2 pumps off, fridge almost empty. Food was ok but chips dry as !! Did wonder why on a Saturday PM the place was empty……. Twice I have been and won’t be back as not a great experience

DO NOT GO HERE ,if you want a lovely meal, I would love to have had the option for ZERO stars but hey ho 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

we had breakfast here on saturday, very good menu with plenty of options , quality and price was excellent, great staff very welcoming and friendly, definitely worth a visit 😀 plenty of space we sat in the window seat which is lovely on a warm day

A wonderful Sunday roast. Plenty of meat and gravy. Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, mash,carrot& swede mash, peas, carrots, Cauliflower cheese, stuffing. A very enjoyable meal with fast and friendly staff. Good value for money - Will be visiting again.

I've never been to a restaurant before where I have been told from the offset that their aim is to get me in and out as quickly as possible. We booked a table here some weeks ago to celebrate mothers day. It was my daughters first mothers day so she had the choice of where she wanted to go and this place was top of her list. We originally had a booking for 6, however we able to increase this 48 hours before to 7 as we had an additional guest. The place is huge and as it was mothers day we expected it to be very busy, however upon arrival there were only 3 other tables full. We were shown to a table for 6, which the 7th seat had been popped on the end, we requested a highchair for the baby and as our table was pushed upto the window we asked if we could move to the table next to us which had ample room to put the highchair on the other end, however were bluntly told "cant you just pull the tables out and stick the highchair by the window" which we did. The table had 4 sets of drinks menus on it, my daughter and i had already decided before arriving (having checked the menus from home) that we were going to celebrate her 1st mothers day with cocktails, so chose some from the available menus, only to be told "we are not serving cocktails, they take too much time, we want you in and out". I literally sat there with my jaw open at which point the waitress, having realised what she said, offered to make one cocktail from the regular drinks menu, technically not a cocktail, sugar syrup and the flavour of your choice. My daughter opted for Mango, however it was undrinkable as it was pure sugar water, zero alcohol at all. within 5 mins the waitress was back to take out food order. We had 2 people with food allergies, she did not at any point ask if there were any allergies, fortunately we offered this info. My Son-in-law is allergic to eggs, the only food available on the main menu was roast dinner, so he ordered the Turkey roast, when it arrived there was one slice of turkey, due to his allergy they had removed the stuffing balls, Yorkshire puddings, so his plate consisted of one slice of turkey, one quarter parsnip and 2 road potatoes. They had not even made the effort to substitute the removed food for an extra potato or some veg. He had eaten his food by the time they brought out everyone else's, then after we had all started eating they then brought out one small bowl of veg for us all to share, then later a bowl of cauliflower cheese which was swimming in a brown sauce. One of my daughters did not want a main so went for the salmon starter, which was inedible, as it smelt of fish and was so wet where it had obviously been defrosted. At no point did anyone come over to ask if all was ok, nor were they interested when they came to take the plates away as to why 3 people hadn't eaten their food, the quality was very poor. My younger children wanted dessert, 2 of them wanted cookie dough pie, we were advised the kitkat one was almost gone but they had M&M one, so they ordered one of each. Yes the kitkat one was almost gone, so much so that the serving was less than one inch thick, whereas the M&M one was 3 inches thick, however she threw them down on the table so fast and rushed off that i didnt have time to query this with her. When they came to clear the table, the waitress stood next to me and said i will clear your table, then just held her arms out and i had to clear the table and pass everything to her. overall very disappointing, poor food, extremely poor service and very over priced.

Unfortunately had to change this review, it was previously a 5 star with nothing but praise for this place, but last night we had a terrible meal, one of the worst I've ever had. My expectation of what pork belly should be from a restaurant was shattered by such a terrible cut of meat. It was just a large coil of fat with a mouthful of meat in the middle. No sear, no seasoning, undercooked. Upon sending it back we were patronisingly told that "pork belly is a fatty piece of meat", which is true, but it should have enough actual meat on it and cooked in such a way that the entire thing is edible, not what we recieved, which was basically a very bad pork chop. I dont know if the chef actually thought that was a good piece of meat or they were just trying to get rid of some crap stuff they'd bought on the cheap. If they did think it was good, they need to go order pork belly from literally anywhere else that offers it to see what it should be like. Really wish I had taken a picture of it to show how poor it was. On the plus side, the meals that weren't eaten were comped, but we didn't have time to order anything else so we went away hungry. So disappointed as I have previously loved the meals I've had here but I won't be risking it again. The service was good as usual and couldn't fault the drinks.

Best cocktails, food and staff The staff made us feel special as soon as we walked through the door and continued to look after us with orders and service throughout our stay. Just lovely Cocktails were made by proper bar staff that have a lot of love for what they create and the drinks were just sublime. Food was exceptional and a different level for the usual quality you get elsewhere in Kings Lynn. Can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a hidden gem in Norfolk

An excellent experience at The Street - the atmosphere is lovely and I arrived for a meal of 16 to one of the chefs and some of the waiting staff at the door. They kept me company whilst I waited and were really lovely and chatty. I didn't have a starter but I treated myself to a cocktail which was beautifully done by the very charming barman. For main I had a stuffed chicken breast which was PHENOMENAL. It was moist, flavourful and the portions were perfect. Well worth the money, it feels expensive initially but then you get the plate and you know it's worth it. I had a cookie dough pie which was very rich so I had to take some home with me. Overall, 10/10. I would happily go back: for the friendly staff, the great atmosphere and the most. Delicous. Food. I've had in ages. Update: we've been back a couple of times since and it's always a fantastic experience, it's never let us down.

Very disappointing birthday meal. The food slow coming out and definitely not worth the wait.The online menu showed multiple types of steak but only one type of steak was available on the night that was sold out. Partner opted for duck but it was hard and only accompanied with half a small potato half a carrot and some red cabbage. The portion was so pathetic he had to get a burger on the way home! I had a burger which was fine but like the duck was served cold. Absolutely not worth the prices charged, won't be returning. Cocktails were good as was the music otherwise it'd be one star.

booked using the streets online booking portal for the 23/12/23 when we arrived we was told that we had only booked for drinks ?? The waitress found us a seat in what appeared the be the bar waiting area? we didn't realise it was just the Christmas menu only but we went with it ordered starters which was ok but lukewarm, we did ask the waitress to make sure the mains were hotter. Main course was roast beef but we only noticed as we were getting towards the end of the meal and after checking the menu again that we were both missing the roast potatoes, the waitress did offer to bring them in a bowl after we had finished, she apologised and offered us desert for free. we ordered the trifle cheesecake unfortunately the gelatine hadn't been dissolved properly and there were several clumps of it throughout the desert making it pretty much un-edible. we felt that the meal was a total disaster and made even worse having to pay restaurant prices to sit in a bar area despite the effort of the waitress trying her best

Awesome as always. Lovely welcoming staff and very attentive whole time we were there. Guys behind the bar exceptional at what they do. Certainly know how to make cocktails !!! Today we had sandwiches for lunch and level was as good as main menu. Can’t praise enough. Our fave place in Kings Lynn

Good beer selection and tastes well. Clean tidy modern place. Downside is toilets are up a large flight of stairs. Not sure how I made it up and down after a few pints but I did. Good atmosphere and mixed crowd. Good for a weekend hair down session and for food. Groups welcome

The Restaurant is elegant, the staff friendly. The guys they have behind the bar make great cocktails. The food we had was really nice and well executed. This was our 3rd visit, and every time has been ace.

Over price drinks no atmosphere

Went for the first time with the family. Great venue, staff were friendly and food was spot-on. Even the children (who can be fussy) cleared their plates. Will definitely be added to our list of places to eat

We were a group of 40+ guests. One bright side - the rear part of the restaurant, where our group had dinner, was well lit and spacious. Food - Nut Roast was below average, over cooked, substandard taste, sauce was tasteless. Serving staff - most were pleasant and polite. One of the gentleman, who appeared to be head serving staff, was more of a task master than serving guests. Most impolite experience - this gentleman even refused to serve us Sriracha sauce saying that it was out of stock despite the fact that another staff brought us this sauce.

Christmas party with work colleagues, starter of pate was awful, cold toast huge chunks of butter with pate already on toast so not sure where we were supposed to put butter!!! Main meal was cold, sent back clearly reheated in microwave, staff stated my friends was a new meal, however Yorkshire pudding had been half eaten and turned over to cover it up. Staff not really interested stating they have to wait for the meals to come down stairs so that’s why food was cold. Basically £37.00 for sub standard food and service.

Good food drinks are great the staff are very friendly the bar man makes some wicked cocktails

The meals can out just warm. Asked for them to be replaced. This was done with no problems. The beef was to pink, should of been asked how we would like it. Not just served pink. The service was very good.

I had a 3 course. Cooked well but was not exactly packed with flavour. My favourite bit was by far the parsnip soup. That was nice. The service was fine, although drinks are perhaps a bit too strong. The point of a chaser is to dull the taste of the alcohol :) The table was too small for how many of us were there. The room is a bit draughty. Music a bit on the quiet side but good live musician. No coat/cloak room. Order tracking could be better. Toilets need to be more frequently attended for cleanliness. A part from that I'd say 3.5 stars - good but room for improvement.

Nice venue let down by very average food. We had the Katsu curry which was essentially salad in curry sauce ! That is not Katsu curry !!

Went for Norfolk Restaurant Week. Food was OK, service was desparately slow, staff were friendly and helpful, the place was more attuned to drinking and parties. Suspect we are not the target clientele being older.

Went on a Friday lunchtime as part of Norfolk Restaurant Week. Super impressed from the start as we tried to call and book but it went to voicemail. However, they rang us back! Arrived and warmly welcomed, seated etc and as it was our first visit took a while reading menus. Wine menu was interesting and very reasonably priced, great cocktail menu with classics and intriguing specials. Food was excellent and very well presented. We shared the chilli garlic prawns and ciabatta and really fresh tasting salsa on ciabatta with great mozzarella. Next was a vegetable tart on tabouleh and a chicken and bacon tagliatelle in a cream sauce with garlic ciabatta. We ended with a very delicate light blackberry cheesecake with a lavender blackberry compote. The coffee to end was also excellent, poor coffee can ruin an otherwise great experience. The building is a huge open space with loads of room. The bar is stunning. All in just over £80. A lovely leisurely lunch.

We started off with some cocktails that were masterfully crafted. The bar staff really know how to make a great drink. The food was served quickly and was lovely. The waiting staff were polite and made us feel very welcome. All in all I'm happy to pay what they ask for their drinks and food. Well, priced for the quality.

Very disappointed arrived at the Street and was warmly welcomes was very quiet for a Saturday lunchtime seated and given menus drinks duly arrived and order taken starter arrived nice and hot but the wait for the main course was over half an hour and when it arrived was not very hot having a appointment we needed to get to just ate paid and left ..... although there were 5 staff on the service was not great all seemed more interested I thier phones than serving music far to loud to be able to hold a proper conversation sadly a big let down and not cheap !!

Booked our table for 8pm.... waited 20 minutes before requesting someone to take our drink order..... food still hadn't arrived 40 minutes later. Table of 8 next to us had waited an hour, said they would have dessert but couldn't wait any longer and won't be coming back.... another table of 12 who were seated near us when we arrived still hadn't got their food when we left after waiting an hour. Male member of staff rudely rolled his eyes when we decided to leave.... not very professional at all or good for the restaurants image. 👎

We were lucky enough to get tickets for a table for Beyoncé v Rihanna as they do sell out very quickly. Had heard a lot about their Saturday lunchtime special events and had been wanting to book one for ages as only once a month...

Food was shocking my husbands came out burnt and friends meal of rack of ribs was worse than a kids meal even waitress said ribs was bigger at lunch time brought out extra chips to compensate was not interested when complained first and last visit

I am Gluten Free, so was so happy when I found out I could have a burger as they changed my roll to a Gluten free one, it was amazing, the first time I had eaten out and could have a burger, Food was excellent, atmosphere was electric,and the staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble

Avoid it is my advice. Me and my friend booked a table for dinner. The place looked nice. We ordered an alcoholic drink each, bottle of water for the table. For starters we ordered Pork Belly Bites to share, then we both ordered the beef burger with goats cheese. The water never arrived so we had to ask for it again. Then after an extremely long wait, considering the restaurant was probably half full, our Burgers arrived and not or starter. I asked about the starter and the server apologised and said she she'd re-order it again. I said not bother as it was too late not but she said no, she would anyway. The burgers were awful, the meat had been cooked so long it was really dry and tough and the goats cheese was a big cold lump on top. The Pork Belly bites then arrived. We ate the pork belly bites but I couldn't eat the burger it was just so dry it was terrible. So all ate was two mouthfuls and left it all. I called the server over and explained, I even challenged her to try eating it. Someone who I assumed was a manager came and apologised. My friend managed to push through a bit better but still ate about half. Now the best bit. When they brought the bill they had not charged for the pork belly bites at £8.50 because they were late, but we'd actually eaten them becatthry were nice. But they had charged me £16.95 for the inedible Burger I had not eaten, had complained about an they took away. He then offered me a voucher instead. Obviously I declined the voucher for obvious reasons as I'll never be going back. Had they charged me for the belly bites but not the uneaten inedible dry as biltong burger I may have considered the voucher. My advice. Avoid. If they can't cook a burger without cremating it and you don't eat yet they charge you for it, they clearly have absolutely no clue about customer service.

On a few days break from Birmingham we visited The Street for an evening meal and what a restaurant to visit. They made me a cocktail which was not listed without any bother at all. My husband had the stuffed chicken breast which was absolutely fantastic and I had the spiced sea bass which was perfection in itself ! The service was faultless and we appreciated the fact that we were advised that we may have to wait a little while as everything was cooked fresh. We'll worth a visit abd would definitely recommend and return again.

Unable to use the restaurant I had booked for my husband's birthday as they were experiencing plumbing issues my husband, daughter, granddaughter and myself walked into The Street without booking to be greeted with open arms and smiling faces. Escorted to a table our drinks order appeared within minutes. Food took a little longer but when it arrived our meals were absolutely delicious. A very pleasant evening was had by all and I look forward to returning.

The food is good, bit expensive. The waitress staff are attentive and friendly, but the management of the whole restaurant seems to be a bit chaotic, with a long wait for our food.

Beautiful high-end, feel to the restaurant. Very friendly staff who ensured we had everything we needed. Fantastic children's menu with 'real food' which looked very appetising. My two year old grandson loved it. I ordered the American Loaded Chips. Absolutely fabulous and extremely filling. Would definitely have them again. An overall great experience and will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended!

We booked the table with request to have the table in more private area where would be less noisy knowing that there will be a live music night. On arrival we were seated two tables away from musician and speakers. Couldn’t hear each other across the table, we had to ask to be reseated somewhere else. We ordered two glass of different wine, the order was taken, however the manager came over few minutes later, explaining that one of wine we ordered is being sold only by the bottle not by glass, even the menu has the price by glass too. So we bought the bottle.. another glass of wine was forgotten and wasn’t brought and served at all. Then we ordered the cheese platter that is on the menu, our waitress said she needs to check with kitchen if they can make it (????) we are talking about cheese platter. She returned saying that kitchen don’t do cheese platters in evenings. It is laughable. Music is way too loud, especially when this high pitched sound comes up from microphone. It’s not even enjoyable when is that loud, what is the point? It won’t give more quality to the live music. As for one visit there were just too many things that went wrong. Won’t be coming back, it was the first and last time at this place.

Food was ok, bit strange though, I had the oriental dish but it was served on flatbread which didn't suit and I think it was the jalapeño had a strong taste of vinegar which kinda ruined the dish. What a pleasant surprise. Was given a flyer for this place so thought we’d give it a go. It is great. Lovely bright venue. A huge room but lovely and warm. Great staff. Really nice food. Nice little touches like English wines on the wine list. Great value for money. Will definitely be back and my wife is going to take her Cambridge girlfriends there.

Rubbish. Total waste of money. I visited this restaurant for my sons birthday with my family. The food came out cold and tasteless. I had to add so much seasoning to my sea bass The bread with the hummus was like a popadom. My partner left a review on the the same night but it seems like it was removed. Never going there again.

Good food but was so cold could not enjoy are evening food soon got cold asked to be moved but couldn't yet a table of young girls came in said it was cold and was moved instantly we was not the only party that was cold staff couldn't apologise enough when it's a party of 12 I know it's hard to move us but didn't offer us a free drink or a reduction in our bill a lovely cup of hot coffee would have gone down a treat will have to wait till the summer to return when it's a lot warmer

Arrived at 6.50pm and finished meal at 7.15pm. I’m not sure how they managed to cook the chicken and pork dish so quickly! From the state of the chicken and the lame vegetables served with pork it appeared as though the food had been cooked...

Beautiful lunch with great service. Very welcoming staff and comfortable chairs (always a bonus). Loved the different menu and the food was delicious. Will definitely return.
