Poco Lounge in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Good gluten free menu. Great service. Chips came out cold but quickly replaced. Can be noisy but good atmosphere.

The only positive thing about this place is the nice decor and atmosphere however the drinks and condiments were the cheapest possible and it shows. The food was barely warm and we ordered the tapas, which were overall pretty rank. The male waiter and female waitress in the dungarees were pleasant however others had a very sour attitude. We had to replace our drinks twice, lemonade came flat and a strange taste… the glasses did not look washed properly either. I am more impressed by local pubs.

The staff were attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. The food didn't take long to arrive and it was delicious. Gluten free Nasi Goreng.

Lovely meal but they need to train or educate staff a bit more , girl on duty was very sarcastic and wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer when it came to what was on offer as regards to the day of the week ( as different days has different items on special offer) we ended complaining to the manager and getting a little bit knocked off , as we was overcharged by the girl who really didn't know what she was supposed to be doing!!!!!

Perfectly located in central Kings Lynn. The food was very good and the staff were helpful and attentive. We were there on a Monday, so very quiet, but the place has a good vibe. The selection of food is very wide and there's something for all tastes.

Food is tiny!!! And so extortionate for this price I’m paying, £15 for a handful of pasta and two slices of chicken. Friends salad 90% rocket and 10% salad, IF THAT. Noodles are fully salad, anyone think I ordered a cabbage. Also whilst we booked a reservation, they completely neglected to write it down, making us wait over 20 minutes for a table.

Shocking ruined my birthday, prices for the portions are outrageous. Felt like a cow eating a £15 dish. And the cocktails are pure ice 🤩.

Came across this place by accident whilst out shopping a couple of years back. Now, every time we shop here, we pop in for lunch. Great service from a very attentive, friendly team. The food is very different, has an Aussie vibe. Delicious variety for breakfast or lunch. Always well presented, great food & good value for money. Definitely recommend.

A truly amazing restaurant with a wonderful ambiance. The food was mouthwatering, and the service was exceptional. Every dish was beautifully plated and full of flavor. We left with full stomachs and happy hearts.

I enjoy a bit of Poco. Been here a number of times. Always front of staff asking for allergies / vegan / gluten free etc. Staff always make you feel welcome. Just wish lounges wouldn't take off vegan items off the menu they used to have a vegan curry sadly no longer there. The bang bang cauliflower noodle dish is very nice. Dogs are welcome here and very cute when you see them 😀

Food was lovely, service was hit and miss the first girl,who served us was lovey,friendly and welcoming, the second trip to the bar was disappointing when i was served by a different girl the interaction was Disappointing and completely different from the first also in the evening the same employee stood there sniggering with a male employee about standing on a puppys tale finding it hilarious in front of customers,not very professionalble at all

Met friend for brunch today & it was always Millie who was closet to us when we had a request/question, she was brilliant & nothing was a problem for her with a smile even when it was our error in not requesting the right milk type when ordering and swapping it over for us. 10 out of 10 for her this morning, we are all so quick to criticise but very slow to compliment when a person adds to the experience by being so lovely.

Modestas is an absolute godsend, he truly outdid himself with his wonderful cooking, he made sure that all the food was hot and delicious before it came out. It was truly an amazing experience and i would recommend it to anyone

Very pleasant atmosphere despite being practically empty just before Christmas.Easy to order the food at the bar and it arrived very quickly.Meals were delicious but quite small portions and maybe not value for money.All in all it's a nice place to eat.

If you want to have your meal in a kids playground and don't actually want to listen to what your fellow diners are saying above the noise of small children hoovering the floor with plastic Dyson things and screaming all around you, then this is the place for you!! Really poor set up..all it needs is a bouncy castle in the room and you're well away!!! Have kids parties ...fine, but control them ?! In an area not right next to other diners who literally couldn't hear each other speak due to the screaming kids that the parents allowed to run riot! Food was average at best and v small portions for what you're paying... first visit and sadly the last for me

Eaten here on three occasions now when visiting family in Kings Lynn. The Beef Brisket Chilli and Tomato Mascarpone Pasta dishes in particular are delicious.

One of our favourite go to places in Kings Lynn on a Saturday lunchtime. Food, drinks and staff just lovely but what makes it special is that our beloved dog can come with us whether we choose to sit inside or out. They also provide free treats and water bowls which is just amazing. Can’t recommend enough if you love your dog and just want to them to be with you when you’re in town and fancy a few hours with good food and drink. Thank you to the owners who are obviously dog lovers too. Great concept. Well done.

I had the miami brunch ths morning, and it was delicious. I could honestly say it was the best tasting breakfast I have ever had. It was so full of flavour! It is a must order, and I will be ordering that again.

Been a couple of times since it has opened but on my most recent visit last week, this place has gone down hill!

I ordered the lounge cheese burger which was absolutely amazing like always. However, the chips were very overcooked and some were even hallow. This has put me off going again sadly.

Again I pop in when I get the chance and there are two no three people who are awesome jasmine Ava and and akki they are awesome

A mixed experience visiting the Poco Lounge. My husband ordered the curry and was very underwhelmed with the quantity of chicken (3 pieces) this was dealt with quickly and the meal was replaced. I ordered the flatbread and it was fantastic! We did find our sitting area was rather messy on the floor and seat and I'm guessing that was from children but should have been cleared. The waitresses were very helpful and the decor great. I would return and have been to others in the chain.

I celebrated my 24th birthday at poco lounge this evening and I honestly cannot thank the staff enough for their amazing hospitality. Everything was spot on, from the food to the service we all thoroughly enjoyed our evening, thank you for making my birthday one to remember!

A spur of the moment decision to try this place, and we were not disappointed. The chilli beef brisket was spicy but still very tasty. Will be back !

The English breakfast in Poco is a hearty classic with perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, savory sausages, and more. The beautiful decor and friendly service make the experience really nice.

Delicious food with a great menu choice. It was hard to decide what to have, as everything sounded so good. I had the Miami Brunch which was really tasty, and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly. My husband had the shakshuka which he really enjoyed too. Staff were all lovely, and the restaurant is very child friendly which made a relaxing visit where you didn't feel the need to rush out.

We dined here twice, lunch and breakfast. Both times the food was a let down, average at best. I would not recommend vs getting a drink.

What an amazing restaurant! We have just been here and had a fantastic time. We have a 2 and 4 year old and they were so accommodating the restaurant is so child friendly which is lovely! The staff are brilliant, friendly, and welcoming. The food was delicious. We all cleared are plates! 100% recommend, and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Absolutely wonderful, we had 2 tapas boards, the onion rings and the Parmesan and garlic fries. Highly recommended - genuinely some of the nicest food I’ve ever had! And lovely serving staff behind the bar…we’ll definitely be back! 😃

This place was buzzing, one of the better atmospheres in Kings Lynn. Because of this service was very slow for drinks and food. But the wait was worth it. This place also caters to dietary requirements and I had a huge range of gluten free options to choose from. Definitely recommend this place!

Happy to recomend We had a party of eight with 2 dogs, they were not able to seat us together, but we did accept 2 tables of 4, and took the fact of being busy as a good thing, the food drink service and atmosphere was of a good standard.

Just like every other Lounge, the menu is the same, the service is excellent, helpful & happy staff. My only reason for lack of 5 stars is the price, bit everywhere is expensive these days. The food was cooked perfectly & tasted great.

Lovely atmosphere, lots of different meals to choose from , portion sizes are perfect. All of us ate every scrap of food rather than leaving some , so no food waste. We come to kings Lynn probably once a month , and have always walked by as we thought it would be to expensive but so glad we went in today, especially when we found out how responsible the prices were and how beautiful the food tasted. Definitely will be visiting again

We are down here on holiday and chose to eat here based on reviews,The place is nice enough, but the food was awful. Probably amongst some of the worst weve ever eaten in a restaurant. I had the beef chilli… and that’s exactly what it was, just beef and chilli, no other flavours, it was disgusting, I never leave food but couldn’t finish this. I had a side of sweetcorn fritters, they were actually quite nice, but for £4.95 I want more than 3 tiny offerings! My missus had a sausage sandwich, patatas bravas and fries, the sandwich was literally a sandwich chopped in half an stuck between 2 slices of dry bread, nothing to go with it in the sandwich, the patatas bravas was a joke, I’ve never seen an offering like it! A few dry over cooked cubes of potato with a bit of of red stuff and a tiny bit of cheese on top, again this was also inedible. Fries were just what seemed to be potato end shavings. Finally, we got two glasses of lemonade, more accurate would be to say a glass of ice with a tiny bit of lemonade. £30+ absolutely wasted. We went here based on reviews, if people think the food here is good, I’d hate to think what their version of bad would be. We certainly won’t be returning We left hungry and had to find something else. The food here is way overpriced and truly disgusting!

Disappointing visit. We came he with friends after hearing it was dog friendly and was impressed with the menu online. Unfortunately our visit led to some disappointment. Out friend ordered a trio of tapas which came just short of £16 for the meal - he received barely anything in each of the plates and was left hungry. Not value for money at all. I had a chicken flatbread, which although tasted nice was cold. We ordered desserts also - I had the banoffee cheesecake which came with no biscuit base. I queried this with the waitress and they did bring me a replacement , however this was still lacking a lot of biscuit. Mocktails were overpriced for what it was . The rest of our groups food was fine and service was friendly. Could have just been a bad day but more attention to detail on quality and quantity of food needs to be paid.

I had the Gluten Free Caribbean chicken Curry. It was tasty but had little or no chicken in it that I could see. The venue is nice and the staff were very attentive

Lovely night out with a group from work, I love how spacious and laid back the atmosphere is! Food was delicious, I had the Buddha Bowl with chicken, couldn't fault it.

My recent visit to this establishment left me with mixed feelings. Despite its perpetual crowdedness, I couldn't shake off my lack of enthusiasm for the overall experience. Ordering a Buddha bowl with chicken, I was hoping for a refreshing burst of flavors, but what arrived fell short of my expectations. The portion size, considering the price point, left much to be desired, failing to justify the expense. While I appreciate the venue's inclusivity, being both dog and kid-friendly, these factors alone aren't compelling enough to entice me for a return visit.

I'd like to begin this review by saying the front of house staff did a fantastic job during our visit, no issues with them whatsoever. I actually felt sorry for them having to apologize to multiple tables for waits & mix ups with the food. During our visit, there was no more than 6 tables in the restaurant (a Sunday evening). Yet my garlic flatbread & 1 bowl of black beans & sweetcorn took an HOUR. When it did arrive, I tipped my bowl of beans onto my flatbread (to eat it somewhat like a pizza) but I didn't realize the flatbread was hard. I struggled to even cut it with a knife. I tried ripping it with my hands but only ate a few bites from the inside which was softer before giving up. I was on a table of 7 people, everyone had their burgers, Buddha bowls & breakfasts before me even though I'd ordered before most of them. 2 people on my table had issues with their meals with ingredients being missing, which the front of house staff went to the kitchen to get for us. We could actually see a chef in the kitchen just standing & staring at the food tickets, looking completely lost. I don't know if this is a new chef or if they were just having a bad day but I'm not sure they're up to the job if they can't handle a quiet Sunday evening shift. We actually had an extra burger come to our table that nobody had ordered (before my food arrived), which we ended up taking because it was clear the kitchen had just cooked too many. I did receive a refund for my flatbread & beans, rightly so. Many thanks to Aki for doing her best in a stressful situation. A few people, including myself, on my table work in hospitality so we can sympathize. This experience won't stop us from coming back to Poco Lounge as we've been MANY times before & have always had good food. However, it was a shame as 3 people from our group had never visited before so this wasn't a great first impression for them. Kitchen - what happened?!

Headline | had better meals and experiences here previously but was a good experience Had breakfast mid week. It was quiet. Some staff didn't really want to interact unless they had to, didn't really smile or make us feel welcome, there was one lady who was very nice stopped to talk and chat to us even though she wasn't our server. The food and drinks were nice 😋, there didn't seem to be an upbeat atmosphere, it needed some louder music playing in the background as if there was Any we didn't hear it.

First time here today and truely amazing. The food was outstanding (coming from a chef thats been cooking for 34 years) The staff are a wonderful team that gel so well together, so friendly. Will definitely be back
