This is a community cafe, we were working nearby and fancied a coffee. The ladies running the cafe work as a team and so service is quick and efficient. There was many young parents enjoying a break from entertaining toddlers and the cafe feels like a proper community hub.

Post Office and café. A regular stop on bicycles for a sausage roll to keep as going. Lovely.

Call collect, Sit in, order great economically priced food to take away. Food was freshly cooked, quickly, Very tasty.. Nearly cost same as a pie but a lot healthier & was fresh..

Called in today for breakfast with a friend I had full English minus beans, my friend had homemade waffle We both ordered coffee We both agreed this was the best venue to enjoy breakfast in Southwold, being locals we have tried all the cafes in the area. Staff were very pleasant and professional We will definitely return and looking forward to having lunch in this delightful cafe.

We arrived with friends that had recommended The Whalley Wine Bar (and Wine shop). We started with visiting the wine shop, after browsing the wines through the store we got chatting to a few, very knowledgeable chaps that really knew their stuff. Lots of recommendations to sample different wines. We earmarked a few wines, but then left to get a bite to eat next door in the wine bar, to then return and make our purchases. The wine bar, on a Saturday was extremely busy (no surprise), however we were made to feel welcome and although we hadn't reserved a table, the waitress managed to make us some space with a 30 minute limit, she then managed to move bookings around, giving us a lot longer (a nice touch). From here we ordered some delicious bites to go with the wine, (Mine being a Chablis and Pate). The atmosphere was truly amazing and the service very good. We then returned to the wine shop to purchase our wines, which again, really made to feel welcome even though the shop at this point was a lot busier. All in all, a very lovely experience from both sides of this business. We live over an hour away but we're already planning our return, trust me, it's worth the drive.

I have to come to Popular Cafe in whetstone most days in the week because North Finchley has not got a decent cafe like this one which is just unbelievable. I have been coming to this cafe for years. They do the best lunch time specials - their homemade food is lovely. Very good value for money and great customer service. I highly recommend their chicken escalope with spaghetti bolognese and also the chicken shish kebab (the mix is also very good too). 10/10 to this amazing cafe!! Lovely family run business..

walk in to being greeted by 2 lovely ladies always ready for a laugh and the food is amazing this place deserves alot more hype

Anne Marie, the owner, is such a lovely, welcoming person. Food cooked to perfection and just how I asked for it (I am very fussy). The premises was spotlessly clean too. The menu is also extensive, and also caters for those at Slimming World.
