I like to say thank you to Josh he was very helpful and so was the other staff behind the bar , the roast dinner was lovely we always come to honeystone in hunstanton as we live in snettisham

Terrible manager. Complained about us in front of us. Just made us feel rubbish. Handling of complaint was terrible too in my opinion. Laura was the only nice member of the team who went above and beyond to check I was OK. So disappointed in Brett as a manager. I won't be back.

Really pleasant meal and clean establishment. Great value and well prepared pub fare ,pleasantly surprised at quality of larger pub chain. Very busy which is good sign.

Been 3 times and I can't complain. If your a mix grill fan, I'd recommend that. The meats are cooked to perfection, even the chicken nice and juiceie not dry like in most restaurants.

The Veggie Thai curry was hotter than medium, in my opinion. The chocolate tart was excellent.

Great place for food in Sunny Hunny , Hunstanton . Pre booked our table as it can get busy . Very Friendly staff with a great atmosphere. Food was cooked very nicely and is also a dog friendly pub which was a nice touch .

Been going to the hunnystone since it opened and had a few Christmas days there overall we always enjoy the place but we do steer clear during July &August when it’s to busy for us. any other time it’s our go to place.

Great dog friendly pub. Was welcomed and sat in area inside where dogdog wouldn't bother anyone (not that he does!!) We ordered on the app, but could order at the bar. Both food and drinks served quickly and food was hot. Fish and chips was proper fish and was well liked. Didn't have pudding as main meal was enough to eat.

Amazing Sunday roast here, every time we come to Hunstanton for a break we always come here on the Sunday.

Friendly greeting. Even changed our table as we thought the one we'd been allocated was cramped in a corner. Food was excellent, hot and served with a smile.

Generally our experience was positive, prompt service, great food with a lot of vegan options, nice setting with seating indoors and out, however our experience was tainted with the payment system which is extremely unfair! I ordered food online at the pub and the funds were taken from my account instantly, I was then told they could not full fill the order, due to not having any vegan pizza dough, fair enough not an issue to us, I was given a refund. However, I was told that although the payment had been taken immediately on placing the order, it would be 3 to 5 days before any refund was returned to my account!!! Three days later I still have not received the refund. HOW CAN THAT BE FARE!!

Found it very easy to book the table via the website. When we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming. We were shown to our table and explained to order at the bar. The menu is full of delicious choices! We ordered mains, desserts and drinks from the bar lady (blonde hair and glasses). She saw that I was using a walking stick and offered to bring the drinks over to our table. After we had eaten, the server asked if we required 5 mins breather before our desserts were brought out. The male manager came over with the desserts just as I had received bad news and came back with some napkins to dry my eyes. Overall, lovely ambience, great staff and vast menu choices

Good breakfast menu, although there was no sweet / fruity option. Reasonable service given that there was only one front of house staff. Nice decor. Very dog friendly. Could do with apoo bin and sine water bowls though.

Stopped for lunch at the Honeystone on Saturday 5th October, we were warmly welcomed by Morna & quickly shown to a table. We both decided to order the fish & chips as we were at the seaside. The food arrived promptly & the fish was huge! We both really enjoyed our meals & agreed it was the best fish & chips we had had for years. Morna was very friendly & stopped for a chat whilst clearing our table. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.

Good quality food for reasonable price

Sat outside as the weather was nice, although the dog was welcome indoors as well. Me and the family had roasts, the beef was good albeit lacking in meat as there was only 1 slice on each plate. Some plates included red cabbage, others didn't for no apparent reason and the English mustard was actually just American style yellow mustard. Service was lovely though, asked if we were absolutely sure we wanted to stay outside and brought the food out together despite us ordering separately. A bit pricey for what we received though.

Love this pub! Great atmosphere, attentive and lovely staff and top food. The pizza is so good, proper hand stretched dough, you can see them stretching it! Had to have it two nights on the trot. Awesome place!

Fantastic Marstons pub. It is the best Marstons we’ve been to in Norfolk. The menu is terrific and my picky wife for once was spoilt for choice. Great staff, fantastic menu and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Good place for a drink, food was slow to come out 40 minutes and portion size was small, I had the lasagna which was very bland. We have been back to the honeystone today (Sunday 29 Sep 2024) I never thought a place could get any worse. Dlow service behind the bar, no one told us there was an hour wait on food if they did I would have left. When the food did arrive after several complaints the roast beef was as tuff as an old shoe 👞 you couldn't cut through the Yorkshire, roast potatoes were hard and I think they paint them, bacon was all fat, so really it was crap, never going to a MARSTON ever again. Makes wetherspoons 5*

Great place staff so kind, They let us stay the night in our camper..(no cost) Cracking location, we can’t wait to have the Sunday Roast beef tomorrow. Will definitely come back perfect

Whoa. Worst Sunday roast we've had in years. From the £6 starter that came out as what I can only describe as a "palmful" of lukewarm Mac 'n cheese with ONE pitiful goujon placed on top (10/10 NOT as pictured on menu), to the lackadaisical roast beef roast plate with rock hard roasties. 40-45 minute wait for food with a reservation made prior (they did mention this when we ordered) and staff absolutely like pulling teeth to request a substitute side one of our party could not medically have with literally anything else not made of starches (the ingredients in question). Requested said food be left off the plate. It came out with it anyway. I do not leave many reviews at all myself, but this...man... £40 down the drain and a sad end to a lovely weekend.

Arrived at the new booking time 18:30pm (after a phone call to rearrange) to find out our table booking had been cancelled. Gave feeble excuses by person at front of house and told next available table would be half 7. Unacceptable when the pub messed up amd had my young daughter with us - 19:30pm is too late for a 4YO to eat. Not helpful, not apologetic and not friendly.

Was served by amella very good service food was excellent. We took our dog who received a boul of water and a treat when we sat down. The stuff were friendly and happy.

What a lovely place and very reasonable priced. We stayed the night in our campervan and all they ask is you go in and have a meal which we did. We enjoyed it so much we stayed for 2 nights. The mixed grill is to die for. Thank you so much I wish more pubs would do this for overnight stays.

Our favourite spot for lunch when in Hunstanton for the day! Staff always so friendly and attentive and they do great pizzas! Would highly recommend.

Been here many times and never had a bad experience. Staff always friendly and service good. Booking system online is a great idea and works well. Good choice of items on the menu

Overall the place is nice and location is great.

Got there 5mins before due, Sat down at our seats, went up to the bar to order, THEN, we were told a 45 minute wait, not by the server...hummm. Any way 1hour later food arrived, tasted fantastic, all four of us agreed, would we go back again, yes, but not a Sunday.

Here on holiday called to n midweek and also today Sunday 15th September 2024 both meals very good. Service by Helen excellent would be happy to eat here again

I recently visited this place, and while the service and atmosphere were good, the quality of the food was very bad. Everything is nicely described on the menu, but when the food arrived, it was nothing like what was advertised. For example, the mashed potatoes looked like they were made from powder—terrible.

Visited The Honeystone with friends and our two dogs. Really friendly team, very busy but still has time to deliver great service. Highly recommended.

Was disappointed no Sunday roasts left and my hunters chicken was very tough pub very hectic and not a lot of staff

Terrible table service, waited an hour and a half for our mains after our starters. Had to ask to see where our food was 3 times before eventually getting it. We booked here to have a roast and when we arrived we were told there was no roasts. Would not recommend at all.

AVOID! The food was awful and over cooked. We ordered three pizzas. All rolled out to a inch of their life! Cheese cooked so much it had bubbled and the Cheesy garlic bread was disgusting. Absolutely no one came to the table to ask us how I meal was. For the money we paid a sainsburys meal deal would have been more enjoyable. The honeystone in Hunstanton use to be lovely and for some reason since the 2 for 1 deal stopped running none of the restaurants have been worth going to. One of your staff was having lunch which was nice to see. What also shocked me was that her pizza looked amazing like the chef had actually taken time and effort to actually make it.

Excellent value food delivered to the table by enthusiastic and friendly staff. The place was clean and comfortable with a good choice of food and drink.

The food is served lovely & hot & within a reasonable time, staff are friendly & the environment is clean & welcoming… my only issue is that the salad I have had twice now has things missing…. It says it comes with soy beans, I found one on the first salad & two on the second, (literally) & it’s meant to be served with brown rice as well, I did not find any either time & both time the salad was served & clearly prepared differently … surely chefs are taught to follow a specific recipe & presentation? That being said .. the chicken was nice & hot as was the bacon & or was all very fresh looking & delicious!

Massive thank you to Honeystone. Visited twice this weekend whilst staying locally. My son has a peanut and treenut allergy and staff were very helpful. The lovely lady who seated us was having a very busy evening Sunday and had some awful customers to deal with, but she was friendly, smiley and helpful. Food took a while but we were warned about that prior to ordering so you can't say fairer than that. We all enjoyed our food and we hardly eat out due to the allergies so thank you for some lovely meals

It was a nice enough meal for the money. We were served by maddie who was fab and did a very good job. Can't fault atmosphere. Would definitely go again.

Visited yesterday with family. Our food was lovely, staff were all friendly however Maddie who served us was especially friendly and chatty! Couldn’t have asked for a lovelier server. Atmosphere was great. Will definitely be visiting again.

Food quite small portions. Mash potatoes were non existent on the sausage n mash dinner.

Briliant, they alowed me to stop the night in my motorhome, for free, and ate 2 meals in the pub. Staff are first class. But in the evning it is best to book a table well in advance as it is veey popular. I did think it was rather close to the fun fair but the noise was minimal and stoped early enough. I love that i could just wander through the fair to the beach. I had a lovley strole after my evning meal and at 7am i wanderd down there and had brakfast on the beach befor an early start home. Prices for food were very reasonable. Next time i visit Hunstanton I will visit again.

The team here are trying really hard to make the restaurant work well. They are a super friendly bunch of people and the food is fairly good - from a vegan foodie :) thanks for helping make our stay memorable, we enjoyed your restaurant, especially the kids play areas. Lovely big restaurant in a very useful location for the beach and rides. Will be back to try the other items on the menu.

Beautiful food. We live in Hunstanton and often come here as a meeting place for a meal out. Reasonable service, decent food and lovely place to go for a meal!

Got my food but it was missing the bbq sauce and rocket like it said on the menu and someone else with me didn’t receive brown rice and soya beans with their jacket potato which is said on the menu damn right lazy oh and the chicken wings are like rocks

RAW FOOD Well being from a place where Marston pubs are many we thought the Honeystone was a safe bet . How wrong were we !!!!! To start with the beer ! (Peddy) was flat . The bar staff seem oblivious to this and this was acceptable in their standards. Then the food arrived. Hunters Chicken and the Chicken Kebab. The hunters chicken was barely warm and the Kebab must have come from the fridge. I asked for a fresh one after being offered it to be re heated. Fresh was an understatement as I’m pretty sure they just plucked the chicken and popped it raw on my plate. I asked to see the manager Amy who stated all the chicken is pre cooked ?? She then offered to reheat it ??? I said no thank and we asked for a total refund. We didn’t want to complain about the hunters chicken but the managers defensive attitude and the fact we didn’t enjoy it we felt we had no choice. She refused as we had eaten half of my partners chilled hunters chicken as we dare not order anything else. Area Manager Brett and Marstons serving RAW food is unacceptable. Needless to say from the bad attitude we received from your Manager and the RAW food we won’t be back !!

Recommended as a good value place to eat and was overall happy with the facilities and menu selection, wait time to order took a while and wait for food with children took a while but wouldn't put me off coming again when in the area, the only downside was another customer putting there small dog in a high chair at the table next to us was not something I would think is acceptable in a restaurant

We arrived, having not booked in advance, and although the inside seats were fully booked, we were offered a seat outside. I have various dietary requirements, and Karis, who was serving, went above and beyond to accommodate this. She even went and requested an item not currently on the menu for me with the chef. Great customer service.

Dog friendly: for outside seating only. Tad misleading to start but overall decent place to eat and drinks. Food was decent, probably exceeded expectations for a chain pub so good value. Good location to relax away from the busy beach front.

Visited The Honeystones This Weekend For A Family Meal And Couldn't Fault A Thing Food Was Cooked To Perfection, Atmosphere Was Great And Service Was Spot On Expecially Our Waitress Summer Always Going Above And Beyond , She Was Amazing An Absolute Credit To The Honeystones .

We had been looking forward to a family meal. They took our order incorrectly and forgot the children's meal which meant that we had to wait after the main meals had been served. Then unfortunately my daughter found a foreign object in both her starter and main meal. When I complained they were only able to refund the main meal and 1 drink. Management rules. As most of the food is cook from chill they could only explain that this had happened before it reached their kitchen.

Fantastic customer service and food was nice and came in a reasonable time. Was allowed to stop in our camper van in the car park too 😍
