The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Moulsham and Central Chelmsford East of England

This cafe was so lovely! From the beautiful decor to the fab service, me and my mum were so impressed! We were both served quickly- we had toasties and a hot drink each, which tasted delicious, and the plates that the food was served on had a lovely flowery design. Also, the toilets were clean and nicely decorated.

I absolutely adore this little gem of a coffee shop, and best of all it’s dog friendly. A lovely selection of food/ pastries etc and great selection of teas and coffees. The doggies also have a great selection to choose from - my boy loves the doggie sausage! The staff are friendly and polite, and always greet with a smile. The cafe is always clean (apart from the daily muddy paws - totally acceptable) and there is a customer toilet too. We love sitting outside whatever the weather as the awning keeps us dry / shaded and some mornings you can get a beautiful sunrise.

A great space for creativity, relaxing and grabbing a coffee. They also run various events throughout the year, and the location is almost directly outside the train station and is easily accessible from the centre of town also.

I had the Baji wrap and it was amazing! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful too. My wife and I went for lunch and after the cafe closed my wife realised she left her bag and car keys. The staff were incredibly fast at replying to my wife’s message after closure and came back to the cafe to let me pick up her bag. I highly recommend this place!

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience at Queenies. My friends and I had booked a table only to be told after sitting (and only half of us ordering drinks) that they were too busy so we're putting a hold on both food and drinks orders for an unknown amount of time - the other half of the table were not allowed to order drinks either. We had an extremely long wait before taking our food order (40mins) and then another long wait for the actual food to arrive which all came out separately -two of us had almost finished eating before the rest of the meals came out. Then we were given 3 forks and one knife for 6 of us! We had to ask three times for more cutlery. They asked if we wanted sauces but we weren't given the mayo until we had almost finished so it was pointless even bringing it by that point (and this was after we asked again for it). Allergen wise, the place was shocking. I do not eat meat, yet found a bit bacon or ham in my meal. I fed back to the chef but wasn't given an apology. One member of our party was vegan - the menu has zero vegan options. She had to ask 4 times for the menu items to be checked after they tried to substitute her with a vegetarian sausage (which was not vegan). The bill was also incorrect. The food was actually nice when it arrived, hence the two stars. Everything else was sadly a shambles and we won't be returning.

Came here for a Groupon afternoon tea. Lovely old building. The staff were friendly. Sandwiches and cake good quality. But wasn't impressed with the mug of hot water with a teabag. Afternoon tea should always be a teapot and cups and saucers.

On the way to get a take out and saw a few people enjoying a quality beer in peace. No youngsters swearing, just people relaxing with a quality beer or cider in a quiet atmosphere. Lovely welcoming Landlord , very knowledgeable and even had a quick sample before I bought. The way proper beers / ciders should be served. I'm only in the area for a couple of weeks but will go frequently whilst here. Enjoy everyone!!

I've lived in Moulsham St for many years and only just visited this wonderful establishment.I ve been missing out for years,and cant wait to return.

Sindy's is a totally unique little shop doing amazing fresh sandwiches. They're ridiculously good value for money too. Fresh bread smells amazing.

An absolute gem of a pub that we found by accident after taking a wrong turn. We had checked out several nearby pubs which turned out to be offering ‘fine dining’. Which means £23 for fish and chips and they seat you before you can order a drink so everything goes on the tab and you feel obliged to tip like a restaurant. So after our wrong turn we found the next pub down the road and what a happy accident. A proper boozer with a great selection of beers - often you can’t find one decent IPA but the Woolpack had Neck Oil AND Level Head. Sophie’s Choice and not in a good way. But a proper boozer rarely has such an amazing selection of food. Apart from standard s like fish and ships they had shepherds’ pie, beef stew and also some of the more exotic pub food options such as ribs which are apparently massive. We got a chicken sharing platter of wings and tenders with a load of dips and some steak fries while we tried to decide what to order for maims, and there was so much food that we never went on to mains that we were so keen to try. All fresh and hot and served quickly. The landlady was very welcoming and busy running round doing everything. Icing on the cake was an unobtrusive classic 80s soundtrack. We will have to find an excuse for a return visit.. I bet Sunday lunch is amazing!
