Absolutely amazing from beginning to end, there was a party Of 17 of us and we couldn’t fault a single thing. Thank you for amazing food and amazing service! 5🌟

Such a delicious Sunday lunch today thank you so much, my partner said no offence to you and your mum that's the best gravy I've ever had, we came today as a family to remember my lovely Dad, he built the arches and the extension beyond in the restaurant, thank you so much for seating us under the arches an emotional day for us all.

Great from start to finish - cocktails to desserts. 5 different cocktails all arrived at the same time and tasted good. 5 different starters all served hot and very tasty. 4 different meals all served piping hot, great flavours. Too full for desserts all round but the selection offered was fantastic and both those that we ordered were praised by all.. Been before and certainly will return again. Couldn't fault any part of the evening food, staff and management all great.

Had a perfect meal here. Staff very friendly and service good. Had smoked mackerel pate for starter which was devine. My husband had the chilli prawns which he said had just the right amount of heat. I then had the minted lamb which was delicious. My husband had a ribeye steak which was cooked rsre perfectly. He said it was the best steak he has had for a long time, and he is very picky. I then had syrup sponge and custard which was yummy. My husband couldn't fit anymore food in. Togerher with 2 pints of cider and 2 bellinis the bill was £100. Would thoroughly recommend. We will be back

Odear we have as a Group been going to the Barn for many years. We use to have some of us having Starters.Main and some having dessert. But last time we went none of our group had a Starter. None had Dessert. Just a Main course. The reason is that the prices _ seem to be expensive in view of the portion size. The Food is still very good, friendly Staff. Great venue. Another Restaurant we visit Regular. The prices have also Risen. But the portion size is still Very good . Hope to come back.

I’ll start off by saying the food is good, better than good actually and deserves better. The management is horrendous, they are so unorganised and full of lies. We have had our meals changed, cancelled and not issued refunds on deposits… disappointing dozens of people we know. This is has happened on multiple occasions. When I go to write my opinion of this on Facebook, I have been blocked and censored. The management are therefore consistent with their lies and seem to be running a dictatorship with their state run media. Do not go here, do not reason with the management, do not waste your time and money on this place

The restaurant is a lovely setting and this was our second visit as we were staying in the area. On our first visit two years ago I would have said the food was excellent and that was the reason for our return but unfortunately this time the food was not as good. I chose the Hunters chicken and the sauce was far too thick and rich in tomato for my liking as were my husbands barbeque ribs both had a tomato overload . We also felt quite rushed almost as if they were waiting for us to leave ,considering we were seated at 7.30 we felt that this was unnecessary. We won’t rush back !!!!

Visited for Sunday lunch with my wife for our anniversary - what a superb find ! We were met with a friendly welcome as we arrived and taken to our table straight away. Drinks order taken and they were delivered promptly by a friendly waiter. After a very short wait a waitress came over to our table to take our food order, she was very friendly and helpful. The HUGE roast dinners arrived promptly with a smile and we tucked in......the dinner was excellent, nothing negative whatsoever. The sides came in separate dishes and as soon as we had dished them up our waitress asked if we would like them removed- a small gesture, but very welcomed. Midway through our main we were asked if everything was ok with the food, and it was. Our decision for dessert was a sharing assiette, 4 small tastes of delightfulness which did not disappoint. Again our dessert waitress was super friendly and helpful in explaining the specials for us. We had our table for a 2 hour slot and we were finished by an hour and a half but we were told we did not have to rush out and to relax. Overall the highlight of our visit has to be the tip top service from the members of staff we had the pleasure of meeting. The food came a very, very close second and was excellent. We will be returning and thoroughly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Had a great meal last night celebrating my Mother in Law's birthday. Had Chilli King Prawns for starter followed up with a main of 8oz Fillet steak served on a Lava Rock. Both were delicious. The service was great, the atmosphere for a Tuesday night was good too. Would highly recommend.

First visit, will not be long before we are back. Service was awesome and food was fantastic. Had wild mushrooms to start. So good. Pork rump for main. Just wow. No room for pudding so had port and an espresso. Next time not eating for 2 days so can get pud in as well..lol

Dissapointing Valentines meal was literally out in an hour and the steak we ordered which wasnt cheap bill £80 +was literally a tiny flat iron steak which was too rare for me a bit of sauce and a plate of chips no grenary,mushrooms,onion rings or anything else offered very dissapointing for the price and definitely not romantic or value for money

Nice menu and food for an evening meal but Sunday roast was very average. The turkey was beautiful though but the nut roast tasteless and stodgy and all came swimming in way too much gravy- should have asked for it in a jug as it made everything soggy. New girl who served us ignored our requests and gave us the wrong order and someone else’s bill! Wont be returning on a Sunday…

First visit for a Sunday lunch meal - wow! Took my partner and elderly parents. The whole experience was so easy and seamless, from booming online to arrival. The service was impeccable- the waiting staff were young, but knew their job - knew what all the dishes of the day were, clearly have been well trained, which is not always the case these days. The food was fantastic - good choice and high quality, well cooked and presented. The restaurant was full (always a good sign), but the tables were well spaced out so there was not that feeling of being crammed in, with one of our party being in a wheelchair, was a great bonus. It was great fun to see the robot delivering the deserts - it wasn’t just the kids who were fascinated by it 😂😂. Well done everyone- we can’t wait to come back!

We returned to The Barn after some months and can honestly say that both the food and service remain excellent. 4 adult meals and deserts and not a bad word to say from anyone. Thank you for your continued effort to provide a good food option in this area.

Breakfast was absolutely lovely, poached eggs on our full English were cooked to perfection, not too busy so it was very chilled out, perfect for a Sunday morning 👌 will definitely be going again! Maybe this Sunday 😆

Took my family for Sunday lunch Sunday 22nn Oct to help celebrate my wife’s Birthday. 7 adults 3 children 2 baby’s . Warm welcome service good . We all had a Roast Dinner the Yorkshire Puddings was burnt on the top . I had ordered Beef & Turkey never have I been served such a small portion of meat one wafer thin slice of each the size the palm of your hand !! Plenty of Vegetables and nice gravy . Not impressed I did complain to the Chef / Manger when I paid the bill . As a gesture he deducted one main meal from the bill £15.95 the bill was £185.00 . We had one round of drinks no starters no desserts .

Food amazing except the onion rings which were greasy/over cooked and missing most of the main ingredient - it was commented on and before finishing the sentence the waitress did it for us / ring empty, so as she obviously was aware then the rings should of been deducted from the bill surely! Over priced on some meals which shamefully makes you feel that a revisit isn't pending! Staff and service exceptional. Not sure about the robot as crashed several times and restricts the barn atmosphere. Honest as can be.

From start to finish was superb. Very friendly and efficient staff. Gorgeous venue with superb food. Really good size menu to choose from and just gorgeous food. Thanks so much for a lovely meal. We will certainly be back.

Really enjoyed our evening here. Lovely setting and friendly staff with great food . There were 5 of us we all had different mains and desserts and each one of us all loved our food which was super tasty and lovely presented. We booked The Barn as our youngest daughter recommended it. We received a friendly welcome. Being on a healthy eating regime and being weighed in the morning meant I needed to be careful. I didn't want to put on all the extra weight that I didn't need. I bravely asked for potatoes without any butter, dressing on the side and any fat taken off my steak. The staff were so helpful and q accommodating. Very friendly and helpful staff. Meals delicious. Meals came to our table by robot!! Would definitely go here again.

This spot was great for a night with friends and family, with delicious meals, a wonderful atmosphere, and plenty of wonderful service. The robot taking out the food to patrons was also delightful and fun to watch every time it appeared. The staff was friendly and wonderful and we had a great time even with a large group.

Went for an anniversary meal. The barn is lovely inside the old part but we were in the extension. Lots of space but for some reason we were squashed in against the wall. I had halloumi burger - the burger and homemade slaw were very good but the chips were awful tbh - dry and a bit like cheap frozen chips. I had the pavlova which was ok. I also thought the robot delivering food was just a gimmick and distracted a little from the setting. Not sure I would rush back as a bit disappointed all round.

Second visit here, and the second was as good as the first, and we have booked a third visit!The drinks are cheaper than most pubs, so feels good not to be ripped off!!!! The food well its spot on, we had a table of 4 and all starters looked great. between us had three different main meals....American braised beef, marinated pork steak and a fish and chips,,,really really nice and good sized portions, our friend in face could not manage it all, and took some meat back for their dog!!! Deserts,,,no...we were all full!!!!

Lovely meal great staff. Had a nice pre meal drink in their cozy bar, then taken to our table, thoroughly enjoyed one of the best starters I have had, wild mushroom. Sirloin steak to follow was served with a great plate of food, only think stopping me giving this an excellent rating was that both our steaks were ordered medium rare, they were both cooked medium, but unfortunately that seems to happen in most restaurants the steaks get a tad cooked more than you ask for!!!! 5th time i have used the Barn and each time the food standard has declined service is good atmosphere is good and cleanliness and Covid - 19 practices' are up to standardthe food was plentiful but the chips were TERRIBLE they were brown and soft and remember you eat with your eyes if it looks good it usually is good the ribeye steak was passable the fish was passable disappointed YES will i return for a sixth time NO would i recommend NO

Just back from a surprise birthday meal in one of their pods at The Barn. Cannot recommend enough...cosy, warm, quirky, magical all rolled into one plus lovely, piping hot food. The staff did us proud on such a wet day, especially Jenson who was so welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Will be back again soon

OK, unusual but dined there twice in a few days & loved it (32nd Wedding Anniversary Thu & Chris and Joy here for a L/We so two special occasions). Both were remembered by great fare off a good / varied menu & great staff team in ambience; 2 x VG+ meals thanks ! Restauranteur even came over on Sat pm to explain / apologise (?) for delays in freshly cooking choices as if it was necessary - we enjoyed a longer meal in best company !

Our first Sunday lunch out since my husband was diagnosed with coeliac disease. He requested gluten free roast which arrived with gluten free Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and gravy also plain cauliflower while I had cauliflower cheese. The staff were very professional with our requirements and we ate with confidence. Josh took time to explain which desserts were suitable and we were pleased to have a choice of 3 gluten free options. The food and service were fantastic. Thanks

We visited as a group of six ladies on Thursday night and had a wonderful meal. Two of our group are gluten intolerant so the chef/owner came to our table and talked us through the options (there were loads!) and gave us all his recommendations. Three of us chose the steak and kidney pudding which was amazing! Superb quality and extremely generous portions with extra gravy on request! The others had salmon and burger and all said their meals were delicious. Staff were friendly, helpful, professional and the Covid restrictions were very well observed. We had a lovely evening and have re-booked for another meal in a December. Highly recommended - thank you!

Visited for a Sunday carvery with friends. I am lactose intolerant so carveries aren't my favourite as I have limited choice. Sometimes I have to pay for two courses but nothing on the desert menu I can have. Well for the first time in over five years I was able to have Yorkshire puddings and had a choice of deserts. The staff were happy and friendly. They showed good knowledge and understanding of allergens. The food was tasty and walked out with a full belly. We also indulged in some lager and ale which was all to a good standard. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again.

So good we book for the next day too... we had rented a holiday cottage just down the road and had booked for Saturday night dinner here. The food and service was so good we booked again for Sunday roast. The roast was amazing - best I have had out in years. The staff and owner were helpful, friendly and welcoming.

We came last night and wasn’t sure what to expect and it certainly surpassed our expectations! The pods are situated to the side of the main restaurant and u are greeted by the staff , whee you are shown to your pod It’s lit up with little lights and even tho the evening got cooler we were lovely and warm The staff were attentive , chatty and informative but not over powering , Service was at our pace The food was excellent and very plentiful and we thought very reasonably priced We will definitely be back !

We booked some time ago and opted for a 4 person dining pod as we wanted to dine with some good friends. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish, we had very good service, the staff were friendly and attentive (perhaps a little quick to try to take our food order) but once we had ordered our food, we didn’t feel rushed at all. Food was tasty, huge fish and chips and everyone in our party enjoyed the whole evening. We would definitely come here again, plan to bring more friends to share the experience next time around.

The food was very poor indeed. A complete disappointment to the three of us.we have dined there before,but this was very bland by comparison. I did speak to two people about the meals we had,but no one seemed moderately interested.sovleft very frustrated and disgusted vowing never to return. We had an awesome birthday celebration with a 3 course meal and drinks. You could not fault anything. We had booked one of their new pods outside which were lovely. Our waitress Abby looked after us so well and nothing was too much for her. Thank you for a great evening we shall be back.

Visited the Barn for an evening meal for the first time. I am not easily impressed but i certainly was with this visit. So were the three guests with me. The service was excellent and attentive. The food was really very good and the portion sizes were on the large size.The restaurant have gone to a lot of trouble to make it safe and in accordance with the current guidelines of social distancing, which also helped.If you are going here to eat, then dont snack before you go. But you will be impressed I am sure.

Booked an outdoor pod for our wedding anniversary. Food and service was excellent, definitely will return.

This was our first meal out after lockdown and it was also for my partner’s bday. I had phoned to try to get a pod and explained it was for a special occasion but sadly they were fully booked. However, when we arrived we were told there was a pod available and we were over the moon! The manager clearly remembered our request which was superb.The pod made the experience extra special. Everything has been thought of. There were heaters, blankets, pillows & candles in there, all a very nice touch. Food was so delicious, was so impressed by it! Service was great and they were asking how everything was, asked if my partner’s steak was cooked okay & had general conversation with us. Would 100% return even if I couldn’t get a pod purely for the great food and amazing customer service!

Went here to celebate friends birthdays as they were both in lockdown,we were outside in a fantatic pod with great service and very polite and friendly staff taking orders all coming out with a cloche on top .Dood was hot well presented and extremely delicious dedinately going there again i cant fault the night at all or rhe food we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to all the Staff at the Barn you deserve to do well. We all felt very safe and well looked after.
