Food was fantastic and a good price. The staff were really friendly and efficient even though it was very busy. Thank you!

Looks nice, however once showed to our seat we were totally ignored. Waited 15 mins whilst the only waiter they have served couples arriving after us! Made the decision to walk, handed back our menus and said we waited 15 mins’ without being served he said “sorry I didn’t realise” how long should you wait? Very disappointed☹️

Visited the new venue and it was lovely in there. Food was nice but just one thing, we ordered tea and was brought to the table with just a cup of hot water and a tea bag - no tea pots! Do you not have tea pots to serve customers their tea? It's a must, so were very disappointed not to be served our tea in a pot! Hopefully you will please rectify this as tea pots are served in all the other establishments we use. Once this is in place, then we will be back.

First visit to Chelmsford Queenies. Excellent food. Our waitress Liz was attentive friendly and made us welcome. We will definitely re visit.

It’s such an amazing place!! I got their Fluffy Delicious Pancakes, and they were AMAZING!! 😋😋😋 so tasty with the perfect amount of toppings and the perfect balance of sweetness, honestly the best brunch I’ve had in Chelmsford!!! Emma and Ellie were amazing servers, checking on me to make sure I had everything I needed and that everything was good, even though it was super busy!! 🥰 I also got an iced coffee and a smoothie, both of which were delicious 😁 honest can’t recommend them enough! And can’t wait to come back and try other items on the menu! 🤤

We have been to Queenies several times now and have always had brilliant food and service! My Dad is a very fussy older man and even he loves it here too and no negatives from him - high praise indeed haha! I have a dairy allergy and it's so difficult to find inclusive places who either make adaptions as standard or are willing to on an adhoc basis - I've never had any issues with Queenies, they've always been so accommodating! This is by far the best place to eat breakfast in Chelmsford. The food is always fresh, looks and tastes like it’s been cooked with love. Don’t be put off by the slightly higher prices, it’s very much worth every penny! The Staff are very polite and attentive also. There is nothing I could fault here, other Cafes take note! This is how it should be done!! Would highly recommend *****

Our family tradition is to have a celebratory birthday meal for our Triplets. The food never, ever dissapoints and the staff are always warm, welcoming. Please visit when you can. Highly recommend! I highly recommend eating here! The staff are very welcoming and the food is to a very high standard. I had the fluffy pancakes and they were delicious, the fruit and flowers made it look as beautiful as it tasted.

Have been several times before and all fine. Went today during a quiet period about 2pm. We ordered drinks and food. We were told at time of ordering they had run out of granary but we were told we could have sourdough bread for which we opted. The meals came first after 10 minutes at which point we asked waitress for our drinks. These eventually arrived when we were halfway through our food. On paying we queried the amount as felt it was a bit high for what we had. Was told that we were being charged £2 each for the sourdough bread. £4 in total extra which was not notified to us at time of ordering. The staff showed no interest in resolving the issue, which was unfortunate as we had enjoyed previous visits. We appreciate that dogs are accommodated on outside table but at time of visit there were 2 dogs at adjacent table and another behind us being fed sausages inside the cafe where we were. Not the best environment to eat and drink in the middle of town so we won’t be returning.

Straight off the bat, the specials board looked amazing. Old classics with new twists. Ended up ordering the Brunch Brekky and freshly squeezed orange juice. It’s expensive but you get what you pay for - the food was served quickly and was cooked perfectly… poached eggs were soft with a little give before the yolk splurged onto the sour dough. Home made haricot beans were very tasty as were the signature sausages and crispy bacon. The service was great - a real personal touch from each of the staff on a busy Saturday morning! Generally surprised by this little find and I urge anyone to give it a try… you won’t be disappointed!

Came in during the week- was greeted by friendly, happy staff! I had a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows- what a treat!! Wow I didn’t want to drink it as it looked so amazing!! And my friend had a fresh orange juice which was lovely- it’s great you can see it being made in the machine too! Food came out quickly everything was tasty and you could tell it was all cooked fresh to order. The swirl sausages are quirky! Overall attentive, lovely staff, great music! Didnt think it would be as nice as it was but had a eggs Benedict, and it was so lovely, lovely thick crusty bread perfect poached eggs, ham, really nice and coffee is tasty. Very disappointing. Menu looked great and waiting staff were very friendly but everything was cold. We sent it back and still came back cold. The hash browns were actually still frozen in the middle. The poached eggs were cold and it all says cooked fresh to order which cannot be true as it came up very quickly. A real shame as I want to support a local restaurant but at £28 for two rubbish breakfasts it’s just not worth it. I was given back £2.50 for the hash browns!!! We stumbled across Queenies when we went to Chelmsford markets for the first time and we would definitely be back for breakfast. The pancakes are the best Iv ever had, icecream for breakfast is a bonus too! The berries and banana is all nice and fresh too. If we ever come back to Essex I’m definitely going back to Queenies. Not only was the food amazing but so was the staff!

Popped in for a quick bite to eat on Saturday morning. Had myself the cold breakfast. Which at the best of times would be hard to make look attractive but the chef clearly took the time to make this dish look as appealing as possible and it was a joy to eat as I am very big on enjoying the aesthetics of what I am eating. As for the decor you will not find a trendier looking establishment in Billericay. And yet it isn't pretentious as the staff are so attentive and approachable will definitely be revisiting and maybe taking a trip to the Chelmsford store. Ps take a leek at the loos very very well done....

First time visit for breakfast. The thing that instant struck was just how expensive the place is. I work in the City and usually pay a premium at times however the prices here were just as expensive for food that was not as nice. Granola with yoghurt and fruit for example was not what I expected. The granola was nice, the yoghurt ok but the fruit wasn’t good - it was fruit cocktail out of a tin!! I was expecting some blueberries or raspberries for the price at £4.95!

I had to try Queenies Billericay after hearing so many good things from friends. And was I pleasantly surprised, the atmosphere was amazing, the staff are really friendly and could not do enough for us and last but not least the food was amazing and fresh. Everyone was enjoying themselves and for that I will be coming back!! I was too full to have a freakshake but next visit I am going to leave room because they look amazing, the look on all the kids faces when they come out is priceless.
