Tiny little pub that feels like you're sitting in someone's living room. A unique place that has interesting prints for sale. Well worth visiting.

Great little pub, I’d say best in Richmond, tiny pub but wow does it pack a punch for its size! The atmosphere is so friendly total strangers are always befriending each other and the locals all seem like one big group of mates 😂 always fun to watch. no food but you have the rest of Richmond for that.(I believe the landlady )Emma is fantastic and hilarious it takes something special to get a review out of me!thanks guys

A charming little pub , just off Richmond town centre. The thing that really stood out was the hospitable welcome of the charming lady behind the bar. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The whole atmosphere of the place, barlady and customers was friendly and relaxed. Nothing like the somewhat bizarre review underneath.

Seen rats running around and drug deals in toilet....AVOID

Possibly one of the last few proper pubs still around with a great atmosphere if you spend the time to get to know the locals. Well prepared, good quality drinks at sensible prices and it's always nice to go and have a chat with the landlady and bar staff, who are some of the friendliest people you'll find behind a bar. Not sure how anyone in their right mind could give this charming little English 'boozer' a one star review.

The manageress was drunk. Absolutely dive.

This is a great little pub, there are some disparaging reviews that refer to an incident that happened years ago under the old management. What they say does not apply today with the new management and staff who are all delightful people.

Disgrace!! Discriminating behaviour, they let people abuse woman, ignorant, laughing at people/paying customers! Wouldn’t ever want to go here if someone paid me too! Unethical and should be shut down!

We were in for a drink and the staff were so rude and left us waiting for ages. One of them was coughing and sneezing and no standard hygiene in place like using a tissue or washing their hands. One of the staff - the older one who looks like a man seemed a bit drunk as well

Landlord is rude, arrogant and has no care for other customers in the industry. Allows drunk customers to be rude and aggressive. Not a place for family, kids or anyone that does not what to be spoke rudely to. Avoid.

Lovely, charming pub on the outskirts of Richmond town centre. Great beers served by a friendly and fun barman/licensee. Highly recommended.

By far the most most accommodating pub for private events!! We recently had our Christmas party hosted at The Victoria Inn by the most incredible staff, Emma and Ian. They welcomed our vision with open arms, allowing us to take over the full pub inside and out! Applying graphic to the outside of the pub, renaming the pub for the night, dress and theme the inside, provide our own entertainment (musical bingo singer and a DJ!) and even wore branded t shirts all evening, all with a smile! The planning process with Emma was seamless, she has the best ideas and wants to make your private event so special. This shows, our guests couldn't stop raving about the homely and friendly atmosphere. I'll undoubtedly be choosing The Victoria Inn for future private events - the best venue for an unforgettable night - thank you!!

Absolutely fabulous relaxing spot after a Sunday walk in Richmond park, warm welcome for people and dogs, friendly punters and a witty Yorkshire barman. It's a pint and packet of crisps and wine for the Lady/Lad kind of menu which is just grand.

I found this place a year ago and today popped in with a friend for a beer after a long hot walk. We found some shade in the rear patio garden.

A lovely traditional pub on the lower end of Richmond Hill. Unburdened by the trappings of many over developed pubs, this is an absolute gem. A comprehensive selection of drinks, happily served by friendly staff give this place a feeling of relaxation. The locals are friendly, I can't fault it. Probably one of the best pubs in Richmond.

This place was made famous for all the wrong reasons, I wen't back. The owners think they are running an establishment in 1930's Germany. Defiantly one to avoid!

The small beer garden at the rear of the building is the best bit. No-one will find you out here which is away from the hustle & bustle of Richmond-Upon-Thames.

I came in here with friends and we sat in the small patio at the rear. The pub is small, cosy and olde world. The landlady was very friendly.

We stumbled upon this little gem of a pub after a day out, and what a pleasant surprise! Great selection of beers to suit all tastes, nice decor, clean, and the bar staff were so welcoming and friendly. Can't wait to return!

Pub appears very traditional from the outside facade but this is not reflected by the more modern interior in my opinion. That said, bar staff are extremely friendly and pub offers a decent selection of lager and real ales.

Charming pub , very nice people and such friendly service with outside seating and a rear secret garden and only 100 yards from Richmond Bridge. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Well looked after on a special afternoon for my mum. Weather and good service /food made for a very good visit for myself and a large group..

We went to this pub twice during our stay in London and we had a great time. The bartender is the loveliest lady who is a great conversationalist. She comes up with wonderful recommendations as well. I put her in charge of my drinks every time and all were wonderful! A random creep was talking to my mom and I, and she kicked him out (kindly and professionally of course). I want to come back to London soon just to visit. Thank you for everything ❤️

What can I say. Popped into today on crutches. Lady at the bar just said take a sit and I’ll look after you. I didn’t ask for any special treatment. Treated like a king. This lady is Emma. Can’t recommend enough.

Denise couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly when my friends and I descended on her delightful pub towards the end of a Saturday evening. We were marking the departure of two close friends for a new life in the States; Denise really helped us celebrate their new life in style. The Victoria is a cosy traditional inn unusual in Richmond now and elsewhere in London. Being four blokes we were turned away from a couple of bars on the river but Denise was very kind and friendly throughout the rest of the evening. It has a nice atmosphere in there and she couldn’t have done enough for us. Would highly recommend this place and it’s garden out the back of you’d like a friendly pint in a laid back traditional pub where you are treated properly.

Myself and my friends got discriminated against and mocked for our taste in music without a refund on the jukebox. If I pay for a service I shouldn’t have to anticipate someone skipping songs I paid to hear. For reference I put on a mix of old school rock such as Toto/ Metallica and modern rock such as Linkin Park. That being said the service from the bar was good the drinks are some what overpriced.

Popped in yesterday purely by chance. What a lovely gem of a find! Absolutely the loveliest, friendliest landlady, who went out of her way to make us feel welcome and sorted out some garden seating with heating! Will definitely make it a point to visit whenever I’m in Richmond!

Very lovely experience, brought a few of my friends here to escape the cold only to find a wonderful hidden little beer garden with actually good heaters for once as well as blankets for all! The staff even let us bring pizza take away in with us as they don't serve food themselves. The customers were all so friendly and we made so many new friends, while the bartender joined us outside and got to know us a bit more.

We chanced upon The Victoria Inn after visiting the poppy factory. The Landlady couldn’t have been more welcoming. We all said it felt like being welcomed into someone’s home. The locals that were in were very friendly and we ended up having a great chat with all of them together and lots of laughs. If you go to Richmond head up the high street a bit to enjoy a fantastic pub.

Really rude bar lady. She was so rude to me and my family that we felt we had to leave to avoid any more shouting from her. She should not be working in hospitality

If you want to experience surly service and abuse from pissed up regulars who object to you being there, then this is the ideal pub. The landlady was as hammered as her clientele, most of whom could barely string two words together other than “f**k and off.

absolutely terrible. staff is terribly rude and apparently doesn’t know how the police work. see the owner’s replies for further documentation of how incompetent and rude they are.
