Went for Mother’s Day breakfast staff were very accomadating as tables were reserved and they managed to squeeze us in. Fab breakfast thank you.

This is a great place for breakfast and good coffee good value too,we are sad it is closing as we have been going here sin it was Creme Restaurant Thank you for all the lovely food over the years you will be missed

My friend noticed this cafe in passing and we were looking for a place to eat, we looked at others but I got a good feeling about this place from the off. We walked in and noticed how clean it was, we walked to the till and was greeted by a friendly member of staff who was polite, friendly and chatty. He showed us the breakfast menu and I noticed an option called if I remember correctly The Mega Breakfast and I commented I could eat it, but that would be greedy so he suggested a smaller version called Fat Boy breakfast which I decided would do nicely with an orange juice as I don't drink tea or coffee. We chose a table near the wall at the front, and before long the waitress brought my mate her drink which was a capachino and it was extra hot, exactly how my mate loves it and a plate of toast. Then shortly afterwards our breakfasts came and we were disappointed, when I saw the size of my plate, my exact words were check out this Bad Boy Breakfast, too which my mate and the waitress burst out laughing as I'd just renamed the breakfast and it's stuck. She told the rest of her colleagues and they all thought it was a mint name as well, so in my head it's now called the Bad Boy Breakfast!! Our breakfasts were cooked exactly how we wanted them and it was clean plates all round. We will definitely be visiting again, it was busy and seemed to have their regulars, and again it was really clean which is such a must in our book.

Called in at Metro after a walk through Highfields Park. Delicious ham and cheese panini and reasonable prices. Well worth a visit

The sirloin steak was tough and the chips could have been cooked longer, they were slightly soggy.

Tomó a una amiga de 94 años muy querida para el té y pasteles aquí como un día fuera de su hogar de ancianos. Llevamos a nuestra perrita también como no la había visto en años. Llamé antes para asegurarme de que Ziggy podía ir a la cafetería, que dijeron que había una cubierta protegida para nosotros. Así que fuimos. No había espacio en la pequeña zona protegida, así que tuvimos que sentarnos fuera y mientras era un día bastante agradable. Todavía hacía frío a la sombra. También estábamos sentados al lado de una carretera muy transitada, rápida y prácticamente en el aparcamiento. Se respiran muchos humos. Pedimos té y bollos. El té estaba bueno, pero los Scones estaban muy secos. La mesa era una pequeña redonda, así que con dos bandejas y 3 personas, estaba muy aplastado. Realmente no fue la experiencia que queríamos darle a nuestro amigo. Pero diré que se divirtió. Pero la próxima vez iremos a Trowell GC donde hay mucho espacio, dentro de áreas para perros y comida muy buena.

It's a Starbucks in a hotel! It's not as busy as the high street but the service is fast, better than the hotel bar!

Love this pub. We moved to the area 2 years ago. The owner was the first person who greeted us. Very friendly. All about helping the local community. There is always lots of activities on. Wish this business all the best.

12 of us went for Sunday lunch and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The food was delicious, lots of it, and the biggest Yorkshire puddings ever! Staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. We go out once a month as a group of friends for Sunday lunch, and we always rate the venue for food and service - we rated the Royal Oak 9.75. We will be back.

Fantastic bar and very friendly staff and lovely food.can’t fault it.will go there again hopefully highly recommend it.

Sunday lunch was not good. Asked if Beef Rare they said medium. Beef came very well done and chewy. Yorkshire pudding couldn’t eat. Did complain nothing happened. I could go on but won’t Will not eat here again.

Enjoyed the tuna toastie and my mum had a coffee which she has been talking about for weeks now, the atmosphere was lively and warm and toilet clean
