One of our favourite place to visit for a small bite, a real treat for my children! There is accessible parking close to the doors, accessible entrance and accessible toilet facilities (the door is not weighted and holds itself open which most accessible facilities forget!). The cafe is quite crowded with tables but staff are very proactive at helping and creating space when needed. A good range of treats, sausage rolls and scones are my childrens favourite. Always affordable prices too, a snack and drink for two kids is always less than £8. There are no gluten free options but it is a very small cafe so it would be very difficult to have a specific contamination-free zone to facilitate allergies/intolerances. There are no fresh fruit options either. Staff are always helpful, friendly and non-judgemental. My son has developmental disabilities which can make visits out to places uncomfortable but the staff here have never been anything but welcoming and compassionate. Its often quiet when we visit which is helpful for us as both kids can get overwhelmed quite easily. We love to spend some time in the park after so makes for a cheap and wholesome afternoon or morning out :) The hall itself has lots to offer for everyone - Karate for adults and children, Megabops childrens dance which is a wonderful sensory experience, Sewing group and much more! I wish our village had this wonderful facility but I am grateful its only a short drive from us!

Although not open every day due to it being run by volunteers in the village, all the luscious cakes are home made, and a wide choice. Sometimes they also do sausage rolls, and Bacon rolls at weekends, I have even seen some Dutch visitors enjoying Baguettes and a wide variety of coffees as well as tea. A very pleasent and friendly place for a break wherever you are from.

Lovely homemade cakes and snacks. Next to Marshland St James park so you can watch the kids playing safely whilst you have a cup of tea and a cake.

It’s lovely inside, so much to look at and things for sale too. I ordered a sausage egg and bacon roll. It was quite big! It came on a warm plate and the meat was from priors butchers. The teapots and crockery were vintage, loved them. I saw they catered well for gluten free and vegetarian options too. The cafe is dog friendly so as a dog lover, sitting by the door was fun to greet them as they came in. Can’t fault the food, parking, and all the lovely things to look at. I think it could be made more cosy by maybe putting up small partitions/ trellis in some areas maybe. They had a large selection of amazing cakes too!

Excellent dog friendly cafe. Friendly staff, good selection of reasonably priced food, including vegetarian and vegan options. Our dog loved the home baked dog biscuits.

Would avoid unless you want burgers it was terrible food the pub was nearly empty and the menu was mostly burgers a few chicken and rice dishes not what I was expecting I thought when I booked the table it was street food for takeaway not for the restaurant I thought they had a different menu would not come here again

I visited this cafe today for the first time. The staff were very friendly. There was plenty of choices for a lunchtime menu and also reasonably priced for Burnham Market. The drinks we ordered came out fairly swiftly and the food not long behind.Nicely presented and tasty. Its obviously very popular and we will definitely return again soon
