Most excellent cafe. Staff very friendly and cafe roomy, clean with most comfortable chairs. We had a couple of very tasty crepes with coffees. Does other food and would highly recommend. Right opposite the Cathedral, so great place to stop. Visit this cafe.

Super find, Ashley super guy, food was great and so good value for money, I had cheese and tomato toastie served with a delicious salad and the tea just like we'd made it at home. Thankyou it was great

I really like this eatery. I the food and they serve a decent cup of coffee. Staff are very engaging as well which is icing on the proverbial bacon sandwich! Anyway, give it a try if you’re in Edenbridge.

Visité por primera vez en la calle en marzo 20 th en una espuela del momento reservando. Me recibió en la puerta Sasha que no solo era acogedor, sino divertido también. Estaba sentado en el bar solo, pero nunca me sentí “solo” o incómodo debido a una gran conversación de Hannah y Sasha. Hannah también me ayudó con mi elección de bocadillo antes de la cena ... . Su gusto era impecable. ¡En pocas palabras, tómese un tiempo para visitar este lugar! Comida épicamente buena que es muy fresca y adictiva y servicio que no se puede superar! Ps prueba ahí amaretto 🥰

Qué café tan bonito. Un café delicioso, tan bueno que tomé un segundo. El desayuno de avena fue encantador, muy fresco y maduro. El pastel también era delicioso, gran equilibrio de sabores. El personal también es muy agradable y eficiente. Vale la pena visitarlo, sin duda volveré.

This little gem was booked almost blindly. We needed accommodation close to the nearby Swinton Hall Estate for family wedding.We had no idea what it was going to be like, nor how expensive the food was likely to be. Well, what a find! We arrived to be greeted by the very friendly landlord, Chris, and his wife. The accommodation is comfortable and clean with all the usual expected bits readily to hand. Downstairs in the bar you're treated to a friendly atmosphere, warm and cosy with a wide choice of very reasonably priced meals available to eat in the deceptively spacious dining room.The food arrived and it was fantastic! Big, hot plates, literally loaded with huge portions of good homemade food. I had steak and ale pie, chips and peas which, like everything else on the menu, was priced at £5! (Back home in Oxfordshire I'd have expected go pay upwards of £12 for the same meal).The following morning we all enjoyed a big cooked breakfast with loads of toast, tea and coffee.The landlord couldn't have been more helpful. My sister is gluten intolerant and Chris made sure she was catered for both at the evening meal and at breakfast.Absolutely fantastic! We'll definitely be back when we're next up that way.

This hidden gem is a must for foodies. Been a couple of times and never disappointed. Food, fresh, hot and delicious and at a good price. Staff always friendly and professional. Has a lovely atmosphere. This is one of my favourite ever eateries. Plenty of different things to choose from - hard to make your mind up!

This is a gem of a place great food great service we keep going back highly recommended. It also has some of the best coffee I’ve tasted

so some really good stuff, but some not so goo.d croissant with salami and cheese was lovely. coffee was very very good. but, and here is the but - I did not want a takeaway cup and had to really push the point. it does make a difference. and hey - it was a bit cold

I came across Slaters when looking at a map of the area. I've never been to this part of Nelson before, but having looked at their Facebook page and seeing their ice creams my mind was easily made up. We went just after 1pm on a Wednesday afternoon and had a regular vanilla ice cream cone and a large cookies and cream and battenburg ice cream cone (2 flavours on one cone). The flavours were amazing and we would definitely return to try more.

Picked up a breakfast from Gridl when we were staying round the corner from it last week, booked for just before 9am and drove round, really easy to find in the corner of Bookers car park, got a thumbs up as I pulled in to the car park so was ready bang on time. Everything we had was hot, fresh and really good quality produce, hit the spot perfectly for me, would not hesitate to return next time we are in the area. Really friendly guy serving as well, wish him all the best 👍

This is a brilliant little coffee shop with amazing coffee and great little eats well the sandwiches on thick Italian bread are a delight and a yummy selection of sweet treats also awaits. The bread sold there chewy brown soda bread is delicious especially toasted. The staff and the owner are lovely. Fantastic customer service and rewards card for revisiting. We drive quite a long way just to go to this coffee shop. Introduced by our Sonny. So glad he did. Keep it up guys.

Popped in 4 lunch. Amazing toastie..lashings of brie. Perfect bacon. Tangy cranberry. Salad perfectly dressed. Husband and wife team always lovely but wife does support leeds united. Oh well cant have it all
