Very busy, but staff responded with prompt service.

Dirty restaurant. Toilets were out of service. Girls too busy playing on their phones. No one was charged with emptying the tables of used cups and cutlery. It feels unsafe to eat or drink there.

The toilets were so revolting we couldn’t use them. Wee everywhere! Unacceptable! Not busy and no excuse.

Absolutely appalled by the service at Costa Coffee in Richmond. My 3-year-old son urgently needed to use the restroom, and even though the one for kids and disabled persons was available, they rudely refused to let us in. It seems they prioritize staff comfort over a child's emergency. I'm never returning to a Costa again.

They charge extra for non-dairy milk & didn't tell so up front

The lady serving me made my coffee left it waiting, then went to clear some tables, and then decided to give me it. So slow and rude.

Fine service and the setting is good and staff busy but coffee well made clean area and hard working

dont go in too near closing as they were very upset to be disturbed. All i wanted was a takeaway coffee 15 minutes before closing and obviously to much trouble. 2 stars as normally like costa.......

I came in to cool down with a large iced vanilla latte. Service was great they made the drink quickly. The shop was not that busy when I came in. Very conveniently placed just outside the station. I had a good experience overall👍🏼 the drink was nice too!

A busy branch, Richmond's Costa has all the good points of the chain plus friendly, cheerful and efficient staff. There are plentiful choices of coffee shops around but I tend to return here for good coffee and service.

Has to be the unfriendlinest coffee shop I have ever been to. Went 3 times recently to make sure that it was not my imagination. 2 of the staff grunt at the customer, do not say thanks & do not answer if you ask for a paper tissue. I know the wages may be small for the workers but it is seemingly the managers who behave the worst in my case anyway. Also if the customer spends the minimum of almost £4 for a coffee they should command a modicum of respect

Hello lovely’s 🌹, I love Costa coffee, first time I’ve been to the Richmond branch, polite young boy who served me, service with a smile, great customer service skills, I ate outside in the lovely sunshine☕️❤️💯, I had the small laate and roasted cheddar tomato toastie, fresh of the pan🙏💯 hygienically clean environment

I always loved Costa Coffee, especially their Mocha and Mango cooler, but the staff is also always very friendly. Today a wonderful member of staff made me a new drink for free upon realising that I didn’t like the drink I ordered. He did not have to do this at all, yet he insisted and it really made my day. Thank you so much!

Do not order a chai latte the worst I have ever tasted when I asked for cinnamon on top the older lady behind the till said we don't have any. The chai lattes from Costa generally are delicious this was horrendous just milk. Super short staffed too

Nice coffee shop located near the station. Clean and tidy and nice staff. Food is a little overpriced but pleased to see that they are now serving M&S food.

The Costa in Richmond the quadrant is the must unorganised and the old woman walking around clearing tables is rude by giving dirty looks. She must think she is better than everyone else. If people think this deserves 4 and 5 stars they need to venture out as this is far beyond 2 stars.

One of the best places to have a cup of coffee in a nice and welcoming environment. The staff is excellent.

I've only been to the store a few times, and only in recent months. However, I must say, my visit today deserves a 5-star award, backed by my previous visits. Wonderful service today, very polite staff and they also told me to take a seat and they'd bring my sausage bap & latte over to me. This store is fab, whereas the store in Chiswick wouldn't even get 1-star. Thanks to the team at Richmond today! Brilliant.

if it was not convienient I wouldnr visit. tables were greasy and full of empty dishes. Chubby guy with a beard sat around on mobile phone and eating out of the cake display. Seems that this was more like a retreat for the workers rather than a work place.

Convenient location right near Richmond train station. Usually good availability of seating.

Sonríen todo el rato, te tratan con una amabilidad que ves pocas veces en estas cafeterías. Es fenomenal! Ya se donde venir la próxima vez que esté por aquí.

The staff in this store were lovely, very friendly, chatty and warm with my kids, the coffee was as good as always, and the shop was clean and comfortable.

Customer service here is terrible. I may have walked in at the wrong time but I was not met well by staff. I asked for hot water for tea, and Valentina was very rude and not accommodating to my simple question. She then proceeded to complain about where I was sitting. I then asked her for her name and she told me, "no".

It's your usual Costa - but grabs the 4* as the staff have always been very friendly and polite over the years I've been going there!

It's a Costa next to Richmond train station. So it's quite small but offers all the standard drinks plus some toasties and panini's. Just what you'd expect from a Costa .

My local Costa coffee. It's a very busy branch, but it's situated next to the train station, so you can see why. So is usually pretty busy, but the staff are all very friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is pretty chilled out and the service is excellent and prompt.

Drinks are great but cakes, I’ll never buy again. The caramel cake 40 p more if you eat in, does taste nothing but pure sugar. I can’t taste anything else. Rocky rock pure sugar with rice crispies. Don’t waste your money.

I came in with friends for drinks. The coffee and hot chocolate were good but the cafe is a bit dark and dated.

I’m here in costa now. And for the first time I order my latte and it took 7 mins to be ready. There are 3 beginner ladies serving customers and they seem lost. They didnt know what they are doing. It took them ages to make tea for one which is the easiest to make.

Positives - Convenient location right next to the station Pleasantly warm inside on a chilly day Nice lemon muffin Negatives - Slow service and it took a while to put together a cappuccino, a latte and a couple of cakes Cappuccino was cold by the time we got it so had to ask for another Toilets obviously hadn't been cleaned for a while, paper and water on the floor so not a nice experience So overall not the best, there are several other places within a couple of minutes' walk so will try somewhere else next time

Good service, a long shop. Not a massive place. But also near the train station

Absolutely awful. The ladies behind the counter, especially the lady taking orders was filthy... There was obviously San atmosphere between her and the barista with scowling faces. To be honest it felt like a comedy farce gone wrong. The hot chocolates that we ordered were tepid obviously the name 'hot' chocolate didn't transfer into reality! I would not recommend going to this branch nor will I ever go there again.

Here again and exactly the same! Awful cappuccino, it was just a milky coffee. Queued while counter staff chatted ignoring customers.

The staff were beyond helpful, I dropped my cell in the rain and they helped me connect to their wifi with my tablet, you need a cell to confirm text, so that I could still communicate with my travel partner who was meeting me to catch a train. Thank you, thank you. While sitting at a table enjoying a pot of tea during the wait I saw how quick, efficient and friendly they were with each guest. This was my first visit to Costa and it will not be the last.

A fairly standard Costa coffee shop situated within 20 seconds walk of Richmond Station and with outside seating. This Coffee shop is usually moderately busy. There is a relaxed atmosphere and the staff provide prompt service. There may still be a queue of several people at busier times.

Costa always do the trick for me. The cortado was good and I tried a new stuff like a donut with chocolate on the top, I was expecting chocolate inside but it was a kind of vanilla cream, the texture was very nice and it was not very sweet, just very nice, I'll have that again for sure.

Friendly service and decent coffee

Popped in for a takeaway coffee and mango fruit juice, served promptly and the lady behind the counter (Sunday PM 28.07.19) was really friendly. Facilities were all clean and would happily use this costa again.

Every morning I enjoy with a coffee here, I am working around and I enjoy with the lovely coffee here on my break, good service and fast and they are really friendly so well done 👏👏👏

New refit is horrible. They have taken away the sofas and comfy chairs and quirky tables and it is all little square tables and hard chairs. Not a nice place to hang out anymore. They want you to spend your money, drink up then f-off.

Slightly grotty store that has definitely seen better days and could do with some investment. That said the staff are very friendly and the service is quick.

Sat in Costa with other half when she needed a drink so got up and the small red headed lady ( pah lady.... yeah right!) was aggressive with the drinks slamming them down and one of them wasn’t even mine! She was rude and didn’t seem interested in customer service of any kind. Very unpleasant!

The dirtiest and most noisy costa I've been in

Horrendous place. Manager is a blonde woman with barely any communication skills in customer service. The experience felt confrontational and rushed. I tried to sit in for coffee around 20:50 when I was told in no uncertain terms by the man (maybe camil?) that I have to have “paper cup, too late for you” I was told “ 9 is close time, you leave then”. When I spoke to the woman she reiterated what he said. I didn’t want to stay at that point but I had ordered and felt guilty about leaving without paying. They stood giving me daggers looks until I took a sip and promptly left. I wish I had of went to Starbucks in retrospect.
