The service was good and the food was nice enough but way overpriced, even before the ‘optional’ 12.5% service charge had been added. £41.00 for two coffees, two sandwiches and a takeaway flapjack !! Steep !!

Absolute gem of a place. Well stocked farm shop with plenty of fresh fruit and veg as well as local wines, gins and produces. The cafe was exceptional, very attentive service and 7 of us turned and not a bother to get the tables organised. The food and drink ordered was delicious - good selection for Gluten Free also. The paninis were good portions and the cakes amazing. Highly recommend to stop here for a cuppa, lunch or just a cake!

Would avoid unless you want burgers it was terrible food the pub was nearly empty and the menu was mostly burgers a few chicken and rice dishes not what I was expecting I thought when I booked the table it was street food for takeaway not for the restaurant I thought they had a different menu would not come here again

Came here for a light lunch with family. Very nice and clean atmosphere inside with pleasant decor. I, with an egg allergy often feel unwelcome in restaurants, and find it difficult to relax and enjoy meals out, but here, no request was too much trouble. The staff were kind and patient, with the chef even coming out of the kitchen to reassure me, and check on details of all of our meals. I've never felt so welcome and at ease in a café and the extra efforts of the owners of The Spontaneous Cuppa really made a difference. I ordered a baked potato, with cheese and chives: the side salad was delicious, as was the potato, and the rest of my family thoroughly enjoyed their meals too. Feeling included in meals like this is important, especially for those of us who have allergies and dietary requirements. I can thoroughly recommend The Spontaneous Cuppa to anyone looking for a tasty lunch, especially to those with extra dietary requirements.

We stopped here thinking we would have lunch, sadly it was disappointing, service was poor ,tea was cold and scone "cream" was piled on scone no option for me to decide ( not real ceam) sandwich huge but not tasty, room was cold. They were busy getting organised for night market so understandable but we won't be back sadly

A modern clothing shop for both gents and ladies with the personal touch. Very good staff who are always very helpful every time.

The atmosphere was lively and fun, very busy but we were welcomed by locals and staff alike. Our daughter (nearly 9) was abducted by the landlady’s daughter for a couple of hours and had a lovely time. The food was good but beware, the opening hours and food service times are limited so best to check before going! I loved the fact that it was a pub, not one of these modern bars/restaurants, unfortunately the only ale on tap was Greene King but I did enjoy the Newcastle Brown.

Been in before a couple months back and had nice tea and scone - no issues. However yesterdays Afternoon Tea choice was big let down - way too little sandwiches - way too much cake - way overpriced

One of our favourite place to visit for a small bite, a real treat for my children! There is accessible parking close to the doors, accessible entrance and accessible toilet facilities (the door is not weighted and holds itself open which most accessible facilities forget!). The cafe is quite crowded with tables but staff are very proactive at helping and creating space when needed. A good range of treats, sausage rolls and scones are my childrens favourite. Always affordable prices too, a snack and drink for two kids is always less than £8. There are no gluten free options but it is a very small cafe so it would be very difficult to have a specific contamination-free zone to facilitate allergies/intolerances. There are no fresh fruit options either. Staff are always helpful, friendly and non-judgemental. My son has developmental disabilities which can make visits out to places uncomfortable but the staff here have never been anything but welcoming and compassionate. Its often quiet when we visit which is helpful for us as both kids can get overwhelmed quite easily. We love to spend some time in the park after so makes for a cheap and wholesome afternoon or morning out :) The hall itself has lots to offer for everyone - Karate for adults and children, Megabops childrens dance which is a wonderful sensory experience, Sewing group and much more! I wish our village had this wonderful facility but I am grateful its only a short drive from us!
