My friend and I popped in here after goose fair. Welcomed by a friendly tender. Seated and given drinks menu. They make a fabulous campari spritz !!!!! A great clean beautiful busy place. Highly recommend 👌 x

40th birthday party in the private function room. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly, attentive bar staff. Can't comment on the food as we did our own catering, but area for the buffet was set up and ready when we arrived. Bar even gave us a birthday card! A lovely touch. Thank you, guys x

I held my 30th birthday upstairs and had a wonderful evening with 30 of my friends and family. Staff are lovely and helpful and my guests had a fabulous time. I would definitely recommend this as a great private hire option for those who have special events! Thank you so much Jenkins team for making my birthday one to remember!

The staff at Jenkins were amazing when I had my 30th party there this weekend. The room was perfect and the 10/10 communication and organisation didn’t go unnoticed- and the staff are all wonderful. The atmosphere is great at quiet or busy times, but the best thing for me, is that the staff are on it with regards to the drinks table service and the charming way it's delivered. Nice selection of drinks and attention to detail. For example, the signature large ice cubes. This is my favourite bar. 10/10

Jenkins recently hosted a cocktail making class for a few friends and I. We had such a great time. The staff were fantastic, they showed us all of the different elements of cocktail making before then giving us the opportunity to make our own. When we arrived we had a glass of fizz and nibbles (as part of the package) and the class lasted for two hours. Jenkins has always been a nice bar but it's really stepped up a gear since coming under new ownership. Thanks for a great time.

We had our 40th wedding anniversary upstairs at Jenkins Bar, management were very accommodating, bar staff very friendly and the atmosphere excellent, the barman on the night did a great job controlling the bar tab and serving fast and efficiently , all 50 of my guests enjoyed the night , it went without any issues, a great night.

Jenkins hosted my 50th birthday party in January. Aaron and Carolyn couldn’t have been more enthusiastic and helpful from the beginning. As I was looking for an accessible space due to a friend in a wheelchair, they were open to us booking out both the upstairs room and the downstairs for the evening, which was fantastic. Downstairs has step-free access from the rear courtyard and there is an accessible toilet, which was just what we needed. During conversations and communication with Aaron & Carolyn, they were completely flexible and open to my ideas and made helpful suggestions about music and catering options. They even suggested that they could create a special Jenkins birthday cocktail for me for the evening. I visited before the event and met Luke and Ellis, two of the amazing Jenkins team. Luke walked us round the space and talked us through everything, answering any questions we had. Ellis, the Cocktail Maestro, sat down with us, listened to the drinks and flavours I liked, and then came up my very own, unique cocktail. The event itself was fantastic. So many friends commented on what a great venue Jenkins was; so warm and welcoming. It was great being able to have a more chilled space downstairs and a dancefloor upstairs. The birthday cocktail was a big hit and went down really well. Everyone had such a great time and we definitely could have partied into the night, even though we benefitted from a late bar until midnight. I would absolutely recommend Jenkins for a private event. Hosting my birthday party there really made it special and I’d love to repeat it every year! Thank you to all the Jenkins team!

School night but no atmosphere as everyone sat in coats because it was freezing cold. One radiator turned off. Poor. Didn't have food. Drinks Menu encouraged you to ask for drinks not listed - but couldn't do an Aperol Spritz 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Brilliant table service and lovely ambience with mixed clientele. Dog welcoming and a lovely bar. BUT……food options limited and poor quality. Too much poor quality oil and not enough vinegar in bread offering. Most importantly was meant to be soul night - some random R and B tracks but def not soul

I hosted my 30th birthday party at Jenkins in the upstairs area. This is the perfect space for a birthday! I had around 25 guests but the space holds up to 35. Jenkins were so flexible and accommodating when organising my birthday, and they were brilliant on the night too. Great affordable drinks & cocktails. 100% recommend

Recently visited for the first time, and had a really good experience. There’s a wide range of drinks on offer, and a Jenkins cocktail list with some fantastic drinks on, all that we tried were really good. There’s a table service for drinks which has just the right level of attentiveness and all the staff were great. There’s a nice ambiance to the place, from the decoration to having enough tables, but you’re not crammed in too close to others.

A lovely looking, small place with friendly staff. But, it is shocking expensive!!!!!!! It’s only in a Sherwood, but prices are like London, not even Nottingham city centre charges this much. Watch out as they give you half a glass of ice too to cut corners. It’s a shame as the setting and staff are nice

Lovely dog friendly bar. Gets very busy. They have an outside terrace at the back. Some seating outside the front too.

Lovely little place, very cosy with nice friendly staff. However, we ordered 2 cocktails - when they came they were in tall glasses. Tasted delicious but the only problem was that when we had finished the drinks the glasses were still half full if ice!! We paid 8 pounds for each cocktail - don't mind that at all so long as the glasses were full of alcohol and not half full of ice!! Come on guys!!

Lovely friendly bar in Sherwood. They do great Irish Coffees and great cocktails. It's always buzzing and you can bring your dog with you.

Truly amazing bar with incredibly kind staff who let me have a fancy pineapple glass! My boring friend was incredibly envious. I think he stole it from me though.

My mate demanded that he take one of their pineapple pina colada glasses home. He has left it at mine. I do intend to return it. Lovely bar, but my friend let down my experience with his behaviour.

Probably the most dog friendly pub/ bar I have ever been to. The owner always seems to be on shift and she is really lovely, friendly, personable and loves the dogs. Also, really nice drinks. Not the cheapest on the high street but I don't think they are trying to compete with the pubs.

Having been a regular at the bar most Fridays before Lockdown, we miss these guys. The cocktails and beers are amazing, in an unrushed happy environment. We will be back when lockdown is lifted. Keep up the amazing work.

The perfect Sunday afternoon treat. Throughout 2020 I've been impressed with Crimson Tree's attitude to innovation and adaptability. I've had great takeaways in the park, brunch outside with my parents and plenty of coffee and cake. When my friends and I saw that they were teaming up with Jenkins Bar to offer weekend afternoon tea, we knew it would be good and booked straight away. I'd never been into Jenkins before and what a wonderful surprise, the decor is lush, decadent but at the same time cosy and welcoming. We were greeted by two lovely members of staff who gave us a tour, including the sun trap garden. We were led to our large table in the window upstairs which was peaceful, with comfy sofas that swallowed us up, perfect for a good Sunday afternoon catch up session. Unlike other afternoon teas I've been to, the staff at Jenkins allowed us to take our tea at our own pace, starting with our glass of fizz and a cuppa and relaxing before the food. We were never rushed and felt so comfortable the time whizzed by, the service was exactly right, warm, welcoming and attentive but not overly so. What about the food? I hear you cry. Again, the food was even better than expected. The pictures below show a one person portion so go hungry or take a Tupperware with you! I LOVED their Midlands spin on the traditional. Mini Cobs and a slice of the classic Crimson Tree sausage roll were a great alternative to plain old finger sandwiches. Next up portions of some more Crimson Tree Classics, we ordered tea as we moved on to the sweet stuff and it was excellent with lovely plastic free tea bags. I took my brownie home with me, as I was pretty full, but being the perfect kind of fudgey brownie I think it might even have been better with my morning cuppa the next day. The scones were fluffy and light, I ate one there and took the other home. We had one veggie in our party (we let them know when we booked) and her sausage roll was swapped for a little veggie pastry. When we departed with cheery goodbyes from the team, pleasantly full of food, very happy, handbags full of cake we vowed to make a habit of afternoon tea. Honestly I can't think of anywhere as nice to go in the neighbourhood so I think we'll be back very soon! Thanks guys, keep up the good work!

Menu needs more information as just single lines and a price - googled a few drinks. Went on a busy Friday but did get a table and maybe when less busy can ask about offerings. Had two drinks but came to more than price advertised when paid at end. Didn't argue and maybe there is a charge for table service? It's not for us but lots of people happy there and reviews seem good so not not recommending.

Very nice and relaxing environment however I fount the staff to be very pushy in keep asking us about 5 times if we want a drink staight after the first one. Then asked us do we want the bill!! As if they want you out. It's a shame staff needs to work on their customer service.
