It's a Starbucks in a hotel! It's not as busy as the high street but the service is fast, better than the hotel bar!

Friendly staff although service was a little slow.Coffee was as expected and no issues at all.I appreciate it’s within the hotel although managed separately as it’s a franchise but it’s only open 6am to 6pm which is a shame! They are missing a lot of possible trade as they are closed when most people are arriving at the hotel to check in and also trade from the large number of people that visit the visit the hotels gym in the evenings. If it was open when I arrived at the hotel every evening after work I’d have given it a higher rating overall.

Visited while at the Village Hotel. Always great coffee and the staff were friendly too. My favourite drink is the caramel macchiato.

I think the staff here don’t get enough credit for the amazing job they do. You won’t find staff like this in any other Starbucks. Nick in particular is so patient and so kind and so knowledgeable. He thinks nothing of helping anybody and is always so professional. On one single day I saw him tending to a disabled customer repeatedly, including helping the customer sit down safely (the customer has visual difficulties), helping explain which sandwiches were available (remembering the customers favourites) and generally tending to them whilst also serving others. On that same shift a customer came in half an hour after closing asking for a ‘green drink that looks like pondwater’. The customer questioned the closing time and hovered around with no regard for the fact he had said the place was closed but he had offered to make anything he could with the equipment still turned on. Fifteen minutes later as we left he was still helping this customer figure out what she wanted, well beyond closing time when he really didn’t have to. He endlessly goes above and beyond and he’s never remotely unattentive. It’s worth mentioning Rob as well who is always cheerful, chatty and working hard. It’s just a lovely Starbucks and somehow the drinks always taste better than elsewhere too. Maybe it’s the kindness of the staff I don’t know but, it’s quite the hidden treasure in chillwell.

Not the best Starbucks I've visited. Too much posing and not enough action. However, the coffee was good although the chocolate was lukewarm.

We stayed in the Village hotel for a pre Christmas treat on a room only basis. We were delighted to see there was a Starbucks on site- it had a good ambience, was convenient and great coffee ! We were able to attack the Christmas shopping afterwards!

I love Starbucks and not a week goes by without my usual caramel macchiato. I was not disappointed with my caramel macchiato hwre in fact I think it is the best one I have ever had. Even beating ones I had in America and Canada!Really impressed. A lovely clean store too and polite staff.Keep up the good work!!

Nice Starbucks within the hotel. Unfortunately it’s only a franchise so rewards not available. You can’t pay with the app either. On the plus side the usual Starbucks quality of the drinks.

Visited this as it was in the foyer of the hotel. Relaxing area to sit, all the usual food and drinks available. Friendly staff

Visited this establishment , whilst a family member was in a meeting , the service is good, the coffee is good , the cafe itself is small, rather cramped, there isn’t enough room for pushchairs or wheelchairs, yes they have seats you can sit on outside the cafe , but it’s not what I went there for,
