The Two Brewers Pub Ongar in Epping Forest

I met up with an old mate of many years in Ongar and we were looking for somewhere to get a drink and a bite and we wandered into the two Brewers. We were welcomed by the staff who were really friendly as it seemed were the regulars in there and it was a lovely atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food really lovely and served with a smile. The drinks were plentiful in choice and priced very fairly. I can certainly recommend a visit and I will have no hesitation going back when I am next in the area.

I'm a local and the pub is lovely unfortunately the governor is an ignorant individual, he told me 2 weeks ago that h e wouldn't be open on Sunday 28th so we could not watch the Spurs Arsenal game because he had an all day function, porkies the pub has been closed all day. Will not be drinking there again until new managment arrives. Would l recommend the pub, no.

Went to the Two Brewers Ongar for family and friends Drinks Was a Great experience and a lovely welcoming venue The Bar has had a total referb and is spotless, the Staff are amazing and so welcoming. the drinks are well made and taste great. Their was an open wood fire going so was warm and cozy. pets were welcome and looked after. There is a good outside garden, main bar and family bar area. Live Sky sports was playing and the place was really nice and busy and everyone was chatting and having fun We will 100% be using this pub as our local from now on. A big shout out to Kerry the new manager who has turned this place into a little goldmine

I booked the private room for 15 people, it was perfect for us as we are quite a noisy bunch. The service was efficient and friendly especially Rebecca who went the extra mile. The food is average but it is well presented; it didn't matter as it was a special celebration and the alcohol flowed from a well maintained bar.

Never went to this venue before the refurb. But it has been transformed. From the fabulous outdoor garden area to the stylishly designer interior. The owner is ever present ensuring a well run Bar. however, the staff here are excellent. From our first visit our entire drinks order was recalled the next time we visited and prepared very swiftly. The place is spotlessly clean and there is also a good size car park for guests. The kitchen has yet to fully open but the restaurant area is fully furnished and awaiting the diners for when it is ready. The venue also caters for private celebrations. All in all, this was a terrific find and. I suggest if there are no functions on you really must try it. Enjoy Guys
