The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East of England

Sadly, since our last visit, this cafe has gone downhill. The menu has become more limited and the cake options have been reduced, which is a shame as the selection of cakes used to be wonderful. The idea of serving food on a wooden block covered in greaseproof paper is not my idea of fun, but maybe it helps to reduce the washing up ? The only cake offering for gluten intolerance is a chocolate brownie. Do people think that is all we eat, as it it the only offering in most poor cafes. The decor is not as clean as it was and it seems a bit run down. I am guessing that the only people who use this cafe now are people who are there for meetings. What a shame, as this used to be a favourite, but not any more!

Best coffee in the world by far, dont look any further. Baristas Porto and Josh are really friendly.

Was a lovely simple full English! Very tasty 😋!!! Only advice would be have black pudding available as an extra or add on !! Love bit of pudding black… eggs was cooked perfectly! Delicious

Nice food, sociable staff that'll go that extra mile for you, and a clean, organised eating area. I particularly liked the breakfast 🍛 I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra for a bottomless hot drink with it, but then I do drink like a fish 😆

Cafe run by Mencap within the Central Library. Wifi and computers available to use. Coffee and toasted teacakes were really good.

Took the parents out on Sunday and visited Anwick Garden Centre. After having a wander around the Garden Centre and purchasing a few items, we went into the cafe to have a drink and chose to dine, as it was lunch time (13:30ish). I went with the house Cheese Burger and both parents went with the Sunday Roast (on this occasion Beef). I had a can of soda (Vimto) and the parents each had a pot of tea. Food wise, the burger was well cooked and chips and salad were also good and overall it was a great portion for the price. The parents both really enjoyed the beef and the roast potatoes, the only issue being the vegetables, both would have preferred it slightly more cooked, and father would have liked a slight larger vegetable portion. Overall though, we’ll be visiting again, and I would recommend a visit if you’re in the area…

Not dog friendly, no mention of this on their website, social media or even a sign outside. Don't understand why they're not dog friendly, seems odd.

Amazing find- food was absolutely delicious. Had a poke bowl which was a real treat! Dog friendly, toddler friendly. Staff super friendly- highly recommend!

Convenient place to stop, plenty of parking outside, lots of room inside, a great team and nice coffee/drinks and snacks

For me this is THE coffee place on Castle Rd. A real community hub, with delicious food and drink.

Lovely café, had the roast chicken and it was lovely, lean chicken, lots of veg and the roast potatoes were lovely. The staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable with a lot of choice in the menu. Clean toilet and premises. Worth a visit.
