Sometimes there's live Band which is very good. It's a nice and friendly place to go.I do recommend.

A real gem of a village pub just a couple of minutes away from Bushey station. There's nothing not to like apart from the Scampi Fries!

The Villiers Arms has a large and very pleasant outdoor area, perfect for current times. The service is efficient and friendly - the staff made us feel very welcome. There are usually 3 cask ales available, all in perfect condition. A truly fabulous pub.

A decent beer selection, including 3 cask ales in good condition. The table service was friendly and efficient. We had a very enjoyable evening here.

Well kept ales. Easy to keep social distancing with table service in the garden and greeting at the door. Didn’t need to go inside for anything. Very friendly staff.

New management and it's warmer, cosier and more friendly... If decent food was served, it would be near perfect! Update! August 2020, still no food and whilst effort's been made for Covid-19, it's surely wasted if glasses are being handled without protection?!

Malcolm said it all. It's a real local. You can tell that when you walk in. My first visit in 30 years (old guy with white woolly jumper); i phoned ahead as it was new years eve 2019. My personal score is 10/10.

No music, no sports on tv. Just a lovely atmosphere to sit down with the family and play cards.

It is a real local. I have been using it, as all the local pubs for 50 years, and come here perhaps once a week. Easy to get talking to people here even if your first time. Many of the customer come from just a street or two away while others will travel some distance to enjoy the company. As a real ale enthusiast I enjoy the three changing real ales on offer

Visiting family locally and called in on the off chance. Brilliant. Warm welcome from staff and locals. Wish we had one like this near us. Wonderful ales and cold wine, nice garden. Had a brilliant evening. Will definitely go back when in the area.

Solid, wonderful, local neighborhood British pub. Good selection. Garden with play park. Dog and kid friendly. As a visitor, local regulars may look at you a bit sideways. But, that's alright. They're still friendly about it.

Always enjoy visiting this pub, beer is good and inside is very traditional with a good atmosphere. They have a beer garden and dogs are welcome.

Lovely local pub,went to a 1960's evening, most people dressed up, land lord and landlady Jason and veronique make you feel welcome, great music and lovely welcomed food put out later in the evening.very enjoyable evening, we will be back.

This is definitely a pub for the winter - friendly service, good ales, a roaring fire. In the summer, even though it has an outdoor garden, it seems to be lacking in something, even if it's just more ice.

Inside is like going back in time (in a nice way) with old advertisements and decorations, which have been there for years that make for a cosy and convivial atmosphere. Nice garden at the side/rear. The pub stocks a selection of interesting and well-kept ales.

Attended the Oxhey beer festival with some friends, made very welcome by the staff, the beer was good although the guest ales ran dry fairly early in the afternoon. Good pub, may long it will survive.

Lovely pub, gorgeous open fires in the winter,very accommodating,new owners very welcoming,highly recommend.

Now has a really nice feel to the place. It feels like a 'real pub' and the landlord Jason is very friendly and easy with his role. We live locally but haven't been going here for years because it was cliquey and somehow a closed shop. It only opened recently sporadically and had nothing to recommend it. Great 'new' addition to the village.

Lovely little community pub the size of a pocket handkerchief! They don't do cooked food, the kitchen is too small, but this is more than made up by the atmosphere. Free house, with regularly changing beers, lots of interesting paraphernalia on the walls. Games available on request! What a lovely place to while away the time.
