Absolutely great. Great quality well cooked food with amazing service! The new owners clearly know what they are doing.

The food is very good and tasty and also the staff is lovely , very attentive in what you need,definitely going back to that lovely cafe .

I frequently come into this little cafe, and buy their large, crusty rolls, bread pudding, or cakes to take home after i’ve eaten my elevenses after shopping. Yesterday, my husband and myself went up to St Margaret’s hospital, and after our appointment went into the town centre for breakfast. two full (and boy were they full) absolutely delicious breakfasts, piping hot and lovely coffee with them. Long may this gem survive in Epping. It was almost full at about 13.00pm, so residents of Epping know a good thing. B. Knight

Friendly, homely,and great food. Great place to meet up with family and friends. Great for a coffee, sandwich or full on meal.

The food is excellent and so is the service. I have been many times. I shan’t be visiting again, however, thanks to the rudeness of the manager today. A lady served me while I stood in the queue and the manager said she asked me what wanted and accused me of ignoring her. That would have been difficult, considering she was not behind the counter when I joined the queue. She did however arrive while I was still waiting and asked what I wanted, so I told her I was being served. That is not my definition of ignoring someone.., She then tells me I cause trouble every time I go in, which is a complete lie as never before have I had a problem with any if her staff, nir have I ever had any dealings with the manager in the past . Tracy, the owner ,is lovely and so are the test of the staff The manager clearly wanted to look good in front of the other customers by putting the onus on me to save face. I will not be returning. There is so much choice in Epping.

During the last couple of years I have regularly bought my bread and large crust tasty rolls...and slices of home made cake.. And about once a month I have lunch. I cannot fault the food or the friendly speedy service....and the prices are cheaper than others in Epping High St.. Spag Bol with salad is my favourite. And they even offer a lovely traditional Pie &Mash and liquor. Toilets ,clean with easy access.

We occasionally sit and order a lovely English Breakfast. We love the take home the large crusty rolls. But best of all are the small round Victoria Sponge cakes or slices of the Owners 'home ' cakes.

Visited for a quick bite and a cup of tea at lunchtime But noticed straight away that a menu was displayed outside with no prices! from experience I know what that means and I was not disappointed An old retail food cafe/restaurant trick once you step inside hoping you feel obliged to order and pay whatever the price normally works 80% of the time as some feel too embarrassed to walk out once seated. Will not be going back again

Amazing little gem! Had a great full english breakfast to take away. The lady at the front was happy to accommodate all our requests.

We have used this cafe several times for a quick lunch whilst in Epping. Friendly staff who serve a good choice of food. The quality is good and the food is well presented. Reasonable prices make it slightly better than some of the so called 'bistros' in the high street. This is not an upmarket restaurant, simply a cafe doing what cafes should do. Often crowded as it is a popular place to take a quick lunch. Many people come in to buy take away rolls, samdwiches etc.

I had a great all day breakfast which arrived with lighting speed and friendly service. My flat white was perfect. The WiFi was strong too. Thanks for a great start to the day.

Popped in for a coffee and sausage roll. Friendly staff and reasonable prices and the cakes looked delicious. Will visit again next time we are in Epping as breakfast looked good too!

They were very busy but the service was still acceptable. The coffee was average, but the panini was very good. Well filled and hot. Overall it was excellent value for money.

Visited after my mum saw the board outside for pie and mash. We weren't disappointed. Staff really friendly. An amazing range of food on offer but we went for pie and mash. Large portion that was really tasty. Mash perfect too. My son had the "best toastie" ever according to him. A real cafe with great choice and lovely staff.

Cold day so thought I would have a hot meal, popped in here, Dona selection of various dishes hot and cold so I settled for the roast dinner....waited nearly 40 mins for it to come to the table, hot dinner however, basic roast. £9.00 with a mug of tea.

Popped in for a jacket potato and it was lovely salad on the side cheese and coleslaw inside a popular place basic decor big nice home cooked food

The only bakery in the high street. Really good roll and Sandwich options. The hot food a bit disappointing, would be a good idea to use better quality sausages and bacon, there's a lot of breakfast competition on the high street and you can eat a good breakfast roll. The pastries and cake options are good.

The menu is varied and very good value..... The fruit scones were excellent and again good value.... The building was clean, service was good and friendly.... If I lived closer I would undoubtedly be a regular...
