The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Epping Forest East of England

I came in at lunch to get a jacket cheese and beans to takeaway. They were super efficient, and the food was well prepared and packed. The price was good as the jacket also came with a side of dressed salad and homemade coleslaw, which was delish! The portions were also really good. When getting home, I also realised they had provided a packet with cutlery, little packs of proper butter, salt, pepper, and mayo! Such a good complimentary condiment selection! Really yummy and will 100% be coming back.

Whilst visiting the Abbey church and wonderful gardens on a cold April day, we came across this cafe at the end of our visit. It was cosy, warm and welcoming. We ordered two coffees alongside red velvet and victoria sponge cake. The coffee was smooth and not bitter and the cake portions were generous and tasty.

So I'm on my third date with this man. I thought he was the one, but after this evening spent at this café he told me "I'm too clingly" and that I need to "Relax for a bit"! Who does he think he is! Telling a single mother of 5 to RELAX! HOW DARE HE! I have been alone for 3 years and I though I had found the man of my dreams, the kids absolutely loved him but NO apparently falling in love at first sight doesn't exist anymore! I tried my hardest to please him. Every date we went on I had to hire 2 babysitters to look after the kids, so not only did I have to pay for my meal but I also had to pay for 2 babysitters 3 TIMES! Even when I offered a quiet date at my house, while the kids where at school, he declined saying it "Wasn't very romantic" I am trying to live my life and I thought he would want to join me on that! A lonely man like that would just have to marry me and already have five kids to look after, no work needed! But no apparently he's too good for that. Anyway, food was lovely and service was welcoming. I will be coming back with my 5 kids instead of a selfish nobody!

Popped in this week to meet a friend for breakfast nice and tasty love the chips I live walking distance so will return again soon

Wow, seriously amazing burgers, out done places like Hard rock cafe. 5 of us had different meals from the menu all great.

My son and I visited here for breakfast today, it was our first visit and will definitely be our last. The waitress looked as if she couldn’t have cared less about our order. My son ordered a big breakfast with white toast and I ordered scrambled eggs on brown toast with mushrooms. My sons arrived first, minus his toast, mine arrived 5 minutes later on white toast. I took mine back to the counter and asked them to change it to the brown toast I had ordered. The white toast took about another 5 minutes to arrive, my son had almost finished by the time mine arrived. Then just as we had finished our food another lot of white toast arrived !!! There was no apology from anyone for the mixups and the food was okay but nothing to shout about so will definitely not be going back.

La mujer que me atendió estaba muy enojada y agresiva, después de mi solicitud de rehacer mi café, las 3 mujeres me miraron con evidente ira y agresión

Brilliant cafe. We absolutely love the food, ,service and the friendliness from the staff. Worth every penny. Very reasonable as well. Welldone girls.

Lovely cosy pub with lots of character. We came on a Sunday to try out the roast dinners and we weren't disappointed! Nice portion sizes and good quality produce used. Service was good given how busy it was, I'd highly recommend reserving a table if you're thinking of coming here. Menu had a good selection, drinks menu also very good. One of our party is disabled so the only drawback was the entrance and the steps which made things a little tricky for her, not sure this place is suitable for wheelchair users. Overall we really enjoyed our visit and we will be coming back for sure 😊

This is such a lovely traditional country pub. It was very busy but we received friendly service from the landlord. A zero alcohol Guinness and a glass of Rioca and two steak and ale pies. Very fair price for home cooked food. The pies were delicious - the steak was tender and the pie was very filling and flavorsome. Served with thick proper chips, peas and the most delicious honey roasted carrots and parsnips. We will definitely return. We found it by chance after not being able to get a table in another 2 pubs. A great location for walks in Epping Forest.

Brilliant café in Epping I love the English breakfast and going in after walking the dog, they are dog friendly and the staff are friendly and helpful, there is always a good plate of food def 5 stars here ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I met up with an old mate of many years in Ongar and we were looking for somewhere to get a drink and a bite and we wandered into the two Brewers. We were welcomed by the staff who were really friendly as it seemed were the regulars in there and it was a lovely atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food really lovely and served with a smile. The drinks were plentiful in choice and priced very fairly. I can certainly recommend a visit and I will have no hesitation going back when I am next in the area.

Absolutely abysmal service from start to finish. 5 of us ordered lunch (sandwiches and ham egg and chips). Firstly it was not busy at all so take this into account. We was the only ones wating yet the food took 45 mins to come out. The fish if you can call it that was grey and rock hard... imagine tesco value but worse. The cheese ciabatta was not even melted and the ham looked like mermaid skin. The chips that came with the egg n chips was smootherd in oil. The best thing about this was the mayo and tommy sauce which took the sour taste away from the food. On the board outside it said fresh food. Errrm prob fresh 3 weeks ago. Avoid and go co op and get a meal deal

Came in last night with my mrs was served by a nice boy called Oscar he was extremely helpful and provided us a great experience will be sure to visit again

Staff are so nice!! Also their sandwiches are always so fresh and good :)
