The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in St Margarets with St Nicholas King's Lynn and West Norfolk East of England

I've been here numeous times. The food is locally sourced, tasty as heck and half the price of McCostaStarBuck's an the rest. Staff very friendly and helpful, one of the best little cafe's in King's Lynn. Top Notch

We were looking for the old bus station cafe which is well signposted but closed down! In a corner of the same building we found Carlita Cafe bar serving Portuguese food and great cakes and tea/coffee/wine etc. Amazingly cheap beverages (coffee £1.15) but really good quality and we bought extra cakes to take away. has a little mini shop as well. Definitely worth finding.

Recently, we held my friends surprise 30th birthday meal here and everything was fabulous. The staff were lovely and so accommodating throughout the whole booking, the food was amazing - we had over 40 guests & everything was served at the same time, hot & fresh! It was the perfect place to hold a party meal and everyone said how lovely the food, place & staff were! Emily, especially, was amazing throughout - nothing was too much trouble. Thank you, we had such a great evening! Xx

Was quiet when we went in. For was excellent and good value. Really prompt and caring service.

Lovely teacake! For less than £5 for a teacake and a glass of Pure orange juice is a good deal. The only negative is the limited amount of butter but otherwise worth it.

Excellent food great customer service would not go any where else in kings lynn ! . Food always hot and clean which is a massive bonus !

A modern clothing shop for both gents and ladies with the personal touch. Very good staff who are always very helpful every time.

The atmosphere was lively and fun, very busy but we were welcomed by locals and staff alike. Our daughter (nearly 9) was abducted by the landlady’s daughter for a couple of hours and had a lovely time. The food was good but beware, the opening hours and food service times are limited so best to check before going! I loved the fact that it was a pub, not one of these modern bars/restaurants, unfortunately the only ale on tap was Greene King but I did enjoy the Newcastle Brown.

Been in before a couple months back and had nice tea and scone - no issues. However yesterdays Afternoon Tea choice was big let down - way too little sandwiches - way too much cake - way overpriced

People are always keen to complain but have to say we received exceptional service today. Thank you it really makes a difference

The building was lovely and our room very nice and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and polite. We did have a few issues. Room service was poor. 1 coat hanger, 1 small bottle of shower gel. We asked for more, and got shampoo not shower gel. Bathroom bin not emptied over 3 nights. Dirty towels were put in the bath for replacement as notice adviced, but were rehung on the towel rail. Hand towels removed and not replaced. On initial arrival, it was 5⁰. The window was open, and the radiators off. The room was freezing In the restaurant, we were the only 2 left eating at 7pm one evening. 3 staff members came in and started noisily clearing all the tables and resetting for breakfast. We ordered a bottle of wine which was dumped on our table with the top still on. Staff on several occasions were hanging around bored, having indiscreet conversations in front of us. I could go on, but the main problem seemed to be young inexperienced staff, not trained or managed. This was a shame, as although they were friendly, the poor service spoilt our trip. 2 pumps off, fridge almost empty. Food was ok but chips dry as !! Did wonder why on a Saturday PM the place was empty……. Twice I have been and won’t be back as not a great experience

The food is amazing, love the atmosphere but best of all are the staff. A special thanks to Eva, Phil and Toby that served us last night.

Very good value and lovely food and hot drinks. The main reason for my score was the friendliness of the proprietor. She made us so welcome and helped my mother with her mobility issues.We noticed there were several “ regulars “ who were also well looked after.

Go here 2/3 times a week while shopping in Lynn always friendly always with a smile lovely fresh sandwiches and rolls and every couple of weeks we buy the muffins for our grandchildren lovely to see their smiles when we walk in with them 5 xxxxx
