Nando's in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

We have been going hear for about 2 years now and go at least once a week, it used to be really good and good value for money but now it’s changed so much the portion sizes have got so small and the food always comes up cold, we have been going to the one in Ely and got to say it seems much better and not so skimpy and is nice and hot. Nando’s in Kings Lynn need to up their game because the standards have fallen.

It was quite a busy Saturday lunch time when I visited and the servers did all they could to assist everyone waiting and speed things along. Phil, who seated us, was extra attentive, happy and so polite, which made the experience even better! Lovely visit.

First time since living here for 4 years had grilled chicken burger chicken was very dry bun was cold and tough it could have been toasted ! The sweet potato wedges were very hot and very nice. But the cost for 4 adults including drinks was quite expensive £69. Also I asked for extra dip had to pay 95 pence extra. Portion sizes very small not good value for money. Also one drink arrived without a glass. The food arrived without any cutlery which when we asked were told to go down to the till and get them ourselves. Sad tosay we will not be back and will be going to Wetherspoons in future as great service good food terrific prices.

Can't fault the food, full of flavour and very filling. The service today though was very slow with customers coming in after us and being served before us. We will go vack just hopeful that we wont be in the restaurant for nearly two hours again

Firstly this branch is normally great but not this time! We waited 45 minutes for the food, only for it to be served wrong. The standard chicken wrap had halloumi in it and had to be changed, the loaded share chips and no pulled chicken or cheese, just a bowl of chips and had to be changed and all 4 meals were cold. After waiting 45 minutes we decided to suffer the cold meals. Staff were so busy pumping our app delivery orders at the front desk that the restaurant was left neglected and in chaos. At 8pm 2 of the waitresses suddenly put on their coats and left, not sure if they had had enough and walked out or it was the end of their shift but if it was the latter then that was poorly planned. A complete shambles from start to finish and certainly thinking twice about returning. App deliveries are having such a negative impact on dine-in customers.

Just having dinner here. Food and service are excellent. Staff are really friendly too. However there is one member of staff called Lolly and she is the most amazing waitress I’ve ever come across. Need to locate her…just listen for the laughter. She is just going round and having a laugh with all the customers while working. I’d come back again just to be entertained by her. A rare find.

Service overall and customer service appalling. Manager Pietro was totally unprofessional. Was told could not have my refund back on my card as could not find my transaction so continued to give back my refund in cash. £20.00 note and 19 pound coins. I advised did not want all those coins as I had paid on card and he decided to throw the £20.00 note onto the counter and said I can just take the £20.00 then if I want without the rest of the change? One starter also came out without the other and the manager also brought out the drinks with also one of them being incorrect. Been to Nandos a number of times, but not again to King's Lynn. Toilets not checked, no toilet paper, toilet paper trailing out of the sink and onto the floor. I would be totally embarrassed if that was my watch I was managing. Very unhappy customer and totally lost confidence in Nandos. Had to give 1 star as this was the minimal I could give. 👎🏻 😡

Had a great meal and the whole experience was made better by Lolly…lovely lady and great ambassador for the venue.

Enjoyed the Chick Pea burger which was very tasty. The chocolate sponge for desert was also very good.

I never moan really but me and 2 others mates went into nandos yesterday was practically empty and was seated quickly. Me and 1 other mate had opted for the boneless platter medium heat and 2 coke zeros and the other a chicken burger. the food came at about average time the chips were cold but the rest was kinda warm me and my mate thought it tasted good and there was plenty of food we thought it was well priced until about 30 mins later when we both started sweating and then was very ill we had a gig later on that night and it was very uncomfortable to do which is a shame cause food is usually nice there but didn't expect to be ill for days so don't think we will be back didn't want to write a review as I think they're a bit petty but was told I should after how we felt afterwards, maybe it was a one off but has put us off.

This is the second time recently I’ve been to Nandos and there’s been at least 10 empty tables but still a large wait time. Last time I did the app to be put on the wait list and stayed to eat - food great as always. This time I didn’t bother. There was an entire counter full of orders for takeaway with 5 or 6 delivery drivers waiting…I can only assume this is why there are not enough staff to wait tables. I asked what the wait time was for takeaway and it was 10 mins less than to eat in! Not just Nandos but I think customers at the restaurant should be prioritised over takeaway orders, a lot of people were turning up to be seated but leaving when faced with a 40 min wait.

We were seated quickly and given menus to study. Ordering at the counter was simple but it did get busy later on. We had hummus starters which made the wait for main courses far more palatable. We were disappointed that the special seasoning for Christmas was not available in a bottle to add at the table but otherwise would not criticise the food. When drinks are taken into consideration, though, this is no longer a cheap visit. It would also be good to see more sugar free soft drinks available.

Tried to order many times but mostly click and collect unavailable or sometimes No chicken, disappointed. Food is very good but unhappy with this service.

Arrived on a quiet Tuesday evening, walked in plenty of empty tables, greeted by a rude girl who snapped ‘there’s an hours wait for tables’. They clearly couldn’t be bothered to have the custom. Counted at least 7 tables empty. Had to then trudge around lynn with a hungry toddler In the cold to find somewhere else. Never again. Happy to take my custom elsewhere & enjoyed it far better than Nando’s !

Always the same… no space (even though there’s half the tables free) Takeaway? Sure, 30 minute wait. Luckily there’s a few other places to eat dotted around.

Arrived and seated, advised to use qr code on table. But due to lack of mobile Internet and poor restaurant WiFi I was unable to download app or qr app to my phone, explained this to the team and was able to pay at till, but this was then changed by a male member staff, which explained to minimise contact I was unable to pay at till (confused) He was happy to help resolve this by showing me how to download app ect but explained have now Internet coverage. This was not good enough for him not very helpful rude and undermining my intelligence. So we left after wasting 10 minutes, very disappointed.

We called in on Thursday evening on a whim. Seated in a booth as I had my two sons with me. They were really excited to be back eating meals out after what’s felt like an eternity being stuck in. Great atmosphere as you come...

Give them a break, they are doing a great job. They are trying to follow all the rules, keep us and them safe. All the tables are cleaned after each customer. Staff bring everything to the table. The bottomless drinks are refilled by the staff....

When we arrived we could see that there was A LOT of free tables inside but the man on the door explained that we had to register online and we would get a text in “10 minutes, probably less” which due to Covid regs is...

My food came stone cold with hair in and then I asked for a pudding and it was a brownie snd they pulled it out of an m&s packet put it on a plate cold with nothing else

First time back at nando's very welcoming and friendly staff food was great and very tasty and felt very safe spaced out

Good food and speedy service however the team seemed uninterested and we not engaging with customers . I had the half a chicken and two sides which was very good value for money for the price I paid however the hostess could not be bothered...

Excellen use of the space ensuring a one way system during collection. The food was well wrapped, hot and cam with a separate bag for cutelry and napkins.

Good honest Nando’s food. The staff are attentive, polite with still the Nando’s buzz. Our food was delivered in a reasonable time and was cooked as ordered. This restaurant is one of the best Nando’s we have visited.

Ordered the fillet steak, which was far from a fillet steak and was more like frying steak. Was so disappointed as wanted to come here for a long time. I’m not a fussy person and this is my first Bad review that’s based on food.They gave us a very large plate for a very small roll with frying steak the wings were under cooked and awful and no spice to any of them and we ordered the roulette. I expected better. It was like being at Weatherspoon's cheap and tacky, yet paid twice the price

It's Nando's so you know what you're getting. The building is lovely but it's always so cold... I don't know if the chicken is from a different supplier or if it's being cooked differently but this and our previous visit we've found the chicken dry.

Nando’s is a must eat place for me when visiting to England! I usually have the mango lime chicken, but tonight I was told they are trying out a new flavor of mango and passion fruit. Must say, it was delicious!! The grains and greens was tasty with a spicy avocado dressing. Always enjoy the garlic bread. US military discount too!!

So friendly and helpful and our meal was just yummyI was driving and so could only drink soft fizzy like Pepsi and was pleased to learn you can drink as much as you like for no extra charge.Service was quick, helpful and polite.A silly thing I know but we loved the music in the toilet

Love Nandos, who doesn’t. Just one observation within last few visits, chicken was so quite dry. Not sure if it’s the way the keep prepared meat for grilling or it dries out because the way how they cooking it. I tried different dishes, different parts of chicken so I can’t really blame meat itself cause it’s not always the case. And last time I had chicken wings it came in ridiculously small size. Was laughable, since then I’m ordering boneless tights, better option for sure. In general, lovely atmosphere, nice staff and good tasting food, just please don’t let that meat to dry out that bad!

Arrived,one of our friends asked for advice. None forthcoming. We went to order, 1st person said wait,someone will be with us. 5 people behind the counter. Servers walked past us on several occasions ignoring us. We left. This business cannot survive! Awful!!! One star as lovely building!!

Waste of £25! I’d been craving a Nando’s for weeks and thought I’d grab a takeaway one while had a chance. - pitta and hummus came without the peri oil. So just a large box of plain hummus... also be good to spell it correctly when labelling it for a customer. - butterfly burger chicken was so dry I’ll leave it for my dog and I’m not particularly fussy with food. - the chips were Luke warm and did not taste fresh at all (I ate 1/3 of the chips as soon as I got to the car so it wasn’t due to sitting and cooling. Let’s hope the choc a lot cake won’t disappoint. Venue looked lovely, the lady who brought the food out also was lovely with great customer service.

Ordered two butterfly burgers, mine came within 15 minutes which was delightful, however we were disappointed when the gentleman came over to say that my butterfly chicken was the last one and they have just put a fresh batch in and will take 30 minutes, initially we were unsatisfied, however, we were pleased with what he had suggested in order to make up for it, 2 free desserts, if it wasn’t for his lovely manners and friendly personality, we would’ve left unhappy and definitely would’ve questioned coming back, however, due to this wonderful young man, we have left with a full belly and pleasure in knowing we will he returning to this restaurant to be greeted with his presence. what an extraordinary man. Thank you so much Josh, treasure to the company.

There is nothing particularly wrong with the food, provided you like chicken but it is not a pleasant dining experience. I will not be going to Nandos again.

Well this is just the second time I’ve eaten in this restaurant, but be sure it won’t be the last,.

Hot is always as ordered. Hot and well presented. Staff are friendly and attentive. Good value for money when you consider the amount of food, service and atmosphere. My the only downside is the entrance door which when left open sends a tunnel of wind through the restaurant.

I really don't enjoy writing a bad TripAdvisor, however, this experience at Nando's in KL was so frustrating. My boyfriend popped into the restaurant early evening to ask what time they stopped serving food, they said 9.30pm. We arrived before 9pm to be welcomed by a Waitress saying 'we close at 9.30pm', we found this odd as the man and the hours on the door said food served til 9.30pm, so you would think you can order up to 9.30pm. We sat down only to be told by two other staff members that they close at 9.30pm, they turned up the lights and were sweeping around us making us feel very awkward. I know it was new years and I am sure the staff wanted to be out with their friends but the reception we received was awful, not a manager in sight to mention this to.

Esta bastante bien,aparte de hamburguesas hay otros platos tipo pollo a l,ast , el atendimiento es bueno y la relación calidad precio tambien es buena. haces el pedido y te vas a la mesa con la bebida, la comida te la traen a la mesa cuando esta lista.

When with wife. Son and his Wife. I and son had have chicken. Mind lemon and lime flavours. His hot. Mrs had chicken burger but not like a cheap one. Kate had chicken in pitta bread . Very nice again. Staff very good .

Visited for my wife's birthday. Manager kindly booked for us a separate room as there were 11 of us. The seats in the room had a big hole in (basically the leather has been wripped off with underlayer popping out). Also there is nowhere in the room to hang your coats, few hooks would do the trick. Food was good although then ordered starters found a hair in the plate with nuts - it was replaced with no issues (or maybe hair just been removed lol). Food was served very quickly so no fault there. A bit pricey but what is cheap nowadays....

Went for lunch on Saturday and couldn't fault it. Food was brilliant, service top drawer. Will return. Great value as well!

Came here for early lunch on Sunday, come here quite often actually and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The service is always great it’s always fast no matter how busy they are and we love the food. I had the sweet potato and butternut wrap it was delicious! Boyfriend had chicken thighs with spicy rice and loved it.

There was six of us in our Group and we went in here for Lunch, and we had to wait for so long that we had to ask where our food was, when it came it was mainly cold

If my friends and I are ever stuck on where to eat you can guarantee we usually end up at Nando's, it's usually quick service, wholesome food and a nice open atmosphere although pricier than the Wetherspoons across the market place (the food is nicer at Nandos though).

On the out side looks very different to a normal restaurant or Nando’s but looked nice. Inside looks really good and a good layout. Food came quick and was very nice.

Visted with friends for lunch, lovely and spacious restaurant, quick service. Food nice but not very large portions for the price and coleslaw was awful a very cheap taste I couldn't eat it. That said I would vist again.

Never a disappointment coming here, food always comes out quick, nice atmosphere. Food is tasty and hot and filling.

Lovely open spacious restaurant, unlike many Nando’s where you feel you’re eating out with the people at the next table a few inches away! Plenty of tables and no wait even on a Saturday around 6ish. Food came quite promptly and nothing was incorrect or missing. Food was really nice, even my 4 year old son cleared his plate. All the staff we encountered were friendly, in fact two of the female staff were particularly taken by my son and kept coming over to admire him (which he lapped up!). One of the toilets was filthy but the next one along was really clean so obviously a filthy customer had just been in there, not the fault of the staff. The only two things I will say is the chip portions could be a bit more generous for the price, you really don’t get many, and the other is that this restaurant really needs to do something about having just one set of doors as every time someone enters/leaves the whole restaurant temperature drops. Other than that a great place to eat out.

I visited with my two children. The staff are friendly enough, the restaurant clean and stylish. I paid £35 for our three meals (one was a child's menu and I had a starter with salad). I wasn't impressed with the food, very basic and no presentation. When I ordered, the lady at the till asked the ?chef for a ceasar salad to be met with an eye roll in full view of me. Bit awkward. I also asked for a pot of mayo with the child's chicken burger, which I did hear the till last ask the ?chef to do, but it never arrived. I watched them prepare the food as you can in the open kitchen. Chips were shovelled on plates, if they fell off onto the side they were picked up with bare hands and chucked back onto the plate.

Absolutely amazing meal here! Definitely the best Nando’s I have ever ate at. The meals are big and the restaurant is set out really well. Lovely and open and you have lots of space unlike other Nando’s. The food comes out so quickly and the staff are so attentive!

After a disappointment at Prezzo's, we decided to eat in Nando's. I am so pleased we did!

I called ahead so when we arrived we had a long table for fourteen. The staff was welcoming, but don't play a massive part, as its a que and order system. Food came quickly and tasty as always.

Can't see the fuss about this place as it seems to be the place for chav first dates and their idea of fine dining. The veggie options are very poor but my girlfriend likes it (maybe she is a closet chav).

Visited Nando’s for the first time in King’s Lynn and have to say I was pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was good, with music playing and the service was quick, friendly and polite. The food arrived in good time and was delicious. I particularly liked the ‘vault room’. The restaurant in its previous life used to be a bank. During renovation they have kept the vault, complete with HUGE steel door and turned it into a private room that would seat a large party of approximately 10 to 15 people. The only slight drawback was the temperature in the restaurant, it was very cold but this didn’t really distract me from my meal. Will be going back again.

Me and my boyfriend came for a lunch on Sunday, Food was amazing and i have to thank the girl she was serving us (unfortunately i dont know her name), very friendly and she did very well her customer service..

Nando's is not a restaurant I eat in often and it wouldn't have been my choice, but myself and three colleagues ate here and I can't fault the food, prices or service. The chicken was very tasty and as I like spicy food, enjoyed the hot sauces. Not hot enough for me but no complaints. Well worth a visit.

As a family we often pop in to Nandos, we always have a good visit, the food is good as is the service. Never feel rushed also never kept long waiting. The kids like the "Bottomless" glasses of fizzy pop! They like helping themselves to these as they can choose loads of ice one minute to no ice the next!!

We had been 3rd time there as I love Nandos but is only 1 Nandos Kings Lynn so no choice. Food ok and nice as Nandos Franchise scheme, so food should be the same as all Nandos around UK. The building it self is Old bank, so nice and spacious. Even they have event room made from old bank safe storage. Service ok as most of the staff is students.trying to keep clean and tidy after messy clients. But is 1 but it is very cold inside and you cant enjoy to much you want just eat and go. Dont know why is it because of the old bank building or it is no heating there. So we have to set with our coats on. Good place to eat and go but not for long nice dinner with the wine glass.

Took the takeaway full plater. Very nice. The staff who was on till was the best. Unfortunately could not see the name. Best food.

Reasonable priced food that caters for most age groups. Can choose level of spice. One thing to remember is that one you re given a menu you then go to the counter to order. It is not waitress service.

While visiting family in King's Lynn, we all decided that Nando's would be the best place to go as there were10 of us. We called ahead to book a table but were told we could not book because it was a Saturday evening & they only accept walk-ins, but that if we come around 6.30pm then getting a table should not be a problem. When we arrived we were told there were no table available and we'd have to wait over 45 minutes for a table, despite the fact there were obvious large tables available with no-one seated at them. We were told that those tables were reserved for a large party, which we then argued that we had been told we couldn't reserve a table on a Saturday -their explanation made no sense. So, unfortunately our visit commenced with an argument. Eventually we spotted some tables that were free, that were close enough together for us to 'make do'. Unfortunately, one of these tables had an edge so badly splintered that it caught on one of our jumpers and pulled an irreparable hole in it. When we checked, several of the other tables we were sat at had the same problem. To be fair to the restaurant, when we pointed it out, gave us a 'Chicken cheque' to get a free meal on another occasion, so we were placated, however we left feeling slightly concerned that a child could have received a nasty injury or splinter from one of these tables. The food, as we knew it would be, was very good - although three of our meals were brought out with the wrong type of fries on them, so more had to be ordered, this didn't go down well with the waiting staff. One male in particular, was extremely rude. Much as we love Nando's, wouldn't return here again.

As a lover of the Nando's chain decided to stop here for lunch, first time in Nando's in King's Lynn but by far the nicest one I have been in. The building is lovely and the restaurant decor compliments this. Food was quick to come out and tasted great, staff were also friendly and helpful just didnt seem to be many of them. Will definitley visit again if in the area.

First those in a wheelchair/scooter need to ring the doorbell and the staff will bring a metal ramp out for access up the steps. Once inside the staff were professional, kind and courteous.

So, mt first experience of Nandos (Peterborough) was quite frankly awful. I wrote to the store to let them know of the poor experience at the Peterborough store and I duly had a couple of phone calls with a manager who took everything I said onboard. I was invited to try out again and I ended up visiting the Kings Lynn store and wow what I difference. The restaurant was clean and looked warm and inviting.

I went to have lunch. Staff kindly explained manu. Quick service, clean place and good quality food.

Not the most adventurous choice, but you can be sure of a good experience and the Kings Lynn Nando's didn't disappoint. It's in an old bank just off the Tuesday Marketplace.

I visit Nando's a lot as it offers a variety of gluten free food as well as NHS discount. We came recently with 12 people from work and the food was still up to the high standard. The great thing about Nando's is everyone can find something they like from fresh vegan food to hot mouth watering chicken and it can be as healthy as you make it. This is one of the best Nando's I have been too as the the food and service is always on point no matter how busy they are.

Visited for Dinner Saturday evening and was very disappointing. Food although quick was not value for money. 4 meals and none of them were presented in an acceptable manor. Ordered 2 deserts ( Egg custard tart and Brownie) both of which were put on a plate with nothing else and served by the till operative. Very overpriced and certainly not value of money. Staff were non really interested .

Hot, spicy chicken ....cold indifferent staff. Whoever manages this example of the chain needs to get down to Kings Lynn and kick some life and personality into this place. The staff walked around deaf/mute zombies with no concept of customer service/experience. It was our first time at a Nando's and having had good reports about the chicken and in need of a quick lunch ... gave it a try. We could have done with some help with the format and menu but trying to attract any service was impossible even with only half a dozen tables in play. Its the case of a good concept and some nice food being let down by the management and staff. The chicken and sides were good. A dead chicken with more personality that the staff.

Always good food and great service at this Nando's. A spacious main dining room, with the added vault room which is great for a party or special occasion. My only complaint is it can sometimes be a bit cold depending on where you are seated.

My partner is gluten free even tho the food took extra time to cook it was very nice pleasant surroundings Good value hot & tasty

Kings Lynn Nandos has one of the most friendly services a nandos restaurant can offer. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Never waiting too long for our meals. As a regular to this location, we've never waited long. As like many others we too can be picky and like our burgers / wraps a specific way and they never fail to deliver what we have asked for. There are some downsides if you are not local and are planning on coming. There is not FREE parking. Parking is located at the market place is is pay and display and can be little pricy plus there are limited spaces. The location being set in the town centre means on the weekends you will normally get large groups of men and women dining Before their night out which can increase the noise level of the restaurant. Hope this helps guys!!!

Come across as fast food but isn't! The meals are pretty healthy. The grilled chicken with the wild herb sauce and supergrain salad are excellent. Hot and flavorful. I ate here twice while at Kings Lynn. The ambiance is very lively and the servers are helpful.

Don't go for the food. Go because it is within the range your pocket money (I'm guessing here that no one over the age of 25 will ever be tempted to step inside). Go because you want to impress the girl in the class who you've been trying to chat up for weeks. Go to watch the youngsters struggling with their first date. But don't go for the food. It really isn't good value. It's cheap broiler chicken meat served in an uninspiring chilli sauce aimed at those who would go to McDonalds but who know how to handle the intricacies of a knife and fork. Don't go for the food, better still, don't go.

I like Nando's. It's exactly what it says on the tine. The evening I visited Nando's in Kings Lyne, it was like a little oasis of recognisable effort to do well.I visited on the evening of the 15th June after searching for a place to eat - not easy in Kings Lyne in the evening, by all accounts, and was happy to find something I knew I could trust to be good - best in it's genre! It was made even better by the young door greater and waiter that met me that evening - really helpful attitude and went the extra mile to make people happy - well done!

1st ever visit today with my wife and son. Have to say no desire to return. Food was ok but I felt nothing special and very over priced especially desserts. Very small portions.

Visited late pm after being at the corn exchange, was but food was quick and hot. Had to send my food back as the lettuce was brown but was replaced fast.

We absolutely love nandos and the food is always consistently good, however we only buy takeaway now as everytime we've eaten in the restaurant it's been freezing . Every time the door opens you get a massive gush of freezing cold air.

Good place to have a meal. Most of the main dishes are spicey. Staff are professional, helpful and friendly.

We use this Nando's quite frequently. It is quick service and average price for spicy chicken, chips, rice, pitta etc. Always has a good atmosphere, avoid sitting near the door though as its always getting left open so you can end up getting quite cold! Would also suggest that they list their reward options on the menus or at the table as they have a reward card which is quite complicated. Used to be a card and when you reached various stamped section would be half a chicken or free side. Still the same but you cannot see what the options are to choose the staff have to tell you.

Haven't visited a Nando's for quite some time and visiting this one prior to a cinema trip made me realise why this was the case. I remember when Nando's first came to the country and their fiery chicken options felt like a better, healthier alternative to a KFC. The somewhat quirky system of having to wait to be seated before needing to go up in person to order and pay for the meal before returning to ones seat and waiting for it to be served was different. However no matter how great the building used (and Nando's in Kings Lynn is in a lovely ex Bank building) I couldn't escape the feeling that the emperor had lost its new clothes and that and that a somewhat characterless corporate interior was serving up boring food. My wife ordered the chicken wrap with fries and a coleslaw. I ordered the butterfly chicken in a bun. Piri fries and coleslaw. I know one shouldn't expect too much in a fast food restaurant, but it would be nice if at the very least the coleslaw was made in house and not served up from a tub. Too much vinegar and a low value coleslaw at that. More onion than anything else was on evidence. A boring looking bun and a piece of chicken which didn't live up to the expectations as described on the menu. The fries were also bought in. Luke warm and tasted as though they had been prepared a while ago and now the moment the order had been placed. As for the bottomless soft drinks. We tried the so called diet cola. Not sure what cola it was but clearly the gas canisters hadn't been changed in a while as this was more or less flat. £30+ for two this cost. One could say that at that price if I felt the food wasn't that great then what should I expect. But basically this was £15 a head for a single course. This is not cheap eats, this is not particularly fast food and this really any good either. I now know why it's been 3 or more years since I last visited a Nando's. I can't imagine seeing myself visit another one anytime or anywhere soon.

Visited Nando's our last night in Kings Lynn, fantastic food, lovely atmosphere great service. Rounded off our 2-day visit fabulous, place to visit.
