Brancaster Beach Kiosk in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

It looked like a nice kiosk. Had all the kiosky things I’ve come to expect from a kiosk.

Instant coffee being mis-sold as lattes/ flat whites/ espresso etc £3.50!! Provide proper coffee or drop your prices! That's my only bone though, perfectly respectable range of beach tatt and deep fried goods.

Great and promot service, Coffee better than expected (expected just hot water with instant coffee).

Never actually been open when Ive been there and there are no other food options for a long way. Edit in reply to comment: Ive been once at 6pm Friday evening and once at 6.30pm. The beach has been busy both times.

Ordered a cheeseburger wasn't aware it came with a long brown hair, oh well Another point is that there isn't enough bins around especially dog poo bins near the entrance of the beach to many poo bags just laying on the walls,

Friendly facility at Brancaster Beach, perfect for a cuppa, chips, icecream or a cold drink when enjoying the beautiful beach.

Do not rely on this being open year round. Mid-February midweek, it was completely closed and no immediately nearby options for food/drink (unless you fancy becoming a member of the golf club!) - edit: owner responded to say the kiosk is open from Easter to October! Wish the hours were better updated and advised. During off season, assume it’s closed and bring your own thermos and picnic. No seating area. When open, options are good but limited for coeliacs. Wish there was a water tap to top up a water bottle. Toilets onsite, just a very short walk away, so well located and opposite the car park. Edit to respond to owner: I totally understand, it’s that there are no opening hours on Google Maps at all, and no opening hours visible on the kiosk itself. It really would be helpful to make the opening times obvious. Non locals won’t necessarily know so just hopeful hours can be updated or made visible!

Only had a tea and chocolate bar but I'd earned them after pushing my bicycle a few miles through the sand. Service was quick enough even though it was rather busy.

In the middle of a long bike ride from Ely and this was my stop off. This place was spot on for what I wanted. I had a sausage and bacon bap with cheesey chips. The bap was crammed full and the chips were sooooo good. Much needed for my stint home and it was so nice enjoying my food sat on the beach.

This little kiosk is a wonder. The only place near this gorgeous beach. It sells all the usual beach needs, bats,balls etc The tea and coffee are lovely and the food is simple but lovely and not overly expensive. It makes our day at the beach to be able to pop and get these little things

I had only the bacon and sausage bap but I can tell you it was one of the BEST bacon and sausage baps I have ever had.... Where to begin.... the bap itself was soft and fresh. The perfect stage for this performance. Into this went some beautifully cooked and tasty bacon. Easy to bite through, lightly charred, on point, perfectly cooked Now... the clever bit. The sausages were split in half lengthways and then fried until kinda crispy. Throwing this clever touch into the middle of this bacon bap is a genius move. You get a fried slice, crispy, crunch with every bite. it's bloody lovely... If I lived in the Outer Hebrides, I would make the occasional trip to return to the Brancaster Beach Kiosk for this extraordinary bacon and sausage bap. Good? No... It's FABULOUS. (the beach was ok - sand, water, flat, Norfolk.. the usual shizzle. Car parking - extravagantly priced... but who cares: the bap was SUBLIME....)

Great kiosk to have within such close proximity to a car park and lovely beach. There are also toilets nearby. Lots of cooked snacks available together with drinks, ice creams, etc. Lots of children's beach toys too. The bacon butties we had were very nice and wonderful to enjoy them on the beach. Handily, they take card payment. If heading for the beach by car, pay attention to the signs advising of tide times as the car park sometimes floods.

All you need from tea's and coffee and biscuits to burgers and chips. Ice-creams of course as well as any beach implement you might need as your child has a melt down due to a broken spade... Queues always move quickly. And best part - Apple pay accepted...

First off don’t be expecting The Ritz; it’s a beachside sandwich bar and as such should be compared to similar such establishments. Food is freshly prepared; staff are helpful and friendly; the menu is far more varied that necessary maybe and all the better for it. I won’t hesitate to use them again.

Great little place providing an important service given its the only option by the beach. Food is as you would expect from a small cafe with a limited menu which is understandable. The only slight gripe I have is the price of some of the items sold, fully expect there to be a markup on toys and stuff but some were more than double the retail price which as mentioned I understand but it still don't make it any more enjoyable to pay over the odds... I know, I know.. no one is forcing me to pay anything hence the positive the rating. Although it does seem like they are missing a trick by not serving fish and chips, but its an obvious one so sure there are reasons. Attaching a pic of the menu.

This is a nice beach, the little shop is okey although a bit pricey. Parking is £5 for 2 hours or £9 for all day as of the date this review was written. The beach itself was great, it was a nice day out!

Great place for a snack on the beach.

Really handy to be able to buy ice cream, drinks and snacks during a walk along the Norfolk Coast path and nice to be able to sit on the beach eating some chips

Great cafe straight on a wonderful beach. Only cafe there but only one needed. Next to toilets. Parking £9 all day of £5 for 2 hours. Great food and spot on service.

Friendly people and a very useful & welcome little cafe. Open in October which was great! They sell beach paraphernalia for the kiddies (& young at heart) too.

This kiosk is excellent, lovely snacks and sandwiches. The staff are all so friendly, nothing is too much. Well done Team She’d, you are a godsend!

What a fab little kiosk serving delicious food and drink that is really friendly and great value for money and so clean and well kept. We visited today for the first time and it was great to have the option of sandwiches, they were generous in filling and were made freshly. The chips were nicely cooked too and we all enjoyed our treat which allowed us to spend longer at the beach. Such a treasure to find. :-)x

We visited Brancaster beach on our arrival for a weekend in Norfolk and decided to have a sandwich. I expected the usual packaged, half filled, limp offering and was very surprised to receive a fresh sandwich, filled to bursting with chosen filling on a paper plate and in a paper bag Fantastic, would not hesitate to use again Orders taken one side and collected the other

The Kilsk offers a good range of ice creams, the staff is friendly. There can be long queues during peak times in hot sunny days.

Always friendly staff, tasty food and lots of options. Options of food and also beach toys for the kids.

Thought I'd get this up to date. The kiosk is open and offers good snack food such as sandwiches, hot and cold, chips, hamburgers etc, a good range of hot and cold drinks and a range of beach stuff, bucket and spades, footballs etc. Very reasonably priced as per the price list I put in photos. All good and ideal after a long walk as we had, or if spending the day on the beach.

I was amazed by the food and drink choices for a kiosk! The hot chocolate was sooo good, really creamy and full of flavour. We moved onto Wells later in the day and had another hot chocolate from a more expensive deli and it was nowhere near as good. Give these smaller businesses your support - they’re great at what they do!

This is a very friendly kiosk. Staff take all the precautions they can re Covid and social distancing. They have a good selection of items to buy, service is quick and food and drink well priced. Just the sort of place you like to find...nice staff, good tuck and drinks. The one downside was the four people outside with 'Horray Henry' voices who don't seem to have learnt the four words social and distancing, and excuse and me. But you can find these people anywhere

The Beach Kiosk is the only place by Brancaster beach to buy anything. We had a cup of coffee each, very reasonably priced and friendly service. Snacks available, also all the things that you and kids would want for the beach.

If you go to Brancaster Beach be aware that this is not a place with a promenade and lots of kiosks, shops and arcades. Let me tell you it is not. What you can expect is a lovely sandy beach, a golf club, toilets and the Beach Kiosk!With that in mind you might expect high prices and a very limited amount of food and necessities. Again wrong. What you will find is very friendly staff, a great variety of snacks, drinks and hot food all at very reasonable prices. Add to that you may have forgotten the beach necessities such as buckets, spades, windbreakers, mats and don’t forget the very important sandcastle flags. You will find them here at low cost.At the moment you may find you have to queue in a socially distanced way but my experience was that it was orderly and the efficient staff made sure orders came out quickly but also with quality.Enjoy the beach but support this lovely outlet.

The Kiosk has done everything it can to be correct to the rules.It is the public that are really failing. Most were queuing to get to the Kiosk correctly, but as the the toilets are just beyond the Kiosk queues became confused. The car park was chaotic, a gentleman in high viz was doing his best, but the whole world appeared to be visiting this Friday.

Good clean cafe offering excellent range and quality of food. Well marked out 2m queuing area and hand gel on the counter. Food good quality and freshly made. Ice creams, buckets and spades also available,

Love the smoked salmon baguettes! They are made to order and when you sit in the sun overlooking the water and eat them you are close to heaven!

Snacks and drinks on the way to the beach. Ice creams on the way back delicious. The staff were very busy, but were very pleasant.

It’s the only place to get a cuppa or ice cream so a captive audience. Felt it was ok not as expensive as we thought would be being only one.

It never ceases to amaze me how these lovely staff keep up with the amount of customers they have. They sell everything, the kiosk is like a tardis, how they can fit everything in it is amazing. Lovely food and little gem on the North Norfolk coast. I have been coming here since 1962. Keep up the good work.

Always our go to beach. Normally no problem to find parking. Nice little kiosk to buy snacks and drinks. Clean beach, dog friendly too.

Located next to the public car park and Royal West Norfolk Golf Club this excellent beach cafe with all you need for a day at one of the most wonderful beaches in Norfolk.

Came off the beach and stopped for a drink Ordered chips and a toasted sandwich. Absolutely perfect after a morning of sea air. Very friendly

Bought sandwiches and drinks all freshly cooked delicious and good value, would recommend. I went for a beef burger which I rated highly and my wife had tuna mayonnaise which was enormous. Quick service too.

A lovely sandy beach, kids & dogs loved it. Public toilets were disgusting thus 1 star deduction.

After spending a couple of hours walking on Brancaster Beach decided to stop for an ice cream. Lots of choice. I love Magnums but not at £2.50. Had a soft ice cream cornet and was charged 40 p for the flake, if you wanted syrup that was another 10 p. Years ago that was all thrown in. However the ice cream was delicious, as good as any I’ve had.

We hadn't taken a packed lunch to the beach so stopped here - it was a little pricey but they do have a captive audience!

Great food at great prices! All made to order. Also sells lots of beach odd-and-ends to keep everyone occupied.

Lovely staff, perfect selection of buckets, spades, balls for dogs etc. Soup for a cold day, ice creams in the sun, and just before you get to the beach, so perfectly situated.

We visited to take a walk along the beach with our dog in the glorious autumn sunshine. Lovely coffee and ice creams and a wealth of local knowledge. Do check the tide times - in spring tide conditions the road and car park can flood!

This is a beautiful beach offering fantastic scenery, soft sand, boats, gulls, sea shells, and much more. It's a dog friendly beach so take your pal with you.

We took the dogs to the beach every morning and we stopped to have either a hot drink , bacon butty or toastie.

This is a lovely little kiosk situated next to the carpark for the beach. You'll find pretty much everything for the family you'll need here as part of a day out on one of the best beaches around. You do pay over the odds on items like windbreakers, food and the classic bucket and spades...but it's the convenience factor that you have to consider. Due to the location of the beach there is nowhere else to help you with those crucial items you may have forgotten to bring with you.

Expensive, but reasonable snack food. Where else can you go if you don't want to get back in the car and drive away from the beach!

We just had a coffee after a walk. It is stocked with beach stuff ice cream etc. It’s not always open in off peek times.

Great example of getting the offer right and then consistently delivering. Unpretentious food, prepared and cooked to order with quick friendly service and all the buckets and spades, kites etc you could ever need. Still as good as when we were last here 2 years ago.

Always stop off for a crab or prawn sandwich when in the area. Yum. Always fresh and worth the money.

This is an excellent place to stock up on beach goodies, drinks, ice creams and snacks. It's in an ideal location between the car park and beach. Toilets also available nearby.

Fantastic service food is just what the doctor ordered after a few hours on the beach hot burgers or a cold ice cream They also stock everything u will of forgotten from the wind break to the mallet or just another bucket and spade

This popular beach shop serves hot and cold drinks, ice creams and a great selection of beach toys. Avoid the cappuccino and lattes as they are tasteless and not worth the money. Stick to cold drinks and you won’t be disappointed. We haven’t tried the food but the chips did look and smell good!

We did not buy food or drinks but there was plenty of it and they were cooking chips on a very hot day! We bought a beach parasol for a very reasonable price.

A busy little beach hut selling all the usual ...buckets, spades, games etc. Also food and ices, and of course o good cuppa.

Brancaster really is a hidden gem. Unreal how beautiful the beach is compared to Hunstanton which is only a few miles down the road. Brancaster has soft sand and you can walk for miles when the tide goes out. Even discover the hidden shipwreck. Only £4 to park all day (get there early to avoid long queues to park on hot days) and the beach kiosk has everything you could wish for; buckets and spades, postcards, windbreakers, kites, flip flops, body boards, plus lots of yummy food. We’ve only ever had ice creams but will definitely try something else next time. Lots of dogs on the beach and ideal for families.

Great little kiosk if you have left any of your favourite beach toys at home, you can't miss it as it's between the car park and beach access. this is an excellent beach and dry wide at low tide. You can lay on the flat or on the dunes to get the most of any coastal breeze.

Nice place to spend quality time with families, also good spot to learn kitesurfing with surf board

We had a lovely day out at Brancaster with friends. Car park massive, and we paid £4 to park all day. Toilets were surprisingly pleasant and fresh and clean (unlike some other seaside toilets) there is a beach shop and ice cream shop close to the car park and the entrance to the beach is opposite.

Big car park, £4 for the day, beautiful sandy beach with some shells, currents are fierce and no life guards, perfect for dog walking, little shop selling hot food and bucket and spade type things. Also a golf course.

Been going to Brancaster for 57 years lovely beach, brilliant beach shop. Never ceases to amaze me how much stuff you can buy there. Fantastic.

Love this part of the Norfolk coast. If you like a nice quiet walk and a good pub lunch, this is the place to visit
