Hace poco celebré mi 30 cumpleaños en el Jenkins Bar, ¡y fue una experiencia increíble de principio a fin! Carolyn y el equipo eran muy serviciales, haciendo todo el proceso sin problemas y sin estrés. El lugar en sí tiene un ambiente fantástico - íntimo, elegante y perfecto para una celebración. Con el número de invitados que había invitado, opté por el alquiler exclusivo (arriba y abajo) , que funcionaba brillantemente para una mezcla de familia y amigos. Muchos de mis invitados comentaron lo genial que era el espacio, y muchos dijeron que no habían sabido sobre el bar antes, pero definitivamente volverían! Uno de los aspectos más destacados fue trabajar con Luke, el mixólogo, para crear un cóctel personalizado para la noche: fue un toque tan divertido y único. El personal del bar era fantástico, manteniéndose al día con una noche ajetreada mientras se mantiene amable y eficiente. La comunicación clara de Carolyn durante todo el proceso de planificación también hizo todo tan fácil, y en la noche, todo funcionó sin problemas. No tuvimos ningún problema para cumplir con el gasto mínimo - seguro decir, todo el mundo se lo pasó muy bien! Otra gran ventaja es la ubicación del bar, a las afueras del centro de la ciudad, por lo que es fácilmente accesible sin las multitudes habituales de la ciudad. También aprecié mucho la flexibilidad de poder traer nuestra propia comida y dejar decoraciones más temprano en el día, lo que hizo que la configuración fuera libre de estrés. Si usted está buscando para apoyar a una pequeña empresa independiente con un lugar único para un evento privado, recomiendo encarecidamente Jenkins Bar. I ordered sandwich platters,very last minute I may add,they delivered to my door with complimentary sausage rolls!!!! The sandwiches were delicious,plenty of fillings,so so fresh,presented beautifully. I honestly can't reccomend enough. Thank you very much and I will definitely use you again......5⭐

I meet up with friends every Monday, breakfast is wonderful, done to how you want it, wonderful poached eggs , yolks runny just right , white of eggs perfect, a friend always has a full English breakfast, always looks perfect, she has never had to complain, in fact next Monday I will have that breakfast it looks so good, owner and staff always so welcoming and great service, my sister and I had a high tea, for her birthday, it was fabulous and really worth the money.

Delighted to find this place - it was just what we wanted. We both had decaf capuccinos. My husband had tiffin, I had Bakewell slice. Both just right and prepared us for our walk back to Matlock.

What can say about the star pin absolutely brilliant from sports on TV to darts boards and pool table large garden for summer and outside events and the food is second to none absolutely fantastic. Sunday dinner are to die for staff are welcoming and friendly service is brilliant. In house league for darts and pool a brilliant well run village pub 👌 absolutely love this pub dubbed my second home now for sundays atleast 😆

i came the other day to have lunch and the service was a 10/10 there was so many lovely staff who were more than happy to accommodate us to a seating area that fitted us best, very lovely staff and the food was top class, thank you very much

Booked here for my friends Birthday 🎁 We took our dogs. The staff are very welcoming & friendly, great food, great service! Lovely atmosphere too. Clean & tastefully decorated. The lamb Sunday roast was absolutely delicious 😋. My friend enjoyed their Sausage Roast too ☺️

This place is an absolute gem of a find laid back atmosphere with amazing food. The sticky toffee pudding is the best we’ve ever had. An absolute must if visiting Glossop

Sin duda el mejor lugar de música jazz en vivo en las Midlands. El ambiente es tan relajado y cómodo, los actos en vivo son brillantes, la comida es excelente y la amplia selección de bebidas es perfecta para una noche animada pero sofisticada.

We were a group of 7 friends getting together for brunch and a catch up The place is very small which is not a problem but not good for any groups larger than we were. It’s very traditional to the building with stone floors and exposed beams etc. which is good for most of the clientele as this is walkers or cyclists. They accommodate dogs too. That is the good part. Considering how busy this little cafe was, thy did not have enough staff on to manage this. We had the menus but it wasn’t clear we had to go to the counter and order. A pot of tea for 1 was ordered and came with the smallest coffee cups ever, way too small for a cup of tea. Cold drink glasses were also brought out and they too were like child size cups. The menu is very strange and very limited Among our orders were soup and a toasty. The only soup option remaining was Pea and Mustard! Which none of us had experienced as a combination. It arrived so cold the plate bowl wasnt even warm. The toasties were good but again odd pairings and not good if you have a dislike of cheese. The other thing that was annoying was there was no visible signage for the toilet. There was a door but nothing that said it was a toilet so I didn’t know if I was walking into a cupboard or the loo. We would not return as it was not good for our needs but for smaller groups or individuals in need of a quick pit stop it is ok

Some pics on the wall would finish off the atmosphere. Please can you have a second choice of coffee. Really enjoy coming here for Brunch/Lunch. But the coffee isn’t up to much - very bitter. Thanks
