't drink it. Asked for another with a LITTLE syrup. Girl gave her none and said she'd have to pay for it. Daughter couldn't drink it as it was soooo strong and with no syrup. We shall not use this Cafe Nero again, and the staff should have a better, nicer, friendlier attitude - surely it was no skin off her nose if my daughter was getting a free coffee because of a known deal.

Had a couple of chances to enjoy a relaxed coffee here on a Saturday and Sunday when visiting London to watch some Rugby. Coffee was flavoursome and perky; the staff were friendly without annoying schmaltz. Easy to relax and do some reading and I noticed others taking some comfortable time out - hiding maybe ??! This place is striking distance from Twickenham so for the mature rugby fan who’d like a quieter pre-match than the overcrowded pubs - Caffe Nero at Teddington could be the go! Just jump the 261 when you’re ready and get straight to the ground....

There is a really nice young man serving in here who is always happy and and gives fast and entertaining service. I'm guilty of getting a good hazelnut hot chocolate or one of the amazing pastries they always have at the counter. I always leave feeling happy and sometimes he gives me extra stamps on my cafe nero card! :D

Buen café, buen servicio y personal amable.

Cafe Nero is cafe Nero wherever you go but in Teddington the setting is lovely. At the back of the cafe is a gorgeous conservatory which is wonderful to sit in on a sunny day - especially if you can nab one of the sofas!

Although it is part of a large chain of coffee shops and Teddington has many cafes. I found this a nice quiet place to stop have a drink and read the paper or do some work. Nearby coffee shop is full of mothers and toddlers shouting and running around as their mothers "do coffee" so its a better choice I also prefer their coffee.

Typical coffee chain serves good coffee and staff are polite and efficient. Can get busy and crowded but thats mainly around 9am and lunch times. Not frequented by mothers and prams with children running riot unlike another coffee shop further up Broad Street.Calm enough to read the paper and waste some time or to study and work if needed.Good coffee.

This is a nice place to relax on the large leather sofas and drink your tea or coffee. You can use your computer or sit back and read a good book.

Was in need of a decent coffee one morning and gravitated towards Caffe Nero. It was absolutely fine - coffee was great, welcome was good, chilled atmosphere inside. But it was a bit shabby. Seemed to be a backpacker or someone moving out from a flat or something upstairs and there was mess in one corner. But overall - absolutely fine!

This lovely little restaurant proves that service matters most. The staff are delightful and very accommodating. Nothing seems too much effort and they serve really good food as well.Great coffee - but none of that coffee snobbery that leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth.

The interior is charmingly vintage and romantic, with quick service and parking available. Most of the food is grown locally and organic. Desserts are not tasty and overly sweet. The rest of the food isn’t extraordinary but still delicious.

Visted yesterday and found the cafe very overpriced - £5.95 for a sausage roll that literally dripped fat all over the table - you can get half a dozen much nicer ones at Greggs for that 😂 Chocolate cake looked good but at £5.25 a slice we gave it a miss, likewise £11.50 for a baked potato with sausage and onions. My latte didn't appear to have much milk in it (clue should be in the name) and the service wasn't particularly friendly either. Dirty crockery was piling up and not being cleared - I'm guessing they were short of staff. Hampton Court Palace is one of my absolute favourite places but this little cafe really needs some TLC.

We've just come back from a walk in the Park and a halfway break at this little cafe. What a gem! The owner of the cafe, Mario, was so friendly and welcoming. We had a nice coffee and yummy pastries. Highly recommend. Plan to return to try their homemade pizzas.
