Coffee & Cream in Broxtowe

My friend noticed this cafe in passing and we were looking for a place to eat, we looked at others but I got a good feeling about this place from the off. We walked in and noticed how clean it was, we walked to the till and was greeted by a friendly member of staff who was polite, friendly and chatty. He showed us the breakfast menu and I noticed an option called if I remember correctly The Mega Breakfast and I commented I could eat it, but that would be greedy so he suggested a smaller version called Fat Boy breakfast which I decided would do nicely with an orange juice as I don't drink tea or coffee. We chose a table near the wall at the front, and before long the waitress brought my mate her drink which was a capachino and it was extra hot, exactly how my mate loves it and a plate of toast. Then shortly afterwards our breakfasts came and we were disappointed, when I saw the size of my plate, my exact words were check out this Bad Boy Breakfast, too which my mate and the waitress burst out laughing as I'd just renamed the breakfast and it's stuck. She told the rest of her colleagues and they all thought it was a mint name as well, so in my head it's now called the Bad Boy Breakfast!! Our breakfasts were cooked exactly how we wanted them and it was clean plates all round. We will definitely be visiting again, it was busy and seemed to have their regulars, and again it was really clean which is such a must in our book.

What a nice place to relax, have a meal or just a coffee. The grilled pork chop was great and loads of veg. Its a must.

We went to this cafe in Eastwood today for a simple brunch. The cafe is clean and well staffed and the proprietor has a professional and caring attitude. Everything is waiter served. We had a toastier each and it came quickly with a lovely salad and coleslaw garnish. The prices are fair too. We will certainly be back.

I'd say this is certainly a diamond in the rough! The food is great, 5 star worthy in my opinion, top quality and the staff are very friendly. Menu price is average but certainly good for it's value, in my opinion I'd say it's cheap for quality food but price wise it's average. Only downside is it's not open after 5pm which is a real shame because most people are busy before 5pm.

Called in here today as wanted a cup of tea but the menu looked very tempting and reasonable so had a breakfast also. Service was very quick. Staff were very nice and the food was good. Clean and tidy and we will definitely go back.

I have visited this cafe over the last year or more and each visit is the same. This is local with a Capitol L in that now my order is remembered, I just pay. If it is as usual, busy they collect my payment and then serve my meal. The quality of service is excellent as is the food. The value for money is not to be beaten in the area but the big feature is freshly cooked food and the standard never drops below great. I am big fan of coffee and cream and a frequent visitor. If using a wheelchair it is challenging but worth the effort.
