The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East of England

Surprisingly good for basically a cafe in a garden centre. And very popular - always people in there, even after closing time.

I have said before it's expensive really but the cake and coffee are very good and the staff excelled themselves.

I came here on Monday for lunch with my daughter and her friend. The food was delicious very well presented very freshly cooked. We all had different dishes and we loved it so much. The lady who served us. She was so good so professional and she was working so hard as it was only her working as a waitress, but she was lovely. The chef would come out sometimes to bring the food out to the customers,,and he was so nice as well and he was making sure everyone was happy. Overall I would definitely recommend this place hundred percent, my favourite one to go from now on when I need to go for a lunch in town

First time eating food with the new so called chief,the chicken was raw and totally had not probed, service is very slow,bar staff very unwell coming and never behind the bar.

On 28th August I went to The Railway pub in Witham with some friends, there 7 of us. We were looked after by the staff there. We all had lunch, the meals were excellent & reasonably priced too. We all thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon at this lovely old pub. We hope to return there again in the future!

The staff was helpful and friendly. Very clean. The music was not too loud. The cocktails were very good. A nice place to spend a couple of hours and have some drinks

It's a small Costas in my opinion with limited seating in the heart of St Albans. The staff was a little busy but got the order correct making the experience worthwhile and also notified that I can get a free drink with my app reward if I wanted to. That was great to know. Recommend if In the area. Coffee was good quality and service provided was satisfactory.

Food was cold onion rings was half cooked and burger was falling apart with all the sauce on 1 side worst order ive ever got from here

Fantastic to see the pub under new management, the improvements are already starting to show! I had actively avoided this place based on negative past experiences and poor-quality food, but this was a much different experience! Particualr mention to the manager Stuart, who helped create a welcoming atmosphere, and is clearly working hard to make a difference. Food was great, things are looking up!

2 Experiences Sunday. No Roast dinners left. 2 Courses in record time. Wanted us in and out as Quickly as possible. Choice of only 4 Mains. The Food was very good, but the service was Poor. The Gentleman behind the Bar was Very Rude. We have eaten there alot and left Disappointed. We had Booked for the Monday in advance, so we decided to go again. Monday was Completely different. The young lady that greeted was very polite. The Gentleman that served us was Superb. Also the young girl that has been at the lifeboat for a While was Superb. Nothing was too much for them. Also the Gentleman behind the bar(Different from Sunday)was very Polite and Professional. The Food is Superb Especially the Ribs 👌

There were 13 of us and I gave details of our pre-order. Prudence was fantastic is organising everything. The food was excellent and wait time was minimal. Thank you also to Becca, Beth and Harriet who were friendly helpful and couldn't do enough to help. I would happily recommend the Bakehouse to friends. All of our party were really happy with their experience.

2 course meal and a drink £25 to £30. Great atmosphere, friend and helpful staff.

Had expert advice from Jemma on the Charlotte Tilbury counter today. She really listened to me and I came away with some wonderful products and good advice. Would definitely recommend.

Short staffed but wearing a smile. Manager very apologetic and did her best to make our stay a good one
