Guys, if you haven’t been here, what are you doing? This is the freshest food I’ve tasted in Leigh by a long shot and unbelievably reasonably priced. Honestly, as a girl in her twenties, I wouldn’t waste my money on bottomless brunches in chain restaurants with barely any alcohol and mid food. Hogar Del Mar offer a bottomless brunch with all fresh tapas and sangria. I know where I’d rather spend my money! X The most beautiful hidden gem in Leigh. I can’t urge you all enough to come here! 💕🍤<3

Ridiculously overpriced for what was served. Pie and mash advertised a being from a genuine east end supplier did not come up to expectations and the paltry serving left my husband still hungry after the meal. My jacket potato had obviously been reheated and the outside was burnt as to be almost inedible. I had wanted to try this place for a long while and as very disappointed with my experience . Won't be returning

Saturday morning and the place was not busy and thought we’d sit out in the sunshine and have a coffee. Few customers around but not busy at all. Ordered the coffee and sat down and after 20 minutes went back inside to ask how much longer and was told “sorry forgot”. Waited again the orders were wrong and eventually got two cups of hot water that had only been show a glance of the coffee beans from the machine. The coffees were not drinkable and no apologies or I’m sorry. Left the drinks and walked off as not worth ruining a sunny day over two drinks.

We felt welcome as soon as we entered. The manager was really respectful and offered to keep the kitchen open for our order. The food was very tasty and filled me and my family in minuits. We will continue to come here.

Another hidden gem just off of the high street Always nice to visit Vic & Nat who despite being busy, take the time to talk to all their customers.

Well first time here and loved,the stuffed bread vegetarian with 3 veg/salad sides was a breath of fresh air so filling healthy, staff pleasant cute coffee shop, will be definitely coming again, can sit inside or out

Lovely place for a girls night out

I was booked on a bakery course to make Macarons on 17th March 2024. The class was cancelled a couple of days before by the owner. I have repeatedly phoned and emailed requesting a refund but have not had a money back and no apology. Would never use again.

Not impressed A very bored guy serving the food. Place is in need of a good deep clean dirty grill sticky floor and uninteresting food served in silence . No atmosphere Only good thing Coffee was nice though. But not cheap and served lukewarm

Anson Court Care Home Review. We visited Southend-On-Sea yesterday with residents/family members and staff. unfortunately we were let down very last minute from another restaurant. Wish you were here was literally our live saver, trying to find somewhere last minute for 34 people is not easy. Jade, Lee and Lacey were just wonderful and they couldn't of been anymore helpful. As a big group with lots of wheelchairs we literally took over the whole restaurant. The food and service was amazing and we couldn't of asked for anymore. Once again ladies, thank you so much. We will definitely be back :-)

Great value for money. The coffees are superb. The breakfasts are great made with local products. First class service Now called Leigh Road Cafe. New owner!
