Marleys in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Had an amazing meal. I have coeliac disease and their attention to deal was A1 (re wiping the table to stop cross contamination) they completely understood my condition which some cafe don’t get. Thank you so much Also my husband and daughter had great breakfasts ….even filled my husband up

Beautiful decor, great ambiance, good food, friendly and efficient staff - what more do you need in a cafe? They also ask whether you would like some personal preferences for an example they asked if I wanted some salmon with my poached eggs. The owner, Julie, is warm and efficient. It was Mother’s Day and Marley’s Breakfast was the perfect start of the day !

This was our first visit to Marleys Cafe with a friend. We Had heard good things about the Cafe but never managed to find time to visit! Well today was the day! We recieved a lovely warm welcome by the lady on front of house. The Cafe was not overly busy but had a good atmosphere. We looked at the menu which had a wide variety of mouthwatering options. We noticed on the specials board a loaded chips meal with Turkey, pigs in blankets, and stuffing! With horseradish and cranberry sauce with a pot of gravy! Well all three of us had this dish! While we waited for our meal we had a nice relaxed coffee! We did not have long to wait for our food! IT WAS DELICIOUS 😋 and very filling All three of us enjoyed our meal! In a lovely relaxed atmosphere! Two off us also had a piece of cake, not because we needed it but because it looked so delicious! And again we were not dissapointed ! Oh well there goes the diet for today! We wish every one at marleys a happy Christmas and New year and look forward to our next visit .

Fabulous spot to pick for brunch on our way to Hunstanton. What a hidden gem. Ordered a veggie and regular English breakfast which both went down a treat; including doorstop toast, homemade hash browns, well cooked mushrooms and good quality bacon. Also ordered kids pancakes which were light and fluffy. Topped off with the largest piece of Victoria sponge you've ever seen. Will definitely be back.

We had been recommended this place for brunch and were looking forward to our visit. Great staff and ambience but really? Microwaved scrambled eggs? My heart sank when I heard the ping - its not that hard to make fresh. Also wilted old rocket which should not have been on my co-diners plate. Sorry for the poor review. Great little hidden gem just outside Kings Lynn. Massive portions of quality home cooked food. We’ve popped in a few times now and always great.

Staff cheerful on arrival. Asked to choose a spot and quickly brought menu to me. Ordered latte and breakfast. Food freshly and quickly brought to table. Excellent portion size and delicious.

My other half brought me here for a full English. We were not disappointed. It was all made with well cooked fresh ingredients. The toast was thick cut fresh bread ,which truly filled me up. I'm glad I saved it till last. The lady who served us was polite, happy and attentive. The decor is quirky and adds to an already comfortable ambience. Would definitely recommend

Myself and my friend had breakfast catch up planned and we noticed on Marley’s Facebook page they were doing an offer on breakfast - buy one get one free so we chose to visit Marley’s . The lady serving - Welsh lady - was so friendly and happy , myself and my friend had a nice chat with her she was lovely ☺️ a credit to Marley’s . The food was lovely and so was the coffee ! Excellent value and nice comfy surrounds with free car-parking. We plan to visit again one day soon for lunch .

Outstanding breakfast (vegetarian and meat). We regularly come here for breakfast/brunch and it is consistently excellent, with lovely staff. A real find!

Honestly could not rave about the bottomless brunch enough!! the drinks were so nice, as was the food and good portion sizes, very accommodating for dietary needs. But the best thing about our time at marleys was the staff, nothing seemed to big of an ask, so helpful and friendly.

Food was average I don't except to order a burger and then see the chef pop out and back in with ASDA ESSENSTIALS mince . Over priced 32.80 for 2 coffee and 2 meals ( omelette and a burger ) clearly made from a pack of mince that cost 2.50! Left hungry and annoyed least we know not to return ...staff friendly though.

We visited today as Marleys had been recommended to me... The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the inside fun and quirky but I have to say overall I was somewhat disappointed with the food a very small portion of Advacado on toast and way overpriced... and in general the food so so for the price.

This has become a regular for me and my mum to go to, to enjoy the amazing food and spend some quality time together (sometimes we allow the kids to join). The staff are always so friendly and welcoming and are very attentive. They should be applauded for bringing something unique and personal to the outskirts of town.

Myself and my boyfriend have planned to come here for some time now. We both had egg's Benedict, mine vegetarian and his with added ham hock. For the cheap price of around £7 it was very tasty, quick and reasonably priced. Coffee was good also, not hot and burnt like most coffee chains make it. Plus it's refillable! We had some cake for afters and it was okay. Not the moistest cake ever, they have good options but i think it could be better for the price. But I would go again for the coffee and lunch and to perhaps give the cocktails or afternoon tea a try!

Came here for breakfast a few weeks back. No real issue with the food but I did feel it was pretty expensive for a unit on a small retail park. In my opinion there is better value for money alternatives locally with a similar standard of food with much better outlooks.As others have said, the music was intrusively loud when we visited and the staff were not in the slightest welcoming and we did feel like we were imposing. Probably wouldn’t hurry back.

Have been to Marleys several times now to meet up with our support group friends . Always been really friendly. Coffee is very good and the lemon gluten free cake is to die for . See Marleys again soon

Great place for a coffee & cake if you've got time for the refil for £1. The quality is great but it's too pricey for anything more substantial & the music is too loud.

I’d been meaning to try the place out for months & so glad we finally got round to it! What a dime - We went all out and had food, coffees and cakes and not one item could be faulted! I had the traditional breakfast which was Devine, large portion size and all fresh ingredients! (Not sure what you do to your mushroom but they were incredible, & so nice to have meat from the butchers not mush) My mum had he eggs Benedict which she said was lovely and my partners flat bread was perfect too! We took ages deciding what we wanted to eat as the menu was so good it was hard to choose just one!

I took my friend to Marley’s for a birthday treat, we both enjoy having an afternoon tea so I decided to try Marley’s. We have visited a lot of different venues but this was by far the best afternoon tea we have had. Marley’s decoration is bright and colourful which makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. The ladies that work there are so friendly and so are the other customers. I had booked for us to have the afternoon tea and when it came out it looked amazing, there was such a wide range of savouries and cakes and then we realised that what we thought was for two people to share was for one as the next stand of food was brought out! Everything was made of high quality ingredients and presented to a very high standard. We both love our food but both required large doggy bags to take home the remaining cakes. This is the second time I have visited Marley’s and give it a 10 out of 10 for atmosphere, quality of food, value for money and wonderful staff. Give it a visit you will not be disappointed, and they are licensed!!

I popped in here for a quick bite before I did my shopping. I loved the quirky look to the place. I was made to feel welcome straight away not just left to myself while staff chatted. The coffee and food was excellent. I have found a great place to eat before I get my shopping. I will be back.

We visited a few days ago. We entered and staff from behind the counter barked ‘good morning’ and ‘take a seat’. More of an instruction rather than a warm welcome.

Went for breakfast today after reading that this pace was really very good. We however are disappointed. The menu was no different to any other cafe type bistro. A few different bits like bubble and squeak but apart from that the usual bacon and eggs and the like. The food left a lot to be desired. Everything had a deep fat fried taste. The bacon was rock hard, the bubble and squeak was very loose mash potato with bits of veg and onion in it. The home made hash browns the same, mash potatoes with onion. All the food left a greasy taste in your mouth and we left with a greasy feeling. My daughter of 13 left most of her breakfast because of this. My wife did enjoy her eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. However the salon was extra. Their eggs Benedict is only spinach and egg.

We use Marley’s regularly and we’ve tried the full English, pancakes, quiches, ploughman’s and some of their shakes and it’s all fresh good quality and everything’s made from scratch. Ok the prices may be high in some people’s eyes but the quality more than justifies the prices, you get what you pay for so if you want to pay a fiver then I suggest you go to a little greasy spoon.

I live close by to Marleys but each time I don't get to have a cheeky cuppa and chill..

We are always in Marleys the people are wonderful always look happy. The food is great and prices are not bad either. Would recommend it to anyone. Linda

Marley’s has been open about three months and we pass it on our way to Asda regularly, so today we gave it a try...very pleasantly surprised.

No children's menu, staff showed no interest in us at all. I chose a 'thick' (can't remember the actual title on the menu) toastie. What a laugh! The thick doorstep was not toasted or buttered that I could see but the slice of ordinary white bread on top of the sandwich was toasted and very dry - and the filling? Bacon still had fatty rind on the slices, and...how can anyone slice brie cheese so thinly? Expensive, not worth the price and certainly won't be going again.

Having been a support worker for learning disabilities for five years now, this was the worst reaction that I have ever had, regarding the people I look after. There were two members of staff, and one was lovely, whereas the other one constantly watched us the whole time. She complained that one of my guys pulled a picture off the wall, which he did do, put we put it on the table behind us. She came to the table and asked where ‘her’picture was, and we explained it had been taken down and put on the table behind us. She said ‘this is really not on’, and said she had been watching us for twenty minutes, and had see him try to grab the picture earlier!. Why did she not move it, when she saw it was a target for him??, we had already moved everything else he could grab, out of sight!!. The food was overpriced and looked unappetising, so at least I know where not to return to.

I visited Marleys for the first time yesterday after a walk out with my cousin. I found it friendly and inviting. We shall certainly be visiting again. I hope our 'locals' will support this venue as the atmosphere is good.

We recently moved to South Wootton so this is local to us now, bright and friendly cafe that wasn’t busy when we arrived but was when we left. I was hoping for a jacket potato, but it’s a menu not like other cafe menus and I had the chunky cheese and caramelised onion toastie which was lovely. Lots of things still to try. We had a slice of carrot cake to take with us the only thing was it came wrapped in foil so it didn’t travel as well as of it had been in a nice take away box. Will definitely be back though.

Place is a little bit difficult to find situated in a block including Asda, Indian Takeway and Fish and Chip shop etc. Once you have found it, its well worth the visit. Had the all day breakfast which was a real plateful and good value for the price charged. Did not feel that it was expensive as per the other comments. Food was all freshly cooked and service was pleasant throughout. Menu looked very good and would be tempted to try something else next time.

Amazing breakfast. Had the full English was amazing freshly cooked and quality the bacon is to die for. Friendly service again as this my 2nd visit first time was overdose on shakes and cake and this time breakfast and can't complain about it at all. I personally don't think it's expensive for what you get. You get quality which I personally don't mind paying for it isn't greasy spoon it's amazing fresh breakfast. Well impressed and will be back again and again whenever I'm in Lynn visiting friends. Our new fave spot.

Yes it is quite expensive for what appears to be a cafe from the outside. However the food is absolutely excellent. The decor is lovely. The service is quick and efficient. I would much rather spend a tenner on what was the nicest bubble and squeak I have ever eaten, with perfectly cooked egg,bacon and sausage than £5-6 on something forgettable. I can’t wait to try the lunch menu (and the milkshakes)

Thought we would try a quick brekie in this new cafe. Turned into a coffee stop only as its so expensive! Loved the decor, quirky, different and clearly a lot of thought has been put into the experience of being in this eatery. The waitress was friendly and efficient - she didnt have a lot to do as the place was empty except for what i assume was the owners.
