Amazing experience from the start we had three different members of staff serve us they was all polite, food was amazing and value for money. Would definitely recommend. Ps not local and would return when we come back

We stopped in Kings Lynn on a drive from Sussex to Hunstanton and were seeking somewhere for lunch. Someone pointed us to the Silver Spoon. How fortunate! Spotlessly clean (including the toilet), great service, perfectly cooked food and all for a very fair price. Simply perfect and thanks to the staff.

Fantastic menu-we called in for breakfast and were impressed with the friendly welcome and wide range of choice. Lots of flexibility about what you can have and all cooked to order.

What a expensive cafe.on seeing the prices we ordered two drinks and went on to eat in a well known restaurant chain where they have more competitive prices and for amusement kept a menu to compare finding everything either a third or more expensive.

Both had lunch, choice and amount were very good. Fresh and cooked on the premises. Great value too. Well done.

We went to this cafe yesterday for the first time - but it certainly won't be the last. Super-friendly service, delicious cooked breakfast (best fried bread I have EVER had, and it's a real favourite of mine), generous portions and fair prices. To top it all the whole place is spotless - with the best-equipped and cleanest cafe loos I have ever visited. So pleased we found this place.

The cafe was warm, clean, comfortable, spacious and welcoming. The serving girls were friendly and polite and the food was excellent. What more can you ask for.

Great breakfast. Lovely atmosphere and the owner popped in and spoke with such warmth to his customers. It is clear the regulars love this place and I can see why!

We came for breakfast and left full of ambition. The breakfast was BIG. Beans, chips, eggs, chips, bacon, chips, hash brown and chips. Not at all expensive, friendly atmosphere and to top it off during our meal the owner walked in. He was inspiring, in he walked, shirt unbuttoned, swagger in his step, a sight to behold. This ignited dreams of owning my own cafe, i long to have my own silver spoon. Even if you have to travel from abroad I strongly recommend you give the silver spoon a visit.

We had burger and chips and an all day breakfast for our dinner here it was lovely. We were served quickly and the staff were very helpful. It is clean. The food is freshly cooked to order.

Visited after a recommendation, lovely looking restaurant, my wife is lactose intolerant, but was told no soya milk so unfortunately had to leave, a very sad situation. So went to a restaurant with it.

This restaurant was great before it was refurbished, it it so lovely and airy now, what an improvement, service is always excellent, friendly staff and good food and beverages and very reasonable.

Really impressed with the customer service here, all of the waitresses greet you with a smile, and nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is prepared quickly and is excellent, and the place is always spotless...and very busy, confirming its popularity! Highly recommended!

ok we in kings Lynn want a very nice bright very clean place to eat good food great staff and a warm smile to great you out side the door is a ramp so good for wheelchairs (ect) nice tables set out as you have room to move it is a excellent café and restaurant nothing to much trouble for the great staff food piping hot well set out on the plate very clean toilets including a disabled one I must give this café and restaurant a EXCELLENT marking we will be back

We call in here quite often, either for just a drink or a light snack. Not fine dining by any means but freshly repaired, hot and very tasty. Certainly worth a visit.

Always have a breakfast here when shopping in Lynn. Very good value for money. Very friendly staff. The Lattes are the hottest I've ever had, no lukewarm offerings here. Place is always clean and tidy, never seen used tables full of dirty plates etc which we've experienced in other places. Free sweetie at the till is a nice gesture too. Would recommend a visit if your in the area, we've never been disappointed.

Have had breakfast here once a week for the past ten years. Food is always piping hot as is the tea and coffee, restaurant is ALWAYS spotlessly clean and you are served at the table by really friendly staff. The prices are very reasonable from a toasted tea cake to a full roast dinner or chicken curry. Well worth a visit

The place is clean and tidy, the welcome and service friendly and the food pretty good. I had the breakfast, and the only disappointment was the quality of the sausage compared with the rest of the ingredients. The price is reasonable, and I would be happy to return.

My mum and I visit this cafe every time we come to King's Lynn. We always feel welcome. Food is scrummy. Waitresses are very friendly. We would recommend this cafe when you are next in King's Lynn. 😀😀

Ended up here after walking out of another cafe just out of town. Glad we did because it was delicious. My husband had a curry and I had a roast lamb dinner. A good place to "pop into" when shopping in Lynn town centre. The place can get busy, especially at lunchtimes (so indicating how popular it is). A good range of menu choices from simple snacks to full meals. Friendly and helpful staff.

What a delight, lots of happy friendly staff excellent service. We rarely go into town together even though I work from time to time in Lynn. I loved the ambience as soon as you entered and all staff clearly wanted to do their best for the customer lots of regulars and chat which I always see in the business I am in.I really loved the visit beatiful cup of tea and cheese panini, I spent most of the time people watching and staff speaking to regulars , loved it great food and excellent service

Owned by a Turkish family who really work at making this a success. Beautifully clean and tidy, well furnished and decorated. Huge menu with excellent portions at a sensible price served by friendly staff. Well recommended

We popped in for lunch whilst shopping in Kings Lynn and we were not disappointed.

Tan pronto como entré, me saludaron calurosamente y nos mostraron un asiento; me dieron espacio para contemplar el menú y alguien vino a tomar mi orden poco después de que yo había hecho el menú desplegable. Mientras espera para llegar mi pedido me tomó un poco de tiempo para mirar alrededor y podía ver el lugar estaba muy limpio y bien cuidado. Es un restaurante grande y diría que fue alrededor del 70%; podía ver era un lugar popular para comer. Con sólo dos camareros, hubiera esperado el caos habitual, pero no fue así; el personal era muy eficiente y atento en sus roles que el lugar tenía un ambiente de calma y eficiencia. Hice lo que solemos hacer, estar en una mesa por mí - me sacó mi teléfono inteligente y comenzó a trabajar importante pero apenas se me abrió en facebook cuando mi almuerzo llegamos - que era un servicio rápido! La comida era excelente, perfectamente cocinado, caliente, muy sabroso y no en grasa. En general, una experiencia estupenda comida y volví a trabajar bien satisfecho.

As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the waitress, and shown to where u wish to sit, they are very pleasant and helpful, the restaurant is very clean, I had my granddaughter with me, and the waitresses interacted with her, the food as always was very nice, and plentiful, hot and appetising, a very welcome break, after trecking round King,s Lynn with a three year old, certainly would recommend, what is nice to see, and that's the owner isn't afraid to get his hands dirty, i.e wiping down tables clearing plates, serving customers, well done keep up the good work

Visited here with 2 friends for breakfast.The waitress was very friendly and attentive. We had only been sitting down for a couple of minutes when they came over and took our drinks order. When she brought our drinks out she took our food order. After we had ordered another 5 or 6 tables came in, ordered their food and received it before ours. When we questioned the waitress on this she did apologise and went to see what had happened. When the food came we asked if we could have the three drinks we had ordered filled up for free as we had drunk them. The waitress never came back.We ate our food which was very nice and cannot really complain about that.When we went to pay we asked if we could have the drinks for free, but were told that they could not see an issue as different breakfasts take longer to cook, but other tables who ordered after us were receiving the same food as we had ordered.

I have used this cafe/restaurant on many occasions and never had a problem with any of the meals, service is super fast, the tables are cleared and cleaned quickly. Mainly go late lunch time when it is a bit quieter and must say I love their cheese omelettes.

Passed here plenty of times but decided to pop in early one morning as feeling hungry and so glad we did. We were greeted with a pleasant smile and order taken and food arrived very quickly. Nice big menu with plenty of choice and big portions. Will definitely be going back on a regular basis from now on.

We are stopping here more and more these days, so they must be doing something right. It's so convenient, has plenty of tables, friendly efficient service, well-priced menu and a fast service. It also appears to be very popular and is always reasonably busy. When we visited on one occasion with a wheel chair, it was no problem at all and there was plenty of space to put it. The extra disabled toilet was also a welcome find. We'll definitely keep going there as our lunch stop of choice when shopping in Lynn.

Came here for lunch with my partner. As we entered I found the interior very old fashioned along with uncomfortable chairs. It definitely needs a refurbishment. The waitress was quick to serve us however I found her very blunt and almost miserable to be there.. Our lunch arrived very quick. I had the homemade lasagne which was nice and you could tell it was homemade. My partner had a breakfast and added a few more bits to it which came in 2's which we didn't expect and could have been stated on the menu. I thought the salad i got with my lasagne was strange - carrot, cucumber, tomatoes and lettuce?? Would of preferred a proper salad. Also during our meal we were given our order ticket, which as new customers had no idea what we had to do with it so an explanation would of been good. Overall good meal. However slightly expensive for what you get.

When in Kings Lynn we have our lucnh here I hace had most of the menu now never ever been disapointed. The food is cooked fresh and always hot and portion size more than good. We visited this restaurant on 2 consecutive days for breakfast.On both occasions we were served very promptly with hot food on hot plates.The choice of food wS very good & would suit all people's pockets .The surroundings were very clean & staff attentive

We used to love having a breakfast here, but they've out priced themselves. Only putting certain items on set breakfasts, so that you have to add extras to make it a full breakfast, as you can imagine, those extras soon add up. Service has gone downhill too. No soap in washroom.

Called in today and had Scrambled Egg on toast - there was absolutely no taste or flavour. I wonder if they know to pop a little spot of butter into the pan or in the eggs when they're mixing, plus some salt & dash of pepper. Use thicker sliced bread as well. Really poor cup of tea.Toilets not too bad but a spot of bleach actually down the toilet and to clean the floor with would not go amiss - it would get rid of all the black dirt in the corners. New toilet seat needed in the ladies. Quick service but I would rather them take a little longer and produce descent food.

This is for the most part an all day breakfast / quick fry up cafe and for those items may well be fine. We chose the 3 lamb chops, chips, mushrooms, and tomatoes option.Portions were reasonably generous and apart from the chops well cooked. The lamb chops were thin and very overcooked to the point they were difficult to cut.The light in the gents toilet wasn't working.As good points the cafe was light and clean and the service was friendly and quick.In the unlikely event of a return visit we'll stick to more standard fry ups.

Menu has a lot to offer with typical cafe food but also main meals. Great options available to suit all tastes. Food is slightly overpriced for what is offered as none of it appeared to be homemade. Large space and was very busy so clearly very popular. Nice and clean too.

Popped into Silver Spoon cafe today day off work shooping with my daughters. Always been happy with previous visits but after today will never return again. My daughter paid with her debit card and the transaction failed with several attempts. The girls who work there were lovely but one of the chefs said that it was my daughters card not the machine at fault. A kind customer offered to help but the card worked fine and the bill was paid after another attempt. No apology was offered, absolutely discusting and unprofessional behaviour, she is still upset this evening :(

We have been going to The Silver Spoon for about 9 years when we go to Kings Lynn.Found it when trying to get out of the cold and rain, and never been anywhere else on our visits since. Cannot fault the cleanliness, the food(and plenty of it), the choice of food, and the friendliness of the staff. Have recommended it to friends and they have thanked us for it as they also agreed how good it is. Well done 'Silver Spoon'.

Myself and my children always used to go in for lunch when we were in town. I went in today for the first time for maybe 3 year's. It wasn't nothing like it used to be only the decor. It smelt so strong of old cooking oil. I really couldn't stay in. It is such a shame it used to be a lovely place.

Huge menu, with great breakfasts and lunch specials. Silverspoon do quick pleasant service better than anyone locally. Yes its not the Ritz but if you are after a quick bite to eat and dont mind clean but basic surrounding you can't go far wrong.

I went too the silver spoon yesterday the food is very good.the staff are very helpful and friendly and you cant folt them. It a shame they dont have a nice tom sauce its a cheap one as it let the good food down. The man who was making yhe coffees beens too be darrista trained as he didnt know how too make coffee right .

Stooped off here with some fellow runners for a coffee and bacon roll.We arrived about 9.00 on a Sunday morning and the restaurant was not overly busy. There was 6 of us and they had no trouble in seating us on one table.We were left for a few minutes and then the waiter came and took our food and drinks order. I had a latte which was nice and a bacon roll, the bread roll was nice and fresh and the bacon was cooked so it was a bit crunchy. A couple of the others had rolls too, and a couple had the full English breakfast which looked very good.The restaurant appeared to be clean and tidy and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.They do take care and cash in here which is good.

You cannot get a fry up wrong really can you? Food is fine. Bacon, beans, toast, sausage, hash browns. Not much else to say. The place is clean, it was very busy and we were surprised we got a table so quickly. There were several staff working but it seemed that only one girl was running round doing stuff. Food was Ok, arrived quickly and with a smile. Helped with the hangover though and like people watching.

My partner went in for some food i had scrambled egg on toast which the toast was burnt. My partner had beans on toast which he then found a fly in his beans not nice we will only go in their now for drinks.

We went for Medium Breakfasts and found that there are four different combinations of ingredients to pick from. I chose the B.C version which includes egg, 2 bacon, sausage, fried slice and beans, whereas my son opted for the B.A and its egg, 2 bacon, sausage, beans and chips. There was quite a difference between the two. And drinks are not included.I'm sorry to state that the plated food looks unappealling - very poor presentation. My B.C breakfast was very disappointing, the bacon was scraggy and salty, the egg looked....unappetising. Sam commented "How do they make egg taste not like egg?" My son's B.A meal both looked and tasted better with a hefty mound of factory-produced chips dominating the plate, but again including the over-salty bacon, awful banger, and bizarre egg. Unfortunately he also found several blue threads in his food, not hairs but some other alien presence. I checked out the cooks and none of them were wearing anything blue or fluffy, so this contamination must come from some other source. Not acceptable.I won't beat about the bush - sad to report that the "sausages" served at Silver Spoon cafe are the worst I have ever encountered in any food outlet. Ever. Anywhere. The sausage looks like plastic when it arrives in front of you, the waxy skin has the look of a barrier made out of Joan Rivers' face, to either stop you getting inside, or more likely to stop the disgusting plop inside getting out. There is little or no discernible pork content and the texture.....well, what texture? We sliced one lengthways and pushed a fork down onto the filling. Disgustingly, the amount of force needed to squish through the filling was negligible, and the gooey mess squirted up through the tines like a watery, porky (?) version of the famous Old Faithful geyser. Truly horrendous.Now, here's where the Silver Spoon made up some lost ground. The place is clean, bright and very friendly. The exclusively female servers are cheery, fast and efficient, and smartly presented. Good work! The cafe has a range of tables to accommodate varied-size parties from one to eight diners. The decor though - my son commented "Like an eighty-year-old's living room". Bizarre 3D animal pictures poke out of the walls in between plastic models of various kinds of dog. Crisp, clean and maybe a local theme would be so much better.Our meals averaged £5.50, which means we rate Silver Spoon as Poor value for money.

We have only been to this little cafe' a couple of times and have had brilliant service and a fabulous breakfast. The menu choice is huge and the quality very good. The waitresses wear uniforms and greet you with a smile and lead you to a table. Definitely not a greasy spoon.

Good prices for breakfast. I had the vegetarian English breakfast what is £5.90. I don't understand why they have a vege burger instead of beans.. Not really a breakfast item but they was happy to change it. I tried the tomato but it was so thick that I couldn't eat it, it had a thick skin on so wasn't nice so asked if I could have burger because didn't like it. So that was 2 swapped items they didn't charge me for so I was happy about that.My boyfriend had the millennium breakfast what he thought was ok, but had better.Service was ok, came and greeted us at door with smile, but waitress was completely different story. Taking our order she didn't smile once and seemed so fed up, she kept sighing. We could also hear and see staff members arguing and talking about their social lifes what made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We was going to stay for dessert and give a tip for food but chose not to do either because of the bad atmosphere.The paintings on the wall had food splattered up them and we noticed was only attached by blue tack. Doesn't seem very safe.The menu is very confusing and over crowded. We didn't even realise you could get extras until looking through the menu again at home. The photos make the food look disgusting doing no justice at all for the food. It also says on the front 'our waiters and waitresses will ensure that your order is quickly and efficiently served- with a smile' our waitress obviously forgot that. There is also a completely unrelated photo on the front. I would have thought they would have one of the actual restaurant.The toilet was absolutely appalling. When I got up I noticed there was actually a little pooh smear on the seat. This made me feel so ill so I was lucky to have my hand sanitizer on me. I was scared I had sat on it. The toilet roll was so thin you could tell it was a cheap one. The smell made my eyes water because it smelt like a years worth of wee. I don't even think they clean them.Would come again but would want a better looking menu, improved toilet and a more professional approach from staff.Over all, I would visit again but would like to see

Whilst the waitresses were very pleasant, nothing else about this place is to be recommended. Our cheese baguettes were inedible - hacked-off slabs of a very large French stick, with a barely-there scrape of margarine, and a small amount of grated cheese. We NEVER send food back, but in this case there was absolutely no way we were paying for such unacceptable "food".

If your looking for a place thats cheap , this isn't it. Good food , friendly staff and a good choice is what you get. If you want cheaper, there's other choices.

We visit the Silver Spoon about twice a month, have never been disappointed. They are always busy around lunchtimes, not surprising as they do a range of good cheap sandwiches as well as full cooked meals and a daily specials board. Food is always piping hot, freshly cooked, and tasty.

Popped in here to bottle feed baby and thought I'll just grab a brew. Whilst sat watching people, as you do, everyone was enjoying their food or drink and the staff were happy to deliver to the table as I had my hands full.Further surprise in the baby changing facility was a purpose made baby changing station -wow! Not an annoying plastic fold down not enough room table.Very clean and recommend for friends and family visiting with babies in a similar situations.

me and my family (7 of us total 3 adults and 4 kids) went here after a day at the beach we diced to stop in Lynn for a bite to eat. The was available to accommodate us and was very helpful we was shown our table and they left us to decide what to drink they came back about 5 minutes later and took our drink order and went to get them they came back quickly and asked if we was ready to order our food and we was. There was about a 15 minute wait for food and it was an average size portions and the food was okay, I will visit here again.

Often come here when am in Kings Lynn...always have a very nice meal...there is plenty of choice and it's very reasonably priced...staff always very friendly...you can't go wrong by eating here...very good :-)

A lunch time drop-in place. Always spotlessly clean and the staff are attentive and pleasant. I haven't tried a great range of their menu (which is vast): but what I have seen, what I have tasted and what other people say about the place all produce a good impression.It is what it is - it might have been a "greasy spoon", but it certainly isn't and deserves a decent write up. If you find yourself in the middle of Kings Lynn (pedestrianized streets), then seek it out and make use of it. It is worth visiting. And thank you for the good service I have always received on my infrequent visits.

Love the breakfasts one of the best places in kings Lynn for breakfast nothing too much trouble for them freshly cooked although this time my beans was not as hot as they could have been also the coffee machine was broken which they were having fixed at the time

Regularly eat here when in town. Spotlessly clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money. Menu's not fancy but plenty of choice. Child and disabled friendly

we love the meals here and have been using it for years, highly recommend it. pleasant surroundings and friendly staff but...one problem and it's our only problem...please let us settle first before asking us for a drink! sometimes my bum isn't on my chair! not really a criticism but it does annoy us!
