Really lovely brunch spot. Great crepes, able to get a table inside at 11am on a Saturday which is rare! Service very friendly and polite.

Dog friendly, had thier soup very nice and a chi latte. Reasonably price.

Absolutely love coming to the Wagon with the family, including the dogs. The staff couldn’t do enough for you, not to mention the wonderful food 🤤

I have been a regular visitor to The Wagon Boulangerie since my move to Loughton 2 years ago. I have to say that I can’t speak highly enough of it, whether that be the quality & variety of its menu & produce, it’s convivial & welcoming ambience or the efficiency & courtesy of its staff, all of which are first class. I would particularly like to single out the delightful Aicha who makes every visit a joy. 5 stars all round.

Stopped here for lunch and found the staff, food and coffee all excellent. I had an omlette which was very filling and tasty, the flat white coffee was delicious and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The selection of cakes is great too and very yummy. I've been here about 3 times now and on each occasion, I have not been disappointed.

Small friendly coffee shop couple of tables outside probably making their best on summer season... Good vibes and feelings when we walked in, rustic ambiance, loved the brick and timber background of the walls... And books on the shelves... Food was good, we had Royal Eggs and Avocado tricolour and natural juices ... Decent waiting time for food... Staff serving friendly and helpful... we had a nice breakfast... Recommended and will be back... need to taste the sandwiches next...

My coffee and cheesecake were both excellent. The menu looked interesting, with plenty of choice. I thought it was good value for money.

The store is clean, tidy, rustic, small, bright vibrant and elegant store with unique touch that makes look good. The staff are well mannered, well organised, understanding, respectful, friendly, welcoming, professional and knowledgeable about their products that they always serve with a smile. The cheesecake was flavourful, sweet, delicious, mouthwatering, tasty and cinnamon and biscuit flavoured cheesecake but can have more options. The price was £4.00 for the cheesecake, it was little bit overpriced but worth buying it to try the flavour.

In my opinion the best place in Loughton for Brunch. The Staff- All of them are so professional and efficient.

Usually love this place - however this morning we walked out. We were totally ignored despite the chap walking up to and past us three times. It wasn’t even busy -only about three tables taken. Disappointing. Went across the road to Molens . What a difference .

My vegetable soup was nice, but a little more seasoning could have been added . The coffee was good, the cake was really tasty.

Staying in Loughton recently over a 10 day period. I popped in here for coffee three times at various times of the day and week. The Wagon was friendly, there's a good feel about the place with a pleasant service. For me, sitting outside, they brought my order to me as it was being prepared. Surprising how many similar places get grumpy or even refuse to do that. Plus, they take cash as payment! Surprising how many similar places refuse to do that...(such as Gail's across the road).

If you are interested in having a great cup of coffee and very good customer service, then this is the place for you!

Breakfast, lunch, coffee, cake. You wont be disappointed. Eat in or outside.

Really enjoyed our visit here...lovely staff give the cafe a very friendly atmosphere ... nothing seems too much trouble We both had the tuna melt which was really tasty, open which was a little different but nice as not too much bread Coffees were excellent We saw waffles come out that looked incredible so next time I will have to try them

Unusually not up to normal high standard today. One meal completely messed up by kitchen staff. Manager made amends by not charging for this. We will go back.

Tall gentleman serving our table was very friendly and greeted us with a smile. Sit in service was quick. The food was very fresh and tasty. Would definitely recommend.

I did not get a chance to sample the food here. I booked a table for 2 via a Groupon voucher. I was turned away because the proprietor was having problems with Groupon. Groupon are refusing to refund because according to their records, a booking was made. I have no way of proving that the booking was not honoured. If the proprietor of The Wagon is having issues they should not involve the customer. The voucher was valid so it should have been accepted. Not happy.

Visited on Boxing Day with my partner for brunch. Fresh and tasty food, generous with their portions and well presented. The customer service was spot on, prompt and polite. Price is perfectly reasonable. We both agreed that we had to come back soon before we had even finished our food… which didn’t take long!

Whilst on my way home from a meeting I stopped in Loughton for some lunch and a comfort break. After looking at Trip Advisor I decided to visit The Wagon Boulangerie on the High Road. The Ciabatta sandwiches were nicely displayed at the counter and all looked super fresh. The window cabinet held some tasty looking cakes and pastries. I ordered the Chicken & Tarragon Ciabatta, a decaf Latte and a Plum Tart. The Ciabatta was toasted and came with some salad on the side which was very fresh. The sandwich was tasty as was the Plum Tart which went down a treat with the Latte. Total cost was £12.30 paid for by contactless card payment. There are seats inside and outside on the street and there is a customer toilet. All in all a nice place for lunch in Loughton.

Went for brunch, had delicious french toast which was tasty and well presented. My friend had omelette which she enjoyed. Service a little bit slow but staff friendly. Good selection on menu, not the cheapest. Small inside, with a few tables outside. Would go back

A great cafe on Loughton High Street. A good menu with many vegetarian options. Coffee, shakes and cakes are excellent. Some seating out the front as well so you can watch the world go by.

Came for a late breakfast with my wife. We both has a quiche of the day (one mushroom, one tomato and onion) very nice. We both shared a french toast as a dessert. We had one of their smoothies. Overall very nice. Will come again

Took my daughter here for an end of term treat. Small but lovely, cosy cafe - patisserie located opposite St. Mary's Church in Loughton High Rd. Staff were very prompt and friendly. Eat in menu was reasonably priced and had a good choice of teas, coffees, juices, milkshakes, crepes/waffles, soups, salads, sandwiches and breakfast dishes. The Eggs Florentina was especially delicious, plus loved having freshly squeezed orange juice. Though we were too full to try any, the selection of bakery items at the counter/in the window looked amazing so will definitely need to return soon to sample! ☕🥞🥛🥗🍵🍰🥖🥙

Lovely place, lovely waitress, I had been before lockdown and I understand that things have been hard but I thought it was really bad value for money and really ordinary food. I ordered avocado on toast with poached eggs. When it arrived the waitress could tell that it wasn’t great. Two tiny pieces of toast with a dessert spoonful of avocado on each and two over poached eggs. Fair play the waitress could tell and asked if I wanted anything else, so I asked for another piece of toast, and two more small pieces were brought. My partner had asked for his toasted sandwich without tapenade so it was not one of the bountiful pre made ones from the counter, instead he got a small panini with hardly any filling. Both were nice enough but it just felt tight. Next I’ll try somewhere else. Really nice waitress though.

Visited with friends just for coffee, tables were definitely not far enough apart and were not asked to do track and trace even though we were sitting inside (no QR code to scan either). The staff all had their masks below their noses - so completely pointless. I will not be returning.

Had brunch here. It was delicious and you could create your own. Service was friendly and fresh juice was lovely. Will be coming back!

It was a Monday to Wednesday, 'Eat out to Help out day', and the Staff were ALL trying to POCKET the 50% Saving directed to the CUSTOMER. I Was told, "It Only applies to drinks (Coffee) when food is ordered'. Oh no it doesn't, I replied. I will quote you the rules, chapter and verse. RESPONSE; "I'm sorry sir, that will be £1:25", instead of the £2:50 that I was originally asked for. They were trying this CON/FRAUDULENT behaviour on with every other customer sat around me. I was sat with two other people who will confirm what I am saying. This is a CON-ARTIST and Trickster business - BEWARE!!!!!!

A great little boulangerie. Called ahead to order a takeaway lunch for my wife and me. Everything was ready when we arrived and the staff were very welcoming and helpful, too.

Always friendly staff with a warm welcome and a delicious good-size flat white. Never underestimate the joy of a genuine welcome.

Tasty food with a mix of gluten free and vegan options. Not a 5 star as everyone wanted waffles and they didn't have them for some reason (regular, gluten free or vegan).

I used to love their coffee and food unfortunately I was put off by poor levels of hygiene when I visited today. Masks were not worn by staff, lots of mouth and nose touching by staff, old menus which were sometimes but not always given a cursory disinfect before being passed on to a new customer, tables given a cursory clean of the top but not the sides.... I will not begoing back,

Decent strong coffee and good breakfast all served by wonderful friendly staff. It would have got 5 * but for the awful stupid 1940s french music they continue to play. Its not even a french bistro. This is England & 90% customers are British so stop playing this dreadful rubbish

We always enjoy coming to Wagon Boulangerie. A warm and cheerful welcome awaits you. The range of patisserie also welcomes you and they are all delicious. When you have had a busy time shopping, it is lovely to come in for a delightful energy boost. The hot chocolate is wonderful too. If you like to have something more filling, then the cooked meals are tasty and well presented. It is busy much of the time and you may have to wait for a table to be free but that just shows how well appreciated the Wagin is. Do enjoy.

We came here for a coffee and a quick sandwich. Very helpful staff and they were happy to adapt our order from the menu to accommodate a fussy 10 year old. Good quality ingredients and reasonably priced.

Beautiful setting, lovely food and coffee. So pleasant to sit in and have a lovely sandwich served with salad trimmings. Could not fault it in anyway, felt like I was tucked away in France, watching the world go by, beautiful choice of music also
