Wonderful service from Karim throughout our lunch. Great food and drinks.

We were served by a lovely gentleman called Karim, aka mr.wonderful, the pub was great and he made our day!

How disappointing. Beautiful location and front seating area. Visited today on a whim and was surprised to find that two regular beers were out of stock, so was a favoured wine. Sadly, the experience didn’t improve as we were advised approx 50min wait for food (SEN child present) and then was met with a mediocre sandwich with a filling that had seen better days, over done fish and a steak that was mostly grisle. We were told by staff that only one chef was on shift and they had a busy week. Also, side note ladies - there is no lock on the ladies loo door, just a hole where one used to be. Sorry to say I can’t see a return trip happening.

I love this place. Karim is an absolute star 🌟 My friend had the chicken Kiev, which was unusual but lovely. The garlic butter was on the outside It came with dressed salad leaves. Melted cheese on baby gems leaves - absolutely bizarre but such a treat 👌

We had the best night at the Barmy Arms this evening. Loved Mr Wonderful behind the bar who looked after us really well. And the food was great. The steak and ale pie was delicious. Also good prices

Great pub on the river Thames. Friendly, professional staff, Karim was excellent. Drinks and food all arrived on-time and food quality. The sunny riverside location is a bonus.

very good atmosphere kareem was a wonderful host highly recommend for anyone to come and enjoy there afternoon.

Really lovely pub in a great location however unfortunately the food is a massive let down with long waiting times and low standards. £3.25 for two onions rings with a burger. Sent the burger back because it was burnt and dry and was then presented with an equally terrible burger 45mins later. Will not return for food but will stay for drinks again in the future. Just a note that although the staff are lovely they need to have more people working the bar as the service is incredibly slow.

Karim was a brilliant bartender supplying us with drinks throughout the night. He never hesitated to help us and we appreciated it very much. Highly recommend the barmy arms!

Very nice place. Location is very nice, by the river amazing to sit in the beer garden when it’s sunny. Staff are amazing, especially Karim who made us feel welcome as soon as we got in. This pub is a step above the others with impeccable service, perfect location and very good food.
