Cosy and friendly little nook of a pub nestled at the bottom of the rise up towards Richmond Hill. Friendly and welcoming and a place to make friends. Excellent, regularly changing, small selection of good beers and ales. A proper little pub.

Replying to the reply of the owner to Silvia, yes we were in The Victoria inn in Richmond indeed. When the man in the bar saw that we were leaving without ordering anything because of the way he was talking to me, he said goodbye to us laughing...it was unpleasant.

Good food and friendly efficient staff.

Didn’t have food so can’t review but found this little gem Saturday night very welcoming very popular friendly staff so came back Sunday (today) to chill and relax and people watch

Emma and the team are fabulous! If you want a “real” pub atmosphere it is the only place in Richmond to come. If you are on the High Street and want a proper pub. Come here!

Stopped here for a cold beer & sat out in pretty beer garden to rear of pub. Landlady really lovely & chatted to us, very friendly & welcoming. Didn't eat here but would do so on witnessing how clean & well kept venue was.

This pub was founded in 1850 and is reputably Richmond's smallest pub not being much bigger than a sitting room.It is grade 2 listed building.It is charming and has great character. It is very friendly it has to be as due to its size it cannot be described as anything but cosy. The bar staff are welcoming and itb serves a good choice of real ales.Located on Hill Rise at the lower end of Richmond Hill just away from the main town centre>there is some outside seating which is pleasant on a fine day

A great little pub, small, quiet, intimate, well run and a hidden gem if ever there was one.

An absolute hidden gem. Up the hill from the main centre, but worth the walk. A small, quiet but very friendly local bar. Our hostess, Emma, immediately made us feel welcome with a smile, a chat and friendly manner. Served a very pleasant pint of award winning Tribute ale. Recommended.

Great little pub, I’d say best in Richmond, tiny pub but wow does it pack a punch for its size! The atmosphere is so friendly total strangers are always befriending each other and the locals all seem like one big group of mates 😂 always fun to watch. no food but you have the rest of Richmond for that.(I believe the landlady )Emma is fantastic and hilarious it takes something special to get a review out of me!thanks guys

A charming little pub , just off Richmond town centre. The thing that really stood out was the hospitable welcome of the charming lady behind the bar. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The whole atmosphere of the place, barlady and customers was friendly and relaxed. Nothing like the somewhat bizarre review underneath.

Possibly one of the last few proper pubs still around with a great atmosphere if you spend the time to get to know the locals. Well prepared, good quality drinks at sensible prices and it's always nice to go and have a chat with the landlady and bar staff, who are some of the friendliest people you'll find behind a bar. Not sure how anyone in their right mind could give this charming little English 'boozer' a one star review.

This is a great little pub, there are some disparaging reviews that refer to an incident that happened years ago under the old management. What they say does not apply today with the new management and staff who are all delightful people.

Allowing rude and aggressive men to verbally abuse a lady. Not very friendly and welcoming is it!!....

We were in for a drink and the staff were so rude and left us waiting for ages. One of them was coughing and sneezing and no standard hygiene in place like using a tissue or washing their hands. One of the staff - the older one who looks like a man seemed a bit drunk as well

Landlord is rude, arrogant and has no care for other customers in the industry. Allows drunk customers to be rude and aggressive. Not a place for family, kids or anyone that does not what to be spoke rudely to. Avoid.

Lovely, charming pub on the outskirts of Richmond town centre. Great beers served by a friendly and fun barman/licensee. Highly recommended.

By far the most most accommodating pub for private events!! We recently had our Christmas party hosted at The Victoria Inn by the most incredible staff, Emma and Ian. They welcomed our vision with open arms, allowing us to take over the full pub inside and out! Applying graphic to the outside of the pub, renaming the pub for the night, dress and theme the inside, provide our own entertainment (musical bingo singer and a DJ!) and even wore branded t shirts all evening, all with a smile! The planning process with Emma was seamless, she has the best ideas and wants to make your private event so special. This shows, our guests couldn't stop raving about the homely and friendly atmosphere. I'll undoubtedly be choosing The Victoria Inn for future private events - the best venue for an unforgettable night - thank you!!

Absolutely fabulous relaxing spot after a Sunday walk in Richmond park, warm welcome for people and dogs, friendly punters and a witty Yorkshire barman. It's a pint and packet of crisps and wine for the Lady/Lad kind of menu which is just grand.

A lovely traditional pub on the lower end of Richmond Hill. Unburdened by the trappings of many over developed pubs, this is an absolute gem. A comprehensive selection of drinks, happily served by friendly staff give this place a feeling of relaxation. The locals are friendly, I can't fault it. Probably one of the best pubs in Richmond.

This place was made famous for all the wrong reasons, I wen't back. The owners think they are running an establishment in 1930's Germany. Defiantly one to avoid!

The small beer garden at the rear of the building is the best bit. No-one will find you out here which is away from the hustle & bustle of Richmond-Upon-Thames.

I came in here with friends and we sat in the small patio at the rear. The pub is small, cosy and olde world. The landlady was very friendly.

We stumbled upon this little gem of a pub after a day out, and what a pleasant surprise! Great selection of beers to suit all tastes, nice decor, clean, and the bar staff were so welcoming and friendly. Can't wait to return!

Pub appears very traditional from the outside facade but this is not reflected by the more modern interior in my opinion. That said, bar staff are extremely friendly and pub offers a decent selection of lager and real ales.

Charming pub , very nice people and such friendly service with outside seating and a rear secret garden and only 100 yards from Richmond Bridge. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We went to this pub twice during our stay in London and we had a great time. The bartender is the loveliest lady who is a great conversationalist. She comes up with wonderful recommendations as well. I put her in charge of my drinks every time and all were wonderful! A random creep was talking to my mom and I, and she kicked him out (kindly and professionally of course). I want to come back to London soon just to visit. Thank you for everything ❤️

What can I say. Popped into today on crutches. Lady at the bar just said take a sit and I’ll look after you. I didn’t ask for any special treatment. Treated like a king. This lady is Emma. Can’t recommend enough.

Denise couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly when my friends and I descended on her delightful pub towards the end of a Saturday evening. We were marking the departure of two close friends for a new life in the States; Denise really helped us celebrate their new life in style. The Victoria is a cosy traditional inn unusual in Richmond now and elsewhere in London. Being four blokes we were turned away from a couple of bars on the river but Denise was very kind and friendly throughout the rest of the evening. It has a nice atmosphere in there and she couldn’t have done enough for us. Would highly recommend this place and it’s garden out the back of you’d like a friendly pint in a laid back traditional pub where you are treated properly.
