Honestly for the food it’s 5 stars. Reviewed as 4 as was quite let down by the person working on the front counter/coffee bar was not very cheerful. We visited the morning of November 8th. The food was AMAZING! And had absolutely no faults! The kind woman who took the booking on the phone was extremely cheerful and bubbly, however the woman working on the coffee bar was not so much. Barely cracked a smile and did not seem to want to engage in polite conversation. Will happily visit again, hopefully this was a one off! :)

Keller Taproom is primarily a pub rather than a restaurant. I visited on a night out with friends after discovering it while heading for another pub. It's tucked away a bit on Broughton Street Lane and so it probably qualifies as being a hidden gem. It would be easy to walk past on Broughton Street and not know it was there. There was a good selection of beer and the service was prompt. I enjoyed my visit and I'd definitely visit again.

My friend noticed this cafe in passing and we were looking for a place to eat, we looked at others but I got a good feeling about this place from the off. We walked in and noticed how clean it was, we walked to the till and was greeted by a friendly member of staff who was polite, friendly and chatty. He showed us the breakfast menu and I noticed an option called if I remember correctly The Mega Breakfast and I commented I could eat it, but that would be greedy so he suggested a smaller version called Fat Boy breakfast which I decided would do nicely with an orange juice as I don't drink tea or coffee. We chose a table near the wall at the front, and before long the waitress brought my mate her drink which was a capachino and it was extra hot, exactly how my mate loves it and a plate of toast. Then shortly afterwards our breakfasts came and we were disappointed, when I saw the size of my plate, my exact words were check out this Bad Boy Breakfast, too which my mate and the waitress burst out laughing as I'd just renamed the breakfast and it's stuck. She told the rest of her colleagues and they all thought it was a mint name as well, so in my head it's now called the Bad Boy Breakfast!! Our breakfasts were cooked exactly how we wanted them and it was clean plates all round. We will definitely be visiting again, it was busy and seemed to have their regulars, and again it was really clean which is such a must in our book.

Went for Sunday lunch. Staff nice. Food took an age to arrive. I had ‘roast pork’ which was cheap pork drowning in thick gravy with undercooked vegetables. A stupidly large and very dry Yorkshire pudding was dumped on top. The food was lukewarm too. Just awful and reminiscent of school dinners in the 1970s. Left half of mine as it was so rank. Also no lock on toilet cubicle in Gents. A soulless and tasteless experience. Avoid.

Well run village Pub, with a good range of beers. There's plenty of seating inside and out and food is prepared on the premises. Wednesday is Pizza day and I had an Italian stone baked one which was over crispy on the edges but otherwise good
